I logged my complaint on 27th November. IFB customer care executive promised me that they will resolve my complaint within 24 hrs but now seven days are going to complete but not a single technician approached me for my issue. Can you do something for this?

    On 22-OCT-2012, I raised a complaint for the washing machine that it gives huge sound when the drum rotates. The machine itself moves from the actual place due to the drum rotation as it hits on the sides. A customer care person took the complaint, provided a complaint number[protected] and said that a service engineer will come the see the washing machine within 24 hrs. I was also said that the machine is still under warranty. The next day a service engineer just called to us but didn't reach the house to see the machine.

    Then on 25-OCT-2012, I again called the customer care. A person named Muthu picked up the call. I said that I raised a complaint on 22-OCT-2012 and provided him the complaint number. Muthu said that because of pooja holidays, the engineer was unable to visit and provided a new complaint number 9659401. He also said the same "Service engineer will come the see the washing machine within 24 hrs". I also asked Muthu about the warranty of the machine. He said its still under warranty. But this time no one called and no one visited my house to look at the washing machine.

    Then on 29-OCT-2012, I again called the customer care. A person named Mahesh picked up the call. I said him the same reason and provided the above two complaint numbers. He said Sorry, and said that he will mark this complaint with high importance and send to the higher officials also. He also said that the problem will be cleared today i.e. 29-OCT-2012. I also asked Mahesh about the warranty of the machine. He said its still under warranty. No one turned up.

    On 20-Nov-2012, a engineer from IFB visited the machine. He said that the machine's warranty has been completed. Some parts got damaged in the machine which has to be replaced. It would cost around Rs. 4600, paying which the parts will be replace within a week. He said that he will provide his mobile number. After this I asked, Why should I pay for the damaged parts if the complaint raised was at the time of warranty and you people have visited the house after the warranty is completed. I asked him that, have you planned for this that the machine will be visited only after the warranty gets completed. He said that the for the previous complaint number "9659401" engineer have visited the machine and closed the complaint, I said no one have visited the machine. He said that mistaken has been committed from your side, we apologise for this. Then I said why should I pay for your mistake. I said him to replace the parts as per warranty, then I will avail a AMC. He said no you have to pay for the damaged parts. At last he said that he will confirm with the office people and get back to us. I asked his phone number he did not provide saying he will confirm with the office and then he will provide the phone number.

    On 30-Nov-2012, I called the care again. The engineer said the call will be escalated to the seniors and a callback will be made.

    IFB — Washing Machine - Service Not Provided

    I am using IFB washing machine from last 2 years. My washing machine is covered under extended warranty which is valid upto 10/05/2010.

    My washing machine is not working from last 2 week/. I complained on Oct 20, 08 to the call centre with complaint ID 2320580.

    Since then I have made number of calls & also lodged the complaint on net but there is no response from IFB side.

    IFB — Machine not returned from service

    We bought an IFB Dishwasher Zephyr EX model no:06.[protected] on 13/7/2008 from Girias
    Electronics, Coimbatore. The service technicians here took the machine for service 15th June 2009. Its still not been returned.

    Further, we've been having trouble with the machine from the start. The programs dont work properly and the cleaning is not good. The drier also does not work.

    IFB — SERVICE NOT PROVIDED PROPERLY.

    The washing functions were not properly working.The machine used to get hang at 23 min.The engineer of your company did not do a satisfactory job.The lower panel of the machine was broken by your engineer.I even tried to contact to AHMEDABAD branch, but they too dint reply.I kindly request you to pay attention to this and provide the required service.

    After the call from IFB, engineers came to my house and tried to clear the defects. But they were unsuccessful. On 15-DEC-2012, the engineer called his senior. The senior person called me and said that this issue will be cleared by Tuesday (18-DEC-2012). After 15-Dec-2012, no engineer has visited my house. Please clear this issue or replace the machine.

