[Resolved] Ibibo Group / Goibibo — refund not received and unsatisfied customer experience | |||
Goibibo has certain policies about using gocash+, which is, it can be used only when the booking amount is above 3500 inr. I observed many violations of that rule as many of my friends were able to use gocash+ even when their booking amount was not above 3500 inr. As a responsible citizen, i pointed out this mistake to the team and they promised me a refund of 500 inr in my bank account when i book another ticket through their portal. I did so as they told me and have been waiting for the refund for 5 months. As a matter of fact, they promised a refund in 5 to 14 working days. In between the process, i had many experiences customer dissatisfaction experiences- 1. They used to call me on some different mobile number and then email me that i was not picking up the phone. 2. There were a lot of executives and every time i had to explain them about the whole situation, they just called me for the sake of calling me. 3. They processed the refund but into some other persons bank account and not the one which i gave. 4. They first promise me a refund in my bank account and now give me gocash+ that expires in 5 days. 5. They have successfully wasted my 5 months with false promises and hopes of the refund. I could have used the trick of fooling the system and using gocash+ even when my ticket amount is below 3500inr but instead of doing that i cautioned the company about it.
