Dear Sir/Madam,
I would like to lodge a formal complaint regarding the incorrect delivery status of my Speed Post consignment ED[protected]IN.
As per the service commitment, the Speed Post article was supposed to be delivered to me by 13th December. On 13 December 2025 at 19:50:51, I received an SMS stating:
“Delivery attempt for SP_INLAND_DOC No: ED[protected]IN is Successful”
However, the consignment was not handed over to me, nor was it received by any authorized person on my behalf. Despite this, the India Post tracking portal has been updated showing the item as “Delivered”, which is completely incorrect.
I have attached a screenshot of the tracking status for your reference.
It is highly concerning that a delivery confirmation message was sent and the portal was updated without actual physical handover of the document. This Speed Post contained very important documents, and such negligence causes serious inconvenience and potential risk.
I request you to:
Immediately investigate this matter with the concerned delivery office and postman.
Locate and deliver the consignment to me at the earliest.
Provide a written clarification on how a delivery status was marked successful without delivery.
I expect a prompt resolution, failing which I will be compelled to escalate the matter to higher authorities.
