Sir,

I would like to complain against the above mentioned company for repeatedly calling on the mobile phone and despite telling them that i am not interested, the telecaller abuses and then gives a repeated miss calls on the mobile from different no. Its been causing a lot of problems and would like you to take stern action against the culprit company / individual.

I am providing the list of no.s from where i have recd calls and the time of call.

Date 28 April:

[protected]missed call on 12.21 pm)
[protected]abused by telecaller for not taking the policy time: 12.17)
[protected]time 9.57 am)

Date 27 April:

[protected]refused to take the product; time 4.53pm)
[protected]time 4.54 pm)
[protected]missed call; time 4.58 pm)
[protected]time 4.59 pm, when asked about the compain email id and the reporting manager name the telecaller disconnected the call)

The telecallers make fun of the names with total disrespect and disconnect. When the no.s were called back, it does not have the incoming facility.

I had call the Bharti AXA life insurance toll free no. and had launched a complain and even sent the complain email on [protected]@bharti-axalife.com and i have also sent a complaint to ICICI Lombard too, but the reply from both the parties are awaited.

Pls help from the trouble thats been caused since last 2 days.

I faced the exact problems from[protected]:
a) Repeatedly calling on the mobile phone and despite telling them that i am not interested, the telecaller abuses and then gives a repeated miss calls on the mobile from different no.

I think stern action should be taken against the telecallers as well as main company for whom they work.

I am facing currently the same issue with[protected] ICICI.

The person keeps calling at odd timings.

Few guys at Netambit are harasing people all over the country. I have lodged the complaints to, I think companies like ICIC Kotak etc should take their jobs away frm this call centre where callers are free to harass a layman. This call centre has harmed our values, strict action required by law, police and TRAI.

    The reason why I am writing this email is I got a call from Azhar from ICICI Credit Card Hyderabad on 1 Apr at 14:19 hrs by the number[protected]. He said that the purpose of the call is to enhance my credit limit from 40, 000 to 1, 20, 000.

    The conversation goes like this:

    AZHAR (ICICI C.C): He introduced himself & then started confirming my CC details. He already had my CC number, Exp Date, my Billing Date, Outstanding bill amount, DOB and the rewards point.

    Rushabh (me): My biggest mistake was I said yes; I thought the guy has all the details means the call is very genuine.

    Azhar: He requested me to buy and health insurance from LOMBARD to gain the reward points through which my limit will be enhanced. He assured me that he will not activate the policy from there and will put the cancellation request as soon as the VRS department forwards the Request of policy.

    Rushabh: I took the policy and immediately got a call from him that he has forwarded the cancellation request and I will get a call from cancellation department asking the reason for canceling.

    PINKY: She called me at16:33 hrs from[protected] and asked me why I want to cancel the policy. I explained her and cancelled my policy. She replied that the policy is been cancelled without any cancellation charges and I will get the reference number within few minutes. She also added that please do not consider the sms which I got from CC department (debit message) and don’t bother about the documents which I will receive after 15 days.

    Rushabh: I thought that the policy is cancelled however today morning i.e. on 4-Apr-09 I got an SMS from ICICI Lombard that the policy no. 4034i/CHC/04592131/oo/ooo has been released and I will get it after 14 days. I was shocked and I called the Toll Free no. [protected] to check whether the policy is cancelled or not, Suresh said that the policy is not deactivated yet. I was pissed off and then I confirmed with my Credit card department regarding the CC limit, they said that no such request has been maid. I explained him about the call and policy and he replied that the call from Hyderabad was a false call from outbound center of ICICI Lombard.

    I accept my mistake that I took the policy just to enhance my CC limit, however my complaint is how could those people can ACCESS my CC Details which I have mentioned above. The reason I trusted the called was because he had my all the details. If you can check my previous transactions I have never ever made any default and so I thought you guys want to enhance my CC limit, but now I understood the entire game. I would take this very seriously and would also like to make a written complaint for floating my CC details and making false calls for selling the policies over the phone. This is completely unethical and won’t be tolerated.

    Below are the numbers from which I got the calls:

    I have cancelled the policy today itself REF: 40409443 and will bear a cancellation charge of Rs. 864 (I don’t know why should I bear this charge, after been cheated…). I would never ever like to trust the ICICI bank and its employ for any kind of further transactions.

    I would like to request you not to float my credit card details amongst your employs. I will definitely fight for cheating me.

