I HAVE PURCHASED DISHWASHER APPROX. 6-8 MONTHS BACK IN FARIDABAD, WITH IN 10 DAYS THERE WAS A PROBLEM, THEY REPLACED . I WAS TERRIFIED, I TOOK AN EXTENDED WARRANTY OF 2 YEARS . BUT THE FATE IS I AM CALLING THEM FROM THE LAST 3 MONTHS, MAILING THEM, SENDING THE REMINDER THROUGH MAIL FROM THE LAST 7 DAYS . EARLIER IT WAS A VERBAL CONVERSATION ON PHONE WITH MR. BURMAN IN THEIR DELHI OFFICE . HE HAD BEEN GIVING EXCUSES OF THE PART NOT BEING THERE WITH THEM.

STILL MY COMPLAINT IS UNHEARD OF .

I STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT TO USE / BUY ANY PRODUCT FROM IFB.

I am also having same experience with the great IFB Dishwasher service. The very next day of installation, it gave problem & last 15days (half month) I have been calling them to attend the job. But no response. Within a few days, I will go for put a complaint against IFB SERVICE CENTRE, VISAKHAPATNAM, in consumer forum.

I will suggest all my friends not to use any IFB product.

IFB - Washing MC and Dishwasher — Very poor response

I have recently bought IFB Dishwasher and Washing M/C but inspite of their commitments of installing the same on Sunday ther are not ready to come even on Monday. Every day they are postponing the dates. I never expcted such a poor response from IFB.
If they don't come forward today i am willing to write officially.

service centre , visakhapatnam — Non supplying of dishwasher accessories

I have obtain a request no.44017 on 13th. august 2008 for delivery of 2 KG of dishwasher salt, which was ti be attended within 48 hrs. but till today i have not been delivered the product.
Biggest mistake of my life!!!I keep asking myself why did the thought of buying this dishwasher come to me.Its only a waste of my 25, 000.Purchased Neptune dishwasher in Feb, 2007.Ever since right from getting through the call centre number, then receiving the salt, washing powder etc. and lately after a crucial 2 week wait for the technician after repeated reminder calls from my side has been a tough fight mentally.You call one person that one will switch you to another then another and so on it continues till you are completely frustrated and offer some warning to that person, a little something is actully done.All that I can say is I would never ever ever recommend anybody to buy a probuct of IFB.All you would receive is disappointment and frustration.

I have purchased zephyrEX DishWasher of IFB in Sep 2008. After purchasing machine, I was given a kit of Salt, Powder and Rinse Aid. Now from last 25 days everyday I am begging to IFB SERVICE CENTERS for new kit of powder and rinse aid. Every day I am wasting half an hour for follow up. Each of them, representative gives new numbers from here and there, I called from Bangalore Service Center to Ahmedabad branch office, and every day they are saying foolish statement of wait for 2 days, wait for 2 days.If such a situation continues, then there is no meaning of Dishwasher. I have to again go for "KAMWALI". I CAN NOT UNDERSTAND, MACHINE OF 25000RS IS RECEIVED WITHING TWO DAYS OF PURCHASE ORDER AND ITS POWDER OF ONLY 250RS REQUIRES MONTHS TO BE DELIVERED. VERY VERY POOR AFTER SALE SERVICE. WHAT IS THE MEANING OF MONOPOLY OF THIS DETERGENT AND RINSE AID.
If any body has another source for this dishwasher detergent and rinse aid in Gujarat, please tell me. I will go for that detergent, otherwise this machine will become a SHOWCASE PIECE.

Hi Everybody, Purchased IFB Neptune dishwasher 4 months ago. Its biggest lifetime mistake made by myself. IFB is useless company and service is very very worst. We need to beg them to solve our problems. So for all consumers, my personal suggestion is that please dont buy any of IFB products in your lifetime. Better to wash utilities of yr own rather then begging IFB.

Please dont buy IFB products in yr lifetime. I made mistake in purchasing IFB dishwasher 4 months ago and last 3 months we are washing our utilities using servant maid. I lost Rs 25K as well as peace of mind. IFB products useless in standard and quality. Also they use very low grade materials to built their product. IFB service is one of the very worst and we can award them for worst service provider.
I have similar experience. I have a neptune dish washer. They took two weeks to install after purchase. the service people were rude in replying the queries. Now that I need to buy the watersoftening salt and wash powder, they say i have to buy at least 5 packets for delivery. And their phone never works.
well, I'm never going to refer IFB stuff to anyone...Just hate that name now...they tell us to buy contracts for servicing...and they never come to do some servicing..and when The contract is over...they come back again and tell us to get another contract for the servicing..and they disappear again...I mean what the hell is that? I went to service center on Monday..They told us that they'd come to our home next day...and as usual they are not here...The hell I'll wait for that again? I'm busy with my own stuff too... I gave them a full day to come..but they ain't..If they are doing it again, I'm going to put an FIR or go for consumer forum.
I am given complaint from dated 25/02/09 to 22/04/09 six times last Ticket number is 2950412 dated 22/4/09, Neptune dishwasher is not working, your technision is attend the complaint not properly

IFB Dishwasher — No service despite AMC

Despite several reminders and followup with IFB on dishwasher complaints there is not service provided even though they have collected full AMC contract amount.

Not sure if Indian Judicial system has any solution to this - if not then we will prove to be a truly third world country.

I had purchased dish washer through order no.71603.from IFB appliances, but I have not received free gift hamper of IFB as was promised.more than 20 days have gone.
Will some body tell me where from I can get the powder, salt and softener etc (other than the IFB ).
I am thoroughly disappointed with IFB's service overall. Very poor installation service and improper instructions on regular maintenance. I realized this only after my most recent breakdown of my dishwasher. I agree with everybody's comments that IFB has the worst record for service. Even after repeated calls, all I hear is that the part has been ordered, and that it will get done. The technician who I call passes off the blame to someone else and gives me somebody's number. Overall, everyone is rude and doesn't care about providing good service. It is close to 2 wks since my dishwasher broke and still there's no sight of any service. I must say that the technician did come to take an initial look, but has not turned up to fix the problem. I wish I had never bought an IFB product. Moreover, there is no central contact number anywhere on their site. The register a complaint and feedback sections never function. I am wondering if they have been deliberately disabled. My advice to all out there: Never buy anything from IFB.
The IFB service is really bad, the engineers just dont respond at all. Would not recommend IFB for this reason.
I bought a IFB dishwasher from Lanmark Kottayam on[protected] and the very second day the switch
developed a complaint and after repeated calls no one has come from the office concerned.

IFB Dishwasher — The worst aftercare ever

I have had a complaint with IFB for 6 weeks now. I call roughly twice a week (moving to daily from now) and am always told someone will call me. Nobody does. I have never experienced such appalling customer service in my life. They even tried telling me that the dishwasher was not under warranty at first. However as there is a 2 year warranty and I purchased it new and have only been in India for one year... They have finally accepted this after I offered to show them my passport to show when I arrived. Outrageous doesn't even come close and I am wasting so much time on this.

Even i agree with other complaints. Service is very poor specially in New Mumbai and there technicians are not qualified and trained each time when i complaint about the drying system each technician gave me different problems finally i stopped calling them. Even i[censored] order for rinse aid/salt or detergent one need to wait for a long time so i prefer to buy it in bulk after sales service is very POOR. Even I would never suggest anyone to go for IFB PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANY IFB PRODUCT
I too have an AMT but of no use as customer service is not responding. Is there any IFB office in Bangalore where one can go and talk instead of talking over phone.
Well it is now 17 November and IFB have yet to fix the problem with the dishwasher, or even call me to say they are coming. I have never experienced anything like this. If you are considering buying an appliance, do yourself a favour and DON'T buy anything from IFB. No customer service, no culpability and the machine is still under warranty for 6 more months! Possibly the worst company/products out there.

