I have purchased IFB washing machine knowing of its good product and service. But I am facing all problems right now. I purchased Senorita washing machine before 2.5 years and faced board replacement 3rd time in row now !!...This time i am totally devasted by the poor response for service. I booked my compliant mid Dec 2012 and yet to have my machine repaired. I had to follow up daily to customer care or the mechanics or their supervisors. I end reaching them after a long time dialing and just to hear NO STOCK of board yet. I am hearing the same for 3 months !!....The worst part is my complaint gets auto closed and i had to create a new complaint again. Any escalation through Customer care # is also of no use...they assure of a call back with solution..but I reached no call from customer care till now....Let them replace the board or replace the machine....Poor quality in board and frustrating after sales service...

IFB washing machine Senorita — Poor Servicing and poor quality of machine

My IFB washing machine is under AMC. in December Ist week 2010 i had problem with the machine and it was not working. I had given complaint and the customer care executive had replied that the complaint would be attended within 48 hours. but nobody turned up and only after our repeated calls to the call centre and local chennai office a service engineer attended it after 15 days. now not even one month has passed by we are again facing the problem. the clothes are not at all squeezed properly for which we have made a complaint.
Moreover this is not the first time we are having problems with the machine. Once in every two months our machine is not working and we have to call the customer care and book complaint. not only that we have to keep on calling them. This is happening from the date of purchase of washing machine.

      I also want to add a comment in this regard. I made a complaint to request for a service on 23rd Jan 2013. But till today(Jan 30, 2013) there is not even a call regarding the service. IFB customer service is really pathetic. They don't show any shame in the poor way they treat their customer. I feel like I have made the biggest mistake in life by buying the product.

      my washing machine is not working
      I HAVE CALLED @CUSTOMER CARE OF IFB [[protected]] FOR COMPLAIN OF MY IFB WASHING MACHINE ON 9TH MARCH,2010, AND THEN AFTER FIVE TIMES REMIND FOR MY COMPLAIN BUT TILL TODAY [[protected]], NO ANY CONTACT AND RESPONCE FROM IFB SERVICE STATION..

      IFB — Bad service

      Hi I am Devamanokar i got an IFB washing machine the warranty period got over and i was forced to get an AMC that is extended warranty. After purchasing that AMC my machine struck up with some problem and i have been registering complaints for the past 5 months but there is no reply from them so please help me out with this.
      Well this is certainly a faster response than expected. Though action without words are of no use. My expectations are very low now. As expected there was some conversation with the customer service agents as well as some "senior" agents and there was promises of calling back regarding the action of the complaint but no one made the attempt. I believe they are of the opinion that if you keep quiet the matter will die out. As a layman I don't know why IFB is spending money on a department like this. It is certainly a waste. They have no control over the franchise. IFB need to streamline this process for sure.

      Well as of today (31 Jan 2013), the franchisee called and promised a 4 pm appointment was not met. I am waiting to be served. That is my fate and maybe of many others.

          IFB WASHING MACHINE — Third Class Service

          Hi,

          My IFB washing machine is underwarranty and needs a door lock replacement. I logged a complaint on 7th June and It is already a month (9th July) and it is still not rectified. Complaint no. is 1841937. Whenever I make a call to Call Centre/Service Centre they say that it will done today... and I am waiting for today to come. They are always ready with the excuses like Engineer is ill or we don't have parts. These guys hardly pick the phone and I am not able to find a single contact where I can escalate this.

          Moral of the Story is ... Never purcahse any IFB product...
          Sorry to say local service Agency is just not co-operative, despite repeated phone calls, absolutely no feed back.

            Sub: Non locking of IFB washing Machine Elena Door – reg.
            Sir,
            I purchased a washing machine IFB Elena vide bill no CA/SLMG/12030 on 5/8/2006 at Girias Electronics Salem.
            Till date I did not come across any major problems in the machine. Of course there were few minor problems such as input water level reduced etc and were sorted out when needed. On 20/11/2012 there was a problem with the door and I immediately informed to the customer care and after two days i.e on 22/11/2012 the person from Salem service center visited my house and checked the problem and he said the door lock was broken and he changed it immediately the door’s outer and inner frame and he charged Rs.1117/= vide Bill no.2707 Dated: 22/11/2012 for Rs.780/= and invoice no.30905 dated 22/11/2012 for Rs. 337/=.

