India Post — parcel not delivered, wrong tracking information on website

A registered parcel was sent to me which has not yet been delivered by india post. The tracking number is rb[protected]sg. India post website shows it has been delivered but it is not. The staff at post office say that they have not received any such consignment. Something similar happened before with a parcel having tracking number rb[protected]sg. India post website declared it delivered about one day before i received the parcel. Anyway, it means that they display wrong information on tracking numbers of parcels.