IFB - Dishwasher NEPTUNE — Bad quality service

Hi,

I possess an IFB Dishwasher for the past three years. I have been having continuous problems with the performance of this machine since the last year.

The biggest problem is the service that the service centre in Pune provides. The issues are as follows:

1. Lack of professionalism and bad response time. Lot of follow up required even for their attention though I have signed an Annual Maintenance Contract
2. Lack of knowledge of the product by the service personnel
3. Lack of availability of the necessary spare parts
4. Lack of availability of the consumables for the dish washer

I would like to register this complaint with the consumer forumn to ensure better quality service in neat future.

IFB — No customer service or response despite contacting them for one month

We live in Chennai.
We had purchased an IFB washing machine 2 years ago. The product has crossed the warranty period. However, it is under Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC).
We are having a problem with the washing from the past one month. We are contacting the customer care/service center from the past one month. They say they have registered the complaint and will be sending a mechanic to repair the fault every time we contact them. There has been no response from them. We have contacted all the people from the lowest to highest level in their company but each one points a finger at the other and there is no action taken. This is going on from the past one month. They promise us they will be sending technicians every time we call them within 24 hrs but no one turns up. Because of this, we are forced to cancel our programmes and wait for those people but in vain.
So, I want the money back which we had paid for the AMC and a proper compensation.
P.S: If I have ever given this complaint , it is out of sheer frustration. This might be a big issue to some and a small issue to some others but from my position, it has been a big headache. I have only been running my phone bills.
IFB is a good product but their service and attitude of service people is pathetic. despite having AMC, problems have not been attended and calls are not being attended. RIDICULOUS servise set up.

I AGREE WITH THE COMPLAINTS. THE MECHANIC DEPUTED BY THEIR CONTRACTORS/ SERIVICE

TECHNICIAN CAME AND REPLACED ICU AND STARTED THE MACHINE..BUT AFTER
SOME DURATION IT WAS FILLED WITH WATER AND STOPPED.THE TECHNICIAN ADVISED FOR REPLACEMENT OF PUMP.
I FAIL TO UNDERSTAND REASON FOR POOR QUALITY AND SUBSTANDARD PARTS
OF THE MACHINE. SUPPLIED BY SUCH A REPUTED COMPANY. I ALSO FEEL THAT THE TECHNICIANS BEING DEPUTED BY THEIR CONTRACTORS/SERVICE CENTRE
ARE INEXPERIENCED AND UNTRAINED FOR HANDLING SUCH SOPHISTICATED MACHINE AND CREATE PROBLEMS FOR THE CUSTOMERS WITH THE INTENTION OF MAKING MONEY .THE COMPANY HAS NO CONTROL OVER SUCH CONTRACTORS

On 27th August 2010 I had purchased a dishwasher and the dryer was not functioning. After lots of persuation, it was replaced on 5th September 2010. Again the same problem experienced. Mechanic has very limited knowledge about electronic and electricity. Mechanic was telling that the plug point was not earthened that is why the dryer is not functioning. This reason very difficult to understand. Again complaint lodged for replacement, God knows what will happen. The customer service particularly at Delhi is very very poor.

It is surprising that a company like IFB has such useless dealers/service centres who NEVER respond to your calls for the detergent. I am in Pune and for the past over two weeks the dealer has been promising to deliver the powder within "two days"...and I am still waiting.

Dec 4, 2011: We have an IFB Zephyr dishwasher purchased on 8-7-2007. It is under renewed AMC. At 4 p.m., I lodged a complaint on[protected]Complaint No.7772257, ID No. 1109473) that the dishwasher was not functioning. I was told that within 24 hours, a Serviceman would visit.
Dec 5, 2011: Two Servicemen visited at 2 p.m..Spent 10 mins and said Control Board needs to be replaced, will return when the part becomes available. Said we can use the machine in cold wash but had no time to demonstrate how!!!. Later, we tried to do a cold wash. It did not work. Phoned the call centre who asked I speak to Mr. Michael on[protected] or 24475969. I tried but Mr. Michael was not well, so had gone home. No one could give me a satisfactory response.
Dec.6, 2011:9.45 a.m. spoke to Mr. Michael, who said he would phone me in a half-hour. He did, and promised that the part would be changed today. Welcome News when others in the set up were saying that it may take 2 or 3 days! They even said that the Company only promised a Serviceman's visit in 24 hours and no commitment when repairs would be completed!! Anyway, I was happy to get Mr. Michael's helpful promise that a serviceman would install a new part today.

What IFB needs is more Michaels. The only way to improve their Service, which, I agree needs much attention.
Service of IFB dishwasher is baddd! Called them several times for supply of powder and service.. NO response!!

IFB washing machine : water leakage

I am using IFB washing machine, huge water leakage is there.

    I reside in Mumbai and bought IFB washing machine 3 years back from Vijay Sales. Vijay Sales raved about their after sales service. For 2 years it was just fantastic, then this year it started giving problems. During the first complaint, I had a harrowing experience with IFB guys in terms of running from pillar to post in getting them to my house to attend the problem. Then came a shocker - machine outdated, needs complete parts replacement. Paid through my nose for parts replacement and then for AMC. Thereafter it worked well for 2 months and now the machine is not functional since last thursday (180908) and logged a complaint (ticket # 2197443). The service engineer states it requires mator replacement. Now I am again running pillar to post as the service franchisee is not getting the replacement of motor from IFB Goa plant / office and in turn false commitments are given to us. The franchise owner (Anil Devakaran [protected]) and IFB office personnel in Mumbai (Ms Sonali[protected] are generally not reachable and if reachable have no empathy for their clients. Whats the point then to use the machine when we are made to run for the deserving service . Service engineers are uncouth and not committed - when they come home for repairs. Am determined to take IFB and Antek Services to Consumer Court this time. The website of IFB does not provide contact number of their Kolkata head office - nice way to ward of direct complainant(s). How long can they last in this consumer world and how long can they fleece customers with their shoddy products and pathetic after sales service approach and delivery.

I HAVE BOOKED A COMPLAINT WITH THE SERVICE HELP LINE VIDE COMPLAINT NUMBER 1569542 DT. 19.2.08 AND GOT AN ASSURANCE THAT THE MECHANIC WILL ATTEND THE COMPLAINT WITHIN 24 HRS. AFTER SEVEN DAYS STILL I AM WAITING FOR THE MECHANIC. TILL NOW I HAVE CONTACTED THE HELP LINE AT LEAST 9-10 TIME AND THEY WERE KIND ENOUGH TO GIVE ASSURANCE TO DIRECT THE MECHANIC BY TOMORROW MORNING OR IMMEDIATELY OR YOU NEED NOT CALL US AGAIN ETC. EVEN I HAVE CALLED THE VIZAG TECHNICIAN MR PRASAD TWO TIMES. HE ALSO GIVES ASSURANCES. I HAD VERY GOOD OPINION ABOUT IFB AND MADE UP MY MIND THAT IN FUTURE I WILL PURCHASE ONLY IFB PRODUCT.     This is to bring to your urgent notice that the IFB Machine, Model senorita PLUS, Serial no WTSEN+B35964 has been a nuisance and after regular complaints launched against it towards the Dealer i.e Korde Electronics’, Ponda –Goa we are not satisfied and fulfilled with the service .

    The complaint against the stains developed on the washed clothes which is due to the leakage of oil which the service man says is not yet solved . Apart from the stains also the machine makes such a loud noise as if it resembles the noise of a ‘train passing on railway track’.

    After using the DESCALE, the problem is solved just for few days and it reverts back soon after a month .This is really a headache wherein now the service man has suggested to open up the machine wherein we will be charged around about Rs[protected] or else we need to set some contract with the IFB company of Rs 2000 for a year wherein IFB company will take care of it for that period .

