We are using ifb washing machine model of senorita aqua sx/vx 6.5kg 1000rpm... Still our product is in warranty, when we use cold-lightly soiled after the machine stops when we open the door of washing machine we are getting a burning smell inside and to the clothes, we are suffering from this issue from past few months, we thought it would stop but... Day by day it is increasing the smell, and some times we can see fog occuring in the machine when we open the door... We hope you team will solve my issue... Thanking you

I have purchased IFB machine but on visit for demo, technician informed that filter need to be installed in machine. why the filter is not given at the time of sale. All the facts are not onformed by dealer at the time of sale. I presume IFB is providing all this but dealer are removing the same due to competition in market. Please look into this

    I raised the complaint on 29th december for my washing machine which is under warranty, the engineer visited my place on 2nd and diagnosed that spring of my machine has been damaged. He said he will do it on 3rd but no reply for couple of days when i called pune office they said they don't have it & need to get it from warehouse in wagholi, pune and will take another couple of days, to my surprise no response for couple of days when i called them back i got very rude response saying that it is not available in pune & need to procure it from goa and not sure when it will come. I then somehow got the number of wagholi office where the i got same kind of cold response, after lot of chasing & request they got it arrange on 9th jan, finally when engineer came to repair he discover some internal pipe is leakage. He said he will get it on 10th but since there was no response from him, i called him but he did not picked-up the phone, when i called pune office i got same rude response saying it will take 3-4 days further to get the pipe and the person kept the phone on side. I have not seen such a pathetic customer service from reputed company like ifb. We go for brand by paying premium, it is very disappointing to see such post sales service from company & their appointed vendor. There is no basic discipline on how one should speak to customer who is at distress & facing inconvenience. Also not sure why there is no stock of basic parts in warehouse when they are catering to such big market like pune. Hats off to such unprofessional company

    No matter how much you update this company on the behaviour of their service executives, the fact of the matter is that those people are locally picked labours, trained for a particular job, given a monthly target to sell the company products and close the case. The company can never train these executives on soft skills since they hire them in scale.
    Even the customer care team to whom we speak to is outsourced and the company is not liable to look into the behaviour of those representatives either.

      While baking cake, the top layer start burning with in few sec, cake was not baked especially in center & bottom. L was follow all instructions but i don't know something is problem... I call service center but they were not response in this issue.. Please take this matter seriously because not only in my oven its happing my friends oven they using same ifb... My oven is 25sc2..         My microwave is under annual maintenance contract is issued on 05/08/2017 and it is valid up to 04/08/2019. After that on 08th august my microwave is working but plate is not moving and i have given complaint on 09th august 2017 and one technician came and opened the microwave what he had done i don't know but my microwave is not working and the people associated with ifb are not attending me.         Ifb washing machine not working properly :door closing lock not working and there is noise problem.Besides this machine is not balanced and shake when in operation and this is what required from company like IFB

            While baking a cake in a conventional mode, just after 5 to 10 min the top layer start burning & not bake evenly especially in the center & base not cook properly.. L follow all instructions & not only in my oven, my friends had same problem they have ifb microwave. L call service center but they not response properly... Please give me correct instructions..

              Ref: complaint dated 2nd january 2018 (Subject: fraudulent sale of company manufactured/promoted products)

              I submitted my complaint against ifb on this forum on the 2nd of january 2018; to which i received an absolutely imprudent response from the ifb team on 5th january.

              The response stated that of the three products that had been sold off to my father – a senior citizen – through fraudulent means i. E. The ifb technician providing misleading information on the washing machine and its maintenance, they shall take back just one.

              This, in spite of the fact that in my complaint i had clearly mentioned the exact reasons and information (All baseless and wrong) that the ifb technician had given in order to make the sale of the three products (The water filter, the 10 packet descale powder pack and the 2 bottles of ifb essentials liquid detergent) to my father.

              Since 26th december 2017, i have made numerous calls, from the upper shell enterprises (Rz g-686, first floor, raj nagar ii, palam colony, new delhi – 110077) to, the ifb regional service manager - tushar (Mob: [protected]) to the ifb customer care department (#[protected].

