DEAR SIR, OUR CUSTOMER ID WITH IFB IS: 10169255. WE HAD PURCHASED IFB FRONT LOADING WASHING MACHINE- ADMIRAL 8012W-8KG MODEL ABOUT 1 YEAR BACK.     A complaint was registered regarding a IFB Serena not working in customer care. A complaint no/ ticket no was given and nothing happened after that. After calling 17 times to customer care, few mobile numbers and land line numbers were given. [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected]. Two of these numbers did not respond. The other two gave a shoddy reply without an iota of responsibility. The service personal are yet to attend the complaint and the futile attempt by the frustrated customer is on..

        I am using IFB Front loading fully automatic washing machine( Serena 5.5kg model) and had purchased it from the local dealer on 13/10/2010.Its door hinge got broken in December 2014 and complaint/request to replace it was lodged with the local service center. But I am sorry to inform that it is more than 3 weeks now but it has not been replaced as yet. You will appreciate the difficulty of washing clothes in this winter season manually when you have fully automatic machine. I have been contacting your local service center regularly to repair the machine at the earliest but their reply every time is that the part has not been received.           My Name is Bala Viswanath, am a resident of Bilekahalli, Bangalore.This complaint is regarding the customer care of IFB washing machine. I have a 5 yr old machine for which i have a valid Annual maintenance Certificate. My machine broke down and they say its not repairable. I asked for an exchange and there is no response from their end.I tried reaching to them over various channels such as phone, email and Facebook to sort this out but, they are not interested. The last correspondence I’ve received from IFB is from one sales person, suggesting met to go with ‘replacement machine’ and they’ll give me 40% discount. As I am having AMC, I think they should either replace my machine with better discount or may be for free. My customer number is 952273, if am not wrong. This machine broke down on junly 24th and on the same day, I’ve raised a complaint. This ticket was resolved without fixing my machine and later on Aug 9th, I’ve raised another complaint. I am not sure about its status. I’ve called more than 100 times to all the executives who visited and re-visited my house without much success. Finally, some one called on the alternate number ( [protected]) and according to them, this machine cannot be repaired, as they were unable to find the parts. I am completely fed up with this kind of customer care and service and lack of communication. You were unable to find the required parts after 2 months??? This is completely unacceptable.             Dear sir, We are purchased 7kg digital washing machine from your dealer m/s s c shah & co on 14.05.2011 with 4 year warrenty. Installation report also enclosed. Now our problem last 4 months machine not working properly and we register compliant through customer care and your technician visited our home and informed water sensor not working properly and some digital issue there. We ask the technicain to correct the problem but he contacted service head and inform machine out of warrenty. We are suprised and contact your chennai head mr. Ravi shankar, first he attend the phone myself explained everything and he informed me contact within 30 minuted and he never contacted. Myself tried to contact several times he was not attending my phone. I am very disappointed. I am ifb customer for last 15 years. Now i want to know my machine is now under warrenty period or not.                   The door hinge of my IFB Washing machine got broken and i have given the complaint on 29 dec 2014, but till today[protected] no one has turned up and My machine is under AMC. Please let me know for what purpose u have 24 x 7 service? And why do u tell customers to take AMC for the machine i[censored] dont respond immediately? When i make calls they say system is down ? their manager's phone is either switched off ? Let me know why do they give the customers such numbers for contact? Please do not waste customers time. AND PLEASE RESPOND IMMEDIATELY.

                    Kind attn : I sent a written complaint to [protected]@ifbglobal.com... Is this not a part of ifb service. This was the id given by your agent when i called to raise a complaint on 28/12/2014. A mr. Singh assured me that the matter will be resolved in 48 hrs, when it was not done i had sent a written complaint on 31/12/2015. Even this has no effect on your service. I am really regretting buying ifb product. If this is not resolved then i am seriously considering going to the consumer greivance cell. I am herewith attaching a copy of the email sent. Kind attn : I have purchased an ifb front load washing machine in may 2014, to get a detailed demo itself was a big problem as i am working i had to call 2-3 times. Now i have been having a serious door issues, as it repeatedly says door not closed. I had complained on 12/12/2014 the service person came after 3 days, he says use some force, how times do we do that, if i had to set a timer to wash the clothes after 3 hours then who is going to see to the door not closed indicator, hence i had informed him to replace the part, he said will come back after 3-4 days with the part. I had even spoken to local ifb service department manager, but there was no response. Again i called the service number on 28th or 29th morning, spoken to a mr. Singh the supervisor, informed him that i was working and needed to know when to expect them so that i could take leave and be present when they would come, he said that the matter will be resolved within 48 hrs. There is no response. Do we need to take a video of the problem and post it like mr. Krishnan's video, will you respond then? Unfortunately i made my sister too take an ifb immediately within 2 weeks of my purchase. Do we really have to regret for trusting the brand name and its quality service? What is the point of giving 4 - x no of years as warranty when you do not respond in the initial stages. If working people buy this product, then we have to take leave for 3 days awaiting your service person? This is not expected from such a reputed brand. I did not see the video n comments on your product, otherwise i would never have purchased it. Never realised disappointment would set it so soon. I wanted to buy a microwave, now we really need to reconsider buy ifb. Will this issue be resolved here, or do we have to post it in akosha?                       03.12.2014 Sir, Subject: washing machine complaint is pending Reference: 1) dealer address: raja traders / nachia stores, karaikal, pondicherry state -609602. 2) type of ifb washing m /c – elite, 05 kg 3) complaint is : arm, suspension and drum to be changed The ifb washing machine dealer not yet attending the complaint after registering in coplaint book. The complaint was registered on 15.12.2014. The ifb mechanic (Mr. Karthi) voluntarily deleyed to attendthe fault more than two weeks. If we contact the mechanic, the concern mechanic ready made answere was non availability of spares. During rainy season, we faced lot of problems without washing machine. We are not satisfied with the dealer as well as company mechanic. Hence, i am requesting you may kindly consider the complaint and rectify the defects as soon as possible. Regards S.                           Dear sir,

