I bought a IFB washine machine on 16th of oct and was promised the Demo and Installation by 19th oct due to festivals, but even after my calls they are not reverting back and the Demo is not done. Kindly resolve
I placed a complaint to get my IFB Elite washing machine to be repaired(a minor repair and it is in warrenty period) on 17th Oct 2009, and they said the executive will be coming on 20th oct 2009. but uptill now no response even we have made repeated calls to their helpline no and the authorize service company. very pathetic service after sales. IFB concentrates only selling their products rather than service after sales. my customer ID they provided is 1792256 and my complaint no is 3637741, and the service center they asked me to contact is[protected]. I never suggest anybody to buy IFB washing machines.
My washing mechine model Elena under AMC, I have given complaint before 1 month to your trichy customer care in TamilNadu but so far no one has attended my complaint, personally I meet the area manager at trichy 19, 24 January but he has not given any feedback to complaint

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have purchased a washing Machine IFB Sanorita DX 5.5 Kg. just 5 months before that is on[protected] from your authorized sale shop Chellamani &Co., Puducherry, with 4 years warrenty. After 3 months of the purchase suddenly it stopped working, so I called Mr. Shankar, incharge of your authorized service centre situated at Asho Nagar, Lawspet, Puducherry. He sent a techinician and he inspected my washing machine and I was informed that there is some problem with the motor and has to be replaced and it will be done within a period of 7 days. But so for it was not replaced, I have made repeated calls ot Mr. Shankar but there was no proper response from him and I was also not provided with any stanby machine. So I called your customer care in the first week of February -2010 and raised a complaint and it was registred under docked no.4136428.
But still my problem was not fixed, Hence I request your good office and take necessary and immediate action and replace me with a new machine within a period of 7 days from the receipt of this letter or otherwise I will be considered to take necessary legal action against you all.

I have taken a AMC for 2 years and they are not changing faulty Valve and start/Stop button in my machine. It has been more than 2 months since I am calling for an IFB technician and finally a person came today and told, there is no fault in Valve or the button. IFB as a company is as bad as it can be. Please stay away from them.
this is to you inform that we have given complaints regarding service and get repaired on on 10.08.2012 with bill no 6162 of tadbund address, after that we have again faced problem and reg complaint on 8.12.12, with complain no 10294556, for which after repeated follow ups we have got serviced and again faced a problem and given complaint on 9.2.13 with no 10440962, we got serviced again with repeated follow ups and service engineer told us add filter which we have added purchased from them only @ 1800.00, after that again faced problem, and given complaint and people came seen the problem saying within couple of days they will attend, after that nobody picking up the phnos, which was given by customer care and the person who has visited bearing phnos, [protected] naming Chary, and given one more no [protected] naming ravi, none of them were attending and customer care were telling they will attend, how long this issue will prolong, can we get some solution or need to proceed for legal proceedings.

I got a new microwave one month back, but till today I didnot get a demo .For demo I SMS to IFB (CUSTOMER CARE) after that one of the enginner called up but did not come to give the demo.

    I have purchased IFB washing machine Senator DX. From the beginning it is giving troubles. Service attendants attended several times. I came to know that this model is a flop one. We have spent a lot of money on this machine. It appears that there is a defect in manufacturing on this machine. Owners having Senator DX may advise me if they got redressal by any other means. I also appeal to the public not to purchase IFB washing machine by brand name.

    I too agree with this complaint. With in one year, they replaced the control unit board twice. Not sure when the new board will start giving problem. I suggest not to go for this model. Service from IFB out sourced agencies is pathetic. Each time, they will take minimum 10 days for replacing the board.

    IFB should with draw this model and also should recall this product in order to value their customers.

    I want to let everyone know that I bought a IFB Senator DX washing machine that was completely faulty even as it reached my home for the first time.I was cheated right from the start, when i bought the machine.The employees at a NEXT showroom(where i bought) said that demonstration cannot be done at the showroom and I had to get it home.

