Dear Sir,

Serious Complaint on IFB Washing Machine

I would like to lodge a complaint with the following facts:

1. I had purchased the IFB fully automatic washing machine T2900DX from Spencer Plaza, 769, Anna Salai, Chennai 600 002, vide their invoice No. 4975 dated 10th February 1995.

2. The washing machine was working satisfactorily for so many years since its purchase and had never given me any major problem.

3. On the advice of IFB service engineers from time to time, I entered into an annual maintenance contract (hereinafter called AMC) with IFB, contract AMC No 001898 dated 16th June 2004 for a period of one year upto 15th June 2005.

4. After entering into the AMC in June 2004, there have been not less than fifteen or more complaints with machine not working in one way or the other. During this period from June 2004 till date, every time an engineer would come and inspect the machine and advice replacing a part. This has resulted in replacing the drum, motor, valve and other major parts. I have today only the washing machine outer cover remaining with literally all original parts of the machine replaced by defective and sub standard parts.

5. Since 2004, the IFB machine was been literally rendered hopeless for any operation by the so called service engineers, who to my surprise, include even some little boys whose age may be only around 12 or 15. Some of these boys who lacked the basic training even have damaged the rubber lining of the drum with a hole, while attempting to fix the rubber with the outer case. All the original parts have been replaced and none of the parts seem to work well and the machine shows its inefficiency after a couple of days of its rendering the service.

6. I have therefore made up my mind to lodge this complaint and would appreciate a compensation for the machine which was working so well for so many years till 2004. I only hope in this country there are some good consumer caring agencies like your esteemed organsiation who can come to our rescue. I have so far been managing with the machine for the past 4 years.

7. My last complaint a couple of weeks ago was that the IFB machine was leaking and there was water all round the place. No one ever seemed to answer my call, inspite of my religious calls (almost 5 calls a day), when I had to literally shout for them to act. Even after this there was no communication or updates on the spare parts and all of a sudden they show up today the 3rd June 2008 to again look at the machine. I am tired of these service engineers and have therefore decided to call it a day with IFB.

8. MY HUMBLE AND SINCERE REQUEST TO CONSUMERS AT LARGE IS NEVER EVER THINK OF BUYING A IFB WASHING MACHINE IN YOUR LIFE..YOU WILL BE RUINED

9. IFB service team and the managers running the show are totally indifferent to any complaint lodged and the standard reply is that there are no spares.

10. If IFB cannot maintain spares in their stores, why then they are entering into any AMC contract with the customer? I have never heard of IFB coming up readily with any spare and the standard reply is the spare is out of stock.

11. I sincerely feel that IFB should close down their shop immediately and I would request your forwarding this mail to the concerned authorities. I am sure many customers are suffering like this wondering what to do.

12. Please do let me know if I can take this up with any other higher authorities for immediate resolution, if you are not able to handle it for any reason.

they are not selling new spares . The service centers purchasing the old washing machines and using their spares for the washing machines under AMC .The AMC agreement also written like that only .They say that working spare will be provided and not the new one .
The SERVICE of IFB is horrible, ridiculous, etc.etc. my COMPLAIN MADE ON 28TH OCT 2010 is NOT YET(16TH DEC 2010) been ATTENDED. I would request everyone NOT TO BUY ANY IFB PRODUCT because of its poorest service. Complaints made to them FALL ON DEAF EARS. Technicians are trained only to make promises. I would like to register my anguish and despair at the way Service Request are handled by your company

We have been using IFB washing Machine Executive Plus since 2006 and thee have been no major problems I must say

Our ordeal started when we tried to get a call registered for first time for this machine

1. Call Center System is mostly down they are not able to register complaint most of the time, they direct us to technical staff.
2. Technical staff's only intention is to replace the parts at hefty price without bothering to resolving the issue permanently.
3. Call center gave the numbers of Mr Ravinder (Engineer) and Supervisor (Deepika) but of no use
4. Even 2 weeks after registering the complaint getting my Drum and bearing changed my Machine is still not working
5. I have another IFB front loading washing machine at my home in Rohtak Haryana which we are using for 12 years without any such problems like replacing drums bearing etc.

Need your Intervention to resolve this issue and ask your engineers to do their duty properly

    amc contract serivce person not coming

    please be kind enough to note that we have been using the ifb washing machine since last many years and even taken amc contract with the company.

    please note we have been contacting compnay's customer service since last 15 days and they have been telling us every day that some one will come to visit you before 8.30 in the evening but till today no one has visited us to solve our problem.

    I got a Microwave model number 17 PM MEC1 as an annual gift from my company delivered to my native place at Rohtak, Haryana on 29-April-2008. It was working just fine for 1 week then due to voltage fluctuation it got it fuse tripped. I called up the service station on 5- may-2008. One person Randheer who said he was a qualified IFB professional came to my house and instead of replacing bad fuse with new one he connected both ends of fuse through wire (a work around). After which he plugged on the device again. But to my horror this time it started smoking with strange burning noise also. He left my place saying it was just because of some faulty diode which he will replace. Since then 20 days has passed. We call him regularly but he neither comes nor gives us any concrete reason for the fault.

    i have purchased IFB microwave latest convection model, but to my shock it is not registered in IBM site, i doubt on the authenticity of the product.

    Problem : No Heating
    Initially a service engineer attended the complaint but could'ny repair it. Suspected Magnetron, changed the item after 07 days, still problem not solved, after taht suspect transformer... this way every other component they suspected at last I have to arry the product to the service Centre. After all most 02 Months they still could'nt repair the item. Now their are not responding to my calls. I have tried to contact higher authorities of IFB but their response was negative. Tired of all this things I awant to put up case in consumer court, kindly register the complaint and please guide further

      I have purchased an IFB top loader washing machine on 11th May 2008 model no. (AW60-9021) and since then I am regretting my decision. I was informed by the dealer to contact IFB customer service for a demo which I did but after delay of some days finally an executive along with his assistance arrived at my home at about 8:30 PM at night and was already in hurry. He refused to attend to out request of shifting the direction of the drain pipe of which I had confirmation from the IFB sales team that it could be done. Moreover, the most shocking thing that happened was that he took away (stole) one the inlet hose pipe along with him without informing. I raised a formal complaint with the Delhi IFB customer service office.

      I spoke with Mr. Aggarwaal (Ph:[protected] who at first was reluctant to agree that this act has been done and said that if customer gets some additional accessories by mistake we take it back. When I asked him even if that was the case shouldn't the customer be informed they are taking an accessory away as it has been sent by mistake, I was of the idea that such unprofessional standards were not being maintained by at least IFB but my expectation of the so called customer service from IFB has miserably failed that IFB executive wait to sneak out things when the customer is not watching. Moreover, when I said that on the catalogue 2 inlet hose pipes are supposed to be with the whole pack he was reluctant in agreeing to the fact. Later he accepted and said it might be a misunderstanding which I again failed to understand as IFB executives should well enough be informed about the washing machine plus should also inform the customer of any additional accessory that might come with the pack although that was not the case. I was told that an advisor will be sent to my place the next day. Just when I thought that my extremely poor experience with IFB is on verge of ending I was proved wrong. I didn't receive any call hence in distress called the call centre (Ph:[protected] and made a complaint I spoke to honey who raised my complaint efficiently and gave me the telephone number of the branch manager Amit Anand but this was just starting of further horrible experience that I was made to go through.

      I called Amit Anand (Ph:[protected] and explained him what I have been put through as my first experience with IFB. On listening to my complaint said that he would call me within an hour in response to my complaint as he was in a meeting. The whole day passed and I didn’t receive any call from him. I hope this is isn't the type of customer commitment that you want to portray to your customers. I was really upset, distressed & regretting on my decision of purchasing an IFB product. I wasted my time and my money on calling everywhere to get the issue resolved. I called Amit again he started blaming me on the fact how can our advisor take away the pipe, it must have been a misunderstanding I was shocked at his statement as he was the branch manager and should know how to deal with a customer who had already been poorly serviced by such reputed company which stands for its excellence delivery to its customers. I also told him when he arrived he didn’t bring any pipe with him but when he left he took the pipe with him as my parent were not sure that we didn’t receive any additional accessories. Certainly it is the duty of the executive to let his customers know if any such thing has been sent.


      I failed to understand one thing when a customer shells out money from his pocket to buy a product, if he doesn’t receive good after sales service he has right to report this and to raise his voice moreover, an IFB executive picking away machine accessories along with him without any reason and without even informing the customer should be taken seriously. The executive was rude to my family members refused to execute what he came for; this should be taken seriously as I believe you as company are aware what role a satisfied customer play in putting a good word for the company. Which I am sure I won’t be doing if I don’t receive any response on this message as well. Anyways after some argument he agreed he will send someone with the hose pipe and to get the drain hose side changed and just when I though that he being a branch manager would be true on his word….you can now well imagine what would have happened. I was again made to wait for 3 days and took me to call them again to remind that I haven’t received even a call to confirm executive visit as no one turned up on confirmed day of visit. What’s more painful is that I took leave for that day and was waiting for someone to arrive and fix the problem. Even after my repeated calls to Amit Anand, who doesn’t at all look in control of his team, no action has been taken till date and I am writing this letter as an extremely distressed & annoyed customer. I would also like to add that I was planning to purchase other home appliances from IFB but for after seeing such rubbish customer service am not in a mood to but any appliance from IFB unless I get an immediate response and some help from IFB. I have purchased this washing machine on 11th May and since then haven’t used it at even once.

      Hi Eshan,

      I was planning to get the same IFB machine (AW60-9021) and I had almost finialised on it. One of my friend had a similar post sales problem with one of the machines he brought from IFB. I thought that it might happen once in a while, but it seems that it is a common practice with the IFB guys. I guess, I will have to rethink my decision to get the machine.

      I don't need to imagine how painful it has been for you. Alas, this is how things operate in India. You can never imagine these kind of situations in countries like US/UK. But why am I comparing India with US/UK? Do I mean to say, this the best we can expect? Certainly not.

