Reg: Lost of my Debit Card and not blocked when informed by IDBI Bank

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am VIPUL VERMA have an account with IDBI Bank, A/c No. [protected], Branch-Jaipur Road , AJMER had lost/stolen my ATM Debit Card No. [protected].

My Last transaction was ICICI Bank ATM at Noida, date-6.2.2010, time arround 7.30 pm and our available Balance is Rs.28927.26

There after I have informed to IDBI Bank through e-mail on Saturday, February 06, 2010 11:09 PM that Card stolen today in Delhi Metro, Please Block Debit card No.[protected] and oblige.

There after checking of my account at IDBI bank, Ajmer Branch at 10am on 8.2.10,
I astonished to know that my lost Debid card used by Rs.12794.10, although I had informed to block my card on 6.2.10 11:09 PM to the bank.

On Mon, 8.2.10 at 10.15am I again requested to IDBI Bank and then they blocked my card.

you people havn't block the card till monday morning and Appx.Rs.12000.00 stolen through swipe with same card from our account form Saturday night of 6.2.10 to monday morning 8.2.10.
After checking our account on monday morning we again requested through net banking then only the card blocked.
Please credit our stolen money in our A/c No. [protected] SPACE CREATORS, AJMER as we requsted you online at the same time on saturday 6.2.10.

This is to inform you that i lost my debit cards. As i am not in my premises, so i don't have any details like card nos, a/c no against mine as Sabita Dey.All the IDBI savings a/c belongs to the specific branch of Dumdum Cantonment, kolkata, west bengal. At present, i am not at my premises, DumDum, Kolkata but at my sister's house at salt lake City, karunamoyee housing estate, salt lake city, Kolkata-700091. Will return home at the next morning and will visit your branch today at the earliest.

I need the immediate action for blocking the issued debit atm card against Sabita Dey and please stop the each and cancell every atm transaction and anything as purchasing using the IDBI cards from yesterday as today only i found that i have lost the cards untill the new cards would be issued after blocking those lost cards on urgent priority.

I have the honour to request you to immediately block the cards and dispatch new debit cards asap which will oblige me and my family.

    I opted for a loan from IDBI bank and applied on 13Jan10.

    The bank was delaying my processing even after the fact that all my documents and relevant details were up-to-date.

    My legal and technicals documents were received earlier by the bank. Everything was clear.

    When the day came when I was promised disbursal, the officials at IDBI BANK RAC CENTRE at KANDIVALI(MUMBAI) made a mandatory statement to avail the IDBI FORTIS HOMESURANCE and BAJAJ ALLIANCE INSURANCE. Without which the bank was not disbursing my pay order.

    According to the rule, a service can be offered but shall not be mandatory.

    I have received the pay order but after so many disruptions.

    IDBI FORTIS — Non payment of insured amount

    My husband Late Shri Mahender Kmar, Poicy NO. [protected] ( claim no. 37) isnured by your company. With reference to your letter dated 15 June 2009, your company informed that the claim is under process. Today your agent informed that my claim was not rejected as my husband was expired due to illness. The reply of agent is not conveniencing. Sir Pleas help after the dealth of my husband every body has turned his face.

    dear sir,
    i have account in maharashtra bank and i had applied for atm card in april 2009 and i got my atm card at 12-june-2009 but i did not received pin no. of atm card yet.i told about it to the branch manager.but he told me that he was not responsible at all.then i told about it to their card cell.they told me that they had sent it and i[censored] still did not get it then you should tell to the branch.then i went to the regional office.they told me that i should open a new account.
    kindly tell me what should i do?i need atm card so much.but they are not giving it to me.the branch manager is very rude.

    IDBI — Loan

    I have opted Educational loan from United western Bank which is acquired by IDBI in 2006.After acquistion I asked for loan statement IDBI unable to provide me the same till 2009.They forwarded my name in CBILL.Now I have repaid my all outstanding.Pl clet know how to check if my name is still reflecting in CBILL?
    I opted for a loan from IDBI bank and applied on 5th Feb.10.