    Another engineer came to my house on 25-DEC-2012 and inspected the machine. He said the parts which have replaced are not for this machine. Wrong parts are replaced. He said he will return with the correct parts on 25-DEC-2021 evening and replace those with the actual parts. Till today 31-DEC-2012 he has not returned. We are being fooled by saying these mentioned words and being waiting for nearly 2 months. Yet the problem is not resolved and we are still waiting.

    I request you to replace the actual parts. We are been waiting for a long time.

      Basic fact is that.... such institutions can not provide 100% placement to every student who joins it.
      even after getting placed you will be under probation period.. like public banks do when they recruit for PO, n when your term gets end you are out with your bag,still looking for career. its very difficult to get placed in a company like icici. for eg. there would be 100s of student who will be learning or completing such course from ifbi institute, so think now, is it possible that all 100s will get placed with icici, answer is no.
      may be top scoring student will get an opportunity to work with icici, rest of all could only dream about it....
      if you think you are the topper..and have the potential to be among the top 5 then such courses and such institutions are always worthy of money.

      Ifbi people say they conduct separate interview for ifbi candidates for KVB manager post. If we clear that exam, we will be provided 1 month training course for rs35000, then placement. is it true? Now am jobless . is it worth doing.. am from chennai. they say exam on jan 6..pls help

      As an acquaintance of someone who has done PGDBO program from 2 different centers, I can confirm that someone who clears IFBI program as per guideline mention (mentioned in offer letter), do join ICICI program.
      Since I have my real sister who wanted to do this program, I was following this religiously and collected feedback. They say after IFBI PGDBO program, candidates do join ICICI and infact when asked for some placed candidates details, some numbers and locations were shared with us. And we got in touch with them to know the exact story. Also I did visit some IFBI branch in Punjab where IFBI candidates were placed which cleared by doubts. I feel IFBI is genuine as they have shared some newsletter and hall of fame on their website. DO visit. Also you can do a check on ifbi/[protected]@niit.com

        Following my earlier posting on poor response to customer complaints, I would like to record here that the executives of IFB Industries in Chennai are blissfully ignorant about what is going around in different wings of their organisation while promising to cater to customer needs. Last week, I had agreed to taka an Elite series Washing machine from them, in replacement of ADMIRAL 7012 W with whose performance I was thoroughly disappointed, paying up whatever differences in price it may mean. They agreed to deliver the machine on Monday the 26th Nov. I had requested them to defer the delivery to 30th Nov for personal reasons. They readily agreed. On Wednesday I checked up with them regarding the price difference.They had not taken a call on that. This morning(30th Nov), at 10.22,, when I called up I was informed that the machine will be delivered today and the price difference of Rs 1000-/- can be paid up after I test the machine for a few days. On my expected lines --definitely not a surprise since I am used to such goo[censored]ps by IFB--I was informed at 12.40 that the machine was out of stock and in a week's time a piece will be available!!. When asked how come two hours earlier I was given a different story, the executive was at pains to explain. I was sold a story that the machine which they wanted to deliver on 26th had been sold to another customer in between 26th and 30th and the executive was UNAWARE of the same when I had spoken at 10.22 hrs. I have also recived a mail from the executive that they will try to deliver a machine in a week failing which they will refund my money. What does this mean? Are they not sure about themselves or are they trying to lead me up the garden path? No other manufacturer from whom I had purchased any household appliance or gadget had failed me so badly or disappointed me so much in all my life. Either the work culture at IFB has taken a nosedive or the present band of executives are not delivering the goods, I can be reached on[protected] and/or[protected].

          IFB WASHING MACHINE — Not Yet Installed

          We have come to pune recently and we bought a new IFB washing machine from Croma Store.
          The machine was delivered immediately, but it has been around 12 days and no IFB person has come yet to install the product. we are at inconvinience.
          We purchased IFB washing m/c (front loading) and brought it to Dehradun. We need to get it installed but we do not have any contact address. Your toll number does not work. Please help.

            have purchased new microwave oven and called your helpline for demo and registration, it was dated 13th Nov with a demo number 10239828.

