Hello, I own a Volkswagen Polo, DL8CY2424. A few days back when I was driving to my home and was taking a turn at Mamura Chowk in Sector 62 Noida a loading auto applied a sudden break which was moving ahead of me, to avoid the accident I moved my vehicle to right side but there was a pack-man cart coming wrong way due to this my car hit the auto as well as it got a big scratch from front door to the rear quarter panel on the car. Also the cart has given a big dent below the fuel cap. Now when I registered the claim with Iffco tokio as I have a complete cover policy (bumper to Bumper) with the claim ID 1-CNA7XXV, the surveyor came and analysed the car and has taken the pictures. They asked for the pre-inspection report which I have provided them with the help of the person through which I have purchased the policy. The pre-inspection report "as per the report" shows that there is a scratch mentioned on the rear door, which by looking at the pictures is very minor and can be ignorable. Also there was a scratch on the front bumper as per the pre-inspection photograph which can be ignorable. When asked the surveyor that they should provide the bumper as it got damaged, they initially denied and later when I argued with them they said that they will provide the bumper but I have to pay for the paint For the rear door and the quarter panel, the surveyor is telling me again and again that the part was damaged previously and they can not provide the claim. Now if the part was damaged it should have been written in the report, which is not. Secondly for a moment I understand there is a scratch on the rear door which is mentioned in report but the rear quarter panel and the front bumper is not mentioned. So I argued with the surveyor and their manager that this is not justified the rear door is having a very minor scratch which was ignorable for me. Now when the car met with the accident the damage happened is very big so they should provide the claim for it. The surveyor and manager has denied for that and they are not agreeing on this part and are not providing me the complete claim for my car. Please look into the pictures of the car which are attached. I am really very very disappointed by this insurance company as the reason they provided is not justified. Please look into the case.
