My Name is Bala Viswanath, am a resident of Bilekahalli, Bangalore.This complaint is regarding the customer care of IFB washing machine. I have a 5 yr old machine for which i have a valid Annual maintenance Certificate. My machine broke down and they say its not repairable. I asked for an exchange and there is no response from their end.I tried reaching to them over various channels such as phone, email and Facebook to sort this out but, they are not interested.

I have an IFB senator washing machine since 5 years. Every year i pay for AMC for maintenance and i have paid this year too.
This machine gave me issues throughout its lifetime so far. Recently
there is some issue with cabling and I’ve raised a complaint, as usual.
There wasn’t much response from the company for so long than the usual
visits by the technicians. So finally I decided to write to their
customer support.

The last correspondence I’ve received from IFB is from one sales person,
suggesting met to go with ‘replacement machine’ and they’ll give me 40%
discount.
As I am having AMC, I think they should either replace my machine with better discount or may be for free.
Need your kind attention on the same.

Hi,
My name is Viswanath (mobile number [protected]) and I am having an IFB
senator 6 KG washing machine. My customer number is 952273, if am not
wrong.
This machine broke down on junly 24th and on the same day, I’ve raised a complaint.
This ticket was resolved without fixing my machine and later on Aug 9th,
I’ve raised another complaint. I am not sure about its status.
I’ve called more than 100 times to all the executives who visited and re-visited my house without much success.
Finally, some one called on the alternate number ( [protected]) and
according to them, this machine cannot be repaired, as they were unable
to find the parts.
I am completely fed up with this kind of customer care and service and lack of communication.
You were unable to find the required parts after 2 months??? This is completely unacceptable.