            From that day I have been calling your HD and service centre team but there is no response. The call centre says we have forwarded this call to nearest service team while as service team denies this. I haven calling to many people including Ms. Abha on [protected]/76 , one service Manager having phone number [protected], however their phones kept raining without answer. I even sent many messages to them but no revert/action

            This was my first product from IFB and I felt good when I bought the same, however this feeling could not long last due to service delivery failure . Now I feel pain & cheated to have taken IFB product.

            So many days have passed, first of all it should have been addressed in auto mode , but disappointed to know that even after follow up you team did not turned up

            Now since so many days have passed the craze of having new product have diminished , I do not need any demo, would request to let me know how can I return your product and how refund of my money would happen

            Nevertheless, I shall update your feedback on consumer forum so that people are aware about the services rendered by your company

              NEVER EVER BUY AN IFB PRODUCT. 1ST CLASS PRODUCT WITH 3RD CLASS SERVICE SUPPORT.

              In my 30sc2 microwave, Start & stop keys are not working and complaint to your customer care was given on 27-09-09 Cust No. 1475716 & complaint No. 3547264. Now the microwave is fully not working. Till date[protected] no body has turned up. This is a repeat from IFB service that a compliant is attended after many requests. Previously problem was attended after a month. In a year if your product is useless for a month then what is the use of purchasing it. A complaint was lodged in IFB site also previously. I am fed up with IFB. I have recommended all by family & friends never to purchase any IFB product. Yours is heights of 3rd class service.
              I bought IFB Elena SX 6 KG in september 2012 from Pune Central. It is less than a year and the motor of the machine was acting up making the machine jump atleast 5 inches from the ground while spinning, so much that the machine has broken itself already. The front door is broken and the water was spilling out and the back side of the machine is also broken. One leg of the machine was broken. The service engineer from IFB came to repair the machine and has managed to break the door completely and the machine is not even usable now. Harshali Ugale, the region head of Pune area was the person being tried to contact by the IFB customer care and for 3 days she was either not answering her phone half the times or she was reachable by customer care but she did not bother to call me. Finally when I lost my temper, she came on the phone and she asked for 24 hrs to check what can be done. Next day she called me and told me that she can neither repair, replace or refund. I have lost Rs. 23, 000 on this garbage product which I bought thinking that I was going to get value for my money.



              NEVER EVER BUY AN IFB PRODUCT!

                I had purchased an ADMIRAL 7012 W --installed on 24th October. The timings of washing cycle indicated for different settings are highly unreliable. The balance time left in the cycle change erratically from 1 to 22 minutes, 12 to 24 minutes etc etc. Machine goes into an eternal spinning cycle once it reaches ' 1 minute left'. Water does not get completely drained even after reaching 'End'. The machine was replaced. The...

                Washing Machine — No response of service complaint

                Dear Sir,

                No response of service complain

                Many of the consumer durables that we use are from VIDEOCON. As they have not given any trouble we were very happy and recommended the same to many.

                Now that some of them like the washing machine which we use regularly started giving trouble, we wanted it to be repaired and serviced only by the qualified and company appointed technicians.

                My Father loged complaint on[protected] with service number [protected]. After few days a person called chandu came, checked and told the problem is with the water tub and took 250/- from my dad. After that there is no updates from your service. Every day My Father will make call to them and get assurance that problem will be solved today but that "today" has never come till date.

                I sincerely hope that you will take up this matter and direct your authorised service center people to help me out and do the needful.

                    we have been using an IFB Microwave Oven since a year. The product is not working since a month. I called customer care and registered a complaint(Complaint no:[protected] on 28th Oct. It has been more than 20 days , no engineer has come to repair the product since then. I have called the customer care several times, and came to know that they have closed the ticket. I am still waiting for a call from IFB and their service.

