On 31st December around 9:30 am, I was trying to book an air ticket on GoIbibo for Travelling from Jodhpur to Kolkata. I selected a ticket, went to the payment page and entered the paypal details. Once I clicked on pay, it tried to process the payment for some time and I was told that payment succeeded. However, I never received any email confirmation for the ticket. Later on the same day I called GoIbibo, and the representative on the phone confirmed that the purchase was unsuccessful and that I would be refunded the amount o[censored]SD 297. Till this day I was charged that amount by my bank and I haven't received a refund. There is no way to contact anyone from GoIbibo (I forgot the number I had called that day). What makes me anxious is that there is no proof from GoIbibo that I paid this amount, except for my bank statement. Also a quick online search showed that other people have faced similar situations and had to wait for months for the refund. Was this information helpful? |
