This was the email that i got from the goibibo team Dear customer, Greetings from goibibo.com!!! Thank you for being our valued customer. We are grateful for the pleasure of serving you and meeting your travel needs. This is in reference to your query under the transaction id: gobusand682d24ec97 Please accept our sincere apologies for inconvenience caused. This to inform you that the ticket which you have cancelled is being cancelled after the expiry of the cancellation policy. This ticket is being cancelled by 100% cancellation charges. You have cancelled the ticket on 18-jun-2017 10:08 am, but the policy has expired 11:30 pm on jun 18. Hence we are unable to process any refund for this transaction we request you to go through the cancellation policy mentioned on the ticket. For further assistance please write us on 24/7 express care www.goibibo.com/support/ or contact goibibo customer care support. Kind regards, Mohammed irfan Goibibo team [protected] / [protected] /[protected]Available 24x7) " Does this even make sense, According to the statement the customer support executive made, it says that the cancellation expires at 11:30 pm on june 18th, but i cancelled the ticket at 10:08 am in the morning hours of june 18th, and why on earth are these people not ready to give me the refund. Verified Support Jul 14, 2017 Ibibo Group / Goibibo Customer Care's response Hi Mohammed, Greetings from Goibibo, We regret for any inconvenience caused to you, kindly be advised that as checked and investigated the policies clearly show that if the booking is cancelled anytime till 11:30 PM on 18th June the cancellation charges of INR 560.00 will be applied so as you made the cancellation request at 10:08 AM on the same day no refund will be applicable as the same amount was paid for the booking as the cancellation charges. Please find attached the screenshot of the cancellation policy for your reference. Unfortunately we may not be able to take this any further at our end. We are now closing this case as resolved.