    As recognized manufacturers being IFB No 1 fully automatic machines we are not satisfied with the machine at all. We brought the machine dated on[protected]. we never got any proper service as I had mentioned in my earlier mail which I had sent to you in August 2007 or so, I would kindly suggest you to check the record of the same and urgently and spontaneously look into the matter which is getting worsened day by day.

    As per my earlier mail dated on 24.08.2008, the service provided by you is absolutely not appreciable.     I had purchased one IFB Washing Machine in December 2007. While shifting the machine to another location, consequent to transfer of residence, again I had to spent Rs.250 towards cost of bolts for fixing the mahine in dditron to their service charges. The service personnel who had installed the machine had not supplied the bolts nor informed of the requirement that the machine is to be locked while shifting to another location. When this was brought to the notice of the in-chrge of the servicing/company he approach was very humiliating.
    I had purchased IFB Elite in OCT 2007, for 2 to 3 months machine was working perfect, later started giving problem and till date it's giving problem Everytime I logged the complaint and engineer/sr.engineer visited the m/c and replaced the belt/gear/motor. Little positive hope is thst whenever I logged the complaint their engineer visited and done their job but the problem is repeating, now I'm really frustrated with this, not getting how I can get the replacement.

    I have stopped contacting local IFB service (franchise) centre at Anna Nagar though my washing is idle presently(permanently).

    You would have the details of visits of several service personnel to attend to the Washing machine in the recent past (i.e. from end 2008). The Service personnel who represent IFB do not leave a copy of their Service Report with the Customer after they ‘complete(!)’ the job.

    When I complained about the water leaking from bottom of washing machine, the service personnel who attended first, after a though examination suggested that ‘Hub’ need to replaced and it would take 4 days if the Hub is available in stock or a week if the item is not readily available in their Service Centre. You would have the details of its replacement. (Only)At the time of replacement of Hub9 (14 March 2009), the Service personnel had also informed me that ‘Rubber Sleeve’ is also torn and it also needs replacement. Since it not under the purview of AMC, the Rubber Sleeve would be provided on chargeable basis.

    I had apprised the ‘rusting' of Motor bracket itself is not justifiable, because the washing is in a secure place totally from any adverse environmental conditions viz. humidity, chemicals etc. since the machine is located in dining room itself. The Rusting could be attributed only poor production technique or substandard materials. The same logic can be extended to the life of “Rubber Sleeve” which was noticed ‘torn in three places’ along the circumference. This can never be due to poor maintenance by the customer or abuse of the machine since the machine is more or less idle for the last four long years, since the house itself is not occupied and there is no use of washing machine as such. The only possibility of its getting torn is the occasion when the ‘hub’ was replaced. Besides the torn condition was not there during the earlier two occasions when the service personnel attended to the machine.

    I wanted to keep the machine in optimum condition; I have agreed to pay for the “Rubber sleeve”.

    The service personnel informed that he would attend to the machine around 11.00 hours (on 15 March 2009) after collecting the item from his Office and it is 10 minutes job. He didn’t turn the next day. After waiting for a long time when I contacted the service Centre, they ‘informed me the ‘Rubber Sleeve’ not in stock, and the washing machine would be attend on Monday next. When I contact the Service Centre next Saturday (21 March 2009), they informed that service personnel would be deputed as soon as he reports in the Office. I would be informed soon after he drops in at the service centre. Around 12 noon, when I reminded them I was informed that the visit is delayed because of 'technical meeting' at the Service Centre, and some would positively attend to the machine by 4.00 p.m. When I contacted them at 4.00 p.m, I was informed that the 'Rubber Sleeve’ is not in stock’

    Hence frustrated, I had stopped contacting them to attend to the machine. The next week (March23) when one of the service personnel rang up. I had informed him that I had left my place to attend to the funeral and I would not be available on that day. When he contacted me the next day, I informed it is O.K. if he attends to the machine on Saturday. Besides, IFB offers no ‘guarantee’ for Rubber Sleeve’, I had asked to fit the old ‘Rubber Sleeve’ which was removed from the machine by IFB about 3-4 years ago. The old Rubber Sleeve though slightly torn at one place along the circumference is usable.

    IFB WASHING MACHINE — Defective product and pathetic customer service.

    I have a IFB washing Mchine which I'm using for a little over 1 year and ever since I have purchased this machine I had problem with the machine. Service Engineers of IFB would have visited my home to repair this atleast a dozen times and could not fix the problem for me. Either the machine is defective / inefficent or the service engineers are. Either of the cases I'm put to deep trouble and inconvienience. I have e-mailed a complaint regarding the same on 20th of April'09 and have not recd any responce till date from them. Appears like they dont care for any of these complaints.
    My strong recomendation to all potential buyers of IFB is a strict NO, NO, NO, NO and NO.

    I have purchased a IFB washing machine Digital 5Kg.from M/S Vivek company on 2008 My invoice No: 3808 and have paid for an extended guarantee till the year 2011.The problem with the machine is, it is making a hell of a at the time of spinning on load.The sound is like a rocket launching and to my repeated requests to your service personal no action is taken till date.I am worried about this sound as I live in a Flat and I have become a laughing stock to my fellow flat owners and they ridicule me for having a washing machine with such a loud noise.Your service person who came for service has no knowledge about the source of the sound problem and told it is usual in IFB machines.But I a not happy about his reply and contacted the Agency who told me that they will send an expert to look into the problem.Nearly 3 months have past and no attempt has been taken from the manufacturer's side to repair the machine till date.If you are not capable of attending to your machine what is the use of charging me for an extended warranty?please take immediate step in this matter to rectify the defect or I will be forced to take further action in this regard.
    I agree wholeheartedly with the all of the above. IFB after sales care is non-existant, they really do NOT care 1 iota about customer problems...I have spent the last 3 weeks trying to get an engineer out to look at my machine and diagnose the correct part needed, have been passed from "service" centre to customer "help" line and simply been fobbed off with false promises that my problem will be dealt with within 24 hours. I found this site whilst looking for the e-mail address for the IFB head office, to whom I wish to address a full written complaint and lo, the whole search page listed a host of disatisfied IFB customers. I am absolutely disgusted with IFB and would NEVER buy another product from them. The 3200 rupees I paid for the after sales maintenance contract was an utter waste of money.     IFB Washing Machine : AMC Contract No. 6909 (26 Jun 08 to 25 Jun 09)

    I wish to bring to your notice that I had taken the above mentioned AMC fully paid for in advance on 26 Jun 2008.
    On 14 May 09 at about 12 noon, I had registered my complaint no. 3026928, as my IFB washing machine was not working.
    I was assured that the machine would be attended to the same day after 1630 hrs. Noone has contacted me or attended the complaint.
    I contacted the call center again on 15 May 09. They assured that they would expedite the case. The call center gave me the contact no. of Mr. Ravi, the franchisee at (Hebbal), - on contacting him he said he was not responsible for my area. Mr. Ravi gave me another contact no., this no. was a wrong no.
    I again contact the call center, who gave me another contact no. of Vijay Lakshmi Enterprises. On contacting this franchisee, the first reaction of the lady on the phone was to state that I was to contact another francisee. On varifying the address of Vijay Lakshmi Enterprises, I found that it was less that ONE km. from my house.
    I was certain that this was the very franchisee that had made the AMC and collected the AMC fees. On taking Mr. NOOR's name, from her organisation who had collected the cheque from me, then she agree to send a technician by 1700 hrs the same evening ( 15 May 09 ). At 1800 hrs, when I contacted Vijay Lakshmi Enterprises again, they told me that the technician has been given the work order and will be attending to my complaint.
    The technician did not come on 15 May 09.
    On 16 May 09, I contacted Vijay Lakshmi Enterprises, again. They told me that Mr. Sendil is the technician who has been detailed to attend to my complaint, his mob. no. [protected] was given to me. I contacted Mr. Sendil, he said he would come by 1 PM. After 1 PM his phone was switched off. At about 5PM I contacted him, he said he would be in my house by 6 PM. At 6 PM, when I contacted him he told me that he is travelling towards my house, - he never arrived and also switched off his phone thereafter and was able to contact him only on Monday 18 May 09 at 10.30 am. The said that he will be with me by 12 noon, however, another person Mr. Nawas was sent at 1PM.
    The mortor was replaced with a reconditioned one which is not working. Today, 19 May 09 the franchisee assured me that they will send another motor, which has not happened until 12 noon, 19 May 09.
    On all days, from 15 May to 19 May 09, I have contacted and reported the matter to the call center about this franchisee's behaviour, who have stated that the only help they can render, is by sending a reminder to the franchisee.
    On 19 May 09, I contacted the call center, they inform me that my previous complaint has been successfully attended too, hence closed. A new complaint has been registered as no. 3043967.
    From the above experience, it seems that a customer having taken an AMC is at the mercy of the franchisee, who are arrogant, irresponsible, unprofessional, lack adequate knowledge & training and have no clue about customer service or care.

