Dear Sir,

We are IFB users from last 25 years. My washing M/C is in AMC and we had registered a telephonics complaint on last 19th-02-09 vide complaint No 2743368. Yesterday some body had come and said that the drum belt had gone bad and he says no stock. It will be available after 15 days.
Sir, a company like IFB does not keep a stock of a blet is some thing which is some thing not accepted. My M/C was there at your service center for 6 days and during that time non of your engg's could see the conditions of belt.
I request you to kindly address my complaint and close the same.

    please refer to our complaint no 2730218 filed at kanpur. the service personnel did nothing to machine and told ladies at home that repair has been done and sold the detergent also to them . May I know what we will do of it when machine is not working.

    IFB Dish Washer — Failed to deliver order product

    The IFB Dish Washer requires additives (detergents) for its functioning. These additives are not available in the open market and they have to be ordered telephonically directly from IFB. Once you place the order you are given an Order No. and informed that the item will be delivered in 4 days. But even after 40 days it is not delivered. I have got absolutely fed up with this kind of rotten service. Even after constant reminder there does not seem to be any response. And as such the Dish Washer remains idle and unused for want of these detergents. Even there is no response after complaining on the IFB site. I am approaching this site for redressal of my grievance. My present order with IFB was made on 21st Aug.2008 but I have not received delivery till date inspite of repeated reminders.

    3. Chennai Service Manager keep updating or lying or cheeting customers.

    I had purchased your product dishwasher on 29.12.2009 in SHARPTRONICS, New Sidhapudur, Coimbatore, but installed only on 27.01.2010. The IFB dishwasher is not functioning. The panel board in the machine has been replaced four times within this short term. The date of change of panel boards are on 26.06.2010 (twice) and 24.08.2010 (twice). The problem faced on these two times has again occurred now. We are not satisfied with your product and within the short time our machine has been repaired by your untrained engineers and it has not been fitted in the same condition as it was in the time of purchase. So we can't offer to use this product any more. So we want a replacement of this machine immediately within 24 hours. We want your feed back immediately.

      I have purchased a microwave oven IFB model 30SC2 from Vasant & Co., Salem on 26 Dec.2008.During purchase they promised to give me a microwave cooking kit, one cook book, a baking bowl set and a scratch card which can win a cash back upto Rs.5001/-.Whereas along with the owen, I got only the microwave cooking kit.cooking book I received only after a few days & after several phone calls to the shop.Scratch card, they said not applicable for owens.when it is not applicable for a product how it can be advertised through a national daily of this country? Regarding the baking bowl set, I haven't receive it yet.I visited the shop several times.I called your Customer Service Officer(Mr.Anand) on [protected] & enquired about it on 19 Feb.2009. He told me that bowl set is avilable, but will onle be handed over to Vasanth & Co.late in the evening on that day & told me to collect it next day.I told him that I am in Salem Town and is not possible for me to visit Salem every now & then to collect it.I am from Mettur Dam which 50 kms away from Salem.I request you to look into these deffiencies and solve these problems immediately.You may tell your Salem Office to send me the bowl set in my residential address.

      Micro Wave Oven -- IFB — POOR CUSTOMER CARE --- VASANTH & CO.

      Dear Sir

      I bought a Micro wave oven -- 20 Ltrs (IFB -- MAKE) @ T. Nagar Branch on 27.12.2009, But still as on date of 21.01.2010, the Oven is not been in use due to non - supply of the machine. Sir, I thought to file a case against M/s. VASANTH & CO, T.Nagar Branch.

      Kindly do not buy any material from the Dealers like M/s. VASANTH & CO.

      VERY VERY VERY POOR POOR SERVICE AND CUSTOMER CARE. BEWARE OF THESE KIND OF PPEOPLES.

        I want to place on record my grievance towards the harrasment casued by IFB customer service team in Noida region. I had bought an IFB front loading washing machine (Supremo model) some 10 years back. The machine has always been maintained and service by the IFB authorized team. In October 2008, our machine developed some technical snag and started making loud noise while in operation. We called IFB customer helpline no. and lodged a complaint for which IFB office deputed a service engineer by the name of Manoj Kumar (Mobile no. [protected]) who visited our house in C-39, Sector-20, Noida and told us that machine requires a part to be replaced and the same is not covered in warranty. Further he advised us and also settled with us a price of Rs 2100/- for replacing the faulty part of the machine within 24 hours which he did replace. He also advised my old mother of 65 years to run the machine only after 24 hours as he had applied some adhesive on to the replaced part which needed some time to stick on. Next day when my mother called him to complain that the machine was still making noise and probably was not repaired properly, he said that the noise would settle down soon as the replaced part was still new. Since than the machine has been functional but with some irritating noise. Around 20th Dec08 the machine again stopped working and we called the same service engineer on his mobile. He visited our house after many calls and requests and on checking the machine has confirmed that the same part has gone bad again and needs to be replaced. He also said that he would come with a replacement in 24 hours but he neither visited our house after that nor picked our calls. Finally after 3-4 days of chasing this service engineer, Mr.Manoj Kumar ([protected]) and failing to contact him, my ailing mother of 65 years logged a complaint at your customer helpline. As promised by the helpline, a new service engineer visited our house and after checking the machine confirmed that the tub of the machine has gone bad and hence the machine is not functional. My mother tried telling this new service engineer Mr.Anil ([protected]) that one of IFB company personnel has already taken money from us for replacing this part 2 months back but he only insisted that he could not do anything as the machine is out of warranty. On my request he even gave me the mobile no.of his senior engineer Mr.S.K.Shrivastav ([protected]) who confirmed the same fact we will need to sign up the AMC before our machine could be serviced and made operational and there was nothing that he could do towards the Rs 2100/- paid by us earlier to your service engineer in Oct08. Finally on 28thDec08, we were asked to shell out Rs 2585/- towards the AMC of the machine which we complied by a cheque no.168924 drawn on HDFC Bank dated 28/12/08 with invoice no.7432. I had to agree to the demands of IFB company personnel as my mother is too old to wash the clothes by hand as she is a heart patient. I want to know as a consumer that why is IFB employing such cheats/frauds and sending them to the consumers...how can their service engineers source duplicate material from your stores to be installed at consumers machine to cheat both the consumer and the company, why is the backend staff not checking the status of each compaint made by the consumer at the customer helpline? When a MNC like IFB indulges in acts of fraud/cheating via their representatives, what trust will the consumers have on the company... I want to know what action IFB will take against such fraud service engineer who has very easily duped a consumer of Rs2100/-?