            Within two months, again I came across the same problem – the lock was not properly working. Complaint was made regarding this on 22.1.2013. After attending the complaint it was told that the door lock has to be replaced again and it will cost around Rs.1200/=.
            So far I have not come across such problem in the brand and it was quite comfortable for us. The machine is a single user machine and after the purchase of 6 years, first time the door lock has been replaced. But within two months, again the same problem is repeated means we doubt on the quality of door lock set replaced.
            If it is available on such poor quality then do we have to spend Rs.1200 for every 2 or 3 months? It is not at all affordable and absurd also. Then there is no meaning in keeping such branded machine where quality of spares does not exist.
            I request you to look into this matter and arrange to solve the problem at the earliest.

              I had bought ifb senorta 6kg sx 100rpm model washing machine 3 months back.It suddenly stopped working 10 days back.service enginner says that due to rat bite internal board got damaged and its repair cost is not coverd under warranty.But my contention is that since the model already comes with inbuilt feature of protective rat mesh there is no chances of getting damaged by rat.but there is no response from the service center.my complaint no with ifb is 10357631

                All I have this complaint 10311281 # and customer code - 622603 with me and the piece of junk at home , which is now totally useless for last one month, and no body from IFB is bothered to contact or to service it.

                Dont want to mention Long story here, if you have little sense of customer sensitivity, pl revert and repair.

                I was a proud owner of washing machine since last 5+ years and have been recommending people to use this product but now i have lost my patience on this. I also own IFB Micro wave, but now i think its time to move onn.

                Request to have this addressed because i have paid for this as a part of extended warranty.

                    I have ifb a 20pg3s microwave,i have been calling the service centre from 23rd novembr2012,n the company doesn't seem to take any responsibility after selling their products,evrytime I call there n they say they will send someone today,it was a big mistake to purchase this microwave from ifb,its the worst service ever,n the shameless people don't even feel sorry in making fool of people,i will suggest evryone not to go for this particular company's products,there after sales is pathetic,they even sell d spares at a cost more than d orignal cost of their products,don't know what to do now,thinking of sellin the micro in scrap now,coz this pathetic company is so reckless n unaware of customer relationships,

                      The machine stopped functioning & it is a week now since the complaint was booked with the centralized customer care of IFB. After several telephonic followups on my part, the call was attended & I was informed that the motor needed to be changed - but the problem is still unresolved. The service centre incharge Mr. Mahendra does not receive my call & does not seem bothered to redress the issue. The technicians do not appear to be adequately trained & there is absolutely no dedication to resolving customer complaints.

                      Very poor after sales service, especially for a product that is more expensive than others in the same league.My machine has been faulty for more than 3 weeks, clothes piling up and no one is bothered to fix it. The company is not providing the board that needs to be replaced is the message you get from the service center.

                      IFB — AFTER SALES SERVICE

                      I own IFB Washing m/c - DIVA Model. This machine went down on 26.01.2011. I launched complaint with customer care & loddge complaint no. 53527348 assuring it will be attended within 24 working hours. Company's representative visited m/c & found power supply card faullty. M/c is still lying idle due to want of spares from IFB..This type of customer service IFB is providing for which necessary actions needs to be taken.

                        The Diswasher needed repairs. It is under an AMC. One week after the engineer had done a site inspection and submitted his report regarding the repairs the machine was picked up. Now it is three weeks and the machine has not been returned after repairs. The call center of the IFB company simply keeps giving the phone number of the local executives. Local executives don't pick up the phone. Am at a total loss on what to do and how to get the machine back.

                          We purchased an ifb washing machine before 3 years. Date of purchase : 12th august 2009
                          Ifb washing machine have 2 years guarantee. We paid rs.2007 last year 11.05.2012 for amc and it is valid till 10.05.2013. Cust code : 8816177. Serial number 5787. Now my washing machine is working however when i turn on the machine it moves automatically and it give us a very huge sound and my front door lock is broken. I called customer service of ifb in the month of december and spoke to senior agent like ravi, nirmal, amit, abhishek they said it will resolve within 48 hrs. Every after 48hrs i repeatedly calling ifb they said the same like a ivr it will be resolved within 48 hrs. My first

                          IFB Washing machine — Machine is broken down , under warranty

                          I have an IFB washing machine which is under repair since[protected], under warrenty.I had registered complaints since[protected], but there is no respond till today.The machine is not working uptill today. I have also given lot of telephone calls to the nearest service centere ( kallambalam , tvm. dist).They are ignoring my calls.

