Lady followed up with me and demanded i make a donation for this burnt kid manvi and when i refused as i already did my research and found this to be a scam.. She started yelling and i constantly asked her to keep her voice down but she did not.. Instead she got even more louder. I had to disc the call as i did not want to stoop down to this scammers level and blocked her. Received the call from this number[protected].

I have received the call today (11th June, 2018) for the same case Manvi kumari, the same case which was raised the complaint in 1st week of May 2018.
When I visit the site provided by the Volunteer, the document says the incident happen on 24th May, 2018 and admitted on 1st June, 2018.
I am not sure what to believe on this. I received the message as well saying help to save the baby. When we listen to volunteer conversation, it looks like really need of money and when i check the case detail, the cost is only 320000/-. So not sure what to do in this?

I got a call frequently from some girls, regarding some donations..since I was in travel I wasn't able to talk them, I asked her to call later. Again after some days I got a call ..since I was not comfortable with language I asked her to communicate with english.so she given the call to one guy . He initially ask me to open the website www.indianrehabcenter.org and asked to check cases .once I opened am able to see some burn picture of baby ..seems to be severely injured. After checking that pic .he started insisting to donate immediately. I asked him, now I was in between my work . I will be checking later. After my response, immediately he started to speak violently.. he started to blabber some thing in hindi which I was not able to understand and started is using some abusive words and disconnected.After seeing all those complaint I came to I have wasted my time in speaking with some fake and untrustful people. It was totally weired on coming across this people. They are using some names of some infant to earn money.

I just got two call from a guy named rahul saying from india rehab center.
Date: (1-june-2018)
Number: [protected] (Rahul (Calls himself a student)

Call 1: time: 19:02 - 36 seconds (Here i very politely said i cannot make any donations and disconnected the call.)

Call2: time: 19:03- 52 minuts

Below is how the conversation went:

The guy even knew my name, number and also in which city i live.
I told him that my number is a registered dnd number and when i asked him how he got my number he gave me from relief india trust and a couple of other ngo names.
(In the past i fell for this relief india trust and donated but never authorized them to share my details)

This guy called me asking to donate some money to save the life of a brunt baby and suffering for bubble and she needed an injection-etc etc...

But when i told him that i will not be able to donate, then he started all sorts of ways.
1. He started emotional intimidation
A. If this happened to your own child? (When i got offended) then,
B. If someone from your family... (When i got angry and asked him why would you want to bring my family in to this... Then,
C. I know you must be a very nice person.. It is just rs.1000/- etc etc.

When i suggested him to contact local people there in noida where they people can come in person and help you.

2. He used the exact words: kya aap hume bikhari ke tarah road pe jake sabko mangenge kya? (Do you think we are beggars to go on road ask everyone?)

3. When i was still not yielding to his intimidation, he brought in go "bhawan sabko dekhta hai"

At this point i was really upset and told him not to wast my time: you will be surprised what he said.

4. "i did not wast your time brother, you have wasted that girls time. Let her die. Aap ko kya farakh padatha hai?"

And then started talking very aggressively and when i disconnected the call he sent me an sms which is attached.

I wounder when there are so many complaints on this organization how is the website still running?

These guys are fraud... I have got a call from the above number on 01.06.2018 asking to donate some money for save the life of brunt baby and suffering for bubble disease after burnt. When i told them i am not interested in donation. He started abusing me... What will you do if it happens to with you. And says"bhawan sabko dekhta hai" etc. Etc. The volunteers of india rehab centre mostly aggressively talking with people and forcing for visit the site

I received a fraud call from someone called karan claiming that they are from india rehab centre and gave the address as indiarehabcentre.org and got a call from [protected] and [protected]. They kept on forcing me to open the website and make the payment. I went online and checked that they have put pictures of three burnt babies and they asked me to make the payment for baby manavi. They asked me to make a minimum contribution of rs. 1000. When i asked them some time, they tried to force me to at least tell me how much i will be contributing. I got a call 4 times later and that is when i had my doubts and found that so many people have already complained about it. I got a call again to check if i had made the payment. When i confronted him that they are trying to cheat and i saw that on consumer complaints he started claiming that people are simply putting these things on google and please talk to the baby's parents and the hospital. I had to simple disconnect the call after that and haven't received any calls from them after which.

Please make sure that some action is taken against this because i can see that so many people have complained about it.

The same incident happened with me and the way the representative was talking to me that we not at all acceptable. I warned him of his behavior and asked him as why he is getting so aggressive in terms of donation. This is not the way an NGO operates and the representative was completely doing emotional blackmail stating that i shall be responsible for her death. I think this is not done and i cant become a scapegoat. While my emotion came up for the child and the ask and while i googled India rehab centre and its consumer complaints my doubt now has turned to an reality as these guys are not genuine and i have a change of mind now.

These guys are fraud... Got a call from the above number asking to donate some money. When i informed them i am not interested and i have got commitments he started abusing me... What will you do if it happens to your mother and sister.

His agenda was not saving the child... His only agenda was to register me to his site and make me donate rs 10000.

I got a call & then what's up for making a donation for a 2 year old burnt child. I told the operator to give me sometime to check the details, authenticity of documents and then revert. Operator started forcing me to donate right away and if i don't d it child will die and same thing will happen for my family. This was really absurd as person asking for donations shouldn't speak like that. I called at the contact no at india rehab center site and no is not valid.

I even told her that i'll call hospital and provide all necessary help to that she started cursing me,,... I hung up and blocked the number. Got call in a span of 10 mins from 4-5 different numbers.

I got a call from one volunteer and the message is like this:

We request you to take 5 minutes and go thru the case and come forward generously to support the treatment of Manvi. She is from a very poor family and despite all efforts, the parents are not able to afford the cost of treatment for their daughter.