              Such has been the attitude of these ifb representatives that they have not even answered my calls, let alone standing by their promise of reverting to me subsequent to the long conversations that i had with each one of them, repeatedly, each time explaining the same thing to them – the absurd reasons given by the ifb technician and creating a false sense of insecurity in my father’s mind on the running and maintenance of the newly-installed washing machine (Installed on 16th december 2017 at dwarka, new delhi).

              Each time i communicate with an ifb repreentative, irrespective of the fact whether it’s a first time call or a repeat call, i am being forced to repeat my complaint, and the false and misleading information given out by the ifb technician for making the fraudulent sales of more than 5000 inr to my old father, on the pretext of protecting the newly installed washing machine.
              Yet, there is no respite from this ordeal.

              This kind of treatment that is being meted out to us is nothing short of mental harassment. More than 3 weeks have passed and we have still not been able to use the washing machine only for the reason that we do not want to use the same with the water filter which has been installed unnecessarily, by means of conveying wrongful and misleading information about the use of the same.

              Yet again, i am repeating the illogical and misleading information given out by the technician (Suresh kumar), based on which these sales were made:

              Water filter - the technician, pointing out to the 20-year old ifb washing machine, still in use at my parents' house, specifically mentioned to my father that the ifb machines manufactured in the old days were of high quality, which is not the case with the ones being manufactured in today’s time. And therefore, he is installing the water filter so that the machine keeps functioning well for a long time.
              From his statement one can decipher only one of the two - either he is speaking the truth and the ifb washing machines are actually no more of the high quality that they once used to be in erstwhile years or he is lying, in which case this is a clear case of duping, a fraudulent transaction, made on the basis of false claims.

              Whatever the case, he neither asked my father about the water quality nor did he conduct any test to determine that the water quality was indeed unfit for machine use and that the water filter was a necessity.

              Ifb liquid detergent - two packs of the liquid detergent were sold off saying ifb recommends this detergent in order to get good results in washing. (This is yet again a subtle way of creating a false sense of insecurity in the consumer’s mind).

              There is no proof whatsoever that the ifb liquid detergents are indeed the best for getting good results in ifb machines. For as long as 20 years, ifb has been recommending surf excelmatic for their machines. Now that it has come up with its own detergent, it is promoting the same through misleading information; with no lab test or any study to prove this claim.

              Ifb descale powder - the 10-pack kit of the descal powder was sold off to my father saying that one packet should be used every one month.
              It was only after i spoke to the service centre (Upper shell enterprises, rz g-686, first floor, raj nagar ii, palam colony, new delhi - 110077) that i was educated on the use of the descal powder – that it is only after every 30 washes, and not every month as stated by the technician, that one packet of the powder is to be used.

              My father had clearly told the technician that there are just two people in the house i. E. He and his wife. I can vouch for the fact that in a majority of households, including mine (Comprising me and my husband), a family of two effectively uses the washing machine only once a week at the max. With this mathematics, a household would be able to use one packet of the powder only at an interval of 7.5 months. Also these powders come with a 2-year expiry period, thus making them unusable after 2 years from the date of manufacture.
              Considering all these factors, during a 2 year period, one would not be able to use more than 3 of these packets, thus rendering the remaining 7 packets unfit for use, which the service centre person (By the name vikas) too agreed to. 7 packets @ rs 180 per packet amounts to wastage of rs 1260 straight away.

              Had my father been provided the correct and true information on the use of each of these products, he would not have purchased any of them in the first place. But as i have mentioned before, the only way the technician sold off these three products to him was through false and/or misleading claims (As i have mentioned above) and creating a false sense of insecurity in his mind that if he did not use these products, the washing machine won't last long or it will get spoilt very soon if they don't use these so called 'ifb manufactured and recommended or ifb promoted products’.

              It is disgraceful to see the extent to which the company and its representatives fall only to make sales, no matter by what means then. All that one sees is a web of lies and an absolutely unacceptable and deplorable behavior of the ifb representatives.