                      I am using an IFB washing Machine(Eleena) for the last 10 years and recently a year back i.e on 28-12-11 took AMC Serial No.11475 Dt.28-12-11 with a hope that the company technicians would do better rather than a private technician with original spare parts. The machine was down on 16-11-12. I made a complaint on 16-11-12 calling the customer care center and the complaint No. given by them is 10172764. The technician came after 5 days ie on 21-11-12 and identified the problem was unlocking of the door and also stated that the rubber gasket in front of the door was worn out and need replacement also. He said that he will come again on the next day and left. On continuous pursuance the technician came after 3 days at night at 6.30 p.m and re-placed the door lock and said that he has requisitioned for the rubber gasket as it is not readily available. Although more than 22 days have lapsed the technician did not turn up and therefore I contacted all relevant people including Mr.Rajesh the manager of the local Francaise and Mrs.Uma the owner of the local franchise i.e Blue diamond services Akkayapalem Vizag and also the Branch Co-coordinator Mrs. Kalyani at Hyderabad and Mr.Bharat in-charge of 3 districts i.e. visakhapatnam, srikakaulam and vizianagaram but all my efforts turned to be in vain as non of these people responded till date, no technician has turned up till date. Particularly the local franchise officials do not even answer the calls,neither do they take the calls nor do they call back. The AMC is likely to expire by 27-12-12.The concerned responsible people are so irresponsible in solving the complaints,and they do not show any interest in resolving the complaints, but they seam to be more interested in securing AMCs from the customers rather than attending to the repairs.I think they are intentionally avoiding the repair as they have to replace these parts free of cost since the warranty includes re-placement of rubber and plastic parts. The IFB service is very pathetic and none of the people respond including the higher personal concerned.                       I am very much thankful to the IFB Management particularly Mrs/Miss. Divya the IFB executive who called me from their Goa factory on the very next day, the complaint was filed. Her initiative and consistent pursuance made the local franchise service Center to attend the repair within two days from the date the complaint was placed on the web. In fact I was to write this immediately after the 2nd day, the repair was undertaken, but due to my ill-health, being a senior citizen I could not do that.. This shows the company cares about their customers but they should educate and advise their local franchises to be more cautious in providing service to the customers instead of bringing bad reputation to a good product and to the company. Finally I thank Mrs/Miss. Divya and also consumercomplaints.in with whose efforts the problem pending for over 22 days was resolved.

                        don't purchase IFB items. service is poor. we will have to call "call centers" and they are not answering properly. I have purchased IFB washing machine from VASANTH&CO and they say the service person will come and install. next day some service man came and tried to sell iron remover powder etc. two days after the machine was not running. Vasanth&co say we do nothing and further say try the call center. third day he came and remove the front main switch knob and remove thousands of small insects from the switch box. Vasanth&co said as the machine was in go down possibilities of insects going inside is common. three years the machine run and now give troubles. again I am calling the call center and waiting for that unknown man looking at the door. don't purchase IFB items please. ashokha.com

                            My machine broke into fumes on 5th September evening threatening to burn the wiring as well since, then I started making efforts to register my complaint on the IFB toll free with no success. Luckily the local area office helped me register my complaint on the 7th with a complaint number:3504330. Though an attendant came to visit us that day declaring that the motor was burnt but with no further implementation. Since then all our efforts have gone to drain and my machine stands still.
                            Till yesterday the local area office people convinced us each day that the job will be done the same day, but today it was declared after a heated conversation that they were helpless as they did not have a motor to replace and the job will be only done on Tuesday that is on diwali which we doubt. We have always maintained the AMC contracts and even this year we made a two year Amc for our machine. My AMC number is 64865.
                            Inspite of this we are unsuccessful in getting any service from the service center. With diwali on head we already had many cleaning jobs handy which waits for the machine servicing. With great inconvenience we now doubt when our machine will get corrected. We are highly disheartened with the loose services provided to us and wonder how a big company like IFB does not maintain enough leisure for servicing at the service stations.
                            I would request the higher authorities to look into the matter and provided a soon and contending response against our AMC contracts.