    I have faced same problem but for migrating Gold card to Platinum and increasing credit limit.
    Dear Sir,


    I have applied for ICICI home loan shield policy for 20 years. It amounts to 42, 900 at the rate of 2.86% of the loan amount of 15 lakhs( As indicated in the ICICI LOMBARD Pamphlet for 20 years policy).A cheque(cheque no: 685527 dated in the month of september 2005) with amount Rs 42, 900 has been paid to ICICI Lombard in September 2005 through ICICI BANK . I have taken 15 lakh loan from ICICI bank for 20 years. As per the original statement told by ICICI Lombard executive at the time of home loan release it will be attached with ICICI home loan account. When I contacted ICICI Lombard relating policy last month, I felt astonished to find out the fact, policy is not created till now. ICICI Lombard executives( Siva Kumar, Sardma) confirmed orally this fact to me also they did not get the policy details in computer. I immediately asked to repayment the Rs 42, 900 rupees because the details of the policy number have not been communicated to me until today (around Four years). Even ICICI Bank also not been intimated any on this account policy so far. When I ask about this with ICICI Lombard officials asked for 11 working days period to get back to me.

    After 11 working days suddenly one SMS has come to me, they are going to return 8, 151 cheque. As there is no policy created, I wrote a mail to ICICI Lombard officials how they are going to return 8, 151 to me. I have contacted customer care (Sardma)and explained. They understood me and told that they represent same to their higher officials and comeback to me in another 11 working days, that time, they will come back with full details. I have represented the same in e-mail also. After 11 days, they come up with some policy and told me policy is already created, it is a five year policy. Your request it was already cancelled and the cheque balance amount is RS 8100. This is an absurd.


    Following questions are to be cleared in this regard.

    1) ICICI Lombard took 42, 900 in the year September 2005 for a 20 Years policy
    Till now they have not communicated any thing relating to policy. This lapse created doubt whether there may be misappropriation.

    2) I have paid around of Rs 16, 000 interest to ICICI bank against RS 42, 900 principal amount. The lapse in the part of ICICI Lombard is the cause o[censored]nnecessary loss to me.

    3) Will ICICI Lombard takes the amount and did not care about its customers?
    If no, why did not communicate the policy details till now. If ICICI Lombard takes care of customer interests, it should communicate the policy details by that time.


    5) When I raised a request to ICICI Lombard, Lombard officials agreed for checking the details from computer, Two officials(Shiva Kumar, Sardma) confirmed to me orally that no policy has been created so far .


    6)After some time Mr Sridhar j & team (Customer care Executive) have communicated to me, they have created a policy of 5 years span.

    7)How they can create 20 years policy as 5 years policy having received a premium amount of 42, 900 applicable to 20 years period, without intimating any written communication and obtaining my acceptance( in writing).

    8) If 5 year policy is created earlier why they did not send the same to my address at that time. This appears they have created some policy with anti date and cancelled the policy also without informing and obtaining written communication. When I requested for repayment of 42, 900, because of the lapse on the part of the Company, they have cancelled the policy.

    9)ICICI Lombard received the amount for 20 years from customer How executives created 5 years policy and on what basis?

    10)On what basis they have created 5 years policy? On what basis its amount is 42, 900? As per the ICICI Lombard if it is 5 years policy, its amount is different. How they blindly did the 5 year policy? If yes also, why did not communicate the policy at the time and return the remaining amount to customer and based on customer acceptance.

    This appears that ICICI Lombard officials cheated the customer directly.

    I request you to kindly interfere and instruct ICICI LOMBARD to arrange the amount of 42, 900 to me at the earliest and do the justice to me (I have already lost 16, 000 interest)

      Dear Sir,

      I had taken a car insurance policy from ICICI Lombard. my policy no. is 3001/W-159406/00/000. this policy expired on the 07.04.2009 and till date I am not able to renew the same.

      I have talked to their help line no.[protected] and spoke to following executives.

      I was told that my policy link is not updated and hence the policy could not be renewed.

      Today when I called their executive, he told me that the server is down and it will take some time.

      Still I am held up and can not bring my vehicle on road as the insurance is expired.

      ICICI Lombard General Insurance — Non-intimation of renewal

      I received your renewal noticeof Home Policy No.4013/116078/00/000dated 01 March, 2008.and I sent a cheque for Rs.883/- dated 2-4-2008 as my policy was to lapse on 19.4.2008 to your Bombay Office as desired in your renewal notice Interface Bldg. No.11, 401/402, 4th Floor New Link Road, Malad, Mumbai 400064.Inspite of my various telephones at your Bombay and Delhi Office no intimation has been given to me nor the cheque presented to my Bank.How sad?You initially told that somebody will come and visit me - alas nobody came.I am already 73 years, a senior citizen and facing this situation.I have to leave for Bombay to visit my daughter for about 15 days and hence my concern.         Dear Sir,

        I had booked a policy of Health Care from ICICI Bank on Feb. 2007. As per my communication with ICICI Lombard officer they told me after completion of two years of policy I can do shopping of Rs. 8500/-, If I cannot use it for any claim. My policy two years was completed in last month.

