Hush India pvt ltd — Bed made of poor quality wood

We purchased a bed from Hush in January 2015 for INR 50, 000, from the store next to Phoenix Mills in Parel, Mumbai. We were told that this was made of teak wood and therefore assumed that the bed would be sturdy and last reasonably long. 8 months down the line, one of the wooden headboard bars broke in half, as easily as if it was made of particle board. I also noticed that one of the legs of the bed had chipped badly although the bed had not been moved since it was assembled (it is a big bed and impossible to move). This is certainly not teakwood or hardwood of any sort, and we would not have paid as much for a bed of this quality. Since we were still in the warranty period, we called Hush to fix it - and it took about 10 days and multiple calls for them to send someone over. Again, not the kind of customer service you would expect on a premium bed. We are happy with the premium mattress, topper etc that we bought but I am unlikely to now buy any other furniture from Hush.