    Even in its first run when an IFB associate installed the machine it made LOT OF NOISE, he remarked that the product is faulty. Now I have been after these guys since then.Made hundreds of phone calls. The one very disturbing answer I get is that the product is already bought and hence it cannot be replaced - It can only be fixed. Now here something more disturbing. As I lodged a complaint with IFB about the faulty machine, technicians kept coming and going without any solution, no solution. I kept arguing I want a replaced working product. They kept dragging the situation, opened the machine did something and make some stupid excuse everytime. That some spring has to replaced, you need a stand or stabilizer is require.I did everything.You wont believe it has been an year now. Still no solution. No IFB associate answers my call.Technicians make stupid excuses and leave.

    There was a customer satisfaction certificate that had to be filled by me but the technicians never referred to it because it was going to be negative.I have appliances at home from different companies and only one IFB appliance because someone said they are the best washing machine manufacturers.And that is the only one that is faulty. Really pathetic product and Unacceptable customer service.
    For anyone going for a machine never go for IFB, i indeed found out from many that there washing machine produces loud noise.Never Buy IFB. Period

      We had first lodged our for the above mentioned IFB Washing Machine on the 1st of Sept 10 for which we given a complaint no. 5035266 dt. 1/9/09.
      However, on nobody attending our complaint, we had to send a reminder by Email.
      Following which, one IFB representative came to us on the 4th, checked the machine and told us that certain parts (that are readily available) need to be replaced and...

      I was assure of job gaurantee for the program I enrolled in that was Post Graduation In Banking & Financial Services (PGDBFS).It was a six months course and I paid my hard earned money which was 60000/- + admission fees extra of 500/- .The institute just conducted fake interviews and said the joining would be after the completion of the course .Now its almost 2 months now they say the date of joining is postponed no appointment letter is given no confirmation is given on calling they are avoiding calls no response is there from their side no certificate of the course is given no proof is there that we have completed our course

      My course started on 1st march 2010 and got completed on 1st aug 2010 .

      IFBI is institute of repute with placement record of 9000 students. I recollect, even last year, during economic slowdown, IFBI students secured placements, eventually.

      Be patient, good things are coming your way. Cheers!
      IFBI is a fraud. They post students with a fraud commitment of Rs. 21000 salary (14000/month + loan amount of 7000/month @ 5%+ interest rate). Students are posted during internship in extreme remote areas of India with[protected] stipend and they provide no help to them and wash of their hands. Many of the students could not complete the internship because of their negligence and lost hard earned 60, 000+ Rupees. IFBI is a cheat, and IFBI's management employ fraud bankers (like Mr. CVR Krishnamurthy and Surmayee in IFBI Kolkata center). STAY AWAY FROM THEM.
      Do not try to be negative, there are almost 11000 people those are already start their career with this reputed institute.Visit any partner organization those are in tie-up with ifbi and feel the difference and proof.Do not go by this.It is very easy to comment on someone.

      Avoiding calls, fake interviews, attenders give the answers in the exam so fake exams...
      I sincerely request to the people to don't join because when I entered the institute they offered me pgdp this course offers 9 banks and the course duration is 4 months in that 4 months u will go through some exams i[censored] fail in that exams there will not be any placement opportunity I requested my dad and I paid 93, 000 I didn't get the job because I was failed in FMA I am b.tech background I don't know maths I couldn't reach up to that extent so I sincerely request to don't join in ifbi don't waste ur money and time

        Despite promising to service my complaint within 24 hours my complaint No 5073340 dt 9/9/2010 has not been resolved by the service provider Antek services-Malad-east on behalf of IFB Industries Ltd.
        A have a AMC for 2 years for my Washing Machine model Supremeo.

        Very poor response, the telephone of Mr Anil Divakaran -the Man in charge of this agency is always switched off.