      When we spend our hard-earned money to buy something for your family, you expect peace of mind. But these companies, they just don't bother to that!

      I can understand you must have even thought about banging the washing machine on the general manager of IFB's head and said, sorry!

      Whenever I hear these type incidents, I just feel like slapping the government, the government that takes bulk of our hard-earned money as tax every year and doesn't even bother to make stringent rules to prevent these type of situations. How easy would it have been, had the government passed a rule to make consumer rights stronger! Consumer rights? Does it even exist in India??? everybody man...

        03/05/08 - 04.00pm - Informed by self. IFB told, they will send the person
        positively.

          All,

          I bought IFB machine one year back from Delhi and since then I have been complaining to Customer call center for Noise, Banging and Rattling sounds from the machine.

          The machine was in One year default Warranty period and no one attended it, thereby the one year default period expired. As a precaution I had also taken a extended warranty for next 2 years for proper service but that is of no use because no one from the Repair center or Delhi-Okhla office responds to the issues/problem raised by the consumers.

          The history starts from the every beginning itself, the complaint numbers can be traced.

          I am listing some of the incidents below:

          Oct/Nov-07 - During one year default warranty period (before Diwali):
          I called N number of times to the Call center team but no one from the Repair center contacted us.
          One time a mechanic came noticed & went back saying that he will come with Spare parts but no one turned up later.
          3-Jan (#[protected] Complaint raised - no visit, no solution provided.
          21-Jan(#[protected] Complaint raised - mechanic visits, does some changes for testing, there is no relief, no permanent solution given.
          15-Feb(#[protected] Complaint raised - no visit, no solution given.
          16-Feb(as above) - spoke to Bhuvan Joshi (Manager repair center), Sachin Taneja (Site Incharge), they promise to take action, strangely no action taken.
          22-Feb(#[protected] spoke to Bhuvan Joshi (Manager repair center), Sachin Taneja (Site Incharge).
          They send mechanic and take the machine to repair center for 2 weeks, the machine comes back with same issue still open.
          Mar'08- - As agreed with Site incharge & Manager repair center : Talking directly with both of them for N number of times, to send the mechanic for solving problem, no visit made till date (April-19, 2008).
          12-April-08 - After a lot of hard work got the contact number & name of the IFB person in Okhla, N Delhi - Naresh Upadhayay.
          Speak with him & he promises to look into the matter & solve, he passes the complaint to Repair center, there is a call from Repair center - but no visit from any mechanic what-so-ever.

          Even the lady (on behalf of Naresh Upadhayay) did not revert back or confirmed if the issue was closed or not.

          Strangely, this is the First company I have seen, which never calls back to find out if the Case opened has been closed to satisfactorily or not, whether it is the Call center or the company office, a total lackadaisical attitude.

          Rs, 20, 000/- is not a small amount for anyone it is a hard earned money. I think we should go ahead to Consumer Forum and log a case against IFB.

          very poor service
          hello
          i have ifb fully automatic washing mechin my ticket no is 2210118 still now its open no one come to resolve the problem that to its in warrranty.

          if IFB cont afford to give service be open to consumers, like china item.

          sell and forget ... ..
          it is actually correct.i bought one front load washing machine.the panthalon door always problem.one time he changed.the 2nd day it will not work.if the door was not work, the dryer also not work.i have suffered a lot.i booked a complaint in call centre.after 10days he came.i ask, he simplay the call centre just told.i ask call centre, he told 24hours he is coming.last time 11/2 monts late he came and simply charged 750Rs asking the door cost.he told one time was change that warrenty time.i rang so many times to manager.he simply no stock.last time i was shouted.he give one phone no Mrs.Priya.she is also the same answer.so many times i booked the call centre.he gave compliant no.every time the ifb servise is satisfied or not, these sms from ifb.every time i answered no.next month the warrenty period close.what i am doing
          daily i call to the manager.

            Although the machine is carrying out the spin Cycle, the water is not draining out of the drum and clothes are coming out sogging wet.
            The machine was purchased on 24/01/2007. We had purchased "Extended Warranty" upto 23/01/2011. The serial No. of the machine is 098686

            Repeated calls to the Service Centre in Cochin, only results in a mechanic coming to see the machine, looking at it and stating that everything is OK. He does not have the patience to run the machine through one wash cycle and locate the fault.

            IFB WASHING MACHINE — Washing machine on AMC, water is not draining

            Water is not draining and cannot use the machine for last 1 month. Many phone call to the centre, service pesonnal mobile, complaint written in the shop which sold the machine. Many time promised to attend, but not turned up.

              I got ifb top loading washing machine model no: aw60-806, serial no: 70600424, on 24/10/07, from bharath electronics appliances(BEA)coimbatore. Ever since we started using it i've been experiencing problems with it!!
              The service centre was on time only for the installation, after that we have called them thrice, they have turned up only once, that too after almost a month of complaining!
              The last time, the technician came, he said he cannot fix the complaint n needed to remove the board and send it for repair!
              Its been over a month now, and no response from the service centre.
              When i called the service centre on last thursday, they said that the part has not come from chennai yet! They said they will fix it by saturday, now almost a week passed, still no response!
              I'm in deep trouble and confused not knowing what to do next. We bought the machine as a solution to our washing problems, now the machine itself has become the biggest problem to me! I got the machine only for the company's goodwill- otherwise there were better options for me from other brands as in rate, performance and service.
              I need the machine repaired immediately or replaced if the complaint is out of manufacturing! This would be my last complaint and if i dont get a response for this too, i have to take legal actions against the company for my money refund for the machine!!

              i am not satisfied with ur ifb washing machine service .
              my washing machine is under warranty period and recently i had a problem washing machine was not working, so i call service center, 3 days after the complain booked the service engg. came then he said the problem has to be rectified in the service center so we have to bear the conveyance charge or us own conveyance when my product is under warranty period why should i bear the charges.

              IFB MICROWAVE — Faulty piece delivered

              I purchased an IFB Microwave on 15.07.2008. Within 10 minutes of first use, it tripped. On raising a complaint at the call centre, an executive came and agreed with the complaint, and offered replacement of spare (in a brand new equipment). I sought a replacement of equipment. I raised several complaints thereafter upon non-action.

              Today to my utter disbelief, I understand that my complaint has been closed. Absolutely unprofessional and callous attitude towards customers, by the "big brand" IFB. My emails to [protected]@tvs-e.in have not evoked any response. Shame on TVS.
              i buy microwave of IFB in March 2004 from your dealer SARGAM ELECTRONICS sackhi jamshedpur . They not given me enough training how to use and not given me cookery book . After one year the door seal was get dammage your service engineer came they change the door but it not fitted properly i told them but no response from them. From two year it was not working it kept ideal . I inform your service engineer on one came to check it. So i not suggest to any one to buy from IFB.               I also bought 806 model top loading IFB, it was working fine for 10 months. Once it is started giving problem I gave a complaint 17-7-08 just 2 days back[protected] the problem was solved. I litrally unable to do anything against them. I am living in bangalore, i called all the people in bangalore from top to bottom they give always a new reason. They say no stock for the board. The board has to come from chennai. How far chennai to bangalore it is just 350 km in 6hrs you can reach. They think we are fools.

              These service engineers/supervisors told me that there is no experts for handling top loading models. there is no spare parts for top loading machine.

              For others, my suggestion is dont even think about buying top loading IFB washing machine. If you read this please let your friends also know.

              IFB Industries — Faulty washing machine

              I have purchased a IFB washing machine in the month of August 2008 and it has not been working properly since day one. I have called up and registered a complaint at many times to the IFB customer care centre as well as the local IFB service centre but no one has bothered to even respond. I feel i have paid lots of money for a new washing machine that does not work.

              Top-Loading Fully Automatic Washing Machine — Machine under AMC- Complaint not being attended to.

              We have a fully automatic washing machine under AMC since its purchase. Present AMC is valid upto[protected]. Machine cabinet needs replacement.
              We had lodged service request sevaral times.(Ref. complaint no. N8C91004421dated[protected], complaint no.N8C8290845 etc.) Despite repeated requests there is no corrective steps to replace the cabinet. We are told that there are charges of Rs. 1500/-appx.which we have alredy accepted to pay reluctantly. Now we are told you have to pay for transportation. Previously, for chemical wash and other repairs also we were made to pay Rs. 400/- approx. Despite AMC, LG is charging for services on one pretext or the other.
              These acts of LG Electronincs India Pvt. Ltd. are a pointer to deficieny in service.
              Please attend to the complaint and put an end to harassment to your customers.
              I bought a new IFB washing machine and my ticket number is 2382170, the irony here is that it's not yet installed .
              Apart from that my problem is that when I happened to call the local franchise company to my surprise the owner has a very strange and amazing logic : He says "we (customers) have to inform the(tech's) that they should call only by calling us" which I did not do .I thought in a civilized society like our we call before going to any body's house that minimum excepted but thanks to Mr.Anil the owner of the franchise of IFB he corrected me .

              my name is Dr Vinod Baheti, resident of 14, Usha colony, Malviya nagar.
              I bought the LG washing machine ( front loadingfully -automatic) about 3 years ago. and took AMC regularly. The machine it self and the front door lock are giving trouble since day one. The service is so poor that they do not seem to listen to you and take long time to respond. service centre in a large city like jaipur does not keep even smallest parts.
              My machine is out of order again. It does not start. I have booked the complain 4 days ago and the engineer came once and said he will come back tomorrow and now no one comes inspite of multiple reminders. . They are selling poor quality machines in India and the servise is extremely poor. will some one listen!!!