    When i enquired regarding sanctioning of it they asked that the organisation in which you work is construction industry so we are not giving loan to those ones.

    But my collegues are already taken loan from the same idbi bank then why this new rule for me only...Pls reply...

    maharashtra bank — Delaying of ATM Card

    Respected Sir,
    My name is nilesh mudafale My account no is [protected] at Nagpur of mirchi bazar itwari i had lost my ATM card 6 month ago I have re apply for second time at that time. I have visited to bank for several time for atm card but no action was taken please take action as quickly as possible Thanks.
    I opted for IDBI loan from Delhi Lajpat nagar branch. My loan a/c no is [protected]. Bank has sanctioned a loan of Rs 37 lac on 9% ROI. WHILE TAKING LOAN THE BANK REPRESETATIVE TOLD ME THAT WHEN YOU WILL RESTRICT YOUR LOAN THE roi SLAB WILL BE CHARGED AS THE AMOUNT YOU WILL RESTRICT. When I restricted my loan 15 days after sanction to Rs 17.94 lac bank has refused to reduce my ROI from 9% to 8.75% applicable for this slab.
    Bank has not shown me any written rules inspite of repeated requests which justify the banks decision.
    I want that bank should immediately reduce my intertest rate or show me the rule book.

    I am facing the same dilemma as Mr. Jugal.
    Is there a way to opt out of the HOMEINSURANCE thing to get the disbursal? The IDBI Agent seems to be claiming that it is "mandatory" and cant be opted out.

    Also Jugal's last statement seems to say that he's finally managed to get the disbursement without opting for the insurance...

    I was able to resolve my issues on the similar lines as Jugal. Had to do a little head-banging with their staff members and exachange a few hot-headed e-mails to get this resolved.
    I now, dont have the Fortis Insurance attached to my loan.

    IDBI Bank — delay in services

    I, Nisha Rani had requested for my account activation (in my net banking scheme) since 20 days, despite my efforts of chasing the officers of the Powai branch( where my account is held) there has been no progress for the same. Instead I have just been receiving the false promise of 24 hr activation for 3 times consecutively in a week. I would therefore request you to please take strict action for the same as it is causing me great inconvience.
    when contacted the relationship manager, accounts opening officer and an officer named Chirag for the same they have simply failed to deliver what they said and I am really disappointed.Please help.

    I opted for a loan from IDBI bank for Exotica Elegance Indirapuram society (Home loan account number [protected]) and applied on 1st week of April 2010.

    The bank was delaying my processing even after the fact that all my documents and relevant details were up-to-date. My legal and technical documents were received earlier by the bank. Everything was clear.

    I had filled up the Home loan form (50-60 signatures) firstly and then after 8-10 days came to know there was some cutting done by the bank in this form so the idbi agent again asked me to refill and sign that form, due to which there was a delay in loan processing..

    At the last moment I got call from the official at IDBI BANK Delhi making a mandatory statement to avail the IDBI FORTIS HOMESURANCE. Without which the bank was not disbursing my pay order. Even though I agreed to take the insurance same day, still the builder received the amount well after the deadline, as a result he has imposed a late payment penalty on me...

    Whatever documents were asked from me by the bank agent I gave him the same within 2-3 days but still the loan got late by 1.5 months..I kept on pushing the bank aganet for quickening by loan disbursement by he kept saying there is no problem...

    I am trying to catch the IDBI bank executive Mukesh but no success...

    I am planning to go to consumer court against IDBI bank..
    Anyone gone through this issue please reply...