        I have given Annual Maintainence Contract no.215439 dated 16/11/2010 for my IFB washing machine SENTER 6 KGS for paying them annual Charges. Now after 1 month, IFB Industries Ltd had taken AMC from me, my WASHING MACHINE has not been functioning. I have registered the complaint with the company ON 24/08/2012 but they are not repairing my MACHINE oven saying that micro oven was not working at the time of taking AMC.If the micro oven was not working, why have the taken AMC for the faulty machine. By taking AMC is for two years going to expire on 15/11/2012 but after numerous no. of complaint to MR. Prabhat/Ms. Geetanjali/ Ms. ABHA and Mr.RAVI-Owner of SURYA CARE (GEETA COLONY) but nobody has
        responed to get the resolve my problem. what is the reason behind that it s beyond my thinking. Please advice what to do now.

          I bought a IFB Microwave oven and unfortuantely it got repaired in augest. I raised a complaint and the company sent the executive. The executive on inspection informed that the MICROWAVE will be actively working now, but the same problem is being faced by myself , as the executive has also charged Rs 276 as maintenance charges but after that there is no response from the executive . Since then neither i am able to trace the executive nor any response from call centre is futile. Finally i was shocked last week that my complaint has been closed completely and i raised a fresh complaint.
          My first complaint ID is [protected]

          Its a shame for a company like IFB to offer such a poor service to customers

          I am in new delhi and it will be great if someone can provide me the top level heads number in IFB so that i can escalate this issue ....

          i HAVE PURCHASED IFB MICROWAVE, MODEL 30SC2 1 YR BEFORE.ON THE FIRST DAY ITSELF THE MICROWAVE WAS NOT SWITCHING ON.WHEN I SHOUTED ON THESE GUYS THEY REPLACED IT.THE NEW ONE WORKED WELL FOR 1 MONTH WELL THEN AFTER 7-8 MINUTES IT SUDDENLY GETS SWICHTED OFF...ALL LIGHTS GONE...AND AFTER 15MINUTES BACK IN ACTION...THE SERVICE CENTER GUYS TRY TO REPAIR IT BUT SOME HOW NOT VERY SUCCESSFUL..AS NOW IT GETS SWITCHED OFF AFTER 15 MINUTES. IN 1 YR MORE THAN 6 TIMES I HAVE TAKEN IT TO THE CUSTOMER CARE CENTER. I THINK BUYING AN IFB PRODUCT HAS BECOME A HEADACHE TO ME...

          KINDLY TAKE SOME ACTION AGAINST IT OR I THINK LOOK FORWARD TO GET ALL THIS PRINTED IN THE NEWSPAPER..HOPE U'LL HELP ME ASAP..

            I have initially registered this compaint over phone on 28-AUG-2010 and complaint no. is 5013325. After several follow ups Technician turned up on 03-SEP-2010 and said the machine has to be taken to the workshop and he will be calling me in the evenign when they will be coming to take it but it never happened so far. The inital problem reported was Error E-04. When the technician came in on 03-SEP-2010, he further made a damage to door which is not even closing now (because of one loose screw). After that no one turned up to take the machine and i have been spending all my day (in office / home) to follow up IFB on the status and there is no response yet. All promises made by IFB customer support / team / managers tured out to be false. This is not at all acceptable. The complaint is registered on 28-AUG-2010 and it has been almost 14 days now and nothing has happened. Am going thru a lot of pain because of this and the daily expenses am incurring towards this and also the phone calls. Appreciate if you can look into the matter and resolve it ASAP. If IFB is not interested to resolve the complaint, i would urge them to take the product back and give me my money back. Whatever it is, i would expect it to be resolved by 17-SEP-10. So one more weeks of time i gave them and also putting my complaint here. The product is under 2 years warraty given by the company itself which is upto 29-SEP-2010. I have also taken 2 more years extended warranty on 31-AUG-09 by paying them Rs.2572/-. This is a digital 6kg washing machine from IFB. I have been following up calling the customer care and the local service center here (Raju / Naresh / Anupam / Gopi) but it is just left like that. Days are passing by but none of them seem to be interested in resolving this. Anupam (who is the escalation manager) told that he would be sending the senior technician on 08-AUG-2010 and so far could not able to. If being a manager he is not able to influence and get things done then whom should we approach. This is a nightmare. Am never ever going to recommend anyone to buy a product from IFB. Appreciate if this could be looked at as a priority,

              Request # 120229 put in on 28 Aug for dishwasher salt, powder and liquid. No response even after two weeks despite several reminders to the customer care number [protected], the local service centre 32240707, the Mumbai IFB executive [protected], local service centre proprietor [protected].