    Service is very poor. For installation, service people came after two weeks. Till that period, washing machine was kept like a show case. I contacted call centre repeated times. they told to contact the service centre manager directly at last. Then what is role of call centre people?

    within a year of purchase 7 to 8 times the machine got repaired. every time there is some problem or the other. now recently even after the repairs there is water leakage from the bottom and also the machine is not spinning.

    If you have already done the mistake of buying the IFB products. At least now check with the Manual and check for the accessories given along with the machines. Certainly they will miss something to give you. Write down all the call centre numbers, service engineers numbers, and note down boldly this may require you to deal with Service people to call more than 50 calls. Your followup will start with Highly irresponsive Call Centre staffs, Networked / Computer problems of Call centres, also learn some nasty abusive languages to deal with THICK skin service heads.

    IFB WASHING MACHINE — Washing machine has been opened up for repair by the technician and nobody attends thereafter for 20 days.

    Our IFB washing machine which is one year old and within warranty was not working. Complaint registered on 22.09.09 vide no 3523343. After a week a technician responded to the call and opened up the machine stating that he would come back next day. 15 days sinnce nobody has turned up and the local service in charge Mr Kamalkar is very irresponsible and evasive who keeps saying that somebody will turn up before 2pm and another day goes by.     IFB WASHING MACHINE — MACHINE NOT WORKING TO THE REQUIREMENTS

    I have purchased the 6kg digital washing machine in Nov 2007. I have been facing problems with this machine since then and many times complaints have been registered. Service people have changed almost all the parts and still they are unable to identity the problem. Still I am unable to use the machine for the purpose why I have purchased the machine. On 08-1-10, after many reminders, Mr.Sankar came and he said there is some technical problem with the machine and he took our grievances in writing, copy of the same was not given us. I am really upset, because they have closed the complaint without even attending to the complaint. Nobody came home for enquiry/service.     The Franchisee of IFB Industries Ltd Thanjavuar provided Annual Maintenance contract with me on 22nd July 2009 for the I F B Executive Elite Washing Machine on payment basis. In the month of December 2009 the machine did not tumble, drum did not moving and heater did not working. Totally the machine did not working properly. They do not solve the problem till today 7th December 2010. IFB has cheated me. They got money from me and they did not repair the machine. Who will ask them question only God will punish them.     I have launched a complaint against this problem on 26 feb,but no body has attended the problem.my machine motor is not working.the complaint number is4169543.No higher authorities are responding to the phone calls.I want somebody to rectify my machine problem as early as possible.
    Service provided by J.B. Appliances ( Authorised Franchise of IFB Industries Ltd. ) in Kolkata is VERY POOR. Inspite of several calls and complaints registered they do not come and attend the jobs. Once I had to take help from National Consumer Helpline about IFB service. They informed IFB Head office and then this irresponsible Service centre people came to attend the job.
    They lack knowledge and cannot repair the parts and so the problem keeps occuring. The service centre person came and took the service charge but did not repair the pump of my washing machine. It is still not working and I have made several calls at their call centre but they have not attended my job till now.
    During shifting to my new residence the service centre person damaged the inlet pipe of my washing machine but I had to pay for a new inlet pipe. I was charged an amount of Rs 870 but the damage was done by IFB service centre staff.
    This type of SERVICE HARASSMENT from IFB service centre staff is really DISGUSTING !

    IFB Fully Automatic Front Loading Washing Machine — Pathetic Customer Service

    IFB Services are the most pathetic services seen so far. Their Service engineers are local mechanics who are illiterate and have no basic sense on how to handle a sophisticated gadget like a washing machine. If they come for repair they either do not repair it properly or make some other part of the machine like drum etc malfunction by leaving the screws loose.

    The complaints logged at the Service Centre are never attended to unless called for atleast 6-7 times. Overall extremely poor services.

    We have IFB fully automatic washing machine since 2001. Now a days, It gives us problems often.Now it delivers a noise during running time.

    IFB — Long delay in fixing minor problem in Washing machine

    Complaint for service registered on 12th or 13-May-11 complaint #6353201, (MCB of house tripping whenever Washing machine is switched on, no problem with house wiriing). 14-May-11, Service personel visited and said, motor and 2 PCBs have to be changed and belt to be replaced. 16-May-11. Another service person visited and took away 2 PCBs and Motor. No news. After calling on 20/21st, they said they will come on Monday 23rd. After many calls, passing the buck. At 5:30, they said, it is too late, will come on Tuesday. Tuesday also lot of buck passing and finally promised to come on Wed. Afternoon on 24-may I called the call center to complaint. They said first the complaint # 6365201 is not there and gave a new complaint number #6419343. When pressed, she acknowledged that the previous complaint was "closed". On wed morning, technician came with 2 PCBs but did not bring motor saying it was not given to him. Still waiting to know when it will be fixed. Last few days I have made innumereable calls to Bangalore service center office as well as the mobile numbers of various technicians assigned. Everyone was passing buck such as "I have not been told by office, I do not have parts, need to check with office", It is raining now, Many times, even after calling, the phone was not picked/switched off etc. Please also investigate why teh parts were taken away?

    IFB — Washing Machine not getting Serviced since last 3 months

    My top loading washing m/c is not working for the last 3 months now .
    It is presently under extended warranty - I had paid Rs 2382 for a 2 yr AMC. In spite of repeated compaints to service centre nothing has gotten done .

    A guy by name Mr Manjunath falsely gives assusrance that some engineer will come every other day . His supervisor Mr Kumar has been committing since last 2 weeks now to rectify but nothing is set right.

    Since there is no one to go to further I am considering legal recourse now whatever it may take.

    IFB — Terrible service/ an ineffectual maintenance contract

    The washing machine stopped working on 9th July. (It is only 20 months old and that itself was a suprise!) Called the service executive who had sold us the maintenance contract. He led us for a song and dance for 4 days, giving us a time slot and not turning up. Some of his excuses were as lame as 'it's raining'. He then stopped taking calls. Finally called the service centre. They came and took the machine away after three days! promising to deliver it teh next day. It is the 7th day now and every day on follow up I have been told that it is being tested or that transport is not available or that it will despatched early morning the next day. When I raised a stink about it today they say the part is out of stock and it will take another five days. So her I am with a practically new washing machine that is priced top of the range, a price that I stupidly paid for German technology that I thought would never let me down, with an equally expensive prepaid service maintenance contract, spending half my mrnings hand washing clothes. The only thing that even senior people can say is 'Sorry' - a word that they believe makes up for everything. The message is loud and clear. NEVER BUY AN IFB product ever again. And dissuad eanyone who is stupid enough to believe that the brand promise is credible

    IFB — Washing machine not working.

