      Dear Customer Care,

      We have been using couple of IFB appliance for past few years. Recently we got a huge problem with our Microwave oven. Unfortunately it has happened just after the warranty period is over. The Microwave got rust all over the outside wall we have no clue of the root cause of the problem. We asked for the servicing and the service man informed us that they can not do anything with his problem and the only solution is to change the body.

      But even with the rust the microwave was working properly, but few days back the microwave started sounding horribly and there was smoke all over. We again booked a call, the service man came and replaced the motor which cost me. During this time, to our surprise we had identified that there is rust even inside also. I am pretty sure that this microwave is going to die in few days.

      I was wondering whether a product from a renowned company like IFB has a life of only 2 years. Anyway, if you can suggest something to linger the life of this microwave that would be very helpful.

        I have an IFB dishwasher purchased in September 2012, the dishes donot get washed properly and I am getting F5 error. I called customer care on Friday and lodged the complaint. Complaint number 10715762. I was informed a technician will visit my home within the next 48 hours. However I did get a call this morning and was told the technician will visit at 3pm today. But no technician has visited or called yet, when I called back the number from which I received the call, I was informed that the call has landed on some far away service branch and not on the thiruvanmiyur branch so they cannot send the technician. This is really pathetic! To add to the nonsense when I called customer care today, august 5 at 16.42hrs I was informed that the application is down and I have to call back after 4 hours!
        Now the reason I am writing this is that I just went through this whole rigmarole just last month when I relocated to chennai....you can check your systems.....the same issues....I called IFB customer care to register the complaint and same someone called informing a technician would visit but nobody turned up....then calling customer care repeatedly daily and they giving me lame excuses....finally IFB did a big favour on me and a technician visited me after 10 days of constant follow up and threatening to complain to the CEO!
        Please I donot want to go through the whole this again, I want to be spared....kindly send a technician to repair my dishwasher ASAP.

        dish washer ifb — not working

        Sir,
        i made a complaint to Vikas services about my non working condition of Dish washer on April 1 st 2008.A technician came and atteded the machine but he could not repair for want of spare.He said that he wanted to take the defective part to the company as a sample in order to get the ditto product from IFB Goa .After long persual he came one day and could not set right the machine because of mismatching of spare got from the factory.As on date one and three quarter months elapsed but the net result being negative.I request you to into this matter and get me back the machine in good working condition at the earliest possible time.

        IFB — Not spining

        My IFB machine 5.5kg (executive ) is not functioning properly.Its not spinning at all.Kindly advise me where should I contact as I am based at Chandigarh.

        IFB/Dishwasher — Dishwasher not working from last about 6 months.

        Our dishwasher broke down about 6 months ago. This product is under annual maintenance contract with IFB. Despite service personnel changing a few parts and even taking the dishwasher to their service centre; the machine did not work satisfactorily and broke down again about a week back. The complaint was again registered with the customer care centre but nothing has been done to repair it.
        It's almost 4 years and for every break down they are taking about two months to fix the problem. Either they don't know how to repair or passing AMC period or warranty period. We are very dissatisfied with IFB.

        IFB/Dishwasher — not working

        service is very poor,i had complained 3-4 months back but the service person did not repaired my m/s yet they are giving all excuses..the complaint is still pending,,now the warranty period got over last month ..and they are demanding for contract-or pay for it...i had given complaint well before the warranty period ..so they are cheating with customer..

          Hi,
          My IFB washing machine's power cable (cable connection washing machine to Power supply) is burnt. I registered a complaint, technicaian visited my house to rectify it. He said he has to replace the power cable and it cost Rs750. I am really surprised whether this smal power cable cost this much. Please suggest is this spare cost Rs 750 or IFB/technician is cheating me.

            Imy washing machine is under warranty. Your service center at ambala cantt called me nd offerred free maintenance. I accepted and mr rajat from the service center came and given descallant packets (Qty-02) and when these packet used in 40 degree program with empty drum. The shining of the drum has gone fully after program ended. I contacted mr rajat but he could not came to me. The steel looks very savy and i am totaly disappointed with such kind of maintenance. Please either replace the drum or do the needful to bring the machine drum in better condition. Thank you.

              I bought my washing machine last year. From February 2013 i am facing issues. Main problem is bearing replacement. So many complaint have given no use.Today also i called but no use. For every given complaint next day service person will come after checking they will say bearing need to change they will say they will bring it tomorrow or in a week but never they will bring.