              IFB Industries — new machine inordinate delay in installation. Impolite and most frustrating talk by your engineer

              We have purchased your IFB washing machine from Croma, SG road on 5th of December. Today its 10th of December, it is still not been installed even though the delivery is effected on the 7th of December. The executive or installation guy seems to be uneducated and untrained talk very roughly, and today even told us to return the machine to the dealer if needed.
              It is not only ifb services, in fact, the ifb-India products are of aweful quality despite the prices are at the top among similar products. The workmanship and the design match in horribly bad standards. I purchased a washing machine costing Rs. 24000/- odd in 2004. Within 3 months the shaft gave way, I had to wait for two weeks for some one from IFB to tell me that I have to deliver the unit at their service centre. It took its own time to get repaired and delivered with thetransport bill to my account. After another year, when warranty period is gone, the door switch burnt out. I was informed that it is not only the door switch, but also the shock absorbers have to be changed. I paid for it and now the turn for the main drum motor to get shorted and the heater going non fuctional eevn though the heater per se shows proper continuity. They say that the circuit which controlls the heater ON/OFF function, has to be replaced.
              I wish this seves to open the eyes of the customers in future.

              Dear Sir

              My washing machine has been out of order due to rat cut but till date it is in warranty period.So i complain the same to your Muzaffarpur service centre and some one come to my home place i.e. Riga(sitamarhi) and inspect the machine and took RS.300/-and told my father that he will be back within 15-20 days with accessaries and do the needfull. But lot of reminder he does not come and after 1-2 month
              send it to my service centre Muzaffarpur.Muzaffarpur is not convenient for me, so i told him return my deposite i.e. Rs.300/-(Without any Receipt)he refused to do so.

              Then i bring it at Patna and i am ready to pay transportation charge i.e. rs.250/-from my residence(o-89, doctors colony, kankarbagh Patna-20)and also ready to pay accessaries charges which is distroyed by rat.
              But your service engineer at Patna Mr. Pankaj also demands servicing charge. Then i refused to pay servicing charge because it is in warranty period but they are telling no service charge you have to pay.

              Then i again told Mr Pankaj please cooperate with me and adjust Rs.300/-which i have already paid to your Muzaffarpur service centre.He refused to do so and told us in this regard you talk with my Muzaffarpur service centre.

              So, i am very much disappointed due to this, that your company is a reputed company and service centre is linked with all over India, then what kind of service is providing by your service centres.

              No respect of customers in your service centre. Mr Pankaj told me that you are free to complain any where and also go to court.

              Sir, in this regard your opinion is awaited that this kind of harresment is justificable and i have no way to go court, and customer is helpless in front of your service provider.

              I lodged a complaint no 2588312 on January 6th that the MCB trips each time the machine is switched ON. The machine is on AMC. There has been no response from their service personnel despite the call centre assuring me every day that someone will positively attend it today itself. All the telephone numbers given by the call centre for local agencies in Delhi are non-functional or switched off. The company has made certain that it is impossible for a consumer to talk to anyone within the company in case of non-response from them. What does one do in such a hopeless situation? Swear never to touch such a company again I guess ! OR move the consumer court and wait for a year for justice, meanwhile just hand-wash your clothes..

              IFB — Poor service response - Washing machine

              I bought a IFB 6kg senator washing machine in Sept. However, the machine was first used in October, when I moved to my new house. The machine immediately had a water leakage problem during the spin cycle, which was reported to the customer care. It took IFB about a month to finally rectify the problem which they did by replacing a part - the tacho.

              The machine hardly ran properly for a month, when another problem appeared. The MCB started tripping as soon as the machine reached the spin cycle.

              Another complaint was lodged with the customer care on 20 dec. An engineer visited in the first week of Jan and said that the motor had some short circuiting and had to be replaced. On the 14 of Jan, the complaint ticket was closed by IFB stating that the problem was resolved.

              On calling the IFB customer care, I was told that they cannot reopen the ticket and can only create a fresh one. A new ticket was raised and I somehow managed to contact the area service manager for Faridabad after calling repeatedly for a couple of days, who assured that the problem would be resolved immediately.

              I got a call from the service center that an engineer will be reaching with the motor on Saturday - 17 Jan. However, just when the engineer was supposed to come, they called again that the motor was dropped and damaged, so they would be getting a new one and would not be fixing it on 17th.

              This after the problem was reported nearly a month ago. The area manager - Mr. Paras also was not reachable.

              I would now like to return the washing machine given the highly unacceptable service quality and response of IFB.

              I live in Ahmedbad, Gujarat. I have purchased an IFB elina model washing machine two years before. It has started developing major problems from the beginning.               I have Purchased One Fully Automatic Front Loading Washing Machine - Model" Elena", on 18/08/2008 from Vasundhara Electronics, Sec 13, Vasundhara.

              Since its inception, the machine is not working smoothly.

              Several complaints were lodged with the customer care for replacement of the Machine but all are in vain.

              The problem with machine is, it vibrates heavily at the time spinninh and it about to jump/ already from its stand. This problem occured very frequently, at least twice a month.

              The problem was not attainded satisfactorily.

              Today also I have lodged a complaint for the same issue (Complaint No. 2853682 dt 24/03/2009).

              I have requested the dealer "Vasundhara Electronics" to take necessary action but nothing has turned up.

              I have a great expectation from IFB, but the attitude of their Engineers and Executives are shameful and totally negative which I believe does not go with the reputation of IFB.

              They are more interested in selling their by-products but to attain the problem.

              This is my humble request to please take the necessary action and let me feel that the heard earned money I have invested for purchase of IFB Product had not gone waste.

              IFB Industries — Unattended inspite of various reminders

              My IFB washing machine is under AMC and i have complained on 25.02.09 (ticket no.2761968)which was unattended for three weeks. Thereafter when i approached help line they gave me another ticket no.2824798/16.03.09 and assured it will be attended within 48 hrs.

              Alas, after several follow-ups, my call was attended on the 4th day. The service engineer came, just asked what the problem was and said it will be attended by another guy tomorrow.

              And from the next day whenever i call i get the same answer that "it will be attended shortly".

              I had purchased an IFB Machine from MAGIC ELECTRONICS (Mum) PVT. LTD on 17th October 2008. This machine first delivered was defective and did not work. The service centre representative had to be called multiple times by me to just come for the demo. Since the machine was not working, they delivered another machine. Now since January 2009, i have been having repeated problems with the washing machine. I have spoken to Mr. Manujanth and Mr. Sharma who called from some service centre. They are not offering any assistance in solving the problem<br />

              I believe there is a big racket with the company and the service centre. The service centre representatives are only interested in selling the additives and other material. Today inspite of lodging numerous complaints my washing machine is not working and the company is acting in a totally irresponsible manner. <br />

              i purchase a IFB micro wave oven from spencer, southcity mall on january 2009. it is under warranty. since june 2009 it is not working. i lodged a complaint no. 3168093. a person visited our home and told to come in the next day. after few days i called at [protected] and 32547133 service centre. but they told part is not available and after that when ever i called they told will call you "after 10 minutes". but they never called me.               i had brought an ifb diva machine. it had got complaint in the first week itself. i registered a complaint. but no one had come yet. bad company and bad customer service
              I am the IFB washing machine purchaser on 09/10/2009. I was purchased a new machine, fully automatic, 6 Kg Digital number 021002 mfg date:07/08/2009 at ‘Bharat Electronics and Appliances’ Coimbatore. On the next day the dealer supplied the machine to my Home. On the same day I have received a call from your authorized service center named ‘Star Engineering, Coimbatore’ and they asked me to stay in my home for Demo scheduled between 2.00 PM to 3.00PM on 10/10/2009. Myself and my spouse waited upto 4.00 PM and nobody came.

              After I made a call to[protected] Landline of Star Engineering) and got a reply the demo was postponed to tomorrow i.e., 11/10/2009 between 5.00 PM to 6.00 PM. Myself and my wife had waited for a long time and nobody came. Even nobody make a courtesy call for not attending as thet assured.

He came by 8.00 PM and he found the Door lock was in broken condition. He told that it was a small thing and it will be rectified by the Technicians on the next day itself. He sold us some stand and other accessories worth of Rs.2050/-.

              On 13/10/2009 No body came or even made a call. My wife expressed his un satisfaction. I made a call to the Service man Mr.Moorthy in his mobile number [protected] by 11.00 AM. He informed me to attend the work by “This day evening”. But no body attended.

              On 14/10/2009 around 5.00 PM I made a call to the Office[protected] and[protected] and I expressed my grievance. A gentleman advised me to contact the Manager Mr. Mareeswaran in his mobile number [protected]. I spoke to the manager and told everything in detail. He said that he will see the matter.

              On 15/10/2009 also nobody attended my compliant. I bought the Brand for the reputation of the Brand name. I Bought it from my hard earned money. I am not expecting such a service or response from IFB.

              I am working as a HR manager in an MNC and how I can recommend the machine to my colleagues and workers? How many days I can take leave for receiving the service Engineer? Is this the way to attend the customer complaint of IFB quality standards?

              You may please look into the matter because each and every customer is important and they are the real advertisers of your product.