        Since then I have made repeated reminders to IFB but any result. Everytime someone from their branch office in Ghaziabad calls up my mobile and tells me that nothing can be done as I have paid cash to their engineer and it is my fault that I have paid this service engineer money without any receipt.

        My machine was repaired and very next day same problem - water leakage even though as per the suggestion of the service personel the parts being replaced. Really they needed to be replaced is debatable!
        Did you gorget that the same company had cheated thousands of retired employee by taking deposit from them by giving false commitments and confiscated the entire money of the poor retired old men?

          my IFB washing m/c is under AMC .M/S seetal refrigeration services Ramanthrapur, Hyderabad are authorised service centre for IFB. the water drain pipe on the machine had gone bad at coupling point.
          the service mechanic replaced the corregated plastic pipe . they have charged Rs.250/-for about 2 mtr
          pipe which i strongly feel is too much. what is the authorised company price ? I have a receipt for the same.
          if they have charged extra money can i get justice?

          Lucky, you got it for 250. They are asking me Rs 850. Preposterous. Cost of a pipe cannot be so high.

            Respected Sir/Madam,

            I have raised a ticket 2689215 on 4-Feb-2009. IFB Customer Service is responding properly.

            I purchased IFB Washing machine Model SANORITA-DX on June-2008. The machine had lots of problems. As soon as I come across any problem using the machine, I use to call IFB Customer Care [protected]. Service Engineer comes, helps and our machine starts working again. They have replaced the motor and PCB board twice within 6 months of time of purchase. I was happy with service despite the machine becomes faulty once every month and they use to take more than 4-5 days to repair the machine. This time it has passed 2 weeks and still the machine is not working. Service Center says they will be coming today and till today the day have not arrived. Moreover the service center gives false commitment that I shall get a new working machine or it will get repaired tomorrow. Their tomorrow never comes.

            Customer care being nice and cozy provides us numbers of service center and various persons from where I can get an immediate help. Most of the numbers are either not valid or not received. It looks like Customer care is not in sync with the local service center.

            Looking the past history it looks either the Machine or the Model SANORITA-DX is faulty. If the Machine is faulty please repair or replace it with new one. If the Model itself is faulty I want to request IFB to stop its production and replaced with a new model working model since it appears a manufacturing defect. As we are facing lots of difficulty, I need to restore the machine at the earliest.

            After sales service is not satisfactory at all. I want a better service in future.

            Request you to treat this complain at most urgent and help us.

            IFB-SANORITA-DX — FAILURE OF SANORITA-DX IFB WASHING MACHINE

            We have purchased IFB Make Washing machine Model SANOTIRA-DX on 10.01.2009 through R.K.Electronics/Chandanagar/Hyderabad. The machine has become faulty and complaint was lodged on 30.01.2009. the Ticket No.2671358 After repeated reminders Service Engineer Mr.Malleshwar Rao visited on 08.01.09 and after testing found some component to be replaced. On 09.01.09 he came and replaced the component but still the machine is not functioning, now he says Motor is faulty will be attended after consulting his superiors. In this regard we here by inform you that either the motor is to be replaced or the Machine is replaced with a new one since it appears is is a manufacturing defect. As we are facing a lot of difficulty the machine to be restored at the earliest. After sales services are not satisfactory we hope for a better services in future. This helps in your future products sales.

            TREAT THIS COMPLAINT VERY SERIOUS AND ARRANGE FOR EARLY DISPOSAL OF THE SAME.

              I had bought a microwave in the first week of Jan 2009. The machine makes noise even after the cooking/heating is completed. Even after the 4 beeps, the machine continues to make noise for the next 3 minutes. Called their customer service ppl and after a few weeks managed to get a new machine replaced. This new machine has the same problem along with it being damaged on delivery. It has been over 10 days now after their technical person came and inspected the machine and said that they will get it replaced but nothing has been done so far. I have only wasted my time, money and energy calling and writing to the customer service department but so far nobody has returned the call. i am still stuck with a new machine which is defective, broken and which cannot be used. IFB sucks, they have no value for the customers after their product has been bought.PLEASE DO NOT BUY IFB PRODUCTS

              IFB MICROWAVE 20SC2 — FAULTI PIECE DELIVERED

              I PURCHASED A MICROWAVE FROM M/S KOHLI SALES, SANJAY GANDHI MARKET, JALANDHAR. FAULTI PIECE WAS DELIVERED TO ME. INSPITE OF MANY REQUESTS NO ONE VISITED HOME TO CHECK THE MICROWAVE. WHEN WE SWITCH ON THE MICROWAVE SEVERE SPARKING OCCURES FROM INSIDE UPPER PORTION. THE WORST EVER AFTER SALES SERVICE IS BEING OFFERED BY THE COMPANY (IFB).

                we are getting very poor response in your service.