    I have been using IFB washing maching since the year 2000. Till now the effficiency of the customer care department was excellent. But recently I registered a complain with the call centre on 27th September. Till now the problem has not been solved. My machine is under AMC. My complaint no. is760468. I have been calling the call centre everyday. Everyday I am being given an assurance but nothing is being done about it. Please look into the matter.

    I bought IFB washing machine AW60-8062 Fully Automatic in Feb, 2011. I hardly used 2 month then we went on holiday, came back in June then we found machine nonfunctional. I registered my complained 26 June, 2011. But till date there no work done et all, machine is still nonfunctional. Cutomer care office said they changed contract working for them & told me that you have too complain again, I did (complained no.7251037). Now, almost 4 month gone but my machine still not repaired, think about the service of IFB customer care. His/her engineer even did find right probelm in machine, Ist he told that PCV not working they tried to change that but not working then his/her worker said I do not know the right problem so we want to bring your machine too service center BUT 4 days gone no body came to pick the machine even though we called everyday. What should be do? We are employees, having two kids we needed machine everyday BUT because of them (IFB customer) we paying Rs 1000/- every month for a person to do the job. Our schedule disturbed, we lost lot of money as well as valuable time. Now, we are planning too go against them in CONSUMER COURT.

    IFB WASHING MACHINE — MACHINE UNDER AMC AND STILL REPAIR NOT DONE , ITS BEEN 2 MONTHS FROM THE TIME OF INITIAL COMPLAINT

    INITIAL COMPLAINT WAS MADE NEARLY 2 MONTHS AGO AND TILL DATE THE REPAIR IN OUR WASHING MACHINE AS NOT BEEN RECTIFIED BY THE IFB. INSPITE OF HAVING AMC FOR THE MACHINE. PLEASE GUIDE US.

    IFB (Washing Machine) — Pathetic After sales service (AMC)

    On 5th of Dec 2011 a complaint was logged in with IFB customer service about the machine not working. IFB customer care registered a service request and gave us a service request number 7778495 and said that within 24 hours their service engineer will visit our home to inspect and rectify based on the terms of AMC with IFB.

    After two days since no one called or visited our house to service the machine we called back IFB customer care. The customer care executive took
    the service request number and said that their service engineers were very busy and hence they will depute one of their technical staff within 24 hours. But even on 8th Dec 2011 no one came. Finally after another reminder call to customer care on 9th Dec 2011 one technical staff Mr Pandi (Service partner) visited and inspected the machine. After inspecting he said there is no problem with the machine and only the suspension to the tub is weak and hence the machine had stopped working. He said he will take a request for replacement of the suspension and arrange for spares within 2 days ( rectify before 12th Dec). He asked us to continue using the machine. When the machine was switched on 10th December it started but stopped immediately with a loud bang. After which it did not work at all.

    Since the technical staff did not come on 12th we called up IFB customer care and reported. Even then there was response and hence we called Mr
    Pandi who said some senior technical staff will attend to us. The next day one person visited us and inspected the machine and said it was not the problem with the suspension but the TUB has to be replaced and he will order for it and it might take 2 days. Hence even on 15th nothing happened. No calls or service. Hence we called up the IFB service partners office. One Ms Rajeshwari said that she is making a commitment to get the spare (TUB) before 23rd Dec 2011 and she will call on 20th to reconfirm. Since she did not call we called her. When we called Ms Rajeshwari the service partner of IFB she said the spare TUB was not available in Chennai and she has to get it from GOA and hence she cannot help us. She said "if you want further clarity please speak to Ms. Chao on[protected]. When we called up Ms Chao she was not aware of any of this but said she will be able to resolve this matter by 26th Dec 2011. She refused to give any name or number of service manager of IFB to share my grievances.

    We seem to be going around in circles and the problem remains. Kindly advice what should be done?

    An ELITE SX wasing machine of IFB INUSTRIES was supplied and installed at my residence yesterday. The trial run for cleaning up--which was estimated to take two and a half hours(on temperature 95 degrees) got completed in one and a half hours.


    This morning I tried washing under 'Quick' setting expected to take 33 minutes. After coming to 2 minutes the machine juggled between 3 minutes and 2 minutes 12 times. I lost my patience and used 'pause' and turned the knob to initial position. Water from the clothes HAD NOT BEEN DRAINED.


    Either there is something wrong or they do not have enough technical expertise here in Chennai to explain things. I SUGGEST THEY GET AN EXPERT FROM THE FACTORY WITHOUT FURTHER LOSS OF TIME AND LOOK INTO THIS. The easier solution may be to take back the machine, reimburse me and not have me as a customer. That still will not take away the possible defect in design or in the product handed over.

    I had a very agonising experience with their ADMIRAL 7030 machines --two units--both not working as per specifications.

    I purchased IFB washing machine ELENA VX on[protected] within one month machine was under repair problem of automatic section of hot water means boiling water
    Selection with this problem my clothes were damaged a lot that time I told service people to replacement of the machine, they said its small problem next time if its under repair then we replace it.

    After 9 months again machine is under repair now timer problem with this programing will not work. I told service people to replace it, But they told me to talk with
    Mr. Nagasai inchange when I told him about the problem, His way of speaking with the customer is not good. And he as given me an idea that you could have exchanged the machine last time it itself, But now it's not possible for a replacement.

    Someone needs to get the top management of this company aware of how shoddily their people work.
    I would request the authorities to kindly look into the matter and get my washing machine replaced as soon as possible.
    Don't force me to go to consumer court.

    IFB is well known for poor service. They also cheat by having spares like motors rewound at local dealers and the drums welded at local repair shops/garages. these are the replacement spares that are provided thus cheating on taxes to the government .This is the process at mumbai .Also spares are being taken from buy back machines and used for spares replacement

      out let of water not working

      I have purchased ifb washing machine it was side door, after washing the cloths water was not coming out, all washed water was stay inside the drum . we are informed and called so many times to consult person of IFB service men it was giving the number by the shop owner.he was not yet come .plse give me service center no. or send the service men to my house . give a phone no. of service man....

      This machine was brought from the dealer M/s Kundan Electronics yelahanka bangalore 64, on 28th jan 08 thie said problem occured during 26.07.08. reported the same to the compilant centre bangalore . The service engineer Mr. Mahdeva ( mobile No. [protected]) visited and said it can be replaced and demended money for the visit, and further replacement. though the machine was under warrenty and only six months old, this was brought to the incharge Mr. Harishi mobile No. [protected] & [protected] and he decline to comment and further it was said thet they will attend the compliant but till 22nd sep 08 no action was taken. Even the dealer from where the machine was purchsed also spoken the service centre many times but no use. sudedenly i found an SMS on my mobile asking for feedback stating that your compliant was resolved. What an wonderful idea. Compliant No. 2007429, motor sl.no.001433. This is an act of arogant adament, that is the service they offer to thier customeres. The authorities concerned may look into this and render needful action to get the defecive parts replaced and to console the service engineers.

          I had purchased an IFB DIGITAL EX from VIVEKS Limited on 01/01/06. Since then I had been having many problems with the machine. The display used to show errors E06. The technician said the problem was due to clogging, but there was no clogging but he cleaned the PCB.

          On 28th Dec 2007, we lodged a complaint regarding malfunction due to the E06/04 errors. The technician found the stone holding the drum was cracked. It took about 15 days to get this replaced.

          On 29th May 2008, the same problem occured. The technician took 15 days to visit, removed the PCB and it started working againg.

          These issues prove that the machine had problems right from installation.

          Most recently, I had registered a complaint on 08/09/08 - complaint no.2159893 on the same problem. After repeated calls the complaint is still to be attended. Also, every time I call to follow up my complaint, I am asked to explain my complaint to every other person who attends the call.