              Being nowhere at fault in this entire episode and not having been provided the right information on any of these products, my parents, cannot be penalised and made to pay for the dishonesty of ifb and its representatives.

              I would like to reiterate, we do not need and want any of these unneccesary and useless products (Water filter, liquid detergent and the descale powder) that have been sold off to us through fraudultent means.

              I still hope the ifb team takes note of the gravity of this issue and takes corrective action.

                I have ifb washing machine which is still under warranty, someone from service centre visited to give service however the service seems to be incomplete. Only the inlet and outlet pipes were cleaned but drum descaling was not done. When i called customer care they say for that i will have to pay, i don't understand one thing when product is under warranty why do i have to pay for anything (Unless physical damage) and the most important part of washing machine is the drum and if that is not included in basic service then why is it called service under warranty even. Also when i asked to transfer the call to the senior i was kept on hold thrice but senior denied to take the call.

                Just wondering if i will be heard on this complaint or this will be ignored too.

                I read your complaint and thought of sharing my experience with you on the descaling of my 4 year old machine drum by the IFB technician.

                In May 2016, a technician came to service my washing machine. Since my machine hadn't been serviced for more than 2 years (solely for the reason that nobody from the service centre bothered to connect with me for the same before that), the technician, put 2 packets of the descale powder into the machine. As a result, the drum got corroded and its silver-colored chrome plating too came off. I made several complaints, but to no avail. And I was told that they would send a technician who would have a look at the machine and if the drum was indeed spoilt, I would only have to pay for the new one.This, in spite of the fact that it was the IFB technician who was at fault. It was only after I made a complaint on www.complaintboard.in (Refer: https://www.complaintboard.in/complaints/washing-machine-drum-turned-black-when-... that they attended to my complaint.

                If you're getting your drum descaled, please be careful about it and do make a before-after note of the status of your drum.

                Though my previous complaint for the drum had been resolved, I am here on this platform for another complaint. And this time too, it is against IFB.

                So just be careful when you deal with these people.

                  My ifb washing machine elena vx (Bought in 2012) was not working since its drum was broken. Company technician (Sheenu refrigeration, chengannur,) replaced the drum on 28/12/17 and charged me rs 7100 towards the cost of drum. But on the following day (29/12/17) when a company executive called me (From the number [protected]) to enquire whether the complaint was resolved i asked him about the cost of the drum and he told me that it costs rs.4000 only, i was shocked and complained him about the excess charge collected from me by the company technician. I sent a copy of the bill to him on the same day to his whatsapp number but till date he has not given me a reply my id was 14502688. Hope the company will take steps to reimburse the excess amount of rs.3000 to me and also take to stop this type of cheating by the company technicians, if not only god can save ifb customers.

                  I got Rs.3000 looted from me, back.Thanks to https://www.consumercomplaints.in, (not to IFb).The company responded only when my complaint found place in this forum.The company executive paid no attention to my complaint earlier.The company turned a blind eye to the issue earlier, but now they are kind enough to return the money only when the complaint become public., .But again one thing, the company is gaining a lot from collecting exorbitant service charge(not Rs500 or 1000 but collected Rs3000 in excess) because only one among a hundred customers complains .(The same service technician, (Sheenu Refrigeration, Chengannur) collected Rs6000 from my sister for replacement of drum for the same machine three years back .They may be cheating a lot of people like this as the company do not publish the cost of the spare parts.It can be known from the company executives only and the contact numbers of the executives are not available to the customers.If the company has any sincerity in this issue let them inform me end their customers what action they have taken against the technician (Sheenu Refrigeration, Chengannur, Kerala)and what measures they are going to take to protect their customers from cheating in the future

                    Hi all,

                    I have been a very loyal customer of ifb and with all my purchases
                    Belonging to ifb, the problem started when i raised a compliant
                    Informing that my washine machine is having a lot of noise and the
                    Handle is broken.

                    I had a technician who visited my place and blindly refused service
                    Informing me that i had paid my amc to the previous area person and
                    Not to him and he will not help. I have called atleast 30 plus times
                    Asking for support but there is no respite.