                I have AMC for IFB Washing Machine. Our washing machine's motor was failed on 3rd of February 09. A complaint was lodged with Lucknow service centre on the same day on Tel No.[protected], a representative from their franchise Mr.Irfan attended the complaint next day & reported that motor of the machine has failed and will be replaced withih 4 days.But till now motor has not been replaced.We have contacted almost daily with local representatives & Ms.Nidhi ( probably office head ) on her Mobile no. [protected] but till now there is no response from their side.They are promising us again & again to change next day but their next day has not come yet. Nobody has reported..please do something.we are not getting good service.

                IFB WASHING MACHINE — IFB washing machine motor failure

                I am from Goa and my IFB washing machine (model - senorita) is under AMC from 11.10.08 to 10.10.09. It has not been working for the past 1 month. After repeated complaints given to the service contractor Mr. Gawas, one service technician attended the machine and told us that the motor has failed. After giving suffficient time to the concerned AMC person, he is just giving the excuse of motor not available in stock. Without the machine our work gets paralysed. It is very disgusting that a reputed company like IFB does an AMC of the machine with the customer & is unable to give the service when required. We are very much disappointed with this. Please look into the matter.

                  I had purchasd a microwave on 28.01.09 from Gupta Electronics...I lodged the repair call on 02 FEb[protected]...Nobody visitted my home and they have closed the call also. Today also i have logged in the call but not reply...

                  Kindly take a strict action against IFB. Poor customer service.

                  I have purchased a 17 litre IFB Microwave for my Father in law who is in Kovilpatti and the Microwave failed and he called Tuticorin Service station and their ref.number is 2927688 dt30.03.09.Their technician came and informed them that the trans former has gone and taken it for replacement and till today they have not replaced it.This is highly irregular and they are not happy with the Service .In addition to this both my in laws are Senior citizen. Please look into the matter and act immediately.The Microwave was purchased at Jainsons, T.Nagar, Chennai 600017

                    We purchased IFB Top loading Washing machine on 6th February 2009. The service center has not been able to install the machine for last one week. The Service center in Kalyan (W) PIN421301 is the worst ever I found. They have no proper communication nor specific schedule to attend a service call. Can IFB take a note of this and arrange to address our problem and look for closing this service center which is of no use to customers. The service people here are neither competent, nor punctual nor accommodative to customer needs at all.

                    IFB has the worst customer service and the service centre is worthless. I had two washing machine( 7 kg Digital ) and Two Maxidry(6kg). Both are not functioning and everytime we register complains in the customer care, one perticular person comes for rectifying the same aftyer several follow up. Neverever he solves the complain fully and returns with the vague promise that some parts are not working . The same practice is from last 5 to six month. Currently all my washing machines are not functioning and i am completely dissatisfied and fully agree that dont buy any IFB product henceforth .
                    Hello, I have purchased front load 9kg washer 7kg dryer washing machine on 20.04.2013. My customer id is 3753588. I gave the first complaint on 30.01.2015 that my machine was not working. The same day a technician named Ramesh came over to our place. There was some problem in the control panel kit so he said we will get it replaced in a week. When we called after a week to the customer service they said the complaint has been closed. How could they close a complaint without even solving it?

                    We have given three complaints so far and had called them for like more than 10 times still this issue remains unsolved. No proper reply. They also gave me a manager's number ([protected]). His name is Umar. I called him on 20.02.2015. He said that the issue will be resolved on monday between 10am and 1pm I.e. today (23.02.2015). No reponse again. So I called him again. He said that a technician would comeby in the evening. Again hopeless. Wen I called him again he dint pick up the call. I even sent him a message but he dint reply to it. Its been 24 days, almost a month since he took the control panel but we neva got a proper response since then. We are so fed up with the so called IFB international brand. If we dont get the kit replaced soon then we will have to go to the consumer court. We need immediate response.

                      Please refer to my earlier complaints

                      I bought one of your top end washing machine model (IFB washing Machine 6 kg Digital) Ser No 014540 in Nov 09 from Jaisalmer in Rajasthan.

                      I was not given the user manual and warranty card when I bought the machine and was assured that it will be given. I reported the matter then but to date nothing has happened. I am sure you can print one and despatch it to my mailing address.

                      I am still awaiting the documentation of my three year warranty card to reach me. Its now been two months.

                      I was assured a Luminarc Dinner Set as a free gift but now I am told that the same is not available and I have to pick up a Maharaja Whiteline Food Processor (which I already have at home).

                      I am an Army officer and being deployed do not have the time to chase the matter. It also sends a very bad picture of the customer care service backup.

                      I am sure someone senior and responsible enough takes notice else I will be forced to raise this issue through my organisational channels.

