IDBI Bank — atm did not dispense money and my money never returned. idbi atm fault | |||
Date of withdrawal: 16-mar-2019, at evening Atm bank: idbi, sector-14 Debit card related to : citibank Amount withdrawn: 2500 Sequence of event: Used atm to withdraw inr2500 Entered the pin and machine made lots of noices of counting money etc. But the cash dipencer did not open at all I waited in that atm for 5 mins to check if cash will dispense but nothing happened. There was no guard in the atm premises I came outside the atm and called citibank They provisionally credited back the amount inr 2500 subject to investigation Received a call from citibank approx after a week or so that in investogation idbi bank has presented their machin's reading and it says that the cash was dipensed. I mentioned to citibank customer care represntative to ask for the cctv footage as no cash was dispensed. I also asled them to check for log of maitennace of the atm as it was not working so somebody must have gone to make it functional again. Representative said that per sebi bank can refuse to provide the cctv footage, they do not obligate for the same but still he will try. After that i got this email that the investigation shows cash was dispensed and as a prrof they provided this electron generated Amout was debited again from my bank account with 2500 and i dint receive my cash back.