                          I have renewed the Microwave AMC for 2 years, with the hope that, as and when, any fault happens, the same would be attended on priority. My AMC ref. No. 4180 dated 30.05.2014.

                          I am residing at Madurai- Chokkikulam.

                          My complaint number is 12014801 dated 16.12.14.

                          Till date, the machine is not made alright, although, two times, representatives visited.

                          No spares are maintained at Madurai Service depot. Everything will have to come from other destinations.

                          Like a doctor, they will diagnose the problem and return to depot without repairing due to non-availability of spares.

                          Most junior people (fresh to line) are pressed into service!

                          This is how, IFB operates Madurai!.

                          Due to non-maintenance of even the essential spares at Madurai, even the small repair would take a longer time.

                          Every customer need to follow up nearly 20 to 25 times, to know the status.

                          I was told, that, IFB had terminated some of the agency for their poor service recently but the statuesque still prevails. Now, the representatives from CBE are attending for Madurai Problems!

                          Extremely Poor Service!

                          I am sure, every one, those who had entered into AMC with IFB/Madurai, will face similar problems.

                          Unfortunately, no higher officials also available at Madurai to take care of this situation.

                          This is the 3rd occasion, I am facing the similar situation ever since, I had entered into AMC.

                          Until, the services are improved, IFB products sales will definitely dwindle at Madurai.

                          By this mail, I would request the senior officials of IFB, to carry out the surprise audit at Madurai, so that, the real situation is known.(complaints Vs the ratification status and period involved)

                            sir my washing machine (front load senator 6 kg) is under amc. i have lodged the service request to repair the machine on 25-oct 2014. since then my washing machine is not fully repaired. I have lodged complaints 3-4 times since then. each time an engineer comes from IFB francise he tells for some parts replacement and never comes back again. since then they have replace a couple of parts but still they have not made the machine in working condition. comp nos are 14151582 14522045 request to look into the matter. abhishek

                                I had purchased a Washing machine of IFB infcact I had exchanged my old IFB machine for a new one. The old machine had given a good service but since more than 10 years old and change parts were a problem I exchanged it after asking IFB people which is a new and sturdy model. The door lock had broken recently ( about 2 months) back and had got it replaced. Now again the same lock has loosened up and the machine is not working. I had given a complaint on 30th December 2014 but till today no body has come. I called again today i.e the 2nd of Jan 2015 and I was told by the lady in the office that the mechanic will come today and see what is the problem and then the parts required will be ordered. In fact I was told the same thing on the 30th December and we had waited for the mechanic the whole day and nobody turned up. On calling the office the phone was coming engaged. This is happening in Goa - Panaji infact the olace where the machines are being manufatured. The service earlier some years bacjk was very good that is why we have gone for a new machine, but the service now is going from good to poor. You are required to give prompt response. The mechanic is good but they are not being deputed promptly or there is shortage of the staff. Otherwise it would be better to switch to a different brand where beteer services will be available.

                                  Complaint on Shape of remote control - not following ergonomics. During the installation, remote was fallen down at a height of 4 feet and glass got broken down.. Shape is quite flat and it impacted heavily on drop. Have contacted customer care saying it's in warranty period as hardly one month passed to use so replace the remote control however they have said it will charge you because of broken screen. It's a shape fault and you have to review the shape again and kindly provide the replacement.

                                    I called the customer service at perumbavoor in june with a leakage problem in my Senorita plus washing machine . after one week they came and left the machine dripping . I paid a bill of nearly 4000rs. now the problem increased and became unmanagable . i went to the service centre at perumbavoor in person at 6th dec 2014 but there is no response so far even after repeated remainders.please take necessary action.

                                      i am using IFB washing Machine model ELITE DX 5.5 Kg since last 4 years. Presently this machine is working with very high operating noise since 15 days, i have made a complaint with ticket no 14513352 . During making complain it was confirmed by IFB me that my complain will attend within 24 hours by their technician but unfortunately the said complaint was not attend till date. after waiting a long time, i have made a communication to nearest service center ( Patna) which is not more than 60 Km from where machine is located, and it was ensures by them that the complain will attend till 27 dec 14 ( Saturday ) . Again unfortunately after laps of 10 days including two nos Saturday, the complain is still not attended by IFB service center.
                                      Pl look into the mater and do the needful.
