ICICI Lombard managers written commitment too can not be trusted . I doubt if written mail from CEO of Lombard should be trusted or not. Here is what they write . It is just a mistake. ICICI Lombard should have corrected this before of after taking premium of 36034/- After 1 yr 9 months when claim is to be given wakes up Company not trustworthy This is what the write " Dear Sir, We write this with reference to your concerns registered with IRDAI vide token number[protected]. As per our telephonic conversation held today, we have reviewed your concerns with our senior U/W team and wish to inform you that as per policy terms and conditions if the policy is renewed for an enhanced Annual Sum Insured, then fresh waiting period will be applicable to this enhanced limit from the effective date of such enhancement. Hence we wish to inform you that there is waiting period of 2 years for policy number 4128I/IHR/86021890/03/000 on enhanced Sum Insured which will lapse on December 25, 2018. Further we regret the inconvenience caused to you due to incorrect information provided from our end and also would like to assure you that we have taken internal measures to avoid such instances in future."