              On 17/07/2013 Two service person came and changed the bearings after that it worked fine. But on 18/07/2013 we are facing new problem Once I press the START button water is loading after that no rotation just some noise only i am hearing. I called them and asked they said drum has to change.
              For bearing change you took 6 month now Drum change i don't how many month will take .I spent 32000 and brought this machine but with in a year itself we started washing the cloths by hands. Please correct the issues immediately or change the machine.

              IFB — IFB Washing machine Drum not rotating

              I bought IFB Elite 5KG fully automatic washing machine a week back(12th May) after couple of washes now the Drum is not rotating.(Though it is takes water inside)

              On Friday the 4th of September I had put 3 bath towels 2 hand towels and 2 jeans one pair of socks one shorts for a heavy wash the cycle ended up well until the Spin Dry action where the rotational spin in the drum stop functioning even though the machine was in operations. The only way it was known was when the cycle had got over I pulled the clothes out to and find out that the clothes had not gone through the spin dry and intense dry cycle so began the process again to spin dry and to my mere surprise the rotation of the machine had stoppped.

              Kindly get the machine complain attented as non of your customer care operators seem to pick the phone and thus this compain is lodged through this mail.

              IFB WASHING MACHINE — drum is not working

              i had buy your machine last year in MAY month. My Machine then also not working and your tech. guys hear temprory repaired it but just after couple of weeks it stop working and it was out of order for full 8 months.

              I also paid for AMC Rs. 2000/-. local people never came inspite of my so many calls. After so many complaints at your TOLL FREE number local people changed my drum a month back but it only work for just 15 days and again its not working.

              Since i own a busy Beauty Clinic, as we have to do a very heavy washing, so you can imagine our plight.

              Its my humble request you to take any action but If you are also unable to help me in this regards i will have to take some legal action through consumer court.

                  IFB Executive model — replacement of bearing

                  My IFB washing machine is under ASC for 2 Yearswhich expires on 31/3/2009. I am in chennai. For the past 1 1/2Yrs no preventive maintenance was carried down by the company.I have given complaint on 2/12/2008 and my complaint number is 2491464. After contacting Mr.Sivarajan Manager on 5/12/08 through phone no.[protected] a person was attendded on 6/12/08 and he informed that bearing was broken and replace ment of bearing, drum et will be sone on 8/12/08.Till date he has not turned up. The service engineer refused to give his cell number.I am in dark for the past 15 daysand no person has turned up so far.The manager at Chennai Mr.Sivarajan Ph.No.[protected] is not even attending the calls.I tried for the past 3 days and he has not at all attending the phone. I am not able to understand the reasion for this casual attitude. No higher official telepjhone number is availble for redressel. Immediate action is requjested.

                    Washing machine name - ifb senoritta dx 5.5kg.

                    Machine is running for more than 6 hours and not stopping. The net result we are unable to get the clothes dry. The condition of the clothes remains the same as it was there before washing. Since the machine runs for a long time the body of the machine is getting over heated. So when we switched it off and opened the machine the clothes are very hot which is unable to touch. Please send your service executive immediately for service.

                    IFB WASHING MACHINE — ABOUT SERVICE

                    Respected sir, my self vinod kumari r/0 kasganj near roshanlal halwai, your washing machine as a dream but this is very poor or your service is very... Bed. My self lost my 24500/- in it. 2months are giveing your company franchisi at agra but he never told me what is the problem. Please see it and send me a mail about its complaint

                    IFB/washing machine — poor product worse service

                    4 month old front loading washing machine.repeated complaints from the first week of installation.company only responds when you repeatedly call and threaten action.
                    the motor has burnt out and replacement made only after speaking at the highest level, when the motor was replaced i am told that other parts are also broken.these will be replaced later. i should have told them about this also. how am i supposed to know what is wrong??
                    terrible product which packs up in 4 months. and that too the top of the line product.

                    sir, we have two washing machines of ifb company, both are not working properly, we complained to the local service centre but nobody is attending our complaint properly. so please help us. im sending this from andhra pradesh, east godavary dst., kakinada.