              My Name is Abhishek Ramgiri & this is the first & without hesitating i would say for the last time i'll be using an IFB Product.I got an Micro-Owen of IFB as a Wedding gift. But, i was surprised to see the company packing of the Owen. The machin was covered from all 3 sides excluding the front door which has a glass on the door due to which it broke down while transportation. When i opened it i found the glass peices in the entire packed box.I lodged a complaint on this on 8th Dec 09 with a complaint no.3843392 & an Executive was sent to my place & his name was Mr. Vijay. He said i'll check with the company what best can be done in this case & will get back to you in next 48hrs which i think is not yet over as per him anyways, after waiting for 2 days on 3rd day i again called up to the same fellow & he said i am on leave please dont disturb me & call at the so & so number (I got a new no. from him) i called up that no. & another guy came to my place his name was Mr. Sanoj. Now this gentlemen told me SIR, WE WILL REPLACE THE MACHINE FOR YOU IT'S JUST A MATTER OF 1 E-MAIL WHICH I'LL SEND TO THE COMPANY & AS SOON AS I'LL GET THE REVERT ON IT YOUR MACHIN WILL BE REPLACED.After waiting for 10 days i again called up the service centre no. & i spoke to Mr. Shashikant who being very jenerous told me sir i'll send the person in next 2 days which again never happened.Getting very irritated i again called up the service centre & this time i spoke to Mr.Fayaz & this guy being extra humble suggested me to lodge a fresh complaint. I said ok sir as you say because i was a fool to purchase a product of a company which really SUCKS.Anyways i lodged a fresh complaint & the no. is 386118 on 31st Dec 09 i waited for 4 days & nobody turned up to attend this complaint at my place
              i called up at the customer care on 04th Jan 10 & to my surprise they told me these complaints are already attended & are closed as well.The lady on the other side gave me a fresh complaint no. 2126743.
              On 5th Jan 10 i got a call from the company asking me do i have a bill of this Machine.
              WHAT THE SHEET COMPANY IS THIS I HAVE A BLOODY WARRANTY CARD WITH ME FOR THIS MACHINE WHICH HAS THE STAMP OF THE SHOP FROM WHOM I BROUGHT THIS HELL TO MY PLACE.               I have purchased a top loading IFB washing machine model
              AW60-9021 during Sep 07 and it is giving periodical problems
              one or the other.Not washing, not drying, water coming not stopped
              even after the machine timer off, condenser problem etc.Now I have
              lodged a complaint with them regarding not working on 27.02.10 by complaint no: 4194164 and the technician came and took the
              belt( It is loose and so the machine is not working) for replacement
              and now says it will take atleast a week for getting replacement
              from their stores. The machine is under AMC for two years upto SEP 2011. The belt may cost some 15 or 20 rupees and the Trichi
              branch is not holding stocks of these meagre value spares.
              (Even local machanic comes with 2 or 3 belts if we call for him for a grinder repair).But this so called big company has no stock.
              So I advise all my friends not to purchase IFB products as their
              after service is very worst. I donot know when my machine will be repaired eventhough I have taken AMC one year prior to its date of effect thinking that the brand of the co is good.
              I request the company to take back the machine and keep it in their showroom for display of their poor service.

              IFB Industries — Inordinate delay in Repairs & Supply of spare parts of IFB washing machine

              Respected sir/madam,

              I am a costumer of IFB front load washing machine(model executive elite Sr.no. WT EX EL B 014820). On 22.02.2010, there was a breakdown with a problem in the spinning tank of my washing machine and hence i logged a complaint with your local service engineer. On 23.02.2010 your service engineer Mr. Vinayak ( Belgaum ) inspected the washing machine and told me that the problem was due to the wearing of the tank and it is essential to replace it.Then the washing machine being my daily essential requirement, we asked your engineer to immediately replace the worn out tank by installing a new tank. your service engineer assured me that he is going to indent for a new tank (spare part) with the company and will be able to get it and repair the washing machine within 2 days. But till date, we are being told that this spare part has not yet been supplied by the company and he is not able to redress the problem of our washing machine until he gets the spare part from the company.This spare-part is in short supply and once he gets it he will immediately attend to our problem.
              We have purchased the IFB washing machine thinking that the company will provide the best possible after-sale service and there will not be any problem of any of the spare parts required for essential repairs. We are totally disappointed due to this inordinate delay in the supply of the essential spare parts and the timely service. Hence, we have been put to lot of inconvenience. Kindly look into this matter and take immediate steps to rectify the problem. We hope that you will do the needful at the earliest and will also ensure that no such inordinate delay in service and supply of spares occurs in future.

              IFB WASHING MACHINE — Poor response from IFB service team

              I am using my IFB washing machine for past 6 years. Last year I enter in to AMC ( AMC.No: 11878, dt:07.08.2009, Amount: INR 1738) contract with IFB. For past 3 months i have some problems with my machine and was come and inspected by IFB service team. They suggested me to change the machine outer body (Because one of the shock absorber's holding bracket got cut).               my microwave is faulty for the past one month, and NO one from ifb is able to rectify my problem

              we have registered five complaints with the company's customer service for the machine 7kg. digital front loading washing machine not functioning properly in last four months. our machine is making huge noise like fire crackers and gets displaced from the place it is installed at. it also leaks from the front door. many of the service engineers have come and chaged many parts like the motor, mother boards, filters etc. but the problem is still there.the last engineer who came said he would send his senior on 1st of april 2010 but no body has come till date. when we check from the customer care no. they give us the numer of another person in delhi but when we contact still no body comes. our machine is under AMC with them.

              We got ifb top loading washing machine. Ever since we started using it we are experiencing problems with it!!

              we have called service center almost 20-30 times to rectify are issues that we face a heavy noise when it starts drying cloths it will hear like a flight flying inside our home, they have turned up just to say will come with another parts to solve it that too after almost a month of complaining!

              Its been over 2months now, and no response from the service centre.

              We got frustrated with kind of issues form the begining, not at all satisfied with the product. if we call to purchase the response is as fast as light travels. But very bad service and manufacture.

              we all have herd that " customer is King" but come to IFB its worst than a begger. no i am not disgrunted with one person but the way and un professional attutude they handle. their customer center is based out of kolkatta will invariably have a IVR wait period of 5-10 minutes. But if you are luck and your patience has not given up you get connected, you explain your situation and request if some one will come for repair. you are bombarded with appologies and sorry's and being told that the request being taken on urgent basis. so one certainly feelt and keeping aside all works one start waiting in hope that some one will come.
              Nothing happens!

              Executive model of washing machine — Very bad response of service centre

              Such types of ignorance to attend complaint leads us to believe that the maitenance structure of your company is collapsed. Why should we purchase any other product of IFB?
              It is known from my experience about washing machine and dish washing machine of IFB are the market leader in the products and such a worst experience for repairs and behaviour of your service centre, the idea of purchasing new dish washer is dropped.We may go for other company where we find good service after sale.

              I am working in a public sector bank in Calicut in Kerala State. I am recently transferred from Malappuram District.

              Before coming to Calicut, I had made a call to the toll free number [protected] and registered a complaint on 03.08.10 about the washing machine Senorita. The request Id was 4882521. We are badly in need of the washing machine as my wife is suffering from chest pain and could not do any heavy duties. As soon as I come to Calicut, I had called to various numbers and on 05/08/2010, some body from IFB came and repaired the machine. Our complaint was about the burn smell and the unusual sound from the washing machine. After their repair also same complaint remains. They told to purchase rubber sleev and hose tube for the repair. We tried again with some of your franchisee numbers and nobody has turned up till date.

              I request your kind self to interfere in the matter and do the necessary things to make it repair immediately.

              I have brought a IFB elena washing machine,but in time intervals its functioning stops,Complains are beeing lodged but in this 3-4 months several times they have changed the motor of the machine reasoing for its defect.It takes around 7-8 days in replacing the motor,even more the customer servises are not reacting well to the situation and pointing the fingers on us for the damage.
              I have execuive plus wahing machinE FRONT LOADING.It has frequent bearing failure, shaft rusting, heavy noise, failure of dryer, Body rusting and complete machine is out of order in 3 years service.

              It is poor designed and do not recommend this machine to any one.
              Pl do not buy an IFB product. They will never turn up for service. As u can very well see through this site that most complaints are for IFB only.

              My six months old microwave is not working and not heating at all. I have made complaint No.5512481 dated 3/12/2010. In spite of my nemurous reminders nobody has turned up to attend this complaint. In the corporate sector I have discussed it with various people. All are of the same view that nobody should purchase IFB products because the after sales service of IFB is NIL. In this way the day may not be far away when IFB will not get a single purchaser in the country unless the company take immediate corrective action for after sales sercvice.

The customer service of IFB is so poor that despite calling their Raipur customer care and toll free number repeatedly, we have not received washing machine stand even now. We have even tried to contact a senior official on his cell phone but the number provided was either a wrong number or the person deliberately did not want to pick up.

              It is now almost two months since we ordered for the washing machine stand. We wonder that if anything goes wrong in the washing machine itself, we will have to go back to hand washing our clothes because IFB representatives are never going to trouble themselves to come to us.

              I am very much surprised by the services provided by IFB machine. Instesd of several compalins to the costermer care, they do not care for it. My machine is only three weeks old. Its programmable regulator is not working. Everytime the custermer people say that today we will rectify it. It is very unfortunate.

              Dear Sir,

              We purchased an IFB washing machine - Model Senorita Deluxe 5.5 Kg on 26/10/08 from Croma, Rohini, Delhi. The invoice number is 15139578.

              Ever since the machine was bought there had been one or other issue with the machinery.
              Initially, it used to vibrate badly and would move from its place.
              Then its tub and other parts were replaced in oct 10.
              And then a problem with water inlet.
              I appreciate the prompt service provided to us.

              But my apprehension is if the same continues ever again I will be in a problem since my warranty is ending in oct'11.
              I feel that the machine has a major technical fault because of which it keeps giving these problems.

              I would request you to kindly get the piece replaced as a whole.

              My IFB washing machine is covered under AMC valid upto dec-2012. I made a complaint to the mumbai office on 22 Feb 2011 for some noice at the time of spinning.. Some person from the company came the next day and told that washing drem has to be changed and change in after 4-5 days but that time the persons told problem with power supply and others techenical problem He promised to repair/ change the component on the comming day. Despite my repeated telephones to your office at Mumbai and assurances given by the person attending the calls, no body has come to repair the machine. I do not know the reasons for the delay. If there is some problem then I should be informed so that some alernative arrangements could be made. Negligence and carelessness on the part of your office has been causing great incovenience and avoidable expenditure on the washing of cloths in the washing shop for which you company is responsible. Today - is 25 th day the problem is not solved.

              I had bought IFB Elena DX model of Washing Machine from M/S Quick Cool, Sec-19, Rourkela in Oct'2010. There was offer of scratch card for an assured gift, I got an Electric Kettle on scratching the card & it was told that gift will be delivered within a month. But till date no developement.               Complaint details : This is to update you that I am owner of above washing machine whose details are listed above . The Appliance was under warranty until 8 May 20111 . I have lodged acomplaint on 5th May 2011 ( Complaint number : 6308714 ) following a fault observed in the appliance . The IFB representative visited the place and adviced that drum needs to be replaced and he has to do communication with IFB and will revert back. He left premises mentioning that he will pay visit day after tommorrow . Therefater repeated followup calls i was adviced that complaint has been closed and , I need to lodge a fresh call and pay Rs .2500 towards repair charges, in case i need to get my appliance repaired . Despite the appliance was under warranty , I was denied for providing the services and now being forced asked to pay extra money in order to get my appliance working . Therefore would request you to kindly lodge a complaint against the IFB and help me to get this issue resolved . I would also request you to warn IFB regarding this indecent behaviour and denial of rights under cosumer law .

