EMI charges applied to my credit card for a Flipkart transaction that was cancelled and fully refunded.
To my surprise, after paying three EMIs already, I have now been asked to pay an additional ₹11, 000+ as a foreclosure charge. This is extremely concerning and seems entirely unjustified, as I have not received any goods or services against this transaction.
To reiterate:
The Flipkart order was cancelled and the amount was refunded in full.
Despite this, EMI deductions continued for a product I never received.
Now, I'm being asked to pay a foreclosure amount for something I did not purchase.
This situation has caused considerable stress and confusion. I respectfully request a detailed explanation of why this charge is being levied and an immediate resolution, including reversal of any ongoing or future EMI/charges related to this transaction.
Please treat this as urgent. If not resolved promptly, I will be compelled to escalate this to the Banking Ombudsman and relevant consumer grievance platforms. Was this information helpful? |