                          I have purchased one IFB sanorita washing machine on July 2010, and October month itself is started to giving the complaint of not getting On , after calling the customer service they just come and cleaned the switch panel board and informed me that their servicing is over after that incident hardly one month again this same problem is started .I have given complaint to so many telephone no like customer care , their area manager Vinay , one Sakuthatla etc but no one is attending the complaint) .They used to tell good excuse like within a hour it will be done etc , but never do any thing .
                          (My complaint no to Bangalore call center 5579206 dated on 18 dec 2010 at 1000am , Mr. Naiaz ahamad , and further again given complaint to Mr. Vasudeva and Mr. Naizahamad at 1600 hrs on 20 Dec 2010 , but no one is attending the my complaint., please help me repair my machine .)

                          donot purchase IFB products, becouse their services are too poor
                          have to introduce myself as the unlucky owner of a IFB washing machine.

                          We have been facing frequent breakdowns and major issues with the machine immediately after we bought it.
                          To make sure the machine was repaired by authorised people ONLY, we entered into a AMC with the IFB franchisees
                          in Chennai. Its only then we realised that the franchisee promptness only related to collection of the AMC cheques.
                          Calls made to their call centres always gave us dates & times which were never honoured. Secondly, evertime they
                          came over they started preparing bills apparently for items which were not covered under the AMC.

                          In the instant case, our machine broke down in end jan and we were calling the call centre everyday. Unfortunately
                          no technician came in and after many more calls to their Chennai office someone finally came on the 16th of Feb.
                          The local office of IFB or its franchisee is headed by one Mr Shiva who is the most irresponsible person I have
                          come ever across. Either he is trying to single handedly close the IFB company or ensure that its goodwill is
                          permanently lost.His appointment also surprised me as how a company with the IFB tag could have appointed such a callous, irresponsible person as its head.

                          What is also surprising, the technician after examining the machine proudly claimed that a paricular part was broken and not covered under the AMC (his usual tactic to start preparing a 4 digit invoice). When he was shown
                          that the particular part had broken down earlier a year or so back and was covered individually under warranty,
                          he immediatley tried to shy away saying that it was not a IFB authorisd franchisee. When he was shown the warranty
                          he surprisingly did a volte face, and said that the part was only dirty and merely had to be cleaned. After cleaning the part seemed to work properly and the washing machine appears to be ok

                          What is shocking is the attitude of the IFB franchisees to ensure that the customer is forced to pay a substantial sum even after entering into a AMC contract with the company authorised people. We feel cheated and and let down
                          by the attitude of the company. Their anxiety to purposely replace components (which need not be replaced) will given the company a bad name. On the other hand the local authorised service stations or their personnel will sell the components to other customers and do illegal trading at the company's expense.

                          Nevertheless, we have been very disspapointed wiht the way things have shaped out for us with IFB company.

                          IFB — NO RESPONSE

                          I parched to the IFB Washing MC, this MC Now AMC going on but last 3 months I give to the complaint on response
                          I own a IFB front load washing machine senator model bought 7 years ago customer id 1251871. My washing machine fails in drying clothes and the garments remain water clogged. Made a complaint last Friday and they gave me a 24 hr commitment. Nobody called. Yesterday I called again to check and they gave me a second commitment of 2pm. Nobody has called me yet to check the status and my washing machine is lying without any use. The customer service is pathetic and I am totally frustrated with a complete silence from the authority.

                            dear sir,

We've also talked to the respected person incharge n walked to servece center, but no action wz taken by him in this context, even he did nt bothered to come n examine the machine at our place..
                            he hardly picks his phone or if do so,then he always say to come n see on the next day;
                            But all in vain....

                              I purchased a microwave of IFB and after 1 yr it was faulty and I called cust care.
                              Complaint ticket no.10310979
                              I registered the complaint on 20 December2012.
                              Engineer came on 22 nd and told us that magnetron is faulty.
                              Now started my horror story. Till 24 th morning there was no contact from IFB side. I came after 48 hrs of duty in hospital and my wife reminded me about the faulty machine. I could not find the papers and called c care and then somebody mr Raman in Delhi and emailed also. But he told me it is not possible. In an hour I found the papers and called mr Raman and c care to inform in an hour. Then somebody called me in the evening regarding email and I informed her also. She and mr Raman told me it will be done by Tom. Then nobody called for 2 days. I again started calling everyday. Then they told me that part is not available in delhi. So it is being brought down from goa. Alright.
                              Then it became more interesting. Each and everyday I was told by cust care that it will be done Tom. But these people are typical indian govt. I thought being such a wonderful company they are bringing the magnet with utmost safety in a bullock- cart with z security, so lets give them sm time.
                              Finally after 10-12 days, I thought the bullock must have arrived. I again started calling. Talked to sm so called 'senior officer' also. But it seems everything is a sham here.
                              Then on 3rd of jan 2013 after suffering for 15 days I got to talk with supervisor 'Mr Ravi rathore' who gave me 'one day guarantee', which is a company policy to make fool out o[censored]s loser customers.
                              But see I am so right about this company. Nobody came even then.
                              I called cus care and connected to mr R Rathore. He told me since you don't have the papers branch has returned ur complaint.
                              Nobody came nobody saw nobody called and yet their 'antaryami' engineer finally proved that customer is 'the fool'