                    IFB - Washing Machine — WORST PRODUCT & SERVICE IN THE MARKET

                    In july 2009 we bought ifb senator washing maching (Which is the biggiest mistake of my life) just after one month of purchase, machine stopped working. We lodgged the complaint and the engineer changed the new motor. How could the new motor be changed?
                    After one month of this, machine started giving problem again and than the engineer came and said the belt needs to be changed. Are you people trying to say that each and every part of the machine is faulty? Than please change the machine and give the new one.
                    Now, there is a problem of water leakage and dryer is not working. We have lodgged the complaint but the same is not getting attended.
                    In spite of lodging several complaints, company was unable to repair the machine properly. The warranty period is not yet expired. Ill response from the service centre today. Did not send a service personnel although commited to do so and compelling me to take leave from my ofice. No one cares for the customer. No number of the higher officials are available anywhere. Demending immediate redressal.

                    In each and every service some or the other part is getting changed. Is the company trying to say that each and every part of the machine is faulty? Than please change the machine and give the new one.
                    i'm an unhappy customer of IFB washing machine. there have been numerous complaints with my washing machine. when one complain is rectified the other crops up. i had lodged a complain on 31-10-09 comp.no.3690691 which was attended to and the belt and switch was replaced. the drier was not working. when enquired about this, i was asked to lodge a complaint once more. i lodged a complain on to 3-11-09 but was informed that my previous complain was not closed and that a technician will attend to it shortly. but it is still not attended to. this is a persisting issue and the service provided is unsatisfactory.

                    hello to all IFB sufferers,
                    i am also one of the IFB victims from Mumbai.
                    i own wash machine sinorita since 3 years. and from month one the machine started giving trouble.though the machine was under annual maintainance contract for two years; some major parts had be replaced quiet a couple of times. For the third year i declined the fruitless and pathetic AMC offer.
                    my grief is same as others. IFB"S SERVICE AND THEIR POOR PRODUCT. its pathetic. while lodging complaint once out of other numerous times i had also heard an excuse in rude and blunt tone at 3 pm that "i am having lunch, call later". After which the call went unanswered over and over again.This is a kind of profeciency IFB has while handling the complaints.
                    i feel as troubled consumers we must flood the IFB email box with our complaints as well. i have no clue if any IFB personnel is sorting these complaints at consumercomplaints.in
                    My advice would be get rid of this self-bought trouble named IFB wash machine somehow, and switch over to another brand with a good service. unless their sales get affetcted company is not going to wake up.

                    I register my complained on 29th Oct 2012 having complained no. - 5343912. Since then I am waiting and calling call center as well as service center in my city. But still no body visited my house for the repairing of my washing machine.

                    This is the standard of world class companies claiming the best service and the product.

                    Also in the website I send feedback but no body responded. Everytime they are telling with in 24 hrs technician will visit.

                    This is the response of the company employee.

                    So any body can decide about the this company.Better not purchase this product reason is After sale service is worst. Company response is zero.

                    IFB technicians have not been able to sove the technical problems in my 6 kg digital washing machine, in fact because of their inability to diganos the correct prolem, they have opend almost all the components one by one and created more and more problesm.
                    Due to their lack of skill and not having attitude of solving the problem, I am facing deep trouble at my home for washing clothes.
                    I have paid huge amount for the machine and services and I can say that they have cheated on their part for making all the false commitment all the time and are harrasing me since long.

                    ASKING SERVICE CHARGES WHEN ASKED ONLY FOR SAPERS

                    Ifb service centres are asking for servise charges thoough we need only spares ; but they are refusing to provide the only spares. If this type of marketing happen then ifb may loose the market due to anti marketing by customers.

                      My machine is under warranty. From the 5th journey of words when we switch on washing machine power trips off, we made a couple of attempt the result is same, our first approach was to call the electrician and check the home power supply which was found normal and all lights and appliances are working fine.

                      I am calling to customer care .They register the complaint and no one is coming.. I call almost daily to customer care ... Every time they say sorry for this, no one is coming I don't know what to do

                        I have purchased IFB Convention (Microwave)model BC25 in May'13. In June'13 the door of the convention was not working fine, for which i logged the complaint at there sevice center. After 5 days their representative came and take the door along & told us to change the door once the new one come from the company but no communication was there from there side. As we again contact the customer care center for the door then after 2 days the representative came with the same door and tries to fit forcefully.But we denied to do it.
                        From that day till now the door is unfitted as i complaint it again.

