[Resolved]  Ibibo Group / Goibibo — no cashback received even after applying the promocode while booking

Hello, i had booked “caravela beach resort” in goa from 2 jan 19 to 5 jan 19 from goibibo app. The booking amount was 96700. While booking, i had applied a promo code cashback according to which if i make payment through my debit/credit card then i ll get approx 20% cashback after i checkout from the resort. Which i haven’t received till now.

I am calling customer care people for last two days who are not responding well and behaving rudely. I have also mailed the booking confirmation received on my email in which it is mentioned that the promocode applied is cashback because the goibibo people are now saying that i have not applied any promocode. How could they make this false statement when they know that i have the proof.

Well, finally i am forced to submit the complaint here and going to do it on other consumer forums and facebook. It is a request to please solve the issue.

I had booked a resort in goa from 2 jan 19 to 5 jan 19. My booking id is htlw3jcv9k and booking amount is 96761. While booking, i applied a promocode cashback according to which if i make the payment through debit/credit card, i ll receive 20% cashback after checkout. My stay at the resort was awesome, but after checkout, i did not receive any cashback nor any notification.

I tried calling the customer care people and they are saying that no promocode was applied!!! How can they give such false statements when i have the proof. When i booked the resort, i received a confirmation email from goibibo and in that email it is stated promocode applied: cashback. So the customer care people asked for the screen short of the mail which i have already sent.

One of the customer care person was so rude like it was my fault and not the company’s!!! He straight away said “koi cashback nai milega” and so rudely; i haven’t seen any customer care person talking so rudely.

Well after all this harrasment, i am forced to submit a complaint here. Hopefully it will get resolved and i ll get my cashback which i deserve.
