Ibibo Group / Goibibo — sold me a room which I did not get. | |||
Booked a highly rated hotel on the app. Check in 30th august - 7th september. I arrived at the hotel 10:50, mosquitoes swarming the place, so i decided to check the room out 1st. Oh my god literally the storm must have hit the place 8- 12 months ago and no one cleaned it. Mildew on the walls and bathroom, you know like pee stains. Broken mirror that had been taped up. Dirty sheets and bedding. I immediately walked back to the lobby and called goibibo explained to them the state of chaos. Goibibo sounded least bit concerned 1st they told me it would take 45 minutes, and it had taken 3 calls to get to that point, they'd tell me 5-10 minutes each time and would never call me back. I call again and again must have called 28 times by 6:42 am. No room, resolution, refund, this is a total scam. Isn't it illegal in india to charge for something that doesn't exist like the room they showed in the pictures. Almost 8 hrs completely wasted tired, with no place to go. Is this what is expected of india. That companies like this completely rob foreigners. They still kept telling me the concerned department will call me back in 10 minutes. Its like they can't be bothered, they know their untouchable. India should be ashamed to let this stand and also do you not have a health department? Or thats worst then this shrade.
