Hi,
I got a ifb washing machine on feb month, the person who came for service got money around (2500/-) for stand and cover but i did not receive the product yet. I contacted the customer care and got the manager number. That manager responded that the product is out of stock, once he receive the product he will be delivering. Its been three months am contacting continuously, on may 3 i contacted he said he will get the product by evening and will be delivering next day. But i didnt recevie the product yet. Now his number is switched off and the another number which i received from him to contact, the person is not replying. Other than paying and getting the product immediately, we are suppose to spend extra money by calling them to get the product. Worst customer service from this branded company.

    I have complained regarding the door of the above dishwasher on )5/05/2017 @13.40

    The complaint was received by Mr.Vishal Nd told me that the mechanic would contact me within 24 hours

    on the same day at night @7.00p.m. your service man phoned me and told me that he will be coming @8, 00 p.m. But i told him that since i am out of my residence, he was ready to come on sunday 07/05/2017

    But till time he has not contacted me

    I phoned on your call centre no[protected] to day for 7 times but sorry to say that your representatives on call centres are of no use either they donot care about the customer service or they ignore the customers

    And this is not first time from IFB, since last 5/7 years when i purchased the above machine.

    I can firmly say that IFB is not at all reliable company in India for after sale service

    Since taking into consideration the past & present experience fro IFB, I am compalled to approach the media & publish all my experince from IFB

      Extended warranty issues

      I had extended the washing machine warranty for 2 years
      Now the washing machine is under repair
      The technician attended the complaint and they told that bearing should be replaced. And they told that bearing and spare parts comes under warranty and free of charge. But they ask charge of traveling for technician otherwise to bring the washing machine to service center point. The asking rupees 600 for traveling charge. The distance...

      I am using ifb washing machine for the last 9 years, i was on amc last year but the service people didn't do any service during the amc period, now when i need a service they said the amc period is over, they didn't informed the amc renewal period to me. I feel i was cheated by the service people due to the lack of proper service during the amc period which leads to the present impaired condition of my machine.

            Product - Dishwasher
            IFB's back to the square one...
            Two years after my first dishwasher was replaced by IFB, I am in the same situation again.
            The Machine works wonderfully when it's in working conditions but the moment you face any technical issues, you feel like throwing it out of your window...
            IFB technicians are not trained enough to repair the machine.
            This time the problem is with the rinse aid dispenser.
            The first complaint was registered on the 5th of April 2017 on the Customercare number[protected] when I realised that my machine was leaking the rinse aid and I needed to refill it daily. All my utensils turned white due to lack of rinse aid.
            No one contacted us for more than 24 hours and I had to call back to the service centre to remind them about the complaint.
            The technician visited us on the 7th of April 2017, checked the machine, filled in rinse aid in the dispenser and realised that the light indicating rinse aid refill was still on indicating that dispenser is empty.
            He tried opening the panel to fix the problem but could not fix it.
            Then he cleaned the machine manually and ran cycle of 60 minutes. On completion of the cycle he told my husband that the problem is solved, ignore the rinse aid indicator, the machine is ready to use. It will take some time for the utensils to come back to normal.
            We tried using machine for a week and realised that the problem was not solved.
            I contacted the customer care again on the 17th of April 2017
            The technician came to us on the 20th of April 2017 to change the part. He changed the part, charged us Rs. 1947 and said that the problem is solved. The receipt was not filled in properly, in place of the part name the technician wrote the name of the firm.
            After so called change of the part the problem got worsened, the rinse aid leakage increased drastically. We could see the rinse aid leaking faster than earlier.
            The Customercare centre was contacted again on the 25th of April, around 11.50 AM. This time the experience with the service centre was unsatisfactory, and I had to speak to the floor Incharge Mr. Ashok. He promised me that the technician would reach us at the earliest.
            We did not receive any response till the 29th April 2017 and we had to call the Customercare centre again, I spoke to Me. Ashok and Floor supervisor Mr. Ali. Mr. Ashok tried to connect me to Mr. Senthil the service centre Incharge in Bangalore, who was clue less about the issue.
            Mr. Senthil promised that the technician would visit us the same day. But no one turned up. The Customercare centre was contacted again on the 30th April 2017 and the call was attended by Ms. Priyanka. We were told the technician would visit us on Monday, the 1st May 2017. No one visited us till Tuesday.
            We are being told that the machine can't be repaired at home and needs to be taken to the service centre. Every day the team promises to come and take the machine for servicing but no one turns up.
            Currently, the machine is in not working condition, utensils are spoilt, we have been paying extra money to the house helper.
            Today's status: spoke to Ma. Suma from the Customercare centre who was reluctant to transfer my call to Mr. Ashok or Mr Ali and suggested me to talk to Mr. Nagesh Incharge of the service centre. When I refused to speak to any new person any more my call was transferred to Mr. Ali, who was unaware of the current status of the complaint and told me that he can't promise me any thing today, as it's a Sunday.