                      I WANT TO ASSURE ANY PERSONNEL BUYING IFB WASHING BE READY FOR A LIFE LONG HORROR ORDEAL IF BY ANY CHANCE YOUR MACHINE REQUIRES ANY MAINTAINCES OR DEVELOPS ANY FAULT. ONE OF THE MOST PATHETIC PROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE OF ITS SERVICE PERSONNEL AND IN SPITE OF REGISTERING A COMPLAIN ON 20 JULY 2009 AS COMPLAIN NO 3277500 ON THEIR TOLL FREE NO[protected] THE IFB SERVICE PERSONNEL VISITED TWICE BUT COULD SOLVE THE PROBLEM DUE TO NON AVAILABILITY OF SPARE TILL 28TH JULY 2009 ( A SMALL PLASTIC HINGE WHICH CONNECTS FRONT LOADING DOOR TO MAIN BODY ) SO U CAN IMAGINE CONSUMER PLIGHT. I HAD MADE AROUND 30-40 CALLS TO STARTING FROM (AS PER HIEARCHERY CHAIN )

JJUST NOT WORTH IT TO BUY IFB.

                      I had lodged a complaint with M/s Mehta Enterprises, regarding my Washing Machine (IFB-Senorita Plus)on 16th April-2010 at @ 215 pm. I was assured that the service engineer would attend the call on 17th April 2010 between 1pm to 3pm. So, I cancelled my prior appointments just to ensure that I am available at home when the service engineers arrive so that their time and effort does not go waste. But to my surpise, they did not arrive.
                      The service engineer called me and informed his inability to come at the promised time due to some issue of his attending a meeting. So I called up the service centre of Mehta enterprises at THANE- on the ph.no.[protected] on 17th Apr-2010 at @ 3.55pm. After hearing 8-10 rings the phone was answered by a lady. When I inquired from her about my call history and on what date and time did I lodge the complaint with them, to my surprise, she was not having any details of the complaint. It is SURPRISING to note that they donot have a history of the complaints received and the answers given to customers over phone are 'RIDICULOUS' and 'STUPID' to the extent that 'I was on leave and someone else might have attended your call, hence I am unable to give the details of the nature of complaint logged by you.'
                      There is absolutely no system in place at all. Moreover, she was giving me the field engineer's cell number so that I would directly speak to him. If this be the case, then what for are the office staff for? If the call is taken by the office staff, then is not their duty to answer the queries regarding the call? What purpose is served by giving the service engineers cell no.? When I denied taking the service engineers cell no. and demanded that she shoud just give me the date and time when my complaint was received and the service date assured by them. I was given an assurance by the lady that she will revert to me in few minutes, but she did not revert back. So, after @ 20 mins, I called up again at 4.15 pm. Again the same reply that she will revert back in few minutes. Now it is 5.35 pm. Almost 95 minutes have gone by and I am yet to recieve the so callled "Reply' from Ms/ Mehta Enterprises' Office.
                      It is disgusting to know that this is the level of improtance given to the customers valuable time.
                      THE OFFICE STAFF IS ABSOLUTELY USELESS AND GOOD FOR NOTHING, to put it mildly.
                      It's a pity that a brandname like IFB is in the hands of such incompetent people, which is bringing disrepute to the company.
                      IF you are thinking to purchase any IFB Producr please think 1000 times before u purchase the product.

                      Here the After Sales service is just worst, employees dont know how to talk with the customers,
                      they dont know anything regarding their product, their Authorities are useless.

                      Only they want to make money through servicing their products every now & than, the best way to make money they have come with is their "AMC Plan" ( Bull ).

                      Dont dare to Buy any of IFB.

                      And i have 4.5 years Amc also. We are upset in this matter call center people don’t give any support. They are simply cheating me - transfer the call to the senior officer but nobody pickup the call. I don’t know the IFB is working or closed. After one week i will return back the machine to Vasanth and co Thamparam .After 15 days i will take the support from consumer court
                      Our IFB washing machine has not worked for more than 2 months continuously (we use it only 10 days a month). The service staff only want to make money on the side. They do not honor the warranty, & even complaining to higher authority at IFB is useless. Basically a fraud company that shall soon close down.

                      I am one of your customers who bought IFB washing machine of 5-kg Elena model in 2008.
                      I bought it from Bhilai Radio house, civic centre, Bhilai. (c.g.)-490001. Few back It gave trouble by leaking water from the bottom. I gave complaint to the shop. After two days your service person came & chacked. He informed us that the door rubber to be changed. Then we replaced the rubber & door also with the total cost around 2000. When it was running without load no water came out. Next day when we put clothes & start the machine again the water started leaking. Then again we gave compalint to the shop. There we talked to your service man Mr.Nasir Khan. His talking & response style made us very much annoyed. Right now machine is under leaking condition. nobody has not yet come. kindly enable us to rectify the problem & help us to free us from the service of such persons.

                        Sir t, the IFB washing machine has been owned by me since 2002 Right from
                        the beginning, it is not up to the satisfaction . We had opted AMC, which has its
                        full utilisation throught the year.Replacement of drum. gasget IC etc., still the
                        temperature control IC has not been replaced by the mechaanic in spite of AMC.

                        I registered a complaint for my IFB washing machine, which is under AMC. But to my surprise no one has attended to the complaint till date. whats more frustrating is that the customer care is least bothered with this and show a laid back attitude. I have contacting the chennai customer care but every time saying your complaint is forward to concerning service branch, technician come to your sight at the earliest but no one is come to my house.                         I posted a complaint on Nov 20 through ur toll free number mainly for two complaints of my IFB ELENA machine. The main complaints are the problem of motor and the whater inlet hose connected with tub and the soup power box. After two weeks the motor replaced but the hose which is leaky is not replace till the date.

