I left IBM on 31.08.2021. My employee number was 002222H.
My FFS calculation had some deductions (recovery) due to LOA. In 2020, I had Covid and complications thereafter and hence I took sick leave of 19 days which was 5 days more than the standard 14 days for Covid. These 5 days of sick leave was approved in the system by my people manager.
When requesting for the reversal of the recovery, I again got the approvals from my people manager and IBM Medical Practitioner over email and shared with the HR team and they accepted it and informed me that they are processing the request. From there onwards, I had been following up multiple times a month, for the last 6 to 8 months, for the settlement of the balance amount and it is still pending. There had been over 50 email communications. A state of confusion has been created with very inefficient communication practices among the various teams within IBM - FFS, EDM, HR, Separations, etc. It looks like, after so many communications, the FFS team is not aware of the issue. I want the balance amount to be settled as soon as possible.
Since the delay has been long enough, I want the interest to be included in the calculations. The interest should be based on the prevailing rules and regulations (in my understanding it is 12% interest - please correct me if wrong).
The last request number in your records is 1515785. The response for this request was - "If the payroll and separations team receives upstream communication, then they will take action". I have copied Separations Team, EDM Team, HR Team and all escalation points in the emails. But still I continue to receive such responses. Was this information helpful? |
