[Resolved] Ibibo Group / Goibibo — hotel booking confirmation incorrect | |||
I booked a hotel stay from goibibo on 11th jan, 2019 for 2 nights and 3 days for check in on 30th jan, 2019 and check out on 1st feb, 2019 with booking id htlmbuzs24 for the waterfront shaw hotel in lavasa for my family of 2 adults and 2 sons (Age 11yrs and 10yrs respectively). I made a non-refundable booking inclusive of breakfast for 4 o[censored]s and made an upfront payment of inr 9720. The confirmation email that i received mentioned wrong ages for my sons as 1yr old each. My wife immediately bought this to goibibos notice and asked them to rectify the ages. They are denying to do the same and asking us to pay inr 6000 additional plus taxes. Complain id[protected] Firstly why would i book a 1bhk apartment with 2 infants. Secondly why would i make a obvious lie in a non refundable booking. Thirdly this was an error on goibibo's part that the ages mentioned while booking the hotel were not mentioned correctly in the booking confirmation, the app clearly states that my booking if for 4 guests. I fail to understand what should i pay extra for when i have already paid occupancy charges for 4 guests and also the booking includes breakfast for all 4. We have all the call recordings of conversations with the goibibo executives and one of them after speaking to his senior even asked my wife what is the maximum amount you are ready to pay. This is clearly extortion as they know it is a non-refundable booking and we wont have a choice but to pay. Was this information helpful? | |||

I have booked train ticket via Goibibo. Due to change in train destination I cancelled the ticket. But amount is not yet refunded to my account. Please take early action. Details of booking given in screenshot attached. PNR No.[protected]