                          Hai,

                          My Washing machine is under warranty period. Machine is leaking while spinning and power trips off. I have given a complaint about this problem. Complaint no. 2639559 (Bangalore). Technicians attended the problem (by chasing them). They are inefficient, unskilled and not understanding the problem, (from where it leaks and how it can be arrested). The leakage problem is aggravated after technicians attempt and power trip continues. It is disappointing the poor response from the reputed IFB Company.

                          i have made complaint regarding leakage from the tub on 31.8.2010 but till no positive response have been given.our complaint no is 5026939
                          I purchased IFB Eva Sx Washing Machine on[protected]. On[protected] company technician came, gave Demo and the very First wash launched and he left my house.

                          After completion of wash, as per his instructions I tried to unplug the water pipe adopter. The whole adopter came out of pipe.I tried to fit it to pipe, but the screws are not working. I am not able to fit it.

                          On[protected] I registered complaint with company by phone.

                          On[protected] company technician came, examined and he said like this: THIS ADOPTER IS OUT OF WORK and THE COMPANY WILL NOT REPLACE IT AS IT WILL NOT COME UNDER WARRANTY/GUARANTY. I astonished after hearing these words.

                          I invested Rs 26, 500/- for IFB Washing Machine (including accessories)

                          I think I AM THE FOOLEST PERSON IN THIS WORLD WHO INVESTED Rs 26, 500/- for washing of just 5 pairs of dress.

                            I have purchased IFB washing machince - Senator and the same is still under AMC. On 1/2/09 the machine was producing noise while spinning henceI had complained to the call centre.Delhi. I had only delhi number with me as I shifted to Mumbai in June 2008. While giving complaint I even gave my new contact details and new address. After 2 days the technician called me and said that he is near my Delhi address. Once again I explained to him that I have shifted to Mumbai and I am facing problem with the machine here. He gave me different number and many people came on line but nobody was interested in solving my issue. Every one was giving different numbers. Finally I got thru Suresh @ [protected] who attended to my machine after 2 days. He intially told that the bearing has problem and said that he will fix the same the next day. Next day again he said there is problem with some other part and said he will repair the same soon. Now it has become more that 12 days still my machine is not functional. This is a pathetic service of IFB and I am really fed up following up with the person. Pls take this complaint seriously and take suitable action against IFB.

                            IFB WASHING MACHINE — Most Pathetic Service

                            I am from Mumbai. I brought IFB machine 2 months back and started experiencing problems. The Service centre is most worst part. Their timings: 12 noon to 6 pm. So I have ensure some one is available at home during this hours. Also they dont give any approx time about the technician's visit. So we have keep waiting for them. Quality of technicians are poor. The last time the technician handle the "Rinse" nob so badly that it has become un usable now.

                            Overall I very unhappy and would not recommend IFB to anyone.
                            I am under AMC (11.01.08 to 10.01 09), my complaint reg. no is 2109260 dated 25-8-08, for the past 14 days my problem has not been solved. The service agency XCELL CARE, CHENNAI -- 16 are cheating us every day telling that my problem will be solved that day. More when ever I call a service person they never attend my call and even if they attend they try to passify me for that moment and they never turn up. Even in your call centers the same is happening and they also protect them and not the customer. In this mail I have not mentioned any of your service persons name or mobile number (IFB and Dealer), if you require it surely it will be mailed by me to you. I hope that atleast now my problem will be solved, if not even then surely I will handle this matter leagly. (Regarding this complaint none of your ifb/service persons has not contacted me)

                            I wish to draw your attention on the pathetic service quality offered by your Ahmedabad branch and service provider M/s smile Care.

                            Fault no. 1 and apathy of Service branch
                            The first experience was on 4th August'08 when we lodged a complaint regarding malfunctioning of outlet hose of machine. After numerous follow ups and speaking to local service head Mr Mandar (who seems to enjoy Z category security as to speak to him i had to make no less than four phone calls clearly detailing every word i need to tell him), we were obliged by the services of a technician. He apparently had come to repair the machine but it appeared that he was more for marketing the Annual Maintenance contract (AMC )services.

                            Unique way of marketing by Service Provider leading to fault number 2
                            We were not very much convinced with his marketing and seeing our disinterest he managed to somehow make a small cut on the machine belt without our knowledge. after repairing (actually replacing) the outlet pump, he drew our attention to the "dilapidating" condition of belt and further insisted on AMC.

                            However we were not impressed. After about ten days the machine again conked off. With previous experience of service quality we acted "smart" and instead of registering compliant on call centre, we simply asked the service provider to come over for "discussing AMC" . Needless to say the service was prompt this time (Reason: To add one more AMC in their record). The belt was then replaced with full charges. We did not buy AMC again.