        As I discussed with ICICI Lombard officer in Mumbai before six month regarding cancellation of policy, they advice me pl continue your policy to get benefit of policy maturity. They told me the same think of Rs. 8500/- shopping after maturity. .

        But after maturity. no one can give a proper response when I call to call center. Now ICICI Lombard officer told there is non of policy will give such benefit after maturity..

        Actually all peoples are advice me before six month is that most of ICICI Lombard officer are miss guide to people.

        They deduct EMI from my credit card on voice confirmation only. My ICICI Credit card no is [protected] with monthly EMI was 458/- Rs.

        Pl advice me what can I do . I am trying to contact so many times to customer care but they advice me to give complaint on this site . Hope this will be resolve my problem

          This is with reference to my ICICI Lombard Family Plus Health insurance policy no. 4034/FPS/04095409/00/000.

          I had sent a medical hospitalisation claim no. BLC-01-09-CN-L01046 to TTK TPA office in Mumbai on[protected] with all documents for patient Named Amit G. Khandelwal vide Trackon courier docket no[protected].

          Then on[protected] i received a letter from your TTK TPA office that some additional documents where required and so i sent the additional documents on[protected] vide Trackon courier docket no[protected].


          Since then i am regularly contacting the toll free number [protected] in Mumbai and getting a reply that the claim is under final stage and gone to expert opinion and the result will be in 3 to 4 days. And till now after 60 days i am receiving the same message.

          In these 60 days there wasnt any official communication from your end regarding the claim and this is very poor customer service keeping in to mind the service of ICICI.

          I had sent a official letter on[protected] to TTK vide Trackon courier docket no[protected] requesting to settle the claim at the earliest. But still i havent received any reply from their end .

          I am feeling that i am cheated by enrolling for this policy. Their expert department seams to be careless about setteling the claim.

          Further i had sent a E-mail to TTK ( id no TTK CRM #125116) on[protected] and ICICI Lombard ( ID no
          'ICICILom=[protected]' ) on[protected].

          Also Intimated ICICI Lombard through their website on[protected] vide no.[protected] and again intimated their toll free no and also to their service manager Ms Preeti on[protected] and awaiting reply from ICICI and TTK TPA.

          Now i am waiting for the response and my further step will be to Intimate their Regional manager and forward my complaint to IRDA and even ready for consumer after that.

          I hope my issue will end here only. Awaiting any response from ICICI or TTK.

          If any any one suggest me that any chance i have to go to Consumer then who will be the culprit ICICI or TTK

            It is very unfortunate on your part as a part of ICICI LOMBARD Insurance company, that I am under going mental harassment due to failure of your employees in issuing the insurance policy for my tow wheeler payment of which is already been made on 27.03.09 @ 13.33 hrs. through Bank Of Baroda.

            This details were forwarded to [protected]@icicilombard.com I had a talk with customer support executive Mr. Pradeep, Miss. Madhu, Mr. Laxminarayan, Miss. komal & others. But stiil there is no favorable outcome.

            I had talk with Champa from Mumbai office but still there is no action on issue.

            I wonder that if you people are delaying so much in issuing the policy then how much delay will be there for claims if any.

            I was told that ICICI LOMBARD is one of the best insurance company but unfortunately that's not true on my part. I request you to have kind attention in this case and do the necessary.

            Due to this incident I'm suspending my other's insurance requirements which I was going to take from ICICI LOMBARD.

              fraud, unwillingly offered policy, need refund
              Sir, My policy nos. is 4034i/CHC/04561184/00/000, 4034i/CHC/04561183/00/000, 4034i/CHC/04561182/00/000, 4034i/CHC/04561181/00/000, 4034i/CHC/04561180/00/000 i was allotted the policy based on verbal proposal from icici lombard health insurance on 25 march 2009. No one approched for signature & confirmation.
              They started the procedure and debited Rs.29000/- from my icici bank credit card. even they had all the details of my credit card, i didn't reveal anything.
              Now, i have to pay Rs.1500/- every month till 2011(2yrs monthly installment).
              I want whole money returned and discontinue the policy.
              It is an act of fraud by "ICICI". First they offer credit card, then act as third party and levy charges on innocent public.