                The washing machine was repaired by company engineers in the first week of March-08 and since the same was not in warranty, the engineers suggested to take AMC of Rs 1685. The AMC was taken.

                The machine stopped working again and a complaint was registered on 21st March( Complaint no 1644448). Till date the problem has not been addressed and repeated calls to their call centres is not yielding any result. The call centre gave the mobile no of person inchange of Mumbai zone, spoke to him but never bothered to call back and also not answering my calls now.

                Helpless situation, want IFB to return the AMC money and I will get the machine rectified by a local vendor.

                  i've order protector powder dt.march 4th 2008.they told that it will be delivered within 48 hrs.but with daily reminder also has not been able to delivered the powder. powder is important as it has to be mixed with regular detergent to avoid descaling etc. i've it's expensive model which costs me around 20k bugs.it has been purchased on july 05.since i ordered only powder, do not have any complaint so they are not interested in coming just to give powder, as they 'll not be paid any labour charges. they said they do not have any outlet from where i can buy these. i'm in a great mess.pls. help me

                    IFB in my opinion is, one of the worst companies to deal with. It offers bad products, poor service and the staff is completely negligent towards consumer complaints. I as a consumer have experienced fraudulent practices by the company.

                    I bought the IFB ELENA/ ELENA EX (washing machine) on 6/ 11/2007 After using the machine we encountered a problem that the drying capacity of the machine was very poor. The clothes almost came out wet even after the spinning cycle. After several complaints made to IFB and 8 to 10 visits of the service guys, the machine was finally replaced. During the machine installation on 29/12/07, I was informed by the service engineer that this new machine also had some problems, that would hamper the normal functioning of the machine and so the machine had to be replaced again.
                    •On 03/01/2008 the machine was replaced for the 2nd time. After several uses, we still encountered the same problem as our originally purchased machine(wet clothes). With a doubt in mind, we checked the Sr. No. of the machine and with utter SHOCK realised that the Sr. No. of this machine, (2nd replacement) was the same as the Sr. No of the original machine sold to us. That means a defective machine was sent to us as a replacement, saying that it was a new machine.
                    •We contacted several employees, including the regional sales manager, but no action has been taken so far. The machine is still lying at our end, and can be put to no use. Above all it has added to our inconvenience and unnecessary stress. No regrets or apology has been received so far from the company’s side for committing such a big fraud.
                    My sincere request to all Pls. do not deal with this company, it will simply let you down.

                    I bought an IFB Microwave Oven (with grill) from Bajaj Electronics (Hyderabad) one month back with the hope that this is one of the best brands I could buy. I was surprised to find a Samsung Kit along with the micro oven instead of an IFB kit being delivered at my place. I followed up with the IFB people to provide me with an IFB kit but no use. Instead they asked me to buy a kit separately from the head office.
                    After several reminders, 2 people came for the demonstration who seemed to know nothing about the oven. They asked me to follow the booklet that was provided along with the machine.

                    I have never come across such horrible after sales service. My request to all the buyers- Pls. do not go for IFB product if you want peace of mind.
                    i had bought a ifb microwave on 10 th november 2007.till i bought the oven it was not working well, the i registered a complaint to ifb service centre via phone. a service engineer came to my home and took a part from the oven to replace it. till now the part was not replaced. the part was took by him one month before, i had just kept my oven like a doll in my home. so i want the ifb to take action to recover my oven.

                    I also taken IFB washing machine and making noise while washing cloths, and the complaint is also unattended after more than 30 days passed.
                    i had taken an AMC effective from 19/07/2008 but till date no one has come from IFB for the routine check up inspite of following up with their local dealer.
                    It is really disgusting to note that such a good brand has so poor service back up.
                    I would recommend all customers not buy any IFB product and suffer my fate and agony of repeatedly calling them

                    washing machine/microwave oven — Fraud by company representative

                    Dear Sir,
                    I had purchased one washing machine and one microwave oven from M/s Navrang Electronics, Delhi-92 on Nov'2008. One Mr.Kamal Uniyal, a representative of IFB visited to my home for the demo and he proposed to purchase a trolley and cover of the washing machine. He insisted on the cash payment of Rs.1465/- towards the cost of such item for their prompt delivery. The said amount was paid to him for which he did not issued any receipt. Till date he has not turned up with the recommended accessories. On contacting the Delhi's trans Yamuna service centre, no proper reply was given about the whereabouts of Mr.Kamal Uniyal. It is very painful and embarrassing that the company is employing such a service personnel/representative who are doing the frauds with the customers. The IFB company is requested to direct the Delhi's Customer service centre either to deliver the goods or refund the money as it is already going to be 2 months. IFB can make a inquiry from the Delhi's customer service centre to find the fact and factual datas as I have firm believe that I am not the lone person who has been victimised by the company representative but there would be so many others who have been cheated by Mr.Kamal Uniyal (cell No.[protected]). It is also very humiliating that the Banglore centre has also become defunct as no response is coming from there end. Two complaints on the said subject has already been sent to Company's Customer feed back/customer complaint in the month of Nov'2008, the reply for these are still awaited.
                    Hi we have an IFB machine at our place and its functioning wonderfully yes at times things go wrong but that may be due to improper usage faulty electrical connection lack of earthing. Im completely satisfied with the machine we have and the quality of wash it provides w have an elena which we have been usin formore than 3 years without any hitch.

                    I Have also bought a IFB washing machine Elena in Year 2005. after 2 year i found spark and flame from machine and after get check from their service team it was told to us that timer has been burned including wiring of machine. I paid around 3000 Rs to get replace burned part. after 1 year again found same problem and paid same amount to replace it. this time service team took this machine to their workshop to check thoroghly why this problem has repeated.
                    Same time service team also recommend me to have a AMC and same i have taken for 2 year and machine under AMC now. in AMC around 6 time my machine has been burned due to same problem and same time service man repalced same part. in between it was also told me that get check earthing which found ok later and also told me to have voltage cutout which was costed around 900RS. After this also machine is regularly repeating same problem.

                    IFB customer care is not taing it very series as they suppose to take it.

                    3 day back i faced again same problem and immediately we have reported to customer care but no action has been taken yet. we request to IFB to change my machine with new product.

                    Ezone in kolkata Mani square is a fraud shopping mall I ever met. I purchase washing machine which include One Dinner Set as a Diwali Offer. But we dont get the gift till now after 2 months. They also give fallse statement and not receiving phn calls. Lastly they told they have already deliveried the dinner set and they create an false deliveried copy.

                    Hi all, IFB AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) is a cheating one and Don't pay a single rupee for the same . They never turn you once received the amount . Be aware .I have paid a sum of Rs 1738 /- towards AMC on 15.09.2009 and my contract period will be ended on 14.09.2010 .Till date IFB has not send any technicians to repair my IFB Elena Washing Machine, inspite of my repeated requests for the past one month . Further i made a complaint on 26.06.10 vide complaint No 4700147 through their 24 Hrs Customer Care[protected] . But they never send any technicians for repairing my washing machine and simply told me that we will send technician tomorrow as a first call AND IFB never send any technician till date . The IFB company is giving preferences to the customers those who have not paid AMC amount . Since the said customers only paying the exorbitant amount demanded by IFB . IFB is totally ignoring the customers those who have paid the AMC, since IFB is no way benefited from the said customers (AMC) . I am put to great mental agony and hardship due to the ill service and imperfection of IFB . HENCE I ONCE AGAIN TELL YOU ALL THAT DON' T PAY ANY AMOUNT TOWARDS AMC TO IFB .                     IFB is one of the WORST companies in India as far as after sale service and quality of products are concerned. It is really a horrible experience going for after sale service. Nobody listens.
                    IFB service in Goa is Horrible. Before they used to give prompt service. But now they have started a call centre to take complaints and the people there only note the complaint but cannot give any required information. They say the will get back. They give a service date but the technician doesn't turn up. If you call the call centre, they don't know anything but say they will check up and revert but never revert. They gave the no. of the service centre too and also the service manager. They are the same, either they don't answer the call or when they do, they promise to check with the technician and revert but never do. No one gives the no. of the technician who can actually tell what time he wil come. Once a day passes without turning up, the call centre says actually the service time is 24 WORKING hours not 24 hours. After expiry of that, I don't know what they will say. In this age where time is very important and people are working and specially have to wait at home for the technician, such service is unacceptable. Before I thought IFB was good, now I am sure I will not buy an IFB next time with such SHODDY service. Besides the service, the machine does not wash cleanly and i have already had to change the drum twice besides other repairs.

                    I have an important complaint to make.
                    We wanted to purchase a Dishwasher for which we approached IFB showroom in Bangalore o 23 Nov. They gave us the details and informed that we should make a cash payment on 24 Nov assuring us the product would be delivered and installed on 25Nov without fail. The m/c was delivered to our residence very late, around 7pm which was to be delivered by 4 p.m. We visually checked it and found stains on the surface of the m/c. When we spoke to the concerned about this they sent a person with a camera, took pics and said they would replace the piece the next day, and left.
                    We were in constant touch with a person by name Sriranga. The next day when things did not start moving we tried calling the call centre who gave us a number in GOA. He assured us that they would hasten the process, but nothing happened. Since we were the affected party we tried a few times after which Mr Nitin Regional Service Manager South called and assured us that it would be replaced and installed without fail on Friday the 25 Nov, and gave me his mobile no. in case work did not progress.
                    On 25 Nov we kept chasing and finally a new m/c was delivered at 5 pm. Subsequently we called up Mr Sriranga for installation. He gave another no. of a Mr Reddy, who after he heard our need of installation switched of/did not attend to our calls. I tried to call Mr Nitin and found his mobile was non existent as per recorded msg.
                    Finally thro Saturday we kept reminding that the m/c needed installation, but no response. I am writing this since it is Sunday morning.
                    I request your sincere interference in this matter. Otherwise we are constrained to believe that IFB is a company who do not care for their customers, which I might be constrained to bring to the notice of Consumer Grievance Cell and the Media.