                            Later during discussions at home we pondered that perhaps the service response is bad due to our not being an AMC client. So we decided to take AMC and the same was done (AMC no. 3635 dated 11.09.08)

                            Fault number 3 and Goo[censored]ps at call centre
                            Our misfortune did not stop here. the machine running fantastic for past 3 years somehow got friendly with the technicians and again refused to start on 24th Sept'08.
                            With a presumption that we now being in the elite AMC club, we will be serviced fast, my wife called up the customer service[protected] and registered her complaint at 5:45 p.m. The soft spoken call centre employee assured her that somebody will attend in next 24 hours. No one turned up in next 24 hours we waited for another 24 hours
                            After 48 hours on 26th Sept08 i followed up by calling at same number and there was same response "somebody will attend in next 24 hours".
                            On 27th Sept i got little anxious seeing the huge pile o[censored]nwashed laundry at home. So i again called up at customer service and the lady gave me my complaint number and asked to contact the "service provider- M/s Smile Care".
                            Upon calling Smile care i was told that the said complaint number is of 4th august and the call has been completed.

                            Aghast.!!!... i called up the "customer service" again. Now the lad explained me as
                            "Sir. your complaint number 2240161 is dated 4th august and the same has been closed now. since we are not able to generate new complaint number till the time old complaint number is not closed we had simply put remarks in the old complaint only but it seems our service provider has overlooked and has "by mistake" closed the complaint. Anyway i am registering your new complaint, please take down the number as 2230568 dated 27.09.08, now somebody will contact you on Monday 29th Sept."

                            Service Centre adds fuel to fire
                            As usual and expected no one came on Monday, after follow up at service centre one technician turned up and detected that Motor is faulty and needs replacement and asked us to cough up Rs.4000/- as the machine is not under AMC.
                            My wife immediately called me up to inform this, in turn i called up at the local branch and somehow managed to speak to Mr. Mandar. I explained him the entire situation and told him that the only proof of AMC we have is the cheque number (amount Rs.1623) which has been debited from my account. However he was totally unaware of such transaction and assured me that he will look into.Later i was denied any contact with him by his phone operator.

                            Faulty recording by Service Provider
                            Meanwhile after my wife's arguments with the technician, he could find that the AMC is done but the machine serial number is entered incorrectly in AMC records. He returned saying that he will look in godown if the spare motor is available he will replace tomorrow or else we have to wait till a new motor is delivered in their godown.

                            Today on 30th when we called up at M/s Smile care, a lady called Ms. Praveena picked up the phone and responded in her mechanical voice "if the spare is available it will be done tomorrow" When we asked whether she can tell if the spare is available or will be available in near future She shouted on us and asked to call only after 4 p.m.

                            Betrayed Customer
                            Now, we do not know whom to complaint and what mistake did we do in spending those extra few thousands in buying an IFB machine instead of Videocon which is working without any fail for past ten years at my parents place.

                            IFB is not a consumer oriented company. Their strategy is to outsource maintenance and make money in outsourcing. The outsourced maintenance companies force cuctomers to enter into AMC else machine lies unrepaired. Once AMC is awarded, be prepared to shell out additional 2000 Rs annually on one or other part which they claim has gone bad.
                            I had similar experience and company did not care to respond also.

                            i purchased IFB washing machine, Model-Executive Plus in nov'2007
                            since then I am facing a lot of problem.
                            The machine which vibarated at a very high speed and had problem while spinning was
                            finally replaced after 10 months on making numerous requests to do the favour.
                            replacement too was a long procedure.my machine was dismantled 10 day before i was
                            provided with the new one.sorry to say that but it was not the end of my miseries.

                            sir/madam, i was shocked to know that the replaced machine was used one and also had some problems.
                            i was proud to be one of the customer of such an esteemed organisation
                            and had high expectations regarding the product and the services, but all in vain.
                            presently both the machines are at my place and of no use.the incident has hurt us a lot.
                            I had registered a complaint with IFB on the 18th of November. I was informed that my machine would be attended within 48 hours. Six days have passed and today, the technician phones me and wants to know the nature of the complaint. When I lodged the complaint, I had given a detailed list of the problems that I faced with the machine. The same experience has been experienced by my niece and she too just want to get rid of her IFB washing machine. Once the technician comes to attend to the fault a big bill is thrust on the customer. Something has to be done to, since most of the IFB customers are at wits end. I personally recommend, " BUYING AN IFB WOULD GIVE ONE NIGHTMARES"
                            I have an IFB washing machine digital 7kg. It is still under warrenty.
                            Despite of multiple phone calls no one has attended the call.
                            Call centre is worst I have seen in last few years. No one picks up the phone. You will have to wait for minimum 15 minutes before someone attends your call. Even if you are connected, you will have tough time explaining and understanding the representatitves. Very poor communication skills.
                            First representative disconnected by phone in the middle of conversasion.
                            Second one gave me a complaint number with an assurance that someone will come to fix the problem next day.
                            One day later, another representative gave me name of local service station in Pune:
                            Enigma Enterprises contact number 65000201 cellphone number [protected] name of contact person
                            Param Yadav and his personal cellphone number [protected]. I was highly impressed with the details provided to me until I tried reaching them.
                            Enigma Enterprises does not exists in Pune. 65000201 is switched off, [protected] is switched off and My Yadav is not attending the call.
                            Next day when I again tried reaching call centre, I had to repeat the same story and this time I got a new number[protected] which is again not reachable.

                            THis is the worst after-sales I have seen. There are other pathetic service stations available but this one is the worst.