                    I called the person who collected money and he indicated that my
                    Amcwas not with any dealer but with ifb and since i have moved to a
                    Different area he is not authorized to come for repair.

                    The current area service centre guy seems to be a goon and he comes
                    And threatens my family that we should not raise a complain and he if
                    We want the issue resolved we should pay. He forcibly collected rs
                    2000/- from my mother indicating that the wire was not covered under
                    Warranty.

                    Our issue has been a very noisy motor and he claims that he has to
                    Invest money to buy the motor and ifb will not pay him so we should
                    Pay him.

                    My name is riyaz sait and i have been in the customer service field

                    And other companies), i have never encountered a goon who openly
                    Threatened even your customer care on phone indicating that he will
                    Not do anything and your customer service team was a mute spectator

                    First ticket:

                    Closed in january after 1 month (Technician forcibly collected inr
                    2000) - issue not resolved

                    Repeated reopens on the ticket and the technician refused to come

                    Ticket no: [protected] was raised to inform that the issue is not
                    Resolved, technician visits and says pay money for the motor and we
                    Will change. Jan 5 ticket gets a notification indicating pending due
                    To customer reschedule and then on jan 8 it gets cancelled indicating
                    Wrong address. If it was a wrong address then how was the first ticket

                      As usual washing machine was running on 4th jan 2018, after about 45 min smoke started coming form machine & fire started. Washing machine completely burnt, fire & smoke caused the property damage.
                      Electrician verified the incident & confirmed that the problem is with washing machine & no issue with electric supply.

                      Model - 5kg, elena (Front load),
                      Year - 2007

                      Incident happened on 4th jan 2018, same day a compliant was raised to ifb & no one visited till date. Even the response from customer care is the machine is not in warranty & will be charged by service representative. No answer for the question, will the machine burn after warranty? Compliant number - [protected].

                      Sever property damage:-
                      1) complete home turned black, need to be refurbished.
                      2) washing machine completely burnt (Only skeleton)
                      3) ceiling fan burnt
                      4) dress materials burnt & turned black which can't be used.

                      Please refer attached photos.

                      Need ifb to provide replacement for washing machine & compensation for property damages.

                        This is the worst ever customer service. I complaint was that the detergent was not taking. One guy from smv services ([protected]) had come home and without even diagnosis changed from filter and pretended that it's working and charged 3200 rupees including service charge.

                        Now machine is having the same problem as beginning and customer care refuses to help and the kid who cheated us isn't not picking the call.

                        The situation is now is that machine is not working and we spent 3200 for no reason

                          I have ifb maxidry 550 for which i raised a complaint around 1month back. Though it was told that within 24hour technician will reach but it took more 3 days for technician to visit after multiple followup with ifb customer care. As per technician, dryer heater is faulty and he will come next day to replace as he didn't bring part with him. Day later, i need to call him up if he is coming for repair but then he said, part is not available and he will contact us once it is available. Few days after that, i received sms saying my ticket no: [protected] was requested for cancellation owing to customer will call back/inform. For any issue reply "no" to xxxx number.

                          Again around 10 days after receiving message i called ifb customer care and re-described my issues, they gave me contact number of service tech head but unfortunately that number was switched off.

                          Now at this helpless situation, i called back to the technician who has visited to ask if part is available. He told it became available yesterday only and asked me to remind again and he will come.

                          So till now after more than a month, i am still waiting if someone will come to fix the issue.

                          Now some keypoints i would like to highlight to consumer who are thinking to buy product from ifb -

                          1. It seems that ifb doesn't have support for ifb dryers since they don't have parts available so don't buy atleast this product.

                          2. Customer service is of no use as they direct to local ifb agency who doesn't care of customer.

                          For ifb -

                          1. Why do you sell such products for which you can't provide service? Just discontinue such products or declare end of life.

                          2. Why would customer buy such an expensive products for which they can't get service?

                          3. Please advice what should i do with my dryer. Should i throw it to dustbin as ifb doesn't repair faulty device due to lack of parts?

                            I have purchase ifb microwave from vijay sales on 31st december which got delivered on 2nd jan 2018. Inspite several reminder calls and request to ifb customer care on phone till date no call has been received from ifb respective service centers regarding demo.