                              I again wrote a mail on 4 th detailing my horrific experience, no reply.
                              Somebody called in the afternoon of 5 th and told me it will be 'done'
                              Nobody came so I called in the evening again and got the shock of my life that my complaint was cancelled.

                              Plz don't buy any IFB products. They might be good but their service is ............. Non existent


                              I am not going to call this company. I will purchase a new microwave from LG or something and hope they have sm sort of service.

                                  I own an IFB Senorita washing machine since year 2001. I am stationed at Patna (Bihar, India) since October 2011.

                                  I never had any difficulty with the machine till April 2012, when it started making a very harsh sound. I called the customer care and received a mechanic who after checking the machine, changed its bearing. The machine worked well till August 2012, when again the same noise resurfaced. Once again we called the customer care. This time the mechanic suggested to change the drum along with the bearing. He informed that the parts were not available at the service centre at the time and he will come again with the parts.

                                  Since that day we are in waiting for any further action or service or information from your service centre or any authorized person regarding our complaint.

                                  During this period (August 2012 to December 2012) we have made several contacts with the customer care of IFB and have lodged two formal complaints as well with it, the details following………... Complain No-9679721, dated 10/10/2012 and again Complain No-9981031, dated 08/12/12.

                                  During this whole period, we received numbers and varieties of excuses, but no service at all.

                                  I have tried being very mild and patient while writing this final complaint to you, whereas my feelings are anything but mild.

                                  My request to anybody interested in proper service and name of the company is to kindly look into the matter and resolve the issue before it impacts your name and market demand.

                                  One more concern and query of mine – Is the spare ball bearing of IFB designed so as to serve for the period of its warranty only?

                                  IFB WASHING MACHINE — Customer service

                                  I bought an IFB washing machine from Next electronics in T.nagar, Chennai, TN on 06/08/2009. Price of the washing machine was Rs.11, 800. Next electroincs people said that demo will be given in next two days. IFB people called me on 08/08/2009 and asked me to get stand worth for Rs.1200 and deom charge for Rs 360. I would like to know whether any company would charge for demo if we get their own company products. I asked for the reason they respond back very rude. Next electronics people mentioned that demo would be done for free. IFB people bheviour is so bad...Is this way a international brand company do???

                                    I have Serena washing machine purchased in Mid 2011 with 4 years guarantee.

                                    The machine is not working fine with respect to the amount of vibrations and it doesnt remain stable at its place at all. IFB appliances told us to buy stand and then they also told to buy rubber grip from them. They made us purchase these things, and even then the machine isnt working fine.

                                    IFB technician did visit our home, he said he 'fixed' the problem. He himself loaded the machine with clothes and went away since the machine normally takes 2.5 hours to complete one wash cycle. But the machine started vibrating badly at the end of cycle.

                                    Tried reaching IFB again and again after that, and they say there is no problem with the washing machine at all!

                                    They are not even ready to come and see the product. Not even calling back the customer after repeated complaints.

                                    This is so unfortunate that a company like IFB is not sticking to its standards and I as a customer is highly dissatisfied and perplexed with it.
                                    I booked a complain on 6th June 2013 with complain number “10898297”, and reminded at call center (phone number : [protected]) six to seven times.
                                    I also tried to call the local service centre (BHOPAL service center at 3299114) which is always switched off, and the other number “[protected]” after all the application adds gets disconnected automatically.
                                    I also contacted Mr. Anil Parasar(at [protected]) the IFB in charge of Bhopal region six to seven times, as per whom Mr. Aunj Malviya who have the franchises is the focal for me,
                                    On contacting four times to Mr.Anuj (at[protected], he is telling me he do not have the man force and so he is helpless!!!
                                    What do expect me to do now? It’s almost a month now and you are telling me you do not have work force? And giving me a new complain number?
                                    I have taken AMC(Annual Maintenance Contract) from April-13 to April-15 and this how you are facilitating us?
                                    Either take a quick action against my complain or else I have to go to consumer court for justice and such a ignorant behavior of your company and the employs.