                            I will never ever recommend IFB products to anyone.
                            My IFB washing machine is under AMC. I am located in Noida. Repeated calls to the call center get the same stupid response that the complaint will be attended in 24 hrs. It's been more than a week and no service engineer has turned up. There is no higher authority with whom one can lodge complaint. The phone number of the service franchises for the area are not responding to calls. This is the worst service ever for any of the appliances that I own. IFB simply charges inordinately high AMC amount to customers and does not provide any service nor does it compensate in any way for its poor service. They should be made to refund the AMC amount along with punitive charges for irresponsible and fraudulent trade practices - their call center should be hauled up for being rude and irresponsive to customer complaints. IFB should be forced to recall all its defective products and refund the cost of purchase along with punitive damages.

                            we have an IFB front loading machine whcih has started malfunctioning. for which I feel shame due to poor service under AMC at Delhi. Mr Dubey (# [protected] ) never pick his mobile, who has done our AMC contract & he never try to conatct us . Our AMC yearly contact is of Rs 1700/- We tried the customer care numbers given on the brochure, but none worked. then we got call centre numbers from web sites of IFB. Again there is no response and at times we have to hang on for more than 10 minutes thereby wasting our calls. IFB, a reputed complaint has a very very shoddy customer care. They should wake up to this . If service is not given in one week, I am going to complaint in the consumer court for taking money in the name of AMC by frauding us

                            I am going to take IFB Elina DX. Please tell me any body is it my decision is right or wrong.Because i heard many many complain about IFB regarding service. Please help me.
                            I have been trying to call your call centre since 3 day it keeps me on hold & my machine is spoiled I have an anual contract with your company & that place we do not work for IFB now we will charge you extra to come & visit & look into the matter
                            It is very unfortunate that IFB is providing a very poor customer service to its elite customers. Dealers are only interested in roping new customers without giving any notice to to service to the existing customers. The limit was crossed when the customer service agent himself was indulged in replacing duplicate spare parts, wherein IFB is advocating the use of genuine spare parts.
                            Myself too a victim of such an unprofessional servise as my IFB washing machine, SENATOR 6 KG got some technical snags . Upon informing the customercare service, the agent responded and upon examining the washing machine he declared that the control circuit plate was defective and need replacement. As the equipment was under warrenty period the services were provided, but to my dismay the washing machine again got the same snag after few months. Again the service centre agent did the same thing. Interestingly the defect resurfaced third time.Upon going in the issue deeply, i found that the spar part he was replacing was actually duplicate. When I enquired about the details the agent turned up hostile and didnt responded properly. Seeing the situation even the dealer of the washing machine washed his hands off.                             Such a poor customer service is just keeping others at bay from buying such an elite product because after all, after sale service matters a lot.

                            I have purchased IFB washing machine Senator 6 kg fornt loading machine last week. Before buying the machine i enquired from many of my friends and collegues abuout the performance of the machine. The report from every one was extreemly positive. However many of the intenet sites on custormer feed back was extreemly depressing. So far the functioning of the new machine is just excellent. But i may have to see its functioning in the long run.

                            I have the same problem. My washing machine is under warranty. The engineer could not figure out the problem and tried to repair somehow and now, it is a dead piece of equipment. The engineer stopped coming. The service centre now-a-days after hearing the complaint no. disonnect the line. Please be very careful in buying IFB products. After sales service just does not exist in this company.
                            This is reg complaint number 3587861 dated 06/10/2009.
                            Though the complaint has been raised on 06th, no resolution has been provided yet. The technician (Anil Kumar) who attend on 07th has isolated the issue to be with motor and said that needs to be
                            replaced.

                            My machine is still under warranty.The technician was so irresponsible that he didnot place a order for motor replacement immediatly. When we contacted customer care, they asked us to contact the area sales manager Mr. Srinivas. When contacted Srinivas he refered Mr. Dharini Kumar, who said that the technician has placed an order after 3 days of his visit.

                            When contacted Dharini kumar yesterday (22/10/09), he said motor has been couriered and waiting for technician as the technician is on leave.Today being 17th day after lodging the complaint, issue has not been solved. None of the above (Dharini Kumar or Anil Kumar) is not picking the call today.

                            Dear sir,

                            I have purchasec IFB alite 5 Kg machine 3 years ago. The machine is under AMC after expiry of warrenty. During Septmber 2008 one IFB technician has come my resisdence and said he has come check the washing machine as a routine check. He has opened the top and checked some thing and suggested us to take a desalination unit costing Rs. 1, 800/-. We thought this will improve the perforamance of the machine and purchased the same.

                            After some days we noticed the machine is not working properly. In cold position water is heated and spoiling the cloths. We gave a complaint and after great struggle the technician has disconnected the heating element (thermostat) time being and we are able to wash the cloths in cold state.

                            Subsequently the technician, on several reminders to the local serviice manager has replaced the thermostat. We thought that the unit will work alright. On 25.12.2009 complaint[protected] when we washed the costly cloths in cold position all the cloths damaged due to abnormal heat generated even though the knob is in cold position. We understand that the technician has done nothing but simply replaced the thermostat.

                            With great difficulty and a technician has come to me residance and replaced the thermostat. Since I am a technical person I throughly monitored the work carried out by the service person. There are three pins on one side of the thermostat. out of these three middle pin was left vaccant and ist, 3rd pins were connected. earlier also the thermostat was in this state. I did not leave the service person and demanded a demo wash of the machine. Fanally he has atempted a cold wash.The situation is same as before replacing the thermostat.

                            Service person has contacted some body at Visakhapatnam and changed the connection of the pins . Now the 2nd and 3rd pin were connected. Machine is running aslright.