Now i am getting a sms that i have to pay 18000/ against the credit card due .used for icici lombard health insurance .

                An amount of Rs. 10, 510.35 has been deducted from my saving bank account through credit card ([protected]) link towards the ICICI Lombard policies which I never opted/accepted.

                When I came to know about this I conveyed my denial to accept any such policy/policies but with no action taken from ICICI Lombard.

                I have also emailed to [protected]@icicilombard.com on 20 Mar 2009 with subject as "Unauthorised access of my saving account by ICICI Lombard".
                Further I have emailed to [protected]@icicilombard.com on 25 Mar 2009 with subject “Cancellation of policies never sought and refund of money debited for these”.

                When I checked the details of policy/policies (4034/FPP/03967698/00/000 and 4034/FPP/03967699/00/000) thrusted on me illegally, I noticed it is a fraud and all the details narrated in that are false/incorrect.

                I also requested them to take immediate corrective action in the matter and refund my hard earned money snatched unauthorisedly from my saving bank account[protected] with ICICI bank.

                I also requested them to immediately cancel above policies issued (without my consent/acceptance) and linked to my above mentioned credit card.

                I informed my willingness to explain full details of the case in person also if a personal hearing is given to me immediately at one of their authorized center preferably in Gurgaon/Jaipur.

                I am yet to hear any positive communication from them.

                ICICI — ICICI credit card illegally debited money from my account

                Before couple of years I have blocked my ICICI credit card and while blocking that, I clearly enquired the customer care rep that there is NO outstanding dues on the card. However, now 11,000rs is debited from my account saying that I need to clear the ICICI credit card oustanding amount. That is a complete shock to me !!! After enquiry I realized that -
                * customer care rep has incorrectly mentioned me that there is NO outstanding dues.
                * There was an ECS payment (for 2,000rs) on the day before I cleared the credit card bill. I was under impression that I've cleared the ECS payment. However, customer care rep has incorrectly provided me info that there is no dues.
                * No one from ICICI dept has bothered to call me for these 2 years to mention about credit card bill..they said that they have been sending mails to my obsolete mail-id.
                * Than, all of a sudden, they have debited amount without any prior-intimation.
                * They are not ready for making any account settlement now - as they have already sucked my money from my savings bank.
                * No one from ICICI is bothered that I will close my ICICI savings account - as I feel that ICICI is not a safe bank for my savings bank..anyone can debit anytime. They are least bothered about customer satisfation, though I have
                ICICI bank are a real money suckers - they just want bussiness/money - not the customers though I have a very good old track record.

                ICICI — ICICI Lombard and ICICI credit card departments debited money illegally from my saving account

                Two to three years back I have taken ICICI credit card. Without my approval/agreement ICICI Lombard gave a policy on that credit card in 2007 and started charging monthly on the credit card. The credit card number is [protected]. I didn’t even know they have started the policy on credit card, unless I saw my credit card bills.

                I do not even know the policy number also I did not receive any papers from ICICI Lombard. I have called at least 6 times to ICICI credit card department and ICICI Lombard people asking for clarification and revert back the amount. Both have blamed the other department and they have never worked on it.

                I have even asked for cancellation of the policy, which they have been charging to my card, but they have said that we need to pay the full amount for the policy, which we never asked for. This is really absurd, paying for full amount for the policy which I never asked for. Because of this I even stopped using ICICI credit card.

                In few months, the amount on credit card reached 10 thousand with late payment charges. Still both departments have not taken any action. Roughly every month, I got a call from ICICI credit card department for payment. Every time, I used to ask them for clarification on the policy. No one has taken any actions.

                Yesterday (04/03/2010), suddenly 10,088.18 got debited from the savings/salary account (account number:[protected] to ICICI credit card towards the same ICICI Lombard policy. There is no intimation about the same. It’s really shocking to see someone can deduct amount from our savings account without our consent.

                How can ICICI bank allow some other ICICI department people to do transactions without intimating? How can they access it at the first place. This creates a doubt that ICICI bank is not safe to keep money. Any department in ICICI can access and debit money without your knowledge.

                I called, ICICI bank account department. They did not answer how other departments could access my savings account. I called ICICI credit card department. They mentioned, they can access my savings account but they can not contact ICICI Lombard.

                From morning, ICICI Lombard toll free number [protected] is busy to answer by calls. I am opening a complaint in ICICI Lombard web site today regarding this.

