Respected Sir/Madam,
I hereby submit this formal complaint to bring to your immediate notice a grave incident involving a postal delivery employee assigned to deliver my consignment.
On the date of delivery, the concerned delivery boy unlawfully removed (stole) several items from the parcel and deliberately damaged the remaining contents. When I approached him to seek clarification and recovery of our stolen and damaged items, he used obscene, abusive, and slang language, thereby engaging in misconduct, harassment, and intimidation.
The said acts constitute criminal breach of trust, theft, misappropriation of goods, and gross misconduct, resulting in substantial financial loss, mental agony, and inconvenience to me. Such conduct is in clear violation of the rules, regulations, and service obligations of the Department of Posts.
In view of the above, I hereby request the competent authority to:
Initiate an immediate inquiry and disciplinary proceedings against the concerned delivery personnel
Fix accountability and take strict departmental action as per applicable rules
Recover or compensate the value of the stolen and damaged items without further delay
Provide a written response and resolution within a reasonable time frame
Kindly treat this matter as urgent and serious, failing which I shall be constrained to initiate appropriate legal proceedings, including lodging a police complaint and seeking remedies under applicable laws, at your risk as to costs and consequences.