                            This shows the ignorance of the service persons on both the occations who attended my IFB Washing machine. I understand that the service person who visited during Sep 08 without any complaint, has disturbed the connections and he might have faced some problem while attending to some body's machine and for clarification he might have cross checked my wiring of the thermostat. To justify his visit he has told that he has come on a routine check.

                            The ignorance of the service person has damaged my costly clothe and has caused much inconvenience. I demand Rs. 10.000/- as compensation for the damage occurred by IFB people. I prefer to approach consumer form for justice if the compensation is not paid immediately.

                            IFB service point is just 0.5 km from my residance and never attended to the complaints immediately. Every person from IFB service feels that he is attending the complaint on obligation and never feel that it is primary reponsibilty.They are discurtious and treating the customer as illetarates and as service persons are highly qualified. This type of attitude is not correct.

                              I confirm having logged flg. complaint with M/S. IFB on the company's web-site:
                              We have IFB make front loading washing machine WT.2900DX. We have also paid and registered for AMC ( Annual Maint. Contract ). We are repeatedly facing problems with the machine and each time your service engineer takes upto a week just to respond. IFB is yet to respond to complaint registered on Friday Feb. 6th, 2009. We have flg. two specific complaints; which we request to be redressed immediately:
                              Extremely poor competence of Service engineer deployed by you.
                              Total disregard to customer service and delays in response.

                              IFB WASHING MACHINE — Repeated problems

                              I had great faith in IFB. But now I am frustrated with your customer care service. When my digital washing Machine developed a snag, I was informed that the circuit board had to be replaced. . But to my dismay after the lapse of 2 weeks of my complaining the machine had not been repaired yet though it is on AMC. The service centre blamed the company for not sending the spare. Unless you care for the customer how can we trust IFB in future?

                              At the time of buying the digital machine, the salesman elobrately pointed out the advantages. But now the mechanics criticize the machine as it developed snags during rainy season. Why don't you find out a long lasting solution to this drawbacks. I sincerely expect a quick response from you.

                              I have purchased IFB washing machine, but machine is giving trouble continously, so many time I have complained to IFB company but as and when yr Representative visiting, charging Rs.200/= which is not justify, if minor defect is their yr rep has to repaired it at free of cost. Service is very very poor, being a purchase officer at ONGC I will not recomend to purchase IFB make any product, my self and my friends has purchase IFB fully Auto washing machine, both facing lot of problem. We both will not recomend to purchase IFB machine even to our relatives and friends. very very poor service.

                                I have brought a Microwave oven Model 25SCI on 17th April 2007 and I have entered into an AMC vide receipt no.1182 on 20th June 2008, I have registered a complaint vide no.2630900 on 18th January' 2009 the service person came and inspected and told that some magnet and transformer need to be changed and till now there is no reply, when ever i contact them they say this week it will be completed. Can any one let me know the details of IFB companies higher authorities no. or mail ids, so that I can escalate things. Further I want to take up this matter to consumer forum, can anyone help me on this.

White delivery of this Microwage oven. we spoke to a person to install, the person salys that the Engineer will come and install and tell about the microwave oven.

                                Sorry to say that your Engineer has not come so far after the delivery of the producd on. 18.6.2010.

                                We are waiting the Engineer will come and install the Microwage oven.

                                  I have puchsed ELENA washing Machine during 2006. Now the machine iis producing loud noice on spinning. service person attended and informed that the drum is to be replaced as it went out of order due to the use of HENKO detergent which I cannot believe . is there any relation between the detergent and the drum rotating with noice. the drum must have been removed from the belt or fittings which he is not accepting and demanding Rs2500/- for the replacement of the drum . Kindly intimate what is actual technical problem, is there is any relation between the detergent and the drum, it is to be replaced as suggested by the service person

                                    Timer problem

                                    I bought ifb washing machine (Executive ellite) here in varanasi, 3 years back, i encountered the problem after using it for about 13-14 months, the timer was not working, so during the washing period, the machine does not rotated,
                                    Since it was still under warranty, the faulty timer was replaced (Approx cost 2300 rs.) free of cost.

                                    Now again after the replacement, the machine worked fine for another 18 months, then...

                                    I had complained several times about the IFB Microwave Oven. Unfortunately they don have any customer service number, so i could only register the complaint online on their website... Till date no response and no fix... The warrantee period ends this month... and wat do i do, pay for it, wen it was a bad quality product from the company!!! IFB is the worst i have ever seen... I neitheram gonna buy anymore of it nor will I recommend to my known ones...

                                    I did find their customer service number but of no use... they then give u the franchisee number and ask u to follow it up...
                                    I live in Aligarh(UP).I had complaint(Comp.no 3040228) of my microwave on[protected], its in the warrenty period.Daily i m calling on their service center at().many times i had talk with their officers (Mr.Sumit-[protected] and Mr Chandan Singh -[protected], head of customer service-UP Region ) but not get any proper responce.
                                    Numbers of any higher authorties are not available
                                    many times on their website i had complaint but no response i got.
                                    their products are worst
                                    their licence should be cancelled.
                                    they dont take customers compalints seriously.
                                    Similar ex[perience I am also havin. For the last 4 days I am also trying hard to get my complaint regarding IFB Washing Machine attended. But to no avail. Same (Mr?) Chandan Singh and (Mr.?)Sumit are proving to be elusive