                All the departments in ICICI bank are playing with customer money and stealing it.
                It’s really a shocking and shameful example of big branded bank like ICICI bank, with its sole motive to expand and grow at the cost of people's money. It also raises a big question on the security of human rights. In country like India, were we boast about individual's security, we find the big banks looting us and there is nothing done in this regard. Its not only me, I have found many other similar cases of fraud cases launched against ICICI Lombard in internet. Will there be any end to these? Should these banks be still given licenses to operate in our country? Could we at any stage feel secure?

                  I have filed the claim of the car Hyundai i10 from ICICI Lombard bank on 20/02/2009. I have claimed total loss of my vehicle (UP 32, CR-2601)

                  Till today date I have not yet received any claim no . Around one month is passing by and till now no processing has been done. The insurance was done on the value of Rs 3.91 lakh.
                  We bought the car from SAS Hyundai, Sarojini Nagar, Lucknow. They have submitted the estimate of Rs 3.18 Lakh. But we are still waiting for the processing from the Insurance side.

                    I have two health policies with ICICI bank, namely -
                    1) In a joint name (myself and husband) which has been paid for on December 19, 2008.
                    Policy no:

                    2) In the name of my mother (Mrs. Achla Butalia) paid for in December 2008.

                    However, I have not received the policy documents in original or cashless cards inspite of several calls and reminders to ICICI Lombard.

                    The manager concerned whom i contacted was Amit Malviya who sent me the copy of the policy on assistance since the same needed to be submitted for filling returns.

                    However, the cashless cards or the original documents have not yet been received at my end since past 3 months.
                    The policy no on the scanned copies sent is as follows :-
                    (A) Insured: Achla Butalia -4034/CHC/04301462/00/000

                    I purchased an online car policy for my old car of 2003 make which was due for renewal within 2 days. First of all the policy cover note which normally can be printed in pdf format instantly, I got it after a week after expiring of my due date.
                    Then the policy I recd had a mistake of C-C (cubic capacity). Actual being 1697 and the policy paper showed 999. When I asked to resolve the matter online I was asked to go to the branch. However in the branch also no one was able to resolve it instantly and after 2 days they asked me to pay an extra amount (nearly double of the premium) for the c-c correction which is even more then my previous year premium (considering 50% NCB). I was surprised to hear this as this is not my problem, because the customer is not filling these (C-C) details on the website, infect the customer is selecting only the model no. I told them when this is your system generated problem why I should be charged for that. Even for the cancellation also I was asked to pay the whole service tax plus the premium on prorate basis.
                    I am surprised why I should pay the whole service tax for such a poor service.
                    Initially the company is luring the customers with low premiums and keep some open points and when a claim is made they can show the errors in the policy.

                      This is to inform you that i mr jagdish sunder salian policy holder of icici Lombard general insurance for my vehicle maruti swift desire policy no:3001/54207523/00/000, veh reg no MH-04 DR 5410.ENG NO 25643 CHS NO 24098.
                      i had purchased this car from sub dsa siddhivinayak motors for which i applied a car loan from ICICI BANK LTD.which is disbursed on date 31/05/2008 .for that purpose i need insurance for disbursement.so i issued a new cover note of Icici Lombard general insurance co ltd.so insurance has been started from 07/06/2008 to 06/06/2009.
                      The reason is the i got the delivery of the car on 10/09/2008 reason showroom said there is a waiting on swift dezire vdi so I requested to icici lombard Sales Manager - Motor Vertical of thane area of sion office Mr.KARTHIKEYAN SHANMUGHAM /MOTOR/LOMBARD/SION (karthikeyan.[protected]@icicilombard.com) my policy should start from delivery date the officer given me assurance of the same my policy will effect from the date of delivery but later after 2-3 months the officer (Mr.KARTHIKEYAN SHANMUGHAM) her rejected the same.why should i pay for 3 months when car is not with me so.so i need effective date of my policy from the date of delivery else i need my 3 months premium back from icici Lombard general insurance co ltd.so i request people out there look after this issue kindly solve this problem .Thanking you

                      ICICI Lombard General Insurance Co. Ltd — Vehicle Insurance Policy

                      Policy Details are as follows -
                      cover note no. e-PD3014738.
                      Vehicle no. DL 9C J 6543

                      Policy was issued in Sept 07.
                      I had to apply for a claim in July 08. The vehicle was kept waiting for survey in workshop for 3 days.
                      Finally, after lot of requests i was asked to move the vehicle to the workshop of surveyor's choice. I refused and after lot of arguement he agreed to survey it. He approved the repair works only partly. Once the work was done, ICICI lombard has backed out and is not willing to pay for it. They are asking me to pay Rs 2000 (which is almost the same as cost of repair) and take the car.

