India Post — Delay in Registered Parcel India Post

I have booked my parcel on 20th October and its has been already dispatched from Chennai PH on 21st October. But the thing is after that there is no tracker updation and it's not delivered also. If I call India Post office bangalore no one is picking up my call. And also no proper response from customer care also. It's very urgent one has to be delivered very early. Now am thinking that I should have gone by other private parcel services I can get easy tracking as well as proper response. please do the needful.
