I bought IDBI deep discount bond, in year 1995, for intent of exercising it after completion of the term of 25 years, when face value will be 2 Lac.
Here are the details of Bond
- Bought in year 1995
- In the Primary name of Prakhar Bhatnagar
- Issue price Rs. 5000
- Maturity face value mentioned on bond is 2 Lac (Year 2021)
I was out of country when IDBI exercised the bonds, I did not receive any communication as I was not in country and also not seen any advt in news media. So basically I did not approve any document to give my permission. When I recently visited their office I came to know, bonds are already exercised by IDBI with maturity value of 10000 and you will get Rs. 17000 only if you furnish all documentation.
