India Post — Passport delivering

Complaint regarding the delivery of my passport, sent through Speed Post under Article Number PP[protected].

The postman attempted delivery at my home, but I was not available at that moment. Instead of arranging a second delivery attempt, he informed me that I must pick up the passport from the post office. This is causing me great difficulty because my job timings are 9 AM to 8 PM, and I am unable to visit the post office during working hours.

As per passport delivery guidelines, passports must be delivered at the recipient’s address after verifying identity, and should not be redirected for pickup unless under exceptional circumstances. I expected at least a call or a second delivery attempt.

I request you to kindly arrange re-delivery at my home address at the earliest.