                        I Shobhit Saxena, s/o Mr. Alok Saxena who was having a credit card account
                        with ICICI bank
                        A/C no. - [protected].
                        The credit card account was opened by some unknown agent sent by bank
                        authorities.
                        In one month of opening the account we received a Health insurance policy
                        on the name of my father...which was never asked for. We thought it to be
                        some mishap...but in due time after around 25 days we received the
                        insurance policies for all my family including myself and my sister. The
                        policy details are:

                        My father is a Govt. employee and he receives all his medi-claims easily
                        so there was no need for these policies and my father never requested for
                        this.
                        When we went for cancellation of these policies on 1/8/08 the costumer care
                        executive charged an amount of around 15, 000Rs. and it was automatically
                        debited from my father''s credit card account after we requested for
                        cancellation of the policies.

                        But the question i want to ask is why I was charged for these policies. Is
                        this the benefit what a credit card account in ICICI bank gives to its
                        customers?
                        15 thousand rupees is not a small sum for a middle class person. They open
                        the policies without the knowledge or signature from the costumers and
                        then if they are stuck with it and try to cancel it...then they charge
                        them with such amounts.

                        My father is being charged for these policies without his need. And now on
                        cancellation he was charged 15 thousand bucks.

                        These policies was formulated on phone only with oral agreement from my
                        father. I wish to notify u that my father is an old man who is unaware of
                        all these phone banking and other things. And it was never mentioned while
                        opening these policies that if we cancel them then also we have to pay
                        this large amount of
                        money.

                        The policies were useless in there job as when my sister fell ill, the
                        hospital authorities denied these policies. I wish to make it clear that
                        this
                        was a hospital metioned in the banks list.
                        But we had to pay for her medical expenses.
                        And when we went to cancel these useless policies they charged us with
                        more than 15, 000 rupees.

                        The interaction i had with the bank about these policies was Interaction

                        I would like to mention that these type of policies are a menace as they
                        are useless in nature and just formulated to drain the money o[censored]naware
                        individuals.



                        Consequences : 1: More than 15, 000 rupees taken at the time of closing the
                        credit card account

                        2: policy money what we paid earlier

                        3: Mental pressure faced to arrange for money during my sister''s
                        operation

                        4: time wasted in negotiation with the bank

                          The Worst ever General Insurance Company-------ICICI LOMBARD GENERAL INSURANCE COMPANY we met in our life.The fraud and fake representatives sitting there in the name of Private Insurance co.talking more doing less, degrading the Image of other private Insurance Companies, just grabbing the hard earned money of people in name of Quality services...making fool of ours for more then One year that your complaint has been processed and the amount will be refunded soon.But after 1.5 yrs. the Company says our amount could not be refunded ...why ?They says amount could not be carry over in Marine Insurance policy like in The Oriental Insurance Company and other National general Insuarance Companies, ...then what is the benefit of Private Insurance Companies.
                          Go hell with their services and Company...We just fed up of all theirs worst services and quality.. All the very BAD LUCK to ICICI LOMBARD GENERAL INSURANCE COMPANY

They always say that I should get some answer in 2 days. This way I have lost another 1 month and still I am not getting any positive reply.

                            My Policy Number is 4063/FHR/0350/1602/00/0000

                            I have made 3 claims related to my Heart Problem followed by Angiography and Bypass Surgery to TTK Health Services who the TPA of ICICI Lombard Health Insurance.

                            Please note that my claim numbers are as follows

                            Please note that I received a letter from TTK saying that there was some shortfall of documents in one of the claims. The documents requested in the letter were not at all originally required, but still I provided all the necessary documents hoping for some positive action from them. They received my shortfall documents on 29th Jan 2009 and told me that it takes 7 working days to process those documents. I waited till 6th Feb and then starting from 7th Feb I have been calling them every alternate day and they tell me that the documents are under process. They always say that I should get some answer in 2 days. This way I have lost another 1 month and still I am not getting any positive reply.

                            I have applied for re-imbursement for my hospitalization and treatment undergone at Vijaya health center chennai from 23/12/2008 to 26/12/2008.