    I have got IDBI top-up loan over my existing home loan, while taking top up loan at last stage the bank representative have told me that I must get the home loan Insurance, as I didn't know the bank rules so far and I was in great need of money I accepted the same an IMI of 1130 rs towards insurance has become additional to my top-up loan EMI... bank has not cleared these thing to me in time and kept me in dark and when there was delay and they understood my urgency I had to accept the same. later when I got the information form such forum and some more friends the insurance is something bank can offer but is not mandatory...When I approached to the bank so called manager he replied that now it is not possible to make any changes in the system as Insurance is already added...Due to this I have to pay Rs.1130 every month unnecessarily...

    can anybody tell me, How I can get rid of this IDBI bank insurance nonsense...

      I have purchased some Mutual Funds through IDBI paisabuilder. My login ID is "RAJAT666". The NAV shown under the scheme "Pru ICICI Tax Plan Fund" is wrongly mentioned, as I am holding the growth option and the one mentioned is for Dividend option. The issue is pending from last 6 months and despite of my repeated calls and mails, the error has not been rectified. What I fail to understand is that why is it not being resolved and why the customer care people dont even give a reference number for my complaint. Even on repeatedly asking for a complaint reference number, I was not given the same.

      I would request you to take up the issue with the company for an early resolution.

            21/11/2009 IDBI BANK 540353 8,273.00

            Almost 55 days ago I had applied for a home loan, which was cancelled on the very fifth day. But without informing me anything e.g. loan amount sanctioned, amount to be deducted for processing fees. your officer has deducted abovementioed amount. I am trying to get it back since last 50 days.
            You can see from the trailing mails that i have written to almost all officers of your homeloan subsidiary, but nobody is ready to help me except one lady officer who told me to contact you.

            Please arrange to do the needful at the earliest.

            Good evening to you all.
            Very poor services of your employees or agents has compelled me to write this letter which is highly regretted.
            In first week of current month I recd. a call from Mr. Nirakar Sahoo for home loan. He told me that our bank will give you home loan of Rs.15 lakhs in five days. So I submitted all my papers with a cheque on 13.11.09, Friday evening. >From 16.11.09, Monady. First day of my home loan processing started.
            On 19.11.09, Thursday (Fourth day), I called Mr. Sahu, he told me that
            (1) He will inform me the amount of loan sanctioned by evening of 21.11.09,(Saturday),
            (2) It will take 7 to 10 more days to complete full job,
            (3) I will have to pay 2 % service charge i.e. Rs.30000 over and above processing fees.
            I immediately told him that I cant afford Rs.30000 and I will let you know my decision tomorrow, i.e. on 20.11.09 (Friday).
            I had to cancel this loan due to two reasons: (A) I was not aware of your service charges of Rs.30000, normally some banks charge 0.5 % processing fees and some banks have zero charges. (B) Initially he told me that it will be done in 5 days and on fourth day he told me that it will take 7 to 10 days more !!!
            So on 20.11.09 (Friday) morning at about 10 am I informed him to please cancel my loan application and send back my papers with my cheque.
            Very very surprisingly, on 21.11.09 (Saturday) everything was done very swiftly. Instead of cancelling my loan application, your officers did the following just to harass me.
            1. Call from your officer for loan, I clearly told him that yesterday I have already informed Mr.Sahu to cancel this application.
            2. Though above was told, immediately Rs.8273 was deducted from my bank account.
            3. At about 3 pm a verification call from a lady, I clearly told her no.
            4. An officer visited my house at 6 pm, here also I told him no. for my loan.
            So after all this I informed Mr. Sahoo, he told me that nothing to worry, refund will be given to you and papers will be sent back on Monday 23.11.09 evening. Again Monday evening I called him, he told me that papers will be sent tomorrow evening. Yesterday also papers did not come and today morning he has written me mail (below attached).
            Lastly I thank all officers and IDBI bank management for taking time for my loan.
            I request you to refund my Rs.8273 at the earliest.

            IDBI Bank/Home Loan — Refund of processing fees...