                      I bought a IFB Microwave oven in august 2007 and unfortuantely it got repaired in october. I raised a complaint and the company sent the executive. The executive on inspection informed that the motor is out of order and will require 3 weeks since the spare part was out of stock. Since then neither i am able to trace the executive nor any response from call centre is futile. Finally i was shocked last week that my complaint has been closed completely adn i raised a frewsh complaint

                      Its a shame for a company like IFB to offer such a poor service to customers

                      I am in bangalore and it will be great if someopne can provide me the top level heads number in IFB so that i can escalate this issue to tje max....

                      IFB 30C MICROWAVE OVEN — NO RESPONSE, CHEATING

                      I have purchased IFB Micro wave oven in a authorised dealer, M/s Vikek & co. and I have under AMC for the same on a regular basis. There was a problem last year and I made a complain on 4th December 2007. After 2 - 3 remainders a service man came and informed there was a small problem in the door knob and he would replace it in a day or two. To my surprise without rectifying the problem the case was closed and this was informed to on on January when we called the customer care number to know the status. So, again a complaint was made for the unrectified, same old problem. Till now it is not rectified
                      IFB is a very good company in providing services to the customers. They have fixed my microwave oven with in twelve hours after my complaint. All parts were genuinely replaced and I was fully satisfied with the technician's job.
                      Yes I agree with Prema. IFB is a company that cares for its customers in a unique way.
                      Its a horrible company and products are non sense. Service is almost extinct. Please dont purchase anything from IFB, else if you prepare to use and throw attitute towards the product. I am also awaiting for parts from IFB for my Microwave for Sept 2007 till date.

                      I had purchased a 25 lts micro oven from an authorised dealer (Bajaj Electronics) of Hyderabad one month back. I haven't received the product kit yet. There has been no product demo till now. I really dont know what to do with this micro oven..........

                      I am a co-sufferer over the past month. I purchased an IFB Microwave, and within 10 minutes of first use, it tripped. On raising a complaint at the call centre, an executive came and agreed with the complaint, and offered replacement of spare (in a brand new equipment). I sought a replacement of equipment. I raised several complaints thereafter upon non-action.

                      Today to my utter disbelief, I understand that my complaint has been closed. Absolutely unprofessional and callous attitude towards customers, by the "big brand" IFB. My emails to [protected]@tvs-e.in have not evoked any response. Shame on TVS.

                      I bought your microvave SR. no. 2705/09/01171 dated 23.12.07 vide bill no 7359 for Rs. 4990. We were out of station till June, 08 and after return, we have started using the equipment. However, since July, 08 it has started giving trobles. We lodged complaints No.2030128 dt 31.7.08, 2110941 dt 25.8.08, 2387080 dt. 5.11.08 and as on today 2456058. In prtevious coms., your mechanic comes and repair it but within two/three days it stop heating etc. In comp., dt 5.11.08 your mechanic had replaced the Magnet. However, it has stopped heating since last five daysKindly replace the defective equipment immediately or refund .

                      IFB — Complaints on IFB Microwave

                      I have purchased a IFB microwave on 27 Oct 08 and it is not working since three-four weeks. Even after calling so many times (my ticket no. is 2491991 on dated 02 Dec 08)to IFB calling Centre, no Engineer has been coming so far. This was the first time i purchased IFB item and it is spoiled within a month from date of purchasing. Can someone help me about it.
                      I have also got a bad experience with IFB. My Microwave stoped working about one and half month ago.I booked a complaint with the Service centre (Request No. 2426217) and waited . After 10 days some one came to see it. After several calls he came again and said that the Input Transformer is faulty and he removed it and taken with him. After that, one month was no news .I repeatedly call the service centre but no use. I lodged acomplaint in their web site, but there was no responsethere also . Now Iam waiting for some miracle to happen. Local service centre is uncompetent and inefficient. From this we can make out the standard of IFB.

He looked at the micriwave and siad that the problem( My owen was automatically setting the timer to 10, 20, 30, ..., 90 mins and i could not use it during that time) was due to voltage fluctuation and there is nothing wrong with the owen. This seemed very funny. All the struggle i did to get my oven serviced was just answered in 1 minute. It still continues to have that problem

Can't believe that it takes 10 calls/repeated requests to the call centre (i'm always promised that some "representative" is on the way to my place for the demo!!) and yet not have anyone from the organisation coming over to organise a simple task like a "demo"...Wonder what will happen if I ever need assistance in the future on the working of the oven in terms of service!!!...

                      IFB — Poor Service By IFB , Don't Buy IFB Microwave Oven

                      I bought one IFB Microwave Oven 25PG1S on 1st January and the product stopped working within 7 days . Then lodge a complaint via their call centre. After one day one service boy came and found that fuse within the owen is not working. He told me that now the fuse is not in their stock and it will come within 2 days and within 2 days they will replace the fuse. But already 5 days gone till now did not get any service from their side. IFB customer care is not at all good. No one is picking up phone so I can't check my complain status also. So I would suggest every bode not to buy IFB microwave owen as their product is not good and at the same time service provided by them is horrible.
                      I have the similar issue with the Microwave Oven. Two of their executives visited my place and the first said that there was some issue with the wire or something, and then the second said the motor has to be replaced as it might have been damaged due to Voltage fluctuations!!!... The product is still well within the warantee period if not, he said it would cost 2, 000/- +... More than 4- 5 complaints registered... n still no reply or call back from the customer service... Pathetic customer service...
                      I don't even understand how these companies till survive in the market.

                      Microwave Oven — No serviceman came for demo

                      sir/madam,
                      I purchases Kenstar Microwave Oven, Model No. OM-25 DCE. Serial No.K9B002867 on 22nd March 2009.
                      I live in Vashi. I purchased this product at KOHINOOR in Vashi. I thought that we will cook food on auspicious day of Gudhi Padwa. But since 22nd March 2009 no service engg came for a demo. We called the concerned engg several times. Every time he promised to come within 2/3 hours but never came. If such attitude is shown towards a new purchaser, i very much doubt about their efficiency in attending the service call. Now we are repenting our decision to purchase the product from Ken star. Our Microwave oven is now perched on kitchen platform as it is as a show piece.

                      I want to draw your attention towards the HORRIBLE SERVICE OF IFB . I made a complaint of my Microwave oven complaint no 2873624 registered at your Lucknow service centre in March 2009, but I am soory to note that even after my repeated reminders at your service centre and also at your IFB service office at Lucknow no one has boithered to look into my complaint.If such poor service had been in my knowledge I would have gone for some other microwave company . Moreover I am surprised to bring that I have an AMC with IFB and even after that I am not getting service .Now I request you to guide me as to what step I should take so that my microwave oven again comes back to its working condition OR should I go on complaining at our unheard / unattended service centres.
                      This is regarding the IFB Microwave I purchased from Ambala Cantt. A product from a Company like IFB giving so many problems
                      which is to my great surprise.Itz giving weird noises and even the functioning is not proper.And also no one has ever came for the

                      Ifb Microwave Oven — Lid Not Working

                      My IFB microwave oven ( 205c2 ) is not working properly so I've registered the complaint last month April 09, and my complaint no is 2916867. I bought a IFB Microwave oven ( 205c2 ) in Feb 09 and unfortuantely it got repaired in March. I raised a complaint and the company sent the executive. The executive on inspection informed that the lid is out of order, now we are not proper tools so we come by next weak 28 April 09. Since then neither i am able to trace the executive .
                      Yes. I am also having the issue and don't know what to do. Their customer service is not at all providing the reponses.
                      I entirely agree with u. IFB customer service is hopeless. I mention below gist of my complaint lodged withem on 7th May 2009. Till date there is no reply. The feedback was given on their website and they are least bothered.
                      "IFB MICROWAVE OVEN MODEL-20SC1 WAS PURCHASED BY ME IN SEPTEMBER 2007 FROM BHOPAL. SUBSEQUENTLY I GOT TRANSFERED TO RAIPUR IN MAY 2008. IN SEPTEMBER 2008 I LODGED A COMPLAINT WITH YOUR CALL CENTRE AND ALSO WITH THE LOCAL IFB SERVICE CENTRE REGARDING MALFUNCTIONING OF THE OVEN. PRIOR TO THAT THE SERVICE ENGINEER CLEARLY INDICATED THAT HE IS NOT IN A POSITION TO ATTEND TO THE COMPLAINT. THIS IS REALLY A SORRY STATE OF AFFAIRS AT IFB.                       I thought of giving you feed back of your so called Customer Care Service

                      1) Last week I lodged complaint with 39004321 and got complaint number 311087
                      and was told that your technician will contact in 24 Hrs.
                      2) For two days no sign of you man so I reminded again and I was given his number as 32424624.
                      3) When contacted he promised to come following day.
                      4) Two Smartly dressed 'technicians' came. They must be 'Highly Experienced' as without even touching they said they have to takeit to Woks and it will be picked on the following day.
                      5) Again no sign for two days. When I rang up they said the part 'Door for Cover' was out of stock even in the factory as such it cannot be repaired as such I should buy a new one !!
                      6)When I protested they gave me number of their boss Mr Mitesh Jain[protected] whose number was continously busy.
                      6) Frustrated, I called a private service house. Can you believe- they promptly came and repaird. They said - nothing wrong with the door but the release clamps had to be changed

                      Moral of the story is NEVER CONTACT COMPANY APPROVED SERVICE AGENTS AS THEY WILL NEVER ATTEND TO YOUR COMPLAINTS
                      If any of the above complaints are still unresolved, please get in touch with me immediately as I am going to comsumer redressal forum to get justice in my case. That's the only way left to teach these people a lesson of their lives. Collectively we can, I am sure, make the company close its shop.

