India Post — Item on hold for over one week | |||
International package was sent from Singapore on 7th Aug 2021. It cleared customs and has been stuck in Faridabad NIT HO since 13th August. Tracking details claims that delivery was 'attempted' on 18th August but failed because 'door was locked'. This is false information since we have CCTV infront of our home proves no one came to our home and there is a guard to receive packages even though someone was at home all day. This is a recurring problem with India Post that I have faced before. (Google reviews for India Post Faridabad NIT HO will also prove that this is the exact same problem faced by numerous other customers) It falsely uses 'door locked' as an excuse when a delivery attempt was not even made. For a previous package, it was updated on the app 4 times under the pretence of 'door locked' before the delivery was actually made. This is the longest India Post has retained the package without even attempting delivery. There is no contact number that works and even the customer care number for India Post is unable to connect with the office or provide a working number. It is impossible to get in touch with the office without physically visiting the location. I have been waiting for this package since 13th August and am unable to get any information on the same.