            I had applied for an housing loan with IDBI Bank. I had plans of buying a plot in Bangalore, the plot comes under the gram tana jurisdiction. I had submitted all the documents along with the processing fees of Rs. 5600/-. In the process, the bank decided that they would not fund gram tana sites (plots).
            When that was the case, I wanted the bank to repay the processing fees that I have already paid. They banks says that the processing fee as per procedure is not refundable.

            Please help me in this regard

            IDBI Home Finance Limited — Home Loan processing fee not refunded after refused to give loan

            I have been applied for Home Loan in IDBI home finance limited. They have processed and charged me Rs 12921 as a processing fees and gave me sanction letter. Till this time everything is good but after that they started to pin out queries in legal documents Also they had told to do correction in agreement as their was some legal problem in that so I did agreement again it was cost on me Rs. 2500. but it is also not enough for them again they asked to give indemnity bond on name of me and proprietor. After giving this all things at last they denied to give loan gave reason that property not approved . after that they promised to give back all processing fees but now they are not willing to give processing fees also. During this period I lost more than 4 months. Please help me in this matter.

              Dear Sir & madam,

              I applied for a car loan from IDBI Bank in the second week of December 2009 from IDBI Bank, Vivek Vihar, Delhi branch for Maruti Wagon R (LXi version). The Bank issued a sanction letter on 29th December 2009 where they approved a loan of Rs. 2.65 Lakh. To get car on time I had submitted the sanction letter at the dealership and also to hold my car as there was a shortage going on due to the heavy discount of of Rs. 45000 in December 09 end. The dealer hold my car for liked color upon my request on the basis of sanction letter issued by IDBI bank. The Bank asked me to deposit an amount of Rs. 3300/- as processing fee for loan to get the sanctioned amount cheque the next day. The said amount I deposited at the branch only in cash. The next day when I visited Bank they informed me that the car loan I applied has been rejected because of two reasons firstly my mom defaulted in a home loan and secondly I defaulted in my two wheeler loan. Both of the loans got over in due time and there was no default at all. During my another visit to branch I submitted the NOC with other supporting documents that neither my mother or I defaulted in any loan.

              The amazing fact is when the sanction letter is issued why a rejection. Most of the dealership give the delivery of vehicle on the basis of sanction letter. How much worse could have happened if I would have taken car on the basis of sanction letter.

              I approached to the Branch Manager of IDBI Vivek Vihar branch so as to reopen my case or for the refund my processing fee. Nothing has been done so far after several visits.

              I applied for another loan through another bank and have a car now. But I need my money bank. Can anybody help me?

                  Me and My husband applied for Home loan from IDBI bank 2 months back. Bank deducted their processing charges initially and did their queries. During the query, we came to know through our agent that there is some amount pending at wife’s end in Citi Bank card.

                  We were receiving calls from Citi Bank from 1 month that some amount is pending; but we were denying that as we had never done any shopping from Citi bank card as we stopped that card in the month of September 2006 and the whole shopping was done on one single day in Oct 2006 and bank never gave us any statement of payment from last 3 years. As Soon as we applied for loan bank started chasing us for the payment; however we pay the amount as F&F just for the sake of Home loan as it was a missing card case but we have no FIR for this. So Bank rejected our case and people were so rude in the Bank, even they know that Citi Bank was also the defaulter, why they never informed us about the charges.

                  We requested again to IDBI bank that if Bank has objection at wife’s name, then please process the file only at Husbands’ name and we will change the property on Husbands name as well. Now bank is saying that we are not comfortable providing any loan to us.

                  Can some body tell us how we can go further against the Bank as we have already blocked the money in property and Bank is refusing to pay? Builders have only single financer.

                  Whenever RBI announces CRR hike by IDBI raises interest rate immediately.

                  When CRR is decreased to 250 basis points why is interest rate not decreased.
                  When RBI says interest rate for home loan less than 30 Lakh should be less IDBI has not implemented it.
                  In october 2007 IDBI reduced ROI new customers but for existing ROI was one 1% more.
                  IDBI bank treats exisisting customers for as if taken for Granted.

