Please note that I had booked 5 tickets from Ambala to Kopargaon in the month of May 2018 through Jehlum Express 11078 and got PNR No. [protected]. Just like that I also booked return tickets for 18.8.2018 from Shirdi to Chandigarh through Sai Nagar Shirdi Express No. 22455 and the payment was deducted by the IRCTC from my account for five tickets and the tickets were confirmed. When on 14.8.2018, I tried to print out the PNR of return ticket from Shirdi to Chandigarh, the same was not appearing on both my Goibibo account as well as ITCTC account. When I contacted the helpline, they told that this might be due to server problem and you can contact Shirdi Station Superintendent to verify the same. As family was with me, so I booked another tickets through 2nd tier AC of same train, as the waiting list in three tier list was much more. When as per saying of helpline, we on 18.8.2018 at about 6 AM contacted the Railway staff at Shirdi, they shown their helplessness, but they informed me to contact TC in the train who can give clear picture. When I enquired from the TC of the said train, then he informed that I was having 5 tickets booked against PNR No. [protected] and the same were in B1 coach. Since the said PNR no. was neither appearing in my IRCTC account nor in my Goibibo account, therefore, due to non having of PNR no. due to fault of railway authorities, I have to further book tickets and caused a loss of Rs. 8675/-. Therefore, you are requested to kindly refund me an amount of Rs. 8675/- at an early date or I will have to initiate legal action against you.”
Please take now appropriate action and refund the amount.