          Now that the warranty is over, the company is forcing us to enter into 2 year AMC. I am not agreeable to this proposal since the same problem was intermittant even during warranty.

          The explanation from IFB personnel that the PCB failure is due to voltage fluctuation is not correct since I have more sensitive and expensive electronic goods in our house which have not given any failure.

          Now, I am physically and mentally exhausted all because of the problems created by my IFB washing machine. And I must mention that I had been using IFB washing machine since 1992. I exchanged my IFB machine only to upgrade myself with the latest machine. But I am terribly disappointed with this machine as well as your service. I strongly feel the machine is a faulty one which was delivered to me as a new machine.

          I don't want any further service of this machine but a replacement of the machine is the only solution for all the agony that I have gone thru the past 2 years. My next course of action would be to approach the leading national dailies and the Consumer Court of India.

            We are holders of IFB Washing machine Model SUPREMO DELUXE with Sr. No.WTSUPDX B 25327.
            This machine is under AMC which is valid till 22/06/2009. Upon lodging the complaint for the complaint " Spin Function as well as leakage in the drain pipe line" on 05/08/2008, service personnel had made visit i.e on 06/08/2008 ( Pump was replaced by an old pump). Same problem has occurred again on 01/09/2008.Complaint was lodged through the phone. Complaint No. 2129087. Nobody reported. Again the complaint was lodged on 05/09/2008 withe reference no.2152643. Person attended and in the report, we had mentioned that the machine needs observation. After two days the machine has started giving the same problem. Complaint has been lodged on 17/09/2008 ( Ref. No. 2152643 )for which no response from the local service personnel. This kind of customer service is not expected from the organisation practicing the ISO[protected] Systems.

            BEWARE OF IFB PRODUCTS AND THINK TEN TIMES BEFORE PURCHASING.COMPANY HAS BAD SERVICE PERSONNEL WHO ARE ARROGANT. WE ARE FACING PROBEMS AT HYDERABAD. AMCs ARE EYE WASH AS SERVICE PEOPLE SHY AWAY WHEN A SITUATION OCCURS WHICH NEEDS MORE ATTENTION AND REPLACEMENT OF PARTS.IT SEEMS THERE IS NO MONITORING MECHANISM TO TRACK THE CALLS.

            I too have same experience. They have outsourced Service Center to some M S Associates. The M S
            Associates have unskilled, untrained engineers who are expert in damaging the washing machine. Sameer is an engineer from M S Associates more than 8 compliants in 3 years (You see 8 compliants
            in 3 years), Changed Drum, Bearings etc. Minted money from me (every visit bill is more than Rs. 1000/-). You escalate to IFB, no use. IFB belives in:

            "Customer is GOD till product is sold. Once product is sold, Customer is DOG who will chase IFB".

            I am planning to give up my IFB machine and buy new machine from other company. Any suggesion?

                Two months back I bought a IFB microwave oven with convection facility (30SC2) from House Full, Nashik and it worked only for a month. I called the number given by housefull and a guy from IFB visited on the same day. He said it requires a part and it would get repaired within a day or two. I waited for ten days nothing happened. Later I called the IFB call center and they gave me a complaint number[protected] and they said it would get repared within 48 hours (now I realised they were joking !!). Nothing happened.. I called them again.. they said same day evening it would get repaired... nothing happened.. i called them again ..same story... Today I got a mobile number from the call center to escalate ([protected]). I called the number and the person who answered the phone said within one hour a technician would visit my place!!! I do not know whether my IFB microwave oven would get repaired or need to use it as a cupboard to store my old stuffs!! They gave me 12 months warrantee.. We used it only for a month and the second month it was not working.. will they extend the warranty period??

                IFB Microwave Model 30SC2 — Poor Service

                Dear Sir

                I have purchased IFB Microwave Model- 30SC2 on 09 Nov 2008 and the same was delivered to me on 10 Nov 2008 vide Invoice NO DEL/NTS/3098/08-09 from Okhla Industrial Area.

                On Delivery I was not given recipe book. After repeated complaints to Customer care as well as dealer no action was initiated. Now it is very difficult for me to decide whom to approach as no one takes responsibility.

                Please suggest me whom to contact as I have already paid full amount.

                IFB MICROWAVE — Poor Service / Management

                Recently I have purchased IFB Microwave. Dealer made a request for its installation and demonstration. It is more than 2 Weeks now it has not yet been installed. I have personally lodged my complaints several times on their centralised call centre, but nothing fruitful. Since, IFB have franchised after sales services to third party, it is very diffcult to get after sales service done proper and in time. IFB Management is also not bothered to look into the service area where their franchise partner are able to deliver proper after sales service in time to their consumers or not. If it will be like this then nobody can stop in becoming IFB a HISTORY.

                Microwave oven model 30SC2 — Replacement unit when under warrenty

                sir,

                The greatest mistake I have made by purchasing a product of internationally acclaimed DEAF company called IFB.

                The microwave oven Model No. 30 SC2 (Sl. No. [protected]) was purchased on 19th July 2008. In a weeks time it was observed that the top cover is rusted at the corner. Subsequently, the 1st complaint (Sl. No. 2029959) was lodged on 01 August 2008 for the same defect. The service engineer has checked the machine. Later after a week I was been told by Mr. Jain that the cover will be replaced after receipt of the same from company.

                Within next 15 days, it was observed that the rotation of the spin table was uneven. I then contacted the service center (Lucky Services) and I was been told that the 2nd complaint has been added in the existing complaint. Since then the machine became the art piece kept in the show case. Again the engineer had visited and inspected the machine. Upon inquiring the status of the complaint I was told by Mr. Jain that the machine will be replaced.

                Since I have made frequent calls and every time heard the same story of Machine has not received yet. In the month of March 09 the engineer had visited after a routine call by me to replace the motor. The motor he brought was not sealed. The embossed year of manufacture of the motor was 2005. Even the guarantee label was tampered. Any one can make out the motor was repaired. Replacement of the same motor was denied by me. In the month of Jun 09 upon contacted, the Lucky services has told that he is no more the authorized service center for IFB.

                Is this what the SERVICE customer should expect from an International company????? My Guarantee/Warranty period will be ending on 18th of July 2009.

                DO I EXPECT ANY ACTION ??????? or do I take the path of consumer court. kindly suggest at the earliest as the warranty period is ending on 18 July 09.

                I heard IFB service is good so buy 30SC2 product and used only 2 times and something wrong with it.
                First Month Service Engineer asking money to repair after that call to Service Manager .. he said we will make product working but no actual work started by them
                Company is in bad phase it seems because to get one part takes 7-8 months...

                If product is defective no replacement and no repair... If someone know IFB Owner or Corporate Office Address post it.. I am ready to send thier box to them at my own expense

                AFTER REPEATED COMPLAINS FROM THE LAST 02 MONTHS EVERYBODY RIGHT FROM AREA MANAGER TO TECHNICIAN JUST BYPASSING GIVING LAME EXCUSES. NOBODY HAVING COURTESY TO RING BACK TO THE CONSUMER. FED UP WITH THE SERVICE. REALLY HORRIBLE.
                No body buy any IFB products. Very-2-2-2 poor service. Nobody attend your complaint. IFB harrassing me from past 20 days. So I request all nobody buy IFB products. IFB COMPANY VERY BAD. COUSTOMER CARE of IFB, Branch manger of IFB, Chandigarh, PRO of IFB nobody attend any complaint.