                Who is this surendar? How can u hire irresponsible guys like him in your support division as supervisor when he himself is not doing his work in right way? This is 3-4 time i raised the issue of cover and he is sending the same damaged cover. When you call him he is showing attitude as if these r giving free service. Return my money.

                    Ifb washing machine is not working. I register the complaint in the toll free no. On 26/04/2017 and the complaint no. Is [protected]. I waited for 3-4 days but still no person came. On 04/05/2017 i visited the shop and made the complaint again, i got a new complaint no. [protected].
                    The washing machine is under warranty, purchased on 20/12/2014, from nandilath g mart, thodupuzha.

                      I raised the above complaint yesterday (4th may 2017) and your executive came & opened the machine and said parts needs to be replaced and he'll get back with the parts on saturday (6th may 2017)

                      He took the amount of rupees 575 as service charge and when i insisted on receipt he said he will give on saturday after replacing the part & there will not be any service charge on saturday

                      Now i received a message today that the complaint is resolved

                      What does this mean?

                      Moreover the guy who came in not even in bothered to close the machine back, what kind of technical assitance this is?

                      Don't ifb got basic moral ethics that receipt should be given when you collect the money from customer?
                      & and being in the customer service industry for so many years don't you teach your representative to ensure the machine should be kept as it is before leaving the site?

                      I am still not getting on what basis the complaint was closed
                      What kind of service provider you have?

                      Hope this is taken into serious consideration and the problem is resolved as committed

                      It is never resolved
                      Not sure how did you called that this problem is resolved
                      Below is the sequence of events that happened
                      1. After the complaint in Consumer Forum engineer came in. The complaint raised with IFB was closed without even visiting
                      2. He said shock absorber is the problem and need to be replaced
                      3. After 3 days, he came up with shock absorber and replaced it. But the issue still presist
                      4. After 4 days he came in with someone, checked and said the drum is gone and need to be replaced
                      5. After a week he came in and replaced the Drum.
                      6. Now the new problem started off with water leakage
                      7. Every time i need to do multiple follow-up to have him attend the problem
                      8. Here again after multiple follow-up he came and resolved the water leakage issue and created a new issue
                      9. Machine started throwing errors
                      10. After almost more 15 days follow-up one engineer visited and said the processor board is gone & there is no spare available for this product
                      I already spend almost 9000 rupees on replacing the parts that IFB engineer now ending up with having a dump machine that is of no use
                      Its been more than 45 days, I am struggling
                      Now tell me what basis this complaint is closed, who have given the consent of resolution??
                      This is absolutely pathetic service from IFB

                        I have a ifb washing machine. Model - elena.
                        Which was purchased 3.5 years back. It is still under warranty, as the warranty is for 4 years.
                        My machine is giving error since 21st april, to which i have called many times to ifb customer care. But till now nothing is happening and my machine has not yet been repaired.

                          During installation of an IFB washing machine we were forced to buy a filter as accessory which costed around Rs. 3800/-. The information about the same was not mentioned or brought down to our knowledge in any means at the time of purchase.

                          The elder people in the home were not able to understand the technical details detailed by the representative. If the same accessory is mandatory for the smooth functioning of the machine, why it was not sold during the time of purchase.

                          I request everyone to enquire in detail about the demo procedures and costs incurred while purchasing any appliances.

