We bought a ifb washing machine on 29th january 2019 from croma, as it was highly recommended by croma person. We took a 5 years warranty too.
On 18th april, 2019, the machine just stopped working, we called up ifb customer care, the guy came over next day and said the magnetic valve is not functioning and needs to be replaced. Since then, i have been calling the customer care, the engineer everyday, but the answer given is that the part is not available. Till date, we are suffering, who is at loss? Company sold their product, croma got it's share, and we, despite spending nearly rs.22, 000 on a new brand machine, are suffering.
The engineer mentioned that till date he has never come across faulty magnetic valve. This means the machine was faulty to begin with.
The service centre doesn't even bother to call up and let us know the status of our complaint. They are pathetic.
If a brand new machine requires repair so soon, we would have rather repaired our old machine and used it and not spent on a new machine. The company has to replace our machine, then what's the use of so called 5 years warranty.
It was the worst decision of our lives that we bought a ifb washing machine - a bad, faulty product, and pathetic service, nothing is good about ifb, cheaters!