                      I purchased an IFB microwave in June 2009 but inspite of repeated calls

                      I had purchased IFB microwave through IFB website in march-09.same had delievered, but even after repeated request and mail no service engineer visited.It seems that IFB has a very poor response towards customer complaints.

                      I had bought a IFB Microwave a couple of years back and had paid for the extended warranty this year. During the 1st week of August my Micro wave went out of order and then began my horrible experience of the customer service. I have been calling their helpline number numerous times and also have spoken to the Locak managers at Chandigarh but every time i get the same response.." We will call you back within 10-15 mins with the status" .. but that never happens.

                      The parts are not available.
                      This is a short of harashment/mental torture to the customers.The cost of the equipment is Rs.8000/-.It has not been used so much during the one year three months.

                      IFB/Microwave Oven — Problematic Machine; No Product Support

                      From the time I bought this microwave oven from IFB, I have been having issues. The Customer Call Center at Chennai is always busy and never reachable. Managed to reach the number accidentally during one of my trials after trying for about a year! The Service Engineer came, opened the machine and dusted it and claimed there were no issues. I took an AMC with the understanding that someone will anyway come and check after about a month due to the AMC....

                      Neither has anyone come so far, nor is the Call Center reachable and....

                      I AM CONTINUING TO HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM OF NO HEATING AND LIGHT NOT WORKING IN THE MICROWAVE!

                      I am logging this so that no one makes the mistake of buying IFB microwaves again. And think several times before buying any IFB product since there will be absolutely no product support from the Company.
                      Same thing has happened with us. The timer knob indicates digits other than time in sec. The service centre shop ( Krishna Sales Servive, Nadiad) subcontracted by IFB does not give any response.

                      I placed the first complaint# 3576254 in the last week of September 2009, for which a representative from your office arrived in my residence on 5th Oct and repaired the same.
                      They renewed my warranty for which i have paid Rs 1424. But in a couple of days it again got out of order, i again placed a complaint for which a representative arrived and advised us that some of the electrical parts had gone bad and would needed to be replaced.

                      Till then from that day i have been following up with the customer care excecutives and other representatives of the company for the same and every day i have been recieving assurances that it will be repaired the same day.

                      You are requested to look into this on priority and assure that it is reaired at the ealiest.

                      I am expecting a postive reply from your office failing which i have to adher to other measures.

                      This seems to be a critical issue. May I ask Indian Consumer Complaint Forum to let us know what action they are planning against IFB. Suggest us if we can do something.
                      I entirely agree with u. For the past two months I am trying to fix the problem on the IFB micro oven, two exectutives came but failed in their service. It's horrible. I will never ever go for IFB company products. Its an useless company and shows apathy towards their customers.
                      I bought this fake microwave oven from IFB in July 2008. After 5 months of rare use, the box stopped working. When we lodged a complaint, this bogus company wanted me to take AMC with them. After having taken the AMC for a year, till date (5th Dec 2009), the company has not taken steps nor care to replace the motor which the technician (so called) had identified initially. Several calls to the call centre and the regional office in Chennai all went in vain. My complaint number is 1533477. Every alternate day I am following up with these guys, but no response. Having swallowed up my AMC money, this company is worse than those finance companies which had cheated its investors. I regret as to why I had to purchase this kind of bogus product. And seeing the number of complaints here, I only fear how the product could pass through quality checks and enter the consumer market. I think the company has paid enough kick backs and today recovering it through consumers like us. India is one country where this is possible. Had this happened to any one consumer in a foreign country, by this time the company would have paid dearly. It is very unfortunate for us to be ripped off by such bogus companies.

                      Having seen the attitude of the customer service of the company, I am damn sure that my product is not going to be repaired and I need to convince myself that I have entertained a costly beggar in my lifetime.                       The services provided through the frachieses of the company in Delhi are not satisfactory. The so called service executives are either not experienced, trained or they are either not able to repair it at home or they intentionally take the micrrowave at the centre for making the bill high. Without giving any prior intimation of the estimated repair cost, they come with any bill amount like 2500 to 3000, on the machine of Rs. 4900/, and whereas the machine was a purchase of within 2 years time.
                      We donot understand as to why the company do not repair at the site. If it is not possible then why donot give any estimate. What is wisdom to spend Rs. 2700/- on repair on an item of Rs. 4900. Which has become of depreciated value after 2 years uses.

                      IFB — IFB Microwave service very poor and not able to fix the problem

                      I have IFB microwave. I took it because of the brand name. I did not know that it's service is damm poor. Whenever I called up customer care they provide me the complain number but no one turns up for the service untill and unless I call the local service people 4-5 times. From the start I am facing issues with this oven and from starting whenever I heat something in microwave vapour comes out through the front door due to some gap in the door. After complaining for so many times a tech came and told me he cannot fix this issue and after that I called up the senior person Deepak and Premraj and they also gave me the same reason. No body turned up. I stay in Faridabad , SEctor 46, 807,sadbhawna appartment. If no one turns up after this complain then I am ging to take leagal action against this company. I will go to consumer court.

                      i live in Rajajinagar, Bangalore and I bought an IFB Microwave 10 days back.. i called up the technician to install it and fixed up a time 5 times for the same , but every time he failed to turn up ... I have wasted a lot of time on this and am frustrated about this I now am at the mercy of these technicians. i d'ont know when the machine will be installed , if at all and do not know how to contact the people who make the ovens. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND EVERY BODY NOT TO BUY IFB PRODUCTS.

                      Our Turn table has been broken and we have register the complaint for so many times then their technician cam and inspected the thing and told that you have to give the charge for the Turn table because it is Glass and it doesnot have a warranty.

                      We said OK we will give the charge and that is the day that techncian never turned up we have register the complaint so many times to the DLR Vijay Sales Maninagar and no one is responding we dont know what to do we are very hopless and were we have to go !

                      I have complained to IFB customer about my microwave not working. Nobody cares to attend. They have new excuses everytime but nobody is interested in solving problem. THis is first service experience and it is very disappointing. I have written complaint on their website also but of no use.
                      I have a diferent and unique experiance with IFB product. I got Microwave Oven in aug, 2008. After just 3 months it stopped warming and after complaining it got fixed by replacing a fuse. Again after sometime it had the same problem and this time i had to go out of station for sometime and I planned to get it fixed after coming back. When i checked it again it worked fine. After some few months it stopped again warming, I lodged a complaint with service center and suggested them to get it fixed properly as the product was under warranty. they assuered me that the product is good and it needs fuse change. I insisted why is fuse getting worn out, there is some problem that is why fuse gets used up. They didn't listen to me and changed the fuse again.
                      This time again same thing happened and the product is 1 and half year old I don't use it heavily, just for warming the food that even sometimes. Warranty is expired this time. To my surprise when the customer service checked it, they told me of replacing some part worth Rs. 2000/=. I told them all story about this product why wasn't it replaced when under warranty, that time the problem was there and you were replacing fuses only. They aren't able to answer me.

                      If this is the problem with every IFB product then its OK I will agree IFB products are like this. If not then why was defective product sold to me and not serviced when under warranty.

With out any information the Service Engineer ( Mr.Issac) took the plastic part under the tray and went.!!!after 1week later I called Bangalore Service centre[protected] and talked to the In charge Mr.Niranjan and update the whole history.!! Again he sent the same engineer and he is brought some duplicate part from somewhere. he removed and opened the sealed Tray motor and fix some old gear on that and fix the motor on Owen, while he switching on smoke come out from Owen.!! fortunately I ask him to stop the all junk work and bring brand new Tray motor .
                      The Engineer Mr.Isaac from Bangalore service centre Did not closs the machine and still my Owen is opened condition.!!!
                      After this incident I discussed with my engineer friends, they told me a shocking story.
                      Actually this Tray motor is a Sealed combination of gear and a DC motor, any service engineer is not authorized to open this part, some times the engineer bring some old part from second hand market and fix to warranty machines !! and they will sell the original parts from IFB.
                      And the engineers simply tells to poor customers that, some plastic parts will not cover warranty so customer should pay some amount even if it is under warranty.!!

                      Today 19 April 2010 I contacted again Bangalore service centre and talked to Mr.Niranjan he gave his Manager (Mr.Michel) Number ([protected]) and ask me to contact him.!!!

                      Anyway I am going to contact him. and I am planning to continue this writings..

                      I got Amc executed in feb 10 but after repeated calls they turned one day but told that this machine can be repaired at there place not here . After that 2 months has been passed but no body has turned to take w.machine . Now i think Is IFB company Does exist because There Complaint Numbers Either changed or faulty . There website is too busy or not available , Now I Name This Company as INDIAN FAKE BUSINESS company.
                      I bought a Microwave oven Last August. Some problem developed even before 1 year. It took one month for me to get it repaired. Senior Technician at Alwaye Service Center has taken my oven to their service center and returned saying that the problem was due to an insect. I am an Electronics Engineer and I wonder what a system was designed. Within one after returned same problem repeated and against my complaint no one has even looked at it even after 2 and half weeks. what a nasty service. Do IFB expect us to buy these expensive equipments and keep it in the show case.?????????
                      I thought this will be of a relief for a family where both husband and wife works. However, in last 2 months it was worse. really your service is worst. No response and no responsibility.

                      I bought IFB Microwave 2 years back from kuruvithadom agencies muvattupuzha,ernakulam kerala,. In September'08 it became non operational. I called up customer care and they gave me some ticket number twice during last 6 months. within 2 years,but somebody from the service point called me and the person is already sent for the service and am waiting for him for the last 3 days without moving from my home nad was totally messup with my daily routine ,i got the call from [protected],daily and iformed the custservice exe is on tghe way but .......??????? I am at the way where neither I get it repaired nor sell it off as there is no one to buy it. In short, IFB is not at all a reliable brand to use. i hope somebody will take care and do the things asap

                      PLEASE DO N'T PURCHASE IFB- 20SCI MODEL MICROWAVE OVEN.