· Baby Manvi is suffering from Accidental Thermal Burns

· She is getting treated at the Burn & Truma Research Center Hospital.

· She has been admitted for corrective surgery and Treatment.

· The total cost of the remaining treatment is approximately Rs. 3, 20, 000 Only (Three Lac Twenty Thousand Only).

Next day I got call from one more volunteer, used abusive messages to communicate.

The messages have been attached.

I got a call from [protected] stating that he is representative from indiarehabcentre. He sent me message with online website url and process for donation. When i searched online i found its fraud. So i ignored. But that person keeps on messaging me. Then i asked him to stop messaging me as its fraud then he started replying me saying that i dont have humanity, god will not forgive me etc.,

Please take action on them.

Just received a call from [protected], claiming to be india rehab centre org volunteers... initially the speaker was a girl...she asked me to open and browse through some site indiarehabcentre.org for a girl Manvi where in this small kid had suffered burn injuries and was requiring an immediate treatment worth 3.5 lakhs. After some while the call was transferred to a male volunteer named Daniel, who later asked me to go and make payments on call... they insisted to be on call while doing all sorts of emotional blackmailing...while I was browsing through the site I decided to google more about this NGO /org and found few complaints on consumer complaints...the story was exactly similar to what this guy was asking me to do..
Immediately I disconnected the call.and blocked the mentioned number... it's pretty hard to know nowadays whether the call is a genuine or not... but one thing I can be certain of is that the website was actually not secured, though there was an option to pay via netbanking, the site was not having even https valid certificate...this doubts the genuinty of the site itself.

Same case happened with me yesterday. Now i am shocked to check these messages from the month of march. Same cases, same child names, same pictures... Oh my GOD...these guys are inhuman...they are collecting money in name of these innocent child...
I n the month of march also, the child's condition was same and in May also. I received the call...and i said i will revert tomorrow after checking the details.. i tried the no.. same... switched off... no incoming on that number..but that guy named Manish...was continuously sending watsapp number from that message... and in just 24 hrs... he sent me attached images... Beware of these guys... please take some action... because of these acts, a genuine case is deprived of its need.

This is second time i am veing contacted by this ngo (giggle, india rehab cetre) regardibg donation for this little boy, who is burnt. They kept calling me again and again blackmailing me emotionally about how i should help the poor child. They send me some disturbing images on a burnt baby named" virat "who needed 5 injections wroth rs1002 each. And alot of documents ragrading it. When i searched on the internet, i got to know about people being frauded using similar group of people. So beware .
When i replied tge woman saying " i know its a scam, and i[censored] ppl contacted me again ill go to police . She dint reply back just said "ok".

Got a call at from [protected] at 13:47 and a girl was on the other side asking for donation. I said i am busy and hung up. At 13:48 i got a sms from the same number saying "shame on you", to which i replied "shame on you guys". On that, i got a reply "shut up".
Earlier also i have been getting calls like this.
Requesting you to kindly take action action the same and save people like us from such harassment.

I got a call from a volunteer named krishnamoorthy for donation for baby virat. He sounded desperate and quite persistent that i make the donation now as time was running out.

I went to their website and checked the child details and it seemed to be in order. I donated inr 3000 post which i got a call next morning to contribute more money as i was the only one who had come forward to help the child. He said that some 25, 000 more were needed and i 'must' come forward and help the child as he needed urgent surgery. He was quite pushy and made me feel guilty if i don't contribute.

Since prima facie the website looks credible, not sure how to go about checking whether these people are genuine or not.

If these people are actually fake then why nobody has taken notice so far and their volunteers are so boldly calling and texting us multiple times in a day till you block their number.

Just got a missed call from [protected]. When i returned the call, a person claimed to be representing as a volunteer for india rehab, an ngo, soliciting donation for treatment of a baby girl, suffering due to burn injuries. The whole conversation lead me to believe that this’s a sham. No ngo solicits for funds in this manner. I’ve received such on earlier occasions too from the same organisation.

I don't know how they get my phone number. But i'm sure they would have got illegally.
I have been receiving many calls in the name of donations.
I got a call from indian rehab center. When i told i'm not interested and suspecting that it's a fake and i don't have time to verify this, the person started being very rude and called me not human and animal.

Someone called and introduced himself as a volunteer for the ngo (India rehab centre) and asked me to donate rs.1002 for an injection to the child's treatment. He also sent me the link of their website to crosscheck of reality. I told him i donate once satisfied. And they started to call me frequently and told me to make payment immediately. (Do you think that we had surplus money we simply sitting in front of the computer waiting for such calls).
They are making people to get irritated instead to be donated. The conduct/communication of their very bad as of being an ngo. Don't spoil the people trust.

Yesterday 29/3/18, i got a call from a girl called mani claiming to be from india rehab centre. She started by telling me about a girl ritika with 3rd degree burns and needing donation. During the course of our conversation she changed the child from ritika to virat without even realizing!

All the while she was pushing me to do online payment immediately of rs. 25000 after sending me some gruesome photos of kids with burns!

When i started asking about their office details... She started with dialogues like"you will be responsible if he dies" etc etc... Full emotional blackmail!
When i refused to pay, out came all abuses! The hospital - burn and trauma centre noida they send the link of, is also fraud - i called up the no. They couldn't answer anything properly.

Please beware of such fraudsters. They take advantage of our kindness and emotions. Because of such pathetic individuals, people like us who genuinely want to help, dont want to trust anyone.
This seems to be a big scam cause i can see here that similar calls have been made to quite a number of people this month!

Be aware and don't get fooled by these frauds!
