[Resolved] Ibibo Group / Goibibo — payment taken from bank account and not being refunded | |
I booked a one-way ticket from bom to yyz via dxb, on feb. 11, 2020. After payment (Rs. 37, 894) was made through net-banking, to my horror, an error message was displayed on the screen... "aww!! Your payment did not go through!! There was a problem procesing your payment... Reference id related... Is"comupkgintda59747984"for... Try and rebook..." Spoken to customer care and the executive confirmed the amount, then insisted that was my bank problem and asked to try to rebook the same.in reply to my query that do they adjust the ticket price if i rebook as advised, he asked me to pay once again for the new booking. He also said the money will be refunded in due course. When insisted about the reason for failure he informed the error was on account of their payment gateway provider (Name not discosed) and assured that money will be credited back to my account within 24 hours. He also added that i should contact them if i did not get the credit in my account. After more than 36 hours, i'm still struggling to get hold of any of the humans in the goibibo support. The chat option is only for registered users and the wite to management is asking for service request number (No one provided that). There is no email address for communicating with them.