                      I purchased above-said model serial number 2547 on 20/10/2006 from Jindal Electronics, Mahavir Enclave, Palam, New Delhi. Within 2-3 months, the originally came out. On my third compliant (8th month), engineer took my oven to service centre to change inner body because of corrosion. Serviceability did not last for even 10 days. Again and again I compliant for oven malfunctioning. Servicing Engineer itself commented that this model is FAILURE. We face lot of difficulty in this model.

                      When I heard this sentence, twice I wrote email compliant to Kolkata registered office to change my oven. But nobody has responded.

                      Malfunctioning-complianting-servicing was prolonged. We were frustrated with Microwave (so called convection model). But my conscious didn't allow to resale or give it to KABHADI wala. So I took AMC for two years by paying Rs. 1668/- on 09/10/2008 AMC No. 90880.

                      We were benefited with this AMC that we did not pay on every compliant. But Malfunctioning-complianting-servicing was continued.

                      Finally in the month of December 2009, we have shifted to Chennai and brought this unserviceable IFB Model 20SC1 Microwave oven with us. Now it is a show-piece in our kitchen.

                      Thanks to IFB to sell this model and provide job to servicing engineers.

                      I have purchase Oven in Chennai vasanth and co on Jul2010 then i was facing Touch pad problem i register the complaint. service person came for service after one month he replaced the touch pad after 2 days that is also not working. i hope you would take necessary action.

                      we purchased IFB microwave from Surindra visions, Chandigarh on[protected] but didnot get our rice cooker (under scheme) till date[protected] which was promised to be given within 10 days. if we asked them for it, their reply is its not being supplied by the company itself. the payment has been made for the rice cooker.

                      I have a IFB Grill microwave. It was not working so, i called their service people through their customer care.They came and said that megnatron(is a part of it) is not working, and they asked us to by a megnatron from them. we agreed, and next day they came with a new megnatron and once they fit it in the microwave it got burst. and they told us that the transfomer got damaged as the megnatron they attached is not the right one. then they fled.
                      After repeated call they told us that now total amout cost us is more than the microwavr cost.

                      IFB/ Microwave Over — Very poor customer Service-do not buy

                      My suggestion: DO NOT BUY IFB PRODUCTS

                      My newly bought microwave stopped working within one and a half months! I registered the complaint and requested service call immediately (Complain number: 6739033, Cust. ID: 2817814).

                      Inspite of call center person assuring that I'll get call from service person within 24 hours I had to call back after 2 days to remind the service! Then thankfully a service person came and confirmed that it is not working because some IFB part failed and need to get that from store room. He mentioned this part collection can take 1 day to max 6 days depending on availability in the store room.

                      Alas!!!!! Shockingly I did not receive any call from IFB side after that day till now (a month passed). I call the customer care number almost everyday now but nothing more I've heard than that the reminder will be forwarded and take a phone number to inquire more. Everytime I called got different numbers and most of them doesn't really helpful because nobody picks up the phone.

                      Conclusion:
                      1. IFB doesn't bother to inform me(N I know it is not just me) that the part's can take more time to arrive.
                      2. IFB microwave has just became a showpiece at my place(which I show to people as worst one I have in my house) and my warranty days are just passing without using it.
                      3. Customer care is worthless, they don't have any power to do, they cant even give official email ids or transfer the call to any senior person!
                      4. Once a item is bought IFB doesn't bother about their customers which makes it the worst company in the competitive market!
                      5. IFB is cheating on customers giving fake assurance!
                      6. Unexpectedly unprofessional behavior received from IFB.
                      After purchasing withen one year mw stop working after many call mistry (they called him engineer) comes .
                      In the mean time guarantee period expired, he told that the magnet will replaced which is cost about the half of the cost of the microwave.
                      After some time the glass plate of mw was broken. I contact service centre at moradabad after one month a person come with plate costing Rs.750/- which is beyond imagination and he also demand Rs 250/- as service charge without any service in mw..After he returns I saw that the glass plate was over size.

                      ifb microwaves — extremely poor careless customer service

                      Hi
                      I would like to bring to the attention of higher authorities of IFB Microwaves, the complete negligence to handle the customer complaints for over 2 months (complaint number 7090123) I had registered a complaint that the microwave is not working and had technician coming in next day to check. Upon checking he confirmed that the Magnetron is spoit and required replacement, which is covered under 3 year warranty. I was promised of service the next day and am still waiting for that I have called to follow up over 50 times only to increase my phone bill.
                      Every time we are given multilple numers of local call centre, local service centre, supervisor, manager etc, but nobody assists in getting this to a resolution. On request to speak to supervisor, there is a standard response that they are on another call and will call back, but never receive the call and once when i insisted and stayed online to speak to the supervisor i was transfered to a number which as expected no one picked up and i finally had to hang up. I even had people shout at me over the phone that they cant do anything and i should understand that my compliant ticket is still open.

                      It appears the service centre is waiting for the warranty to expire to service and charge the clients.
                      My IFB 23SC1 model developed some problem some 6 months back. I complained to the customer care & they decline to register the complaint stating the PIN code (642117) where I live is not in there list. Then I had send the microwave oven to a service center & they said that to repair this will cost more than Rs 5000, hence its worthwhile to go for a new one & they have some buy back policy. When contacted the IFB center in Coimbatore they said that they do not have any buy back offer for microwave ovens.Now I have decided to go for some other good brand due to this bad experience. Very sorry to note that a well reputed company like IFB is dealing with their customers in such irresponsible manner.

                      I, V S Jamwal agree to the above regarding horrible service being offered by the IFB for repair of Mic Wave oven at their service center situated at Dharamshala of Disstt. Kangra of Himachal Pradesh. It is complete one month today i.e. on 6th Dec after I offered my MW oven for repair. I was told that they shall be reverting back within three days about the status of my oven but after waiting for about 15 days I contacted myself on phone but the status of my oven was the same and i was given reason regarding non availability of some part and agreed to convey me within two days after repair. But today after complete one month when I rang again to about my oven firstly I was greeted by the phone attendent(she) with the remarks that "Hamein Nahein Pata Hamare Paas bahut se ovens aate hain" but later she asked me to wait for few minutes and she will ring me up to convey the status. But now it is one hr since I talked to her but nothing has been conveyed to me so far. I am feeling cheated and now onward always guide my known persons that not to buy IFB products in future.
                      i agree with all those who say ifb service is not only bad but worst. i gifted an oven to my wife on 26/9/09 as a wedding day gift. finally it stopped working in 11/11. on a complaint, an engnr by name sridhar visited promply and convinced me to pay rs.1300/- for AMC WHICH I PAYED THRO CHEQUE. then my ordeal with ifb has started..lodged a complaint on 12/12. have already spent more than 100 rupees calling these ppl... and that sridhar who promised action within 24 hrs has switched off his mobile. after some more days i think i will treat the oven as scrap...

                        I have purchased this machine just 8 months back. It has just one issue that it vibrates a lot during spinning. At times we have to hold it tight when the machine is spinning. We have made the required complaints to the company on customer care as well as to the person from where we have bought it. Despite the efforts and time we have spent for the same the problem has still not been solved. As per the company officials the machines has the vibration problem because it is not loaded properly or it is under loaded than the capacity of the machine. We have tried all the ways as per the instruction given in the manual. The problem still persists.

                          My IFB washing machine is under AMC and I am in chennai.In spite of the repeated request to the help line no service persons are attending the machine,The manager at Chennai is not even attending the calls.I am not able to under stand the reasons for this casual attitude.No higher officials telephone numbers are available for the redresal....

                          Poor service quality

                          In spite of lodging several complaints, company was unable to repair the machine properly. The warranty period is not yet expired. Ill response from the service centre today. Did not send a service personnel although commited to do so at 10 am and compelling me to take leave from my ofice. No one cares for the customer. No number of the higher officials are available anywhere. Demending immediate redressal....

                          NON ATTENDING COMPLAINT IN WARRANTY PERIOD

                          The unserviceble washing machine has not been repaired since 22 Jan 2008, (complaint no 1496621).
                          The call to Mr Dutta , their manager at Pune has also not evoked any respose. We are forced to wash clothes by hand in this winter season since last 3 weeks.

                          I purchased the washing machine in November 2007 at NEXT show room Thiruvallur. But till date no one has attended for the initial orientation demo making me wonder how you will take care of after sales service if the demo is itself taking such a long time. I would like to know the reason for this no-show while i look forward to your early attendance. NEXT show room's Call reg. no.1503843....

                          Service below Standard

                          I had purchased IFB-Eleena washing Machine about one and half years ago. The motor of the machine gave away and the service engineer sent by the Company replaced it. However, the machine did not work and I complained again about it. No body attends to teh Machine though it has been over two months. It is a harassing experience.

                          My latest complaint no.is 1464634. I would never ever purchase a IFB Product nor suggest anyone to...

                          Repair of Microwave under Warranty

                          We had purchased a 30L Microwave + Grill + Convection from IFB in early 2007. The microwave stopped working in Oct 2007 and was repaired.

                          Again the Microwave has stopped working in Dec 2007. A complaint was registered with IFB (Complaint No. 1382426) on 9 Dec 07 but as yet the microwave is not repaired by IFB.

                          This is very poor service from such a renowned brand in India.

                          Pleas do not purchase any thing from Home 18, it's a big unproffessional and unmanaged online shopping which does not delever the order products. Only god nows when you can get a product ... After 15 minutes I noticed a camcorder also so I thought why not to cancel the previous order & to book camcorder as it sounds me more cost effective.                           It will be good for you remain away from IFB Ovens sold in India and Nepali Markets. This is because they are not according to standard and quality. It takes very long time to cook any food in comparision to any other international product. Therefore it is good not to buy any IFB ovens. The company is just cheating the customers and their pocket. Last week I bought one 25SC2 model oven and now suffering. It is wasting my time, electricity and etc.
                          I am copletely agree with the complaint.
                          I also offer Rebook Combo and the product which Home18 has provided are different than one which they have shows in addvertisment.

                          My polite appeal for you, please do not done a same mistake again and do not done any shopping with Home18