              Not my first unpleasant experience with IFB.........they are cheats who only want you to purchase their products and then simply dont care anymore. You've paid them already for the machine, so who gives a damn!!!!!

              When the dishwasher was delivered to my home, it didnt work when unpacked and demonstrated by a IFB technician. They had the guts to suggest that I get it repaired!!!! Some very strong language got them to replace the faulty machine.

              A request to replenish salt, powder and liquid for the machine took three weeks to be serviced and that too after complaining to the IFB head office and the Mumbai IFB representative. One of the service centre staff even had this to say.."we forgot that you had requested these supplies".

              My strong suggestion to everybody out there......DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM IFB !!!!!!!!

                Customer No. 1455302 - Break-down request No. 5050170
                Inspite of several requests to customer care, and Local technicians Mr Gopi –Mobile No. [protected], and Mr Nani – [protected] , My washing machine has not been rectified even after 15 days of my request.
                Importantly the machine is under AMC, the response of their technicians very irresponsible .
                One of the technician has visited site after break-down request, and left the message that his brother will call on next day. His brother Mr Gopi has called on the next day, and informed that machine has to be sent to their workshop, and he can assess what has to be done after that, He also told me I had to pay charges for replacement of parts. I cleared informed repeatedly requested them to assess the damages, and scope of AMC, before sending the machine to their workshop. But ever after 15 day no action has been taken.

                It is very irresponsible attidute, by your technican of Mr gopi, when I am rquesting to provide details.

                  I have registered a complaint on 7th sept vide complaint no 5064786 and have been chasing with the peetampura franchise for attending the machine . The machine is under AMC contract NO 209603 ,customer code 1073338 . Even after 48 hours the machine has not been attended .If the principals cannot service the machines they should not sell and take AMC s and take innocent housewives for a ride . The cosumer court should take this issue up.

                  I'm facing the same issue with the service centers in chennai, they are irresponsibile person and non expertise guys..they are simply learn about the product..LG, SAMSUNG, WHIRLPOOL are worth for indian market and good response for any issue with them..i have changed my product to LG has a very good response...there SLA is to fix the issue withi 24 hrs...also they are providing status update regularly.

                  i hate IFB...they are crap machines and crap service peoples.

                    We have purchased a IFB washing machine MODEL NO.7233 from Bhatia Electronic Lab,Rohtak(haryana) on march 2,2009, invoice no. is 3793.But to our great disappointment it did not meet our expectations as it was found defective.We have been calling up the respective company but till date no action has been taken.

                    We have already registered our complaint regarding the IFB washing machine.On may18,2009 an engineer had arrived but the repair done was not satisfactory.The parts are not fully replaced and the replaced parts are not original.We are really fed up of complaining again and again.As from nearly last two and a half months we have been continuously complaining and till date no strict attention has been paid to this,we DONOT want to get the machine repaired.EITHER exchange the piece or we request the company to return the money paid by us to the company.

                    IFB.Washer not working since 10th September,
                    The Techanician came attanded & said one of the PCB need to be changed.
                    Now he allways says that he has still not received the PCB.
                    We bought IFB front load washing machine in 2010 ( Viveks shop). ours is four years warranty but still now they haven't come for free any free service.
                    I want customer care phone no related to free service of IFB Front load washing machine which is brought in 2010 (Viveks shop purasivakam) with four years warranty. Ur people till now haven't come for any free service

                      I participated in "Bid and Win" scheme of IFB Industries, by paying Rs 500. I didnt win, and as was stipulated they issued me a Gift Voucher (GV) with variable value for different purposes. One such purpose was Online Purchase of Microwave Oven where they offered a discount of Rs 2500.

                      Now the plight starts. I logged in, and bought Rotisserie oven, and when i put in the GV code it was invalid. I called half a dozen times the Customer Service, and every time they would give a different explanation.