                          Hi,

                          I am from chennai and bought the washing machine from IFB and in the month of January the machine suddenly got fire and it was good luck that we were able to dose the fire witht he help of fire extinguisher from nearby super market as the water that we poured never doused the fire. That was a miraculous escape for all my family memebers.

                          We had complained to the IFB customer care and they sent a person to look at the damage. The person came and took the details and took photographs of the machine. i got the cotnact no and was contacting them for the replacement. They told that they will repair the machine and give. This was dragged for many days and later they informed that they would replace the machine. I was talking one called priya and she assured that the issue would be taken care but never resolved. One day a person called and informed that the approval has come and the machine would be delivered. However i am following for many days but nothing has happened. Now i also sms one called manoj who sent a msg informing that i woulod get replacement by 18th june and still now nothing happened. I am calling both priya and manoj but both never responded. I am wondering even after the approvals are done why there is delay in giving the replacement machine. I wish they reoslve the issue at the earliest.

                            our IFB washing machine is dead for the last three weeks, i informed to customer service centre at cochin, after one week they send a mechanic for inspection, he dismantled the machine and said no spares available for repair.we have been waiting for the past one week but no service has been provided till this day

                              We had a ifb washing machine for last 10 years and last year they persuaded for entering into amc. After much thought we entered into amc for a product which was working good. The technician made some regular service and it stopped working. After waiting for nearly 3 months, during which lot of service persons took turn to rectify it and finally said it cannot be repaired. They asked us to buy a new one by exchanging this.

                              Without any option, we bought a new one and right from day 1, the door was not locking properly. We kept complaining about the same and every time a technician comes, they say the model's door is that way and we should push harder. Yesterday, a technician came upon persisting that we want a better quality of door for such costly product and he says, we have damaged the door and it needs to be replaced at a cost.

                              What is happening with ifb??? This is ridiculous inspite of such a follow up with service centres to get the issue resolved, they are demanding that the product will not be attended to unless we pay - it is not even 6 months.

                              Now a senior manager (Who claims to be) named some priya shouts at us and dares us to go for consumer court if required. Such is is the plight of ifb and do not buy any of their products.

                              In india, no one fears law of the land and big companies like ifb give a free hand to their service agents to talk to any extent, so that only one in thousand may go to court, whom they can handle easily and can keep earning from the rest 999. Ridiculous!!

                                I am thinking of joining PGDBO course at IFBI Hyderabad(Basheerbagh).I have heard several complaints about IFBI.                                 Guys...I had seen few complaints about IFBI for locations other than Hyderabad. But I could strongly assist IFBI located in Hyd (Bhasheerbagh) is a good one to join. I done my training here and now posted as Banking officer at ICICI Towers Gachibowli.. PBDBO program is really a right choice for job aspirants. I am assuring about only PGDBO and not others like PGDB+ and all on which I absolutely don't have any knowledge to suggest. If you are really scare with fee structure than go for EMI loan options with which you can come to know the intensity of their promises. Vertex point to noted is I am not disgusting about other programs rather saying I don't have any idea so please don't get any negative impression on other programs with my feedback.

                                I had have a worse situation when I about to join IFBI as I got with bad comments when google out but with a heavy heart I was stepped in but now I am happy as I got into ICICI. Don't waste your time by keep on thinking whether to join or not, just have your slippers and walk into bank branches to get confirmed. No one will knock our door to guide us, we have to make a move to know the facts.

                                  There is no solution till date & machine become idle. Requested to solve the problem urgently.
                                  Service in Aurangabad (MS) is very poor since we have a more than 15 Machines & all are in AMC.

                                        I purchased ifb eva sx washing machine on[protected]. On[protected] company technician came, gave demo and the very first wash launched and he left my house.

                                        After completion of wash, as per his instructions i tried to unplug the water pipe adopter. The whole adopter came out of pipe. I tried to fit it to pipe, but the screws are not working. I am not able to fit it.

                                        On[protected] i registered complaint with company by phone.

                                        On[protected] company technician came, examined and he said like this: this adopter is out of work and the company will not replace it as it will not come under warranty/guaranty. I astonished after hearing these words.

                                        I invested rs 26, 500/- for ifb washing machine (Including accessories)

                                        I think i am the foolest person in this world who invested rs 26, 500/- for washing of just 5 pairs of dress.
