Dear GOIBIBO Team,
I am writing this email with deep desperation. Kindly note that I booked 4 tickets via GOIBIBO on 31st of October 2021 with PNR number T5OOFT, attached booking receipt and Itinerary. On 28th of January 2022, I had to cancel 2 tickets of (Mr.Santosh Kumar & Mrs.Ruby) out of 4 tickets and the request was raised via GOIBIBO and I received the cancellation confirmation regarding the same from GOIBIBO about the 2 tickets of (Mr.Santosh Kumar & Mrs.Ruby) and also the revised itinerary was sent to me by AIRINDIA on 28th January 2022, that displayed the details of 2 active passengers (Mrs. Amrutha & Mstr.Daivik) clearly.
On 5th of February 2022, when we were were about to check in the luggage and get the boarding pass at the airport, we were told by the checkin crew that the tickets of (Mrs. Amrutha & Mstr.Daivik) are invalid in this PNR and all the tickets had been cancelled, which was quite shocking to us. Though I tried to contact the customer support call-center, unfortunately didn't get connected.
As we could not postpone our travel and had to reach UAE on 5th of Feb, we had to book 2 tickets for Mrs.Amrutha & Mstr.Daivik on the same day(5th of Feb) from the airport with PNR number: ONEXQG which costed me INR 48322 as the tickets were booked just few hours before the boarding.
I need to know the reason why the whole ticket (T5OOFT) of 4 members got cancelled when I have not requested or initiated the cancellation. Just because of the carelessness and inefficiency of your system, I had to pay additional ticket fare. I would request you to reimburse the ticket fare amount of INR 48322 to my account as I was not supposed to take 2 additional tickets when the flight was about to be boarded.
Kindly do the needful at the earliest.