                      I was asked to contact Marketing manager who expressed complete ignorance...

                      The modus operandi is quite clear: collect a small sum of Rs 500 from hundreds of people, since the amount is small not many would follow up, and they could pocket a clean but tainted profit...

                      IFB Appliances — No service for AMC paid

                      I had booked for AMC against IFB washing machine. The AMC start date is 12-jan-2011 and end date is 11-jan-2012. However repeated calls to the service center /toll free number have yielded no results. The AMC is charged @ Rs 1875 for a year. Post which we havent even heard from the IFB industried limited.

                      AMC was booked by one Mr. Sanjay working with IFB Home Appliances Division. N0 17, Vishweshwaraiah indl estate off whitefield road, Mahadevapura Post, Bangalore -560048.

                      My customer id with IFB is 806953.

                      The service is so bad that calls to the customer care no (24 hrs[protected] will only have u been put on hold with a rude rep who does not even have the patience to listen to the customer @ the other end.

                          IFB FRONT LOAD WASHING MACHINE — Vibration observed.

                          The machine was purchased frm Baroda about 10 years back. The PU ( Rubber) wheels are required to be replaced. Sevice also required. As a result it is giving lot of vibration & noise. Now we are placed at Reliance colony at Moti khavdi, Near jamnagar ( Gujarat). In view of this, One the real quality machine is now not giving satisfatory service

                          Sir in the month of Feb,09 we bought new IFB Washing Machine it was working properly , in the month of june our service centre boy came and added Descal powder of IFB co., and asked us to switch off the machine after the wash course is completed. When the process was completed we noticed that the steel spin tub in the machine became decoloured and looking like that of an aluminium/indalium tub. When we hav complainted the same after two weeks the service boy wrote an complaint and suggested for the replacement of the tub its now four months there is no response from the service centre though calling for many number of times . Atlast we have decided to complain in a forum. Being a such big co., the assistance of the service centres is too bad.

                            Complain was logged on 9th August 2010 and even after 25 days the issue has not been resolved even for small issue like replacement of broken outlet pipe. We have been repeatedly following up with your local dealer to whom the job was assigned but nothing has moved on.
                            We even contacted Service Manager Mr. Anil hoping that something will happen as he promised me that it will be rectified by 30th of Aug 2010 and that he will personally supervise the same. I am pained to report that till now the machine has not been rectified.
                            It seems like they have become very thick skinned and I am feeling ashamed to report this.
                            Since we were using IFB Washing Machine, we went ahead with IFB make dishwasher ignoring other make available in Indian Market, but now we really regret this.
                            Now if it’s not resolved in another 48 hrs, hence forth in future won’t be going ahead with IFB for any replacement or new purchase. Also will ensure same is followed in all of my extended families and friends as well.

                                I bought a Washing machine (model no IFB Eliyte Dx - 5.5 Kg) dated 14/01/2009.I make a complaint in water leakage in bottom of the drum and a service person came from MSK Assosiates from lawspet,Pondycherry and it was croorrected and charged 160 rupees.
                                Again one more complaint booked at Sri mankular Electronics for digital display not working offenly at working condition. But the service person came and checked. But they replied everything is O.K.But still the problem is continuing and again complaint booked on 29.08.2010.
                                They raised a complaint and the complaint number is 5018261.The service person told , the rubber O ring is not came from manufacturing end itself .Thats why water leakge on display board.Now the O ring was fixed and charged 120 rupees.No reponse from pondy service centre and head office also.Now what we need is,what are all the items not avilable in that machine and repay the O ring amount.Immmediate reply needed otherwise i will complaint in consumer court.                                 washing machine dx — Machine leaking

                                My machine is under AMC and my address is 230, Sector 11-A, Chandigarh. I had lodged a complaint about 3 months back and my complaint no. is 3318964. So far my complaint has not been rectified and I have serious doubts that service centre is going to do anything about it. They are waiting for the AMC to be over. Their conduct in past 6-8 months had been dismal. It doesnot behove a company as big as yours to treat their customers in such manner. I am also contemplating legal action if I donot get a positive response from your side by Monday (14.9.09)