                              I have already complaint about IFB dishwasher few days ago. But only I recieved a call from Bhopal asking what happen? but again not any call and no any visit. These company people are irritating me.

                              I lodged a complaint for my W/M on 2-11-11, at the centralized complaint centre.
                              Firstly nobody comes for few days,then after a lot of persuation & calling different ph. nos. given by the ever apologitic call centre empolyee (since they know their service pattern),some technician comes on a cursory visit,announces some part as defective & needs replacement. He goes away only to return after a lot of persuation again,announces that spares are NOT available. Even if a part is changed,still the machine does not work. Reason-some other part is defective.He would go back again with the promise to come as soon as part is made available to him.
                              Net result - my W/M is still not working,we rue the moment we decided to purchase it.
                              Will someone in the Hierarchy look into the misdeeds of their employees ?
                              It is over a month & we do not get extended AMC for the period lapsed,owing to companie's failures !

                              I am totally unsatisfied with the service of your product. I register complain for my washing machine on 18.7.12 no. 9238406 such complain was not attended for 8 days after several followup untrained engineer come with the excuse that franchise change that is why this delay happens. He repair it and next day same problem occurs then again i register complain on 29.7.12 complain no. Is 9298783 after several followup today 3.8.12 service engineer attend complain and he says that there is a problem in mcu and belt which is not in the stock come from lucknow which takes another 3 to 4 days now you tell me what can i do in this case.
                              This problem starts when you allot franchisee which is not able to attend complains efficiently and on time. Sir i request you to solve this problem as soon as possible.

                                Iam Abul Kalam Asath, i bought the IFB machine 2.5 years before.now my machine is not working , i have booked the complaint last Monday(05-Nov-2012).they promised me that they will give me the fix with in 24 hours.but i am calling the help desk each day .but they are saying the same thing.still none has come to attend the fault.

                                Even i have warned them that i will send the Email to Gupta.but still no result.

                                IFB has already lost their quality and the service is becoming very poor.

                                I hope this is the reason why Indians are prefering the Foring brands.

                                Gupta has to look into this issue and find out why the people are not responding for the customers request.

                                i never go for IFB in future and wont recomend this brand to anyone

                                4 years warenty is Cheating

                                    with reference to the number of complaints through customer care remained unattended and unresolved for the last 15 days i.e. since dated 20.10.12 against the complaint no.10182821.the matter was discussed with the shiva electronics authorised dealer of ifb sales ambala city, as per his directive the request/complaint was made to sh. manoj gupta incharge of the north zone stationed at chandigarh and on hearing the problem the matter was reffered to smt annuradha incharge of the area and necessary directive was given to mr rohit service representative ambala city often his inspection the condition of dish washer is same and not resolved within given time, so we request to please refund the amount of dishwasher or take the complaint resolved at the earliest, without any further harasment to the family.

                                      i am deeply unsatisfied with ifb washing machine,I brought ifb senorita in 2010,and it was lying as a 100kg useless box for 18 days no one came for installation,on the 18th day a man came with a big bag,

                                      He told us to buy products worth 5,000 which includes a washing powders ,salt water filter etc and he told that the tube is not long enough to connect to the water tube so he gave another 2000 rs bill to give a new pipe which we brought because there was no other option,he came after next 5 days and fixed it

                                      as per the working,the machine never washes the cloth,cleaning,performance is useless

                                      after two years(warranty period is 4 years) the machine is not working we informed to the customer care,he promised to sent a technician in 24 hrs but now its the 4 day from complaint

                                      so this is the worst product i have brought on my whole life

                                      IFB WASHING MACHINE — Machine is not functioning

                                      The IFB washing maching executive model was purchased 5 years back, and after the company's warranty period got over, we had entered into AMC, which means, the company should visit the costumer atleast once in two months. But, even after complaining that, the machine is not working for the past one month, there is no one attending the complaint. Every time I call the service center, they say, yes, i am sending now madam, but, no one has yet appeared.
                                      So irritating and the feeling of being cheated is frustrating.
                                      The new washing machine which we have taken is not working .