                  I bought Executive Plus machine #122378 in Lucknow on May 24, 2006. Until March 2008, they promptly attended to complaints. I have no problem with the machine, which I am maintaining as per manual and service instructions. It is in excellent condition. They came in May trying to sell their AMC at a prohibitive rate, which I could not afford. I would be better off with a general insurance for machine breakdown that paying such prohibitive rates to IFB contractees. However, I requested their visiting engineer to deliver me four packets of Descal. Having failed to deliver despite reminders for two months, I asked their senior engineer to deliver as I was unable to get through to their call center. After he too failed to deliver, I managed to get through their call center about a fortnight back and booked an order #45917 for just two packets of Descal and informing them of my predicament with the engineers. That too has not helped. Today, I complained online via their feedback and have also booked online the same Descal with FABO. Again, earlier Ariel Ultramatic was the recommended detergent. Last year, Ariel discontinued Ultramatic and came out with Funomatic the soapy smell of which does not leave the clothes and does not seem to have any enzymes worth the name in it. These guys then recommended Heinkomatic, which is no better. Both, Funomatic and Heinkomatic that cost Rs. 150/kg, sticks in the detergent tray. With no proper detergent available in the market for front loading washing machines, I would not advise anybody to purchase a front loading washing machine at this time.

                    I ' ve purchased WM- Elite 5 Kg washing machine (fully automised) from the subject company on 28/06/08 under exchange offer for Rs. 18, 500/-at Coimbatore. From the date of demo, the programme/ timer is not functioning properly and as a result the machine is not compleating its cycle in full and will go off automatically. In spite my repeated complaints to the company, the officials of the company visited and accepted the fault and not providing any solution including replacement of machine. As such I am not in a position to operate the machine with my full satisfaction . Now the officials are not responding my calls and i am put in trouble .

                      my 5months old washing machine needs repair, after contacting the service centre on the 23rd of december I'm still waiting for a person to attend to my complaint.How much more time is it likely to take.I'm staying in a place called Nabha in Punjab, which is 23km away from Patiala.SAI ELECTRO SERVICE, G-58, OPP GURUDWARA GOBIND NAGAR 'MODEL TOWN, PATIALA-147001, are suppose to attend to my problem and for the last 14 days I am waiting for their technician to come. If I knew that buying an IFBmachine would turn out to be a pain in my neck, i would have spent my Rs.23200/ on some other machine and would have got a better service from some other company.I had put a complaint with IFB CARE also and was given a ticket no.256729.just want to know that how much more time will IFB people take to attend to my complaint??I AM ACTUALLY STARTING TO BELIEVE THAT I MADE A MISTAKE BY BUYING AN IFB WASHING MACHINE!!!
                      The complain given was not attended at the given time. I am totally fed up your service.
                      post sales service is not upto the mark in punjab.engineers posted also donot seem to be fully trained as they are no able to rectify defects.custmercare although is polite but other officer donot bother to pick up the phones although numbers are iven by custmercare only. my machine bought from chadigarh is under warranty still but has defects not getting corrected despite reminders.

                        My washing machine is not in working condition since 14th august. 1st we were told the motor needs to be replaced which took more than a week. then again it stopped working and till date it has not been repaired. pathetic service from IFB.

                        On a very bad situation, I am writing this mail. I had purchased IFB washing machine on 22-March-2009 and it has been delivered on 23-March-2009.
                        On 24-March-2009, morning, I got a call from IFB guy ([protected], don’t know the name) that he is planning to come home for installation. Then, I ordered IFB Stand with wheeler and Washing machine cover. In the after noon, the guy came to my home for installation and demo with empty hands. Due to power cut, the machine was not able to run. He waited for 15Min’s and left. Let me describe him, he was listing music, little talk with us and explanting the details, if we ask our self. Finally he left after 15Mins and he said that he will be back next day morning with Stand & Cover. From that day onwards, when I call him, he simply say will come in another 3 hours, afternoon, evening before 5PM, then finally says tomorrow. This conversation going until[protected] afternoon 4PM, and then when I tried to cal him from my mobile, he is picking the call. Then I made a call to customer care and informed the same with Thilagam. She has given Manager Velu’s numbers like [protected]/28530796 which are not working at all (I informed the same to customer care the same day, but not yet updated the numbers till now ). Then immediately I again called customer care and lodge a complaint 2862000 and I got another another contact number 30585162, name is Mariyam. And got the confirmation that they are going to take high priority and will resolve the issue by EOD (i.e on 26th itself). I tried nearly 5 times to that Mariyam’s number for 2 days, but strangely, no body is picking the call, even now also. From that day onwards, I am calling to customer care and they are telling will resolve the issue, some body (different people, different numbers) will call me and telling that will come tomorrow. 4 tomorrows were already left from 26th. And today, again I got a cal from Robert ([protected]) and said the same thing will come tomorrow. I don’t know why the persons are taking this much amount of time to resolve the ticket. As usual, today I made cal to customer care and informed the same, as usual they are telling that will take the higher priority and will resolve the issue. And I got one higher manager’s number named Srinivasan – [protected]… I called him, but due to his busy schedule, he didn’t pick the call and after 5 mins, I got a message a from Srinivasan that he will cal me later. So, I sent a message to him briefly about issue with ticket number.

                        I really fed-up with IFB Service. If IFB is talking 10 for installation, I don’t think I wont get the 2 years warranty service with proper manner. And I was trying to get the e-mail id of IFB service, straggly, IFB doen’t have any web-site or mail id for proper communication.

                        Really, I am thinking about my wrong step of purchasing IFB Washing machine… I am planning pass the same information to all of my friends and aware them about the IFB services.

                        This is with regards to the purchase of the IFB washing machine on 17/03/04 ,reference no.BBY/WM/1210.

                        Since the purchase of this machine till to date, we have spent approximately Rs.26,000/- just for repairing ,replacing spare parts and contracts.

                        We also had an AMC contract from 23/9/2009 to 22/9/2011 for the same washing machine but the company does not keep track of the customer service contracts. In my absence my mother in law who is a senior citizen was asked to enter another AMC that is from 06/11/10 to 05/11/12!!

                        Now, my IFB washing machine is not functioning since thursday I.e.Jan 13' 2011. We lodged a complain on Friday morning , January 14,2011 . No
                        engineer/ service person has come. I have called the service centre 5 to 6 times but no avail. I was asked to speak to a certain Mr. Adnan from Lucky Services but to my utter shock not only was he extremely rude to me. But was also ok with the idea that I do not buy any IFB appliances in the future!
                        We also tried to get in touch with a senior IFB exec but was unreachable or did not answer our calls.

                        I am in dismay with the way consumers are treated in our country, by your company representatives.We request some urgent senior intervention into this matter , we need this machine to be attended at the earliest and also our double AMC charges paid refunded.

                        I am sijukrishnan from muvattupuzha,kerala.I registered a complaint regarding my ifb elena washing machine and the complaint number is 8038309 on 10.1.12.Nobody attended the complaint till 17.1.11.The complaint was attended by the ifb customer service unit at muvattupuzha run by Mr.SANAL(Mob. no.[protected]).At first he was not ready to give onsite support.After repeated request in customer service centre ,he came to my home with an old drum in his hand for replacing the existing one.The covers of the drum were not with him and he was claiming that the drum is new but it was actually covered with soap powder and rust in some place.So i called customer care again and they gave the number of Mr.Bastin([protected]) but he was supporting Mr.Sanal.I asked him why the covers of the droms were removed earlier but he has no answer.He was even not ready to inspect the drum and instead he wea simply supporting Mr.Sanal....I can simply get it corrected in a local shop for Rs.2000 ,but i preffered genuine parts from IFB....But due to thus very poor customer support,i will never buy or recommend any IFB product in furure.

                          I had purchased a IFB fully automatic machine 18 months ago. during its warranty period pcb, electronic ciruit became faulty and was replaced. Now once again both PCBs in the machine are faulty and machine has stopped working. The service people told it will cost Rs8000/- to put the new PCBs. They also told it was a common complaint with all IFB fully automatic machines.
                          A machine costing around Rs25000/- is very poor in performance.
                          As this is company fault the machine should be repaired free of cost with good quality spares at no cost to the customer. The only remedy seems to be knock legal / consumer grivance doors.