                                IFB elite — LEAKAGE

                                I have purchased washing machine from Kannur and when I got transferred to Calicut and informed IFB regarding its installation and leakage in the washing machine on 14/11/2009, they didnt offer me proper support. somebody from calicut service centre came, and found the pipes are to be removed. the details not given. Three months almost over. My complaint not yet settled. what I have to do.Pls help me. I am a working women with a 3 year kid.away from family and relatives. so the working of washing machine so important to me. many phone calls during my busy schedule, but it was neglected.whome I have to approach. The toll free number provided me one mobile number of a support person, but he was not picking it up. so irresponsible they are. Kindly look into it and solve the problem

                                  We have purchased Washing Machine of IFB from Croma, Goregaon about a year back. The machine is covered with 3 year warranty. Since last 3 months we have faced problems in working.

                                  The first complaint was attended by IFB after severe follow up of more than a month. Now again machine has malfunctioned and stopped since one month. My complaint no is 4923012 with IFB. Their Malad service center ( Tel[protected] is totally irresponsible. They never give true picture.

                                  Please let me know if you can help us in getting this problem solved. Ideally I would like to go to consumer court and Media to show true face of IFB and demand to take machine back and give us full refund.

                                  I pray that nobody buys IFB products so that they are saved from worst attitude and worst aftersales of IFB

                                    I have an IFB washing machine and have an AMC for it. I had given a complaint to the IFB customer care on 26th Aug and till date nobody has bothered to come and attend.

                                    I don't understand what is the problem with these people. I seriously think ths IFB machines should be banned. The persons do not attend to their customers complaints.

                                    I am a senior citizen. I made a complaint on 4th February and again on 8th February. One technician came on 10th Feb and he wanted some motor to be replaced and I agreed to that also. Whenever I give a call there was no response from IFB or if they respond, immediately they say the spare part is not readily available and as soon as we get the spare parts we will inform. On 18th February when I contacted in the number 24865661, she told me my complaint was transferred to Vadapalani Branch and she told me to contact one NIRANJAN in the number 30288510. I contacted the vadapalani Branch and they informed me the technician will come to my house on 19th Feb and no one reported till this day. Will the officers concerned, who have little concern for the senior citizens, take some speedy remedial action to solve this problem. My IFB washing machine needs a solid rope to tie around the machine while running or otherwise the machine will jump and fall down. While the machine is on, effective supervision must be there to be around the machine, otherwise we can't be at peace. This is the position of the machine from day one of purchase. Now the present problem is that the water gets stagnated inside the machine even after the wash is completed and hence the clothes are not fully dry when the wash is completed. Now I am planning to approach the consumer court to redress my grievances.

                                      I have extremely hassled with the level of customer service provided by IFB. My washing machine has been giving problems for the last 45 days. The service center rep visited us a few times and after he is gone the problem starts again. There were following problems with the machine,

                                      1. Clothes were getting torn
                                      2. Water being ejected from the detergent tray and my house was getting flooded.

                                      The technician changed the drum saying it was damaged and charged me about 4k as it was no covered under the AMC. He also temporarily fixed the flooding problem. So far I have spent about 10K on the machine repairs, AMC etc and I am still at IFB's mercy.

                                      The machine was okay for 4 days and again he flooding and the drum noise started, The Technician visited us and told us to change the detergent which we did but the flooding did not stop. I have been calling the service center for help but no one has visited us for the last 3 days and no one is attending the serivce center phones. I am just fed up with IFB. No more IFB products.

                                      I'm facing the same issue with the service center, they are irresponsibile person and non expertise guys..they are simply learn about the product..LG, SAMSUNG, WHIRLPOOL are worth for indian market and good response for any issue with them..i have changed my product to LG has a very good response...there SLA is to fix the issue withi 24 hrs...also they are providing status update regularly.

                                      i hate IFB...they are crap machines and crap service peoples.
