It is with deep regret i have to write this message to you as there is no escalation matrix designed within goibibo to highlight my grievance.
I have booked a ticket from goibibo in feb 2019 under an zero cancellation policy of hdfc credit card. At the time of booking the ticket, it clearly mention that you are eligible for this offer.
Unfortunately i had to cancel the ticket for some personal reason and when i tried to claim my refund from hdfc for the cancellation charges, it mentioned that i have used gogash of inr 625 due to which i am not eligible for the offer.
It was a clear misdirection by goibibo at the time of booking due to which i have to face financial loss.
I have been following up with the customer care for more than a month, but i have not received any responses from there end as they keep saying you will receive a call back with 24 hours but that never happens. I have no other means to escalate the issue. I am hopeful that you direct this grievance to the appropriate department as i have no clue about the progress of the complain.
This is the last resort which i have, else i will be compelled to raise my issue with the appropriate authority for the resolution of my grievance which would come with a cost for both me and goibibo which i am not in a favour of doing.
With my humble request, please look into this matter at the earliest.
