IFFCO Tokio General Insurance — Health insurance claim | |||||
Sir, My name is rakesh surendra nath & i am residing in mumbai. During july 2016 i was suffering from fever july 2016 hence i had visited my family dr. Dinesh shah. He suggested me to do blood test as i was having shivering & having fever in evening since 3 /4 days. After blood test it was clear that i am suffering from jaundice & for further treatment he suggest me to get admitted in life line hospital in malad (West). I was admitted on 13/07/2016 & was discharged on 16/07/2016. While on the bed i had informed in customer care number of iffco tokio insurance of being admitted for further treatment. I was not aware that it was not cashless hospital for iffco tokio. Since 16/07/2016 i am following up with them for my claim. Insurance examiner from iffco tokkio visited my home and took necessary documents and again 3rd party insurance examiner visited my home for the same procedure. Till date the procedure is being continued. Its been almost 5 months after claiming my health insurance. My health insurance no. Is 52610710 & paitent's name is rakesh surendra nath. Today when i enquired at iffco tokio insurance corporate office in delhi (Iffco tokio) told me that it is pending as doctor incharge did not support. There was no such intimations to either me nor the hospital & infact the person who answered my call (Iffco tokio) was ok with me for filing consumer complaint as i think they dont have fear about that. I have supported insurance company as & when required took their verification executive at hospital for required documents. Now they are finding problems just to evade my claim.