                                      After 4 long month struggling from IFB service center and not having appropriate response to the complaint is major problem that IFB need to deal with. The machine was bought in 2008 and it is not functioning properly and creating odd sounds when the washing is in process.

                                      Am quite sure this IFB washing machine is proved to be a BIG failure and the service people are proven ridiculous and got fed up of their attitude. The area Manager is really appointed not to manage the situation whereas to obstruct the disheart the customer by not supporting them and misguide them by giving false reasons.

                                      Myself purchased a senator Washing machine and it underwent 16 times repairs in 3 yrs time, by last month its warranty also got expired and I have no ther way to get their support other by cash payment which will be another expensive affair and paying penalty for selecting the International band item. I have repeatedly requested to all IFB available authorities in Kerala and through their complaint number many many times. Perhaps I would have spent more than Rs 300 for telephone calls (each complaint I have done more than 5 times and the waiting time is nearly 10mts in addition to calling the local offices)and my valuable time over phone and hearing arguments of service people. Its a big punishment of buying an IFB machine and request any customer NOT TO BUY IFB MACHINES else you will loose your money and mental peace.

                                      Now I also have to approach the legal authorities either to get my money back or to get a new machine.

                                      I strongly feel that the top management of IFB may not be knowing the real happening in grass root levels. The people in lower levels are trying to defame and thus the entire IFB name will be washed away from the market no sooner also the curse of suffering people who spent their hard earned money for a junk of metal will also prove in a short time.

                                      We have already registered our complaint regarding the IFB washing machine.On may18, 2009 an engineer had arrived but the repair done was not satisfactory.The parts are not fully replaced and the replaced parts are not original.We are really fed up of complaining again and again.As from nearly last two and a half months we have been continuously complaining and till date no strict attention has been paid to this, we DONOT want to get the machine repaired.EITHER exchange the piece or we request the company to return the money paid by us to the company.

                                      WE ARE SICK AND TIRED OF THE SERVICE

                                      The motor of the machine has stopped working. How Pathetic!

                                      We really need the piece to be replaced now as it has completely stopped working now.No buttons on the machine are working and we are really fed up of the IFB service.

                                      All fake promises these IFB people make.

                                      Last time the engineer came and repaired the machine and just after 1 day the part from bottom of the machine have came out.
                                      Not only this, the machine makes some funny noises as if coins are thrown into this.

                                      We want the machine to be replaced now.if the engineer comes now, it would be his 7th visit.
                                      HOW IRRITATING AND FRUSTRATING!!!!

                                      SHAME ON U IFB COMPANY......EVEN AFTER 1YEAR REPAIR IT THE SAME PROBLEM.
                                      I[censored] GUYS HAVE ANY FURTHER RESPECT LEFT PLEASE REPLACE IT......

                                      COULD YOU PLEASE GET THE PIECE REPLACED OR ELSE WE WILL DRAG THE CASE FURTHER.

                                      IFB WASHING MACHINE — Service engg not replacing parts

                                      I have purchased serena washing machine in July 2009. In July 2010 the machine stop working. IFB service engg. told about replacement of motor and chip. But in last 15 days i am following with IFB but they are saying that motor is not available and now not responding to my call? What the hell IFB is saying they don't have motor? Is it possible?
                                      i have paid 4, 725 for ifb amc for replacing the spare parts in nov 2010 till now nobody has turned up inspite of several complaints.
                                      IFB is a number one cheating company.

                                      Power drips when used

                                      Whenever we use Washing machine electricity drips. and unable to run.