                          This has reference to my Home Loan A/C No. [protected].

                          I want to submit that I have been repaying for my loan(total amount Rs. 23 lacs)for almost six years now; however my principal amount seems to be hovering around 22 lacs for several years.

                          I strongly suspect that my loan repayments made during last six years are not being accounted properly and as a consequence outstanding principal amount remains the same. Please look into it and take necessary remedial action and intimate me about the same.

                          In case,there is no accounting error, there might be case of higher interest being charged by the bank from me and in that case try to find some remedy for it otherwise I will have to think of trasnsfering my loan to some other bank, which might charge me lower interest rate.

                          Whatever case may be, you have to find out some way so that I don't suffer any more.

                            I was approached by IDBI Pithampur for transferring home loan amount from ICICI to IDBI.
                            It sound good till i got sactioned letter No-032/492/071009 ; dated 22.10.2009 where insurance premium (Rs 13173) added without asking to me.
                            In short, processing fees + Stamping fees + Insurance charge and also Own requirement of ICICI proved that this is not going to attractive deal.
                            I accepted all but till today 02.01.2010 IDBI is confused and asking again more and more papers just for home loan amount 2,50000 Rs. This is going to be a life time experience for me.

                            ICICI/IDBI — Home loan

                            I had taken housing loan in ICICI and now due to the high interest rates I m switching over to IDBI bank coimbatore. IDBI coimbatore has processed my loan request and it is ready to give the loan and I they had requested for one document which is List Of Documents(LOD) on the letter head of ICICI bank.

                            ICICI has clearly clarified that they can issue the LOD on a plain white sheet of paper with the Banks Seal and they dont issue it on the letter head as per their policy . Now I am caught between these two banks for the transfer. IDBI coimbatore alone has told that they cannot approve the loan since it s LOD is not in their letter head.

                            Other than this issue I dont have any other problem with the bank related documents I had to submit.

                            And the branch manager of IDBI coimbatore tells that its his decission to give away the loan and there is no Bank policy as such to look into it . Please let me know what has to be done on this regards.

                            i have also taken from idbi bank and requested for top loan against the property whose mortgage is done with idbi and original paper are time, , still i m waiting from last 1 mont after all approvals/loan sanction but still idbi is asking papers one after one, including my relation with mother proof for property which is already mortage by them

                            Still u have time get away from IDBI bank and also reqested new home laon seeker to get away from IDBI, as other banks are more professional that these IDBI bank

                                I applied for Housing loan with IDBI Bank, Pune on 12th Nov' 2009 with all accurate property doc's and was surprised to note the late back and unprofessional approach of Bank employees. Initially sanction letter was issued by IDBI bank for Rs. 42.15 Lacs and later based on Property valuation it was revised to Rs. 41.65 Lacs and and now that interest rate is revised i still await my sanction letter. In the mean time i have paid my contribution of 20% to the seller and entered into agreement to sale. IDBI bank legal ad visor (lawyer - Mr. Gandhi) raised a query saying the draft agreement submitted by me do not contain details of property transfer act clauses and wanted it to incorporated without mentioning/indicating the same (even on request). After taking it on with disbursement manager (the attitude of said manager was totally non-cooperative) and the file was send to second set of lawyer, who has legally cleared the file now and I await disbursement. No one has realized the tension and anxiety i have under gone. secondly still i am not sure what further requirements shall come up from IDBI bank and WHEN SHALL MY LOAN BE CLEARED. NOW I AM AT MERCY OF IDBI BANK

                                  I attempted to withdraw money from SBI ATM at Varanasi Rly Station, however the money was not dispensed by the machine; now the bank customer claim that it was a successful transaction without providing any proof what so ever of the same. They have provided an ATM dispute reference no and no action has been taken till date (more than one month has elapsed. Is there some recourse I can take??