I confirmed the same with TTK mumbai people and they told me that it will take 7 working days to process those documents.                             Customer support vide ref.No.[protected] for
                            clearance of claim payment request also taking
                            abnormal time but results are yet to knock our doors.
                            Now, Insurance Ombudsman advised me to knock at
                            the Grievances cell of ICICI Lombard as a last chance. These are the problems purchased by me
                            by paying money to ICICI Lombard co. in the name
                            of Insurance Policy. Please help me to come our of
                            this unfair design and send me a positive reply to my

                              I am Amol Debadwar. I have taken ICICI Lombard health policy in december 2008.
                              Policy started in 30 Dec 2008. But i have not received any policy document. After calling so many times,
                              they have sent policy on my mail id but not a hard copy of it.
                              I have received a sms on 4 march 2009 that they dispatched the hard copy through Express IT courier on 26 feb 2009 (POD[protected]. But still i have not receiced it. When i contacted to to ICICI Lombard Customer care, i got the reply that they dont have express courier contact no.
                              So how they have dispatched the policy? Also i dont ahve contact no of that courier so taht i can track where my policy got stuck?
                              Plz help me out.

                              This is exactly what happened with me it's been five months and i have not yet received a copy neither have i recieved the health insurance cashless cards for me and my family. They told me the same thing that they have despatched the policy through Express IT couriers and it's been 3 months the courier is still delivering the policy..

                                  I have taken a mediclaim policy for my mother in Jan 2007. Now my mother became ill and was hospitalized. When I went for the claim from ICICI Lombard mediclaim with all genuine reason. They have denied for the payment telling me that it is a pre existing sickness. But they have never disclosed about this type of tactics for non payment of claims before the insurance was taken. After receiving the insurance premium they have sent a very fat booklet with various clauses for non settlement of claims so that every one fits some where in the agreement and they will refuse the mediclaim. The same has happenned with me as well. This is regarding the claim submitted for Policy No: 4034/CHC/0324/7031/00/000 ON 20/02/09.

                                  We met with the exact same case today. Had our case rejected for 'pre-existing condition of diabetes'. ICICI Lombard is cheating hardworking Indian citizens. Hard to believe that a name such as ICICI indulges in such low looting behaviour. I vow to exercise all the effort I can to bring justice to my family and also to make sure they think twice about cheating people like this in the future.

                                    The reason behind this mail to convey my issues and to tell everyone how frustrating it is evenafter being nice and paying money and also you struggle with some irresponsible peoples.

                                    I am a customer of icici home loans for past 3 yrs with clear track records of repayment and I came to India for my exams and wanted to enroll my home loan insurance with icici lombard and I was trying hard to complete this work for the past 8 months with all calls, followups for documents, cheques issue and so on and on and on and now I am back to new york and still it is ongoing for two months.

                                    ICICI Lombard executive Mr Nandagopal ( nandagopal.[protected]@icicilombard.com) got the docs from me before 8 months and he got from me 3 canara bank cheque leafs and lost those leafs. I struggled hard and stopped those cheques by spending 166 Rs and lot of my time which is irritating.

                                    Again he asked if I have any icici a/c and inspite of me telling him that this account is closed long back, he got those leafs saying it is for dummy usage for process.

                                    I have not received any docs and there was no replies and even after lots of followup I was able to be on a conf call where literally Mr.NandaGopal and his Manager Shankar ( v.[protected]@icicilombard.com) was fighting on the call.

                                    I thought atleast Shankar will help and now he is also not responding for my emails or calls.

                                    Now atlast what I have got from icici is ?????a name as defaulter for the mistakes o[censored]r executives saying two month of insurance amount is not paid and ICICI is sending their Executives. This useless guys have enrolled my ECS on an account that was closed before two years and blame me for cheques getting bounced.

                                    My long mail is all my frustration and I hope there is atleast one responsible offical to hear the words of a customer wasting all his money on International calls and troubles and time waste.

                                    All the cause for this issue is your representative Mr Nandagopal and his manager Shankar. They are not ready to respond any of the call and emails now ...This is the limit for any customer and I am never gonna stop until someone responds and I will literally screw your name in the market with all blogs and sites if there is no answer.

                                      I have submitted the documents for claim in Nov 08 after confirming the required documents from TTK help line, after one & half month i.e.22nd Dec 08. I received a letter for short of documents, I was surprised, but again I submitted the required documents on 25th Dec. After regular follow-up, it took a month for settlement and 28th Jan, the check was dispatched to me (as per TTK Help Line). Till now I have not received any chq. I have also confirmed with Professional currier (Mr. Umesh[protected] J. B. Nagar Branch), they told me that the check is returned to TTK on 2nd of Feb. and now at TTK no one is answerable for the same daily I am following up with them and receiving the same answer that “they will confirm with the currier fellow and pls call tomorrow”, I am wondering that when this tomorrow will come.