                            The IFB servicing is very very bad. After so many calls some persons attends and will spoils the machine completely.

                            I have bought a dishwasher IFB-Neptune, a month back.Suprisingly its not the machine that is giving problems, it is the service centres here in gurgaon who refuse to supply the required detergent S and salts.Its been 3 weeks, they either keep saying, we will call you back regarding this, or, nobody to deliver it, or, tomorrow it will reach you, or its out of stock.I have called the different telephone nos. given to me, of the centers in gurgaon, bangalore.Asked for numbers of seniors, their nos.proved to be unreachable.Mr.Inderpal's no. is out of service, Mr. Bhuvaan Joshi's no., there is no answer, as he is on sick leave and nobody is left to take charge in his place.
                            For your appliance, performance of which i have been giving lot of positive feedback, sorry to say has left a very bitter experience regarding the availability of detergents/salts.
                            Few minutes back, the detergent and salt has reached me after lot of harrasment and time.Upon being asked about the reason for the delay, I was told that they concentrate more on repair services and not on delivering these products.That is truly an insight to how things work after we buy an appliance for which the said products are not available off the shelf.We depend on you to deliver it to us.I maybe just a homemaker, but i wanted to bring to notice this experience, so that we as customers can see a more smoother working of things, and a lot more to be desired from the service centres around us.And also nobody who after buying IFB appliances have to suffer the way i have had to.Thank you.

Dryer function is not working in new brand machine.

                            IFB WASHING MACHINE — Poor,non existent service

                            My washing machine under AMC got weird sound on 8th jan. 09 I lodged a complaint.Inspite of repeated complaints, tel. calls nothing happened for 2 months.I got in touch with vendor(Pankanj electronics), who were helpful.IFB called to inquire and when we told our problem stilll nothing happened.Finally after calling vendor again, I got the no. of Manager whom I called and then finally it was repaired about 10 days back (almost 3 months after i lodged 1st complaint). It worked fine for about a week and then it started leaking water, I lodged another complaint on 30/3/09 but so far nobody has bothered to call or visit.It is lying unused!
                            IFB is the worst company I have ever used a product of, not only are they negligent in their post sales service but are incompetent and rude.

                            I will never advise anyone to buy any product of IFB

                            I have bought a dishwasher IFB-Zephyr EX which was installed after four months of purchase that too after threatening to take the company to consumer court.The service centres have executives who do not have a clue on how to address the customers problems. They keep saying they are sorry and will get back to us with a solution but never do so. The detergent and softeners are never supplied on time (average waiting time is three weeks to one month) None of their senior executives are ever available on phone and e mails are not responded to

                            I have registered a request for detergent supply two wweeks back and after calling up five dofferent people and wasting a lot of time and energy it has still not reached me.

                            I am taking the company to consumer court and would like to request fellow consumer friends who have been harrassed similarly to follow the same. If all o[censored]s join hands we an force the company to either provide quality services or close its office

                            I completely agree that after sale service and also the quality of products of IFB are very very very poor. They genuinely think that with good advt./ publicity with stars etc. they can easily befool the indian customers and not without giving good quality and service. I bought a fully automatic washing machine (6563) but after only 7-8 months, it started giving tourble terribly and it is almost 4 months and after registering so many complaints (Nos. 4974473 Dt. 21st August, 4937210 Dt. 14th August, 4769571 Dt. 11th July and 4574166 Dt. 30th May 2010), the fault could not be rectified till date. Not to speak of concerned persons at authorised service centre, also, there is absolutely no use to talk to the executive of the company (Ms. Anikta, Ph: [protected]).

                            donot make the mistake of purchasing IFB gadgets . Equipments are good but service is non-existent. Moreover, they appoint crooks as service centres who spil the machines .

                                Hi,
                                Its only two years since I brought this washing machine IFB Senator, and it stopped working all of a sudden. The service guy (his name is Mirza) took like 2.5 weeks to respond and 3 weeks to actually start working on repair. He just turned it on and said microcontroller needs to be replaced and descaling done, which took 2800 Rs, still other features are not working like before. I logged a call again, the guy came after another 1 week, and says all crap like this button and that button, finally he concluded that the Microcontroller may be the faulty one. Currently the company doesn't have microcontroller and it will take another 2-3 days to procure one. This has just lead to frustration. Already the cost of this machine is like 24K then additional if 2-3 K if one has to pay for faulty and lesser life processors then thats bad, as customers are paying for company's faulty equipments, Services persons, and untimely services.
                                Still this call has not resolved and I'm repenting for buying this m/c as the wash quality is also not good and cost effective.

                                Washing Machine — untimely service

                                I had bought samsung washing machine in June 2008. First of all i had to wait for about a month for it getting installed. No one from service center turned up even after so many follow up. Secondly the model I bought seems to be defected because as not even 2 weeks had passed it stopped working due to door unit going out of order. I had to follop up for almost a month for this to be sorted out. And now again there seems to be problem again and no one has turned up after registering complaint. sometimes i feel like throwing this machine and regret for not buying LG. Atleast their service is better than samsung's.

                                IFB Senator Washing Machine — Non working of Machines

                                My IFB Senator washing machine is not working for two months. These service people are very first when your AMC is due. Some Mr. Rajinder who came to our house for the AMC, whom i contacted first for the rectification of the machine. then he sent some one to check the machine but nothing was done. Afterwards i officially lodged the complian on 2nd November, 2011. My complain no. is 7542414. But after that no body has attented the machine. Two times i visited the local office at Okhla. But no results. Now i am cleaning my clothes of my own. I am a by pass surgey done heart patient. Whom shoula i go for complaint to the next step. I send a mail to the chairman of the company also.

                                  hi,
                                  i purchased a new 30lit microwave from main distributerof ifb pune warehouse sing ware housing complex gat no 2347/1/b/3 nagar-road wagholi pune 412207, on 10-2007 model no 30sc2 ifb-2507/08/16485
                                  it was works good -but in jully it was not displalyed any curren on panel board so ew called to castemer care, from there we got a add-as service deler nane M0dern services sagar plazaa kasarwadi pune 411034. cont no 64107403.
                                  after 3 days technisian comes he said that there is problem in fuse ok he connected new fuse & it strart working after few min it again dead so he desided that to connect heavy fuse so he connected that fuse it again strted but this time after some time heavey smoke comes through microwave .
                                  he told us one unit in that is burnt which can not available with them it requires 10 days we agreed
                                  after 13day we again call then he cames to us fix any unit but not succsed he repers 2-3 times but failed then he come with an engginear after we r in aggrasive mood but they also not in possition to repaired it i think both r untreaned
                                  we also talk with branch mnr mr. datta mob no [protected] he again send same fellows but it not working
                                  mr. datta now not accepted our phone instument stiil dead condition

                                    Dear Sir/Madam,

                                    Complaint Number 2136593. After three days of making this complaint, one fellow
                                    lands up at night 10 clock. He was not even ready to listen to our complaint.
                                    He says without even testing there is no problem with your machine. Actually our machines once it starts filling water, it keeps filling and start over flowing. Its dial does not move at all.

                                    I would have made atleast, 8 times to the call centre and they are telling they will send senior person. I warn IFB that I will be forced go to consumer court if they dont attend our machine after paying AMC money.

                                      Dear Sir/Madam,
                                      We have purchased IFB washing machine Elite Model from RK Electronics, Chandanagar, Hyderabad-19. on 06.06.2008. It started troubling from 07.09.08. We have made the complaint to Customer care on the same day. Sofar nobody attended the complaint. We are getting foul smell from the machine due to draining problem. Children are in the huose. This smell may cause any illness to haelth of the children.
                                      We want some one to attend the problem.
