Seller is having a property @ sec 137, paramount floraville, bluebells tower, unit no 1005 against which she has a loan with idbi bank.in order to buy the property it was mutually agreed between seller & buyer, for buyer to take over the existing loan.
The documentation for take over of the loan was done on 6th aug 2018, where as the sanction letter for the buyer was approved on 21 aug 2018. During this process as informed by idbi team @ lajpat nagar / nehru place, the property papers of above mentioned premises will be couriered back the delhi branch with in 15 days in order to complete the process of the loan transfer & hence endorsement of the premises in buyer's name.
As of now it is more than a month, & both the parties, buyer & seller despite repeated follow ups on phone & various visits @ the mentioned branches have no clue for the delay in courier of property papers from mumbai to delhi.
The worst part is during each visit & phone conversation we are informed that even the bank officials do not know the reason for delay, which is a surprise. They try to call someone in order to retrieve information & for some reason no one answers their phone on the other side.
This has been the worst banking experience ever. Idbi for us was like any other nationalized bank committed to meet the consumer requirements. After this experience i have lost my trust on the bank. I am worried taking into consideration that as & when this entire fiasco is over i would have to deal with this bank for another 20 yrs of my loan tenure.
Also fyi, your team which comes for visit for verification is very upfront in asking for money in order to expedite the process & approvals. Is it maybe for the fact i did not pay them even a single penny, that there is such unrealistic delay in the process.
In this entire fiasco, i would not only be suffering monetary loss but also entire delay has left me mentally disturbed. Because of this delay i will have to move to a rented house for which i am sure idbi bank would be least bothered. The extra rental & security deposit that will be paid was absolutely unnecessary & is only being paid because of delay from idbi bank.
IDBI Bank customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