                            This is very sad thing that i purchased ifb product and i will never do this mistake in my life. And i will never recommend ifb's products to any one.

                            If before sales service is this much bad i dont want to keep relation with such a brand.

                            I will today open the box of microwave. And if any damadge is there it will be solely ifb's responsibility. And i will return it to you.

                              I have registered a complained no. [protected] regarding leak in tub in my fully automatic ifb top loading washing machine on 04/12/2017. Technician had visited on next day and said tub will be replaced and it is not our stock. When i call several time to ifb service centre then every time they have given me the number of different service coordinator of ghaziabad centre (Up) named: neha, priya, priti, vijoy das, pardeep and rakesh yadav and everybody replied it will be changed in 2-3 days. On 29th december 2017 mr. Rakesh yadav said it will be changed in 2 days ie by 1st january 2018 but nobody turn-up then finally on 4th january i have called to service centre again then he said your old complained is closed and register new one. After one month i am not getting any service from ifb though i have amc for 2 years.
                              Kindly help me to resolve the problem.

                                I called customer care on 3 jan 2018 at 1522 hrs from my mobile number [protected] to register complaint about my ifb washing machine making noise while washing and taking longer time than normal. The complaint was taken and he said that my mobile number was not registered with washing machine thereafter i gave him model number of washing machine but i didn't receive any complaint number. Today when i called to know about the status of my complaint i was told that my complaint was not registered. Please take action against the representative as i have recorded the call and it's also available with you as it is recorded on ivrs. Copy of my call log is provided as attachment.

                                I also faced problem with customers service.my husband called to the customer service and said to call me at 5:00pm .Your service man called me in the morning I couldn't lift the phone as I cannot take the call in school.After seeing the call icalled him back he said as u didn't lift the phone your complaint is cancelled.This is the second time it is not working in three months.Every time they say to buy some thing or the other.

                                  Description of incident - i am facing an e4 error in my ifb washing machine top load 6 kg model no - aw60-205s.. Ifb top load washing machine is not working as it showing e4 error, and the drum is not rotating while rinsing and the water is continuously going from inlet to out going pipe.

                                  Trying to reach the customer since last one week but got the ticket registered today and team not ready to accept mistake that they have been abandoning my call.

                                    My ifb washing machine stopped working so i contacted the ifb service centre people. Their technician visited me & after checking it tol me that the drum was broken so will have to change it & the bearings. The estimated cost was 5- 6 thousand rupees to which we agreed coz we trusted them being company people.
                                    When they didnt revert after 3-4 days i again called them up andon enquiry was told that since it was an old machine it was taking some time to procure the parts.
                                    After 2 days they got the parts & started repairing the machine.
                                    On opening the machine was tol that it was in a very good condition & will be fixed in half an hour. Then suddenly that technician called his colleguge & i overheard them talking that something had gone wrong & should they just leave it unrepaired.
                                    When i asked them they said now the tub is also broken & estimated cost of that would be another ₹ 3000.
                                    Both of them left my machine all ripped apart & said will revert in 30 mins
                                    I again waited patiently & called up the service centre to find out. Was told that since my machine was old nothing can be done now & we will have to buy a new one.
                                    I was quite surprised at the unprofessional attitude of these people. My question was if it was an obselete machine then how come 2 parts were available & the 3 one unavailable.

                                    After numerous calls to contact ifb senior managers on the customer care toll free number havent got a single call from them.
                                    My washing machine is lying ripped apart & now they want to come and take their parts back.
                                    Yesterday got a call regarding these parts & on telling them that due to some emergency will not be available for a day or two & on asking for a resolve for that machine was told that they cant do anything & my complaint was closed.
                                    I was aghast & asked them how they could be so unprofessional & callous was threatened by the service centre head that he will take legal action against. Me for not cooperating

                                    A lady consumer goes to ifb for repairing of her washing machine & gets threatened by them... This is what a big company ifb ia all about

The spare drum is not available here immediately for replacement and it will take 4-5days for making spare available.