                                        My wife Mrs.T.M.Sunitha, underwent appendicitis operation and for her medical claim, we have submitted all the relevant medical reports, scanning, x ray, , blood test report, discharge report along with the medical bills of Rs.27, 8500/- on 01/11/2008 at TTK office in Coimbatore branch which was checked, acknowledged and documents were accepted and sent to TTK main office in Marol, Mumbai.As we have not received any information and hence after waiting for 10 days, we have contacted TTK office and on 13/11/2008 we have received letter from TTK office that we have to submitt Histopath Report and we have been asked to submitt the report.
                                        We have submitted histopath report also but on on 12/12/2008 I have received message on my mobile that "Your health claim no. BLC-11-08-CN-L31891 has been closed due to non-receipt of documents."
                                        Even after submitting all the reports and getting acknowledgement through their branch office in Coimbatore our claim has been rejected which is totally unfair to us.
                                        On one hand ICICI Lambard assures their customer for best service and on other hand they made us to run after them.

                                        Also,

                                        I have attched the below communications those have been sent to ICIC LOMBARD but as usual a standard reply has been given to us in this regard. We are the service holder and deposite the money with such insurance company so that it will be helpful for future in case of any problem but this is false as ICIC Lombard earns money from such citizens like us and run their business and there is no body to ask them. We have already lost the faith on ICICI LOMBARD. It's pathetic that such cheating is happening here where the ICICI Bank claims themselves to be best in service.

                                        ICICI Lombard Insurance — NON RECEIPT OF INSURANCE DOCUMENTS AND IRRESPONSIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

                                        Dear Sir,

                                        I have opted health policy from the ICICI Lombard two yaers back. When the renewal is taken place, I have received numerous phone calls for renew the same.I have given the confirmation thro phone with following condition.

                                        1. On receipt of the premium, Payment receipt has to be furnished immediately.

                                        2.The policy documents should reach me within 11 working days.

                                        3.Failing of the above, Full payment has to be refunded without deducting any cancellation charges.

                                        The policy has been renewed on 30th Dec-08 and payment has been debited from my bank account on 2nd Jan-09. I have waited till 10th of this month and contacted their customer service for requesting the policy documents and payment receipt. They have assured me that within 24 Hrs time the documents will be sent thro my email ID.
                                        Even after said 24 hrs no mail has come and again i have contacted them and there was no proper answer from them and i have waited more than 1 hr on the line itself . It has happened repeatedly more than 10 times. Till date i havnt received the same.

                                        In between i have received N no of calls from them for again renewal of policy.They wanted to pay the premium once again.

                                        I am totally frustrated with their service and i want to get back my money fully.

                                        During the year 2008 I took ICICI Lombard health policy to my family. The policy number is 4034/BPP/03394695/00/000 and the date of expiry was 23-Mar-09. Mean while I got it renewed for the year 2009 by paying Rs.12570 from my AXIS Bank credit card on 07-Mar-09.But I did not receieve my policy copy and the health cards. I contacted over phone and I was inforemed that the soft copy of the same wil;l be sent to my e-mail with in 24 hrs. and I can take a print out of the same. Accordingly I receieved mail but the policy details are in machine language and nothing can be read. hence I request you to send the Policy copy and the health card to my address mentioned below at the earliest.

                                        ICICI Lombard Health Insurance — Claim Not Settled.

                                        My Policy No:4034/FFN/00956728/00/000.Claim No:BLC-11-06-CN-L 13378 Amount Rs.40514.97...The above claim is pending Since Dec 2006.Inspite of submitting all
                                        relevant papers they have not yet settled my insurance claim.Whenever I remind
                                        they say it is under pending status.

                                        your customer care officers does not even know why this delay happened.

                                        1) The document has been received and under process for 10 working days
                                        2) The document has been approved and it will be sent within 3 working days
                                        3) The document is sent thro this courier and the ref or pod number of the courier
                                        But now - a - days i dont even receive a single sms, each time i have to waste my
                                        time in calling your customer care officer and their response is vey poor

                                        I had a car Accident on 28 aug 2010 and submitted the hospitalisation expenses on 18 sept through courier. confirm with them that they have recieved all the document, again and again they raised a query document not recieved. Than I submitted the xerox copy and again same query are raised.

                                        it seems to me that they do not want to settle the claim, request number raised will never get attended or called by them, always ask for 2 days and take away months .

                                        I had a bad experience with ICICI lombard and will filing case against the company.