                              Complaint no.[protected] dn at 12.32 pm today about my washing machine door tht cant open after a wash cycle. I requested for an urgent visit since the wet clothes are inside the machine and i need a technician sos. The customer care did mk a note of my urgency.
                              No one contacted me. I called the customer care again a few minutes before 5pm and they assured me that a technician will attend to my complaint and thy gv me the no of the service centre that looks after my area complaints... Andheri west. Thy also gv me the number of ms. Priti singh who looks after the complaints in my area.
                              So i called the service centre on [protected] at 5pm and i am told that its too late in the day (Imagine in a city like mumbai) and that the technicians hv left for the day.. Mind u its not a saturday where i could understand that thy work half day.
                              So i called ms. Priti singh who first asked me rudely hw i gt her no. And thn connected me on a conference call with the serv cent guy who refused to attend my complaint.
                              Ms. Priti singh, instead of solving my problem kept on telling me that its not possible to attend my complaint... With excuses in the background from the serv cent guy.
                              Ifb... I will not recommend u to any1 only bcz u hv the worst service. The moment it is known that one has an annual maintainance contract the serv centre guys dont bother attending the complaints.
                              It isnt our job to follow up the complaints. And in a city like mumbai ur technicians are shameless in giving excuses. You hv the worst people working for you.
                              My clothes lie wet in my washing machine and will hv to be there until the technician decides to cm.
                              I cn only pray that he cms. But definitly no more ifb

                                We bought IFB-senorita sx 6kg front loader fully automatic washing machine before 4 years.Its serial number is[protected].Suddenly when we switch on the machine display is not working and its not starting too..Please help us in this.Spokem with customer care.Its very urgent.please resolve it asap

                                Its not resolved completely.They have changed the mother board..it worked for 2 washes and now the drum is not rotating.registered a complaint again.Ticket number - [protected].Please resolve it asap.

                                  I have purchased IFB washing machine in Dwarka Sector 7 Ramphal Chowk on November, 2016 while using on[protected] I found smells like wire got infected then air dryer is not working. I made complaint IFB care on[protected] ticket no [protected] but no response from your team so I am making complaint daily and getting ticket nos as usual. But till date nobody has come and rectified problem till today.

                                    I have raised the complaint bearing complaint number [protected] and so far neither i have received any call nor any technician visited my house. Hope some one will intervene in this issue and arrange for some technician.
                                    This is with regard to the front load washing machine - model: elite vx - 7 kg and my registered mobile no. Is [protected] (Earlier registered mobile no. Was [protected]). I have taken amc and still struggling with the service issue from ifb

                                    If you track my recent complaints, i have been raising my complaints from march 22 2017 onwards (Complaint no. [protected]), april 23 2017 (Complaint no. [protected]) and again recent complaint yesterday (Complaint no. [protected]), ofcourse for which no one turned out till now nor called me. Iam having this problem with the washing machine where water is not cutting off automatically and is overflowing from washing powder tray and from the door. Water is completely filled in the washing drum and also making huge noise

                                    There is a serious problems with your technicians. One guy (Ramesh - [protected]) says, may be you are using excess washing powder, where we have been using the same machine for past 8 years and still he feels we are not educated or matured enough to know how much powder is required.. Another technician (Mobile no. [protected]) turnsup on april 24 2017 and says its the problem of some part which controls the water flow and while fixing he takes out a hand written paper showing drawing about how to fit and consults another technician again and again for fixing (Means he being a technician is not having knowledge on how to install that spare part). Guys like these technicians attend our calls

                                    My problem is not yet resolved and he has taken signature on three cards where as i have seen only two spares are changed. He says only by signing three cards i will be allowed to change the spare.

                                    Washing machine is not the only thing in our life for which we have been calling again and again to ifb service and we have to wait for some technician to turnup.

                                      My compliant ID:[protected], N.Devarajan, Phone no:[protected], two months before i booked a service with IFB for my Neptune DX, received a call from service center that guy informed me that to fix this issue it will cost around 4500 instead ican pay 7000 rupees for extended warranty and after 15 days they will fix current issue for free of cost, So i agreed and paid for extended warranty, after receiving the amount service center guy told me they will fix it in 30 days, so i waited for 30days and booked a complaint again with IFB on April 3rd, till now No one called me and provided any update about this, whenever i call they are keep seeing they will fix it in 2 days, 1week and sooo on. one month completed now, but this issue not solved yet. Spoke to service center manager(Thiruvallur), Area manager, useless No one cares on fixing the issue. they even did not call me and provided any update sofar. VERY VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.
