[Resolved]  India Post — Speed post - parcel delivery status marked as delivered but parcel has not been physically delivered.

Tracking ID: EM[protected]IN

The parcel was booked in Mumbai (400064) on 18-Sep-2021 for Doorvaninagar S.O (PIN 560016). The parcel was marked as delivered on 20-Sep-2021 (see attached scrnsht), however the recipient has not physically received the delivery. It has been falsely marked as delivered by Post man SURESH BR (Beat No: B4) We checked the google reviews for this Doorvaninagar S.O and lot of consumers have stated that they have had issues with the Post office for wrongly marking the parcels as delivered and expecting the consumer to come to the post office for collecting the parcel.
We used speed post as we wanted the parcel to be delivered before 22-Sept; it arrived at the final delivery location on 20-Sep but the pot office has not yet actually delivered it to the receiver.

Please deliver the parcel as soon as possible.

Receiver had to go and collect the SPEED POST parcel from the post office. The reason that the post man did not deliver is that on that day it was to be delivered, it was raining heavily and so he marked it as delivered 'by mistake'. Invalid reason given by the post man who just seems lazy to deliver the parcel. Due to a few personnel like him Indian Post gets a bad name and citizens refrain from using the government postal service (which is why the post might be running in loss)
India Post customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

My medicine is dispatched from Delhi RS TMO from 21/ 06/ 2023 since then no update on tracking, the medicine has to reach me very urgent, concerned authorities kindly look into the matter and update tracking and let me get my medicine on time my consignment no is EU[protected]IN
