India Rehab Centre — fraud ngo fooling people

Any one people have which receive any reply from consumer complaint board. That we will take any action against this NGO. I think no one and calling process continue day by day through India Rehab Center I don't know it's Real or [censored]e. I donated only 100 RS. It amount not measure for me.

I got a similar call on 3rd of April. The volunteer told her name as Sheta Yadav and tried to inform me about a 1.5 years old girl Ritika. I followed her instructions and opened the web page of India Rehab Centre via NGO Darpan page, where I could see the picture of the child and two more burnt kids. She was insisting me to pay immediately while she was hanging on the phone, that raised doubt about her. So while she was still online I searched for India Rehab Centre, I could not find any credible source of information and I found this complaint of Radhika Kamdar on Consumer Complaints page, so I blocked her call in response to which she messaged me, "Ths is really not expecting from you" and I blocked her message as well. With so many kinds of scammers and fraudulent people, it has become really hard to trust any random person. I was also not sure from where she got my number with my name, she told me that she got my number as a reference from some college/university where she had volunteered with different programs even though I have never been part of any such activity for my name to be referenced. I urge people to be vigilant with such kind of bluffs. Be aware be safe.

I got a similar call today from a brother sister duo - Shalini and Rahul.

The experience was just the same. Emotional blackmail, sobbing on the phone coz they couldn't bear the plight of the poor girl child, saying ridiculous things like - you pay the money for the treatment now, and once I start working I will pay you back!!

There were a lot of things that tipped me off they they were not legit, and I would list them all here but I think this would just make them work of these to sound more genuine next time..

About the Call I received from WWW.indiarehabcentre.org It is a complete fake website. The cause they are mentioning in the Telephonic conversation was not verifiable through website. Regarding 80c exemption certificate. Some ### Registered an NGO and got exemption from INCOME tax department. They are collecting funds and enjoying in the name of NGO. This is old business running for several years. This guy made it online.

This website really helped me. I also got the same call for patient name "VIRAT". I called to the hospital number also (Bilaspur) - Strange to know that such a big hospital without a landline number.

The way the person answered the call .. caused initial doubt to me.

The lady has forced me in such a way that I should transfer the amount immediately within seconds, which created lot of doubts to me.

Luckily I took a review and I got very useful information from many of you. So, immediately I stopped.

I also got call from http://www.indiarehabcentre.org/ on Apr 17 from a lady explaining serious burn child and expenses will cost 82000. To make me relay on her she made me to open https://ngodarpan.gov.in/ website and search for to have the India rehab centre. from there she asked me to open http://www.indiarehabcentre.org/ and showed the pictures of burn child. I had a doubt on this and searched on net regarding this NGO and came to know this is FAKE. I have cut the call and didn't attended the call they SMS me with threatening and emotional blackmail, which is not fair and made me 100% sure for FAKE cause and collecting money in the name of children.
They have all the names and mail id's as well.

If you want to support to this please go in person and get the receipt and make sure that the money will help the needed.

No.. This is not at all fake. There are three children who are admitted Virat Singh, Abu Hanjala (has been discharged now) and Ritika Yadav. I called at the Burnt and Trauma Centre and they are admitted. The Centre has tie up with 5 NGOs.

First of all, thank you for posting it here. Coz i saved my money without funding them. I got the same call one month back asking for donations. The person was sobbing and was forcing me to transfer the money. I told them to mail me the details. I checked them and was not convinced. Later today i got a call from the same so called NGO. He was forcing me and i said I am not interested. Then he said its a part of humanity and all which actually made me check on google regarding this NGO. Finally i saw this post here. Thank you. I am sure that they have already made lakhs blackmailing people in the name of KARMA and all other nonsenses. But who will put an end to fake things like these? Where are we supposed to complain? I dont have any idea, anyway i am telling all the people i know about this fake thing. At least some will find it helpful.

This is fraud, they are calling and doing emotional blackmail even after donated 1K they were asking 12k and doing emotional blackmai and calling on and on and no can do this if this is genuine NGO.

Please do not fall into this trap. And raise police complain to bann such fraud.

Me too received call on April 21st for the same boy in bilaspur. After seeing website got to know the truth. If you really want to donate, you can find the people with needs around your streets or friends or relatives or servants etc... Go a head and help them who are near to your hand rather than trusting any strangers...

I also received call today while I was in urgent meeting.
I donated 1000 rs out of mercy but now I am not sure rather I did right thing or not

I have received call today, Same thing happened to me . When i asked details and which state it registered and some basic information . She became furious and saying same stupid emotional black mailing movie dialogues .

This 100% " FAKE" .
I have helped some needy on different NGOs . Anyone can have website by spending 2k, its not that expensive .
I tried to reach the number mentioned in website[protected] and call i got call (+91-[protected])from both are not reachable .

Please be aware of Fraudsters .

I too received a call yesterday, When I refused they had called me messaged me today stating that the kid is vomiting blood. When I dropped them a message telling that I will register a police complaint immediately I got a call from another number saying that they will remove my number from their list. I was a little furious on the guy who had called this morning that why they are forcing me to make some donations when I'm not willing to, he was abusive in turn. He told me, go ahead and make a police complaint. He was abusive in Hindi (which I did not understand) and cut his call. He again called me telling that how dare I was to cut his call? He even messaged telling me to go to school and learn manners. I blocked his number.

With all these, I called tried calling the India rehab center landline number to cross check about these anonymous calls. As soon as the person picked up call he was aware of his volunteers calling me, I told me I should not be receiving a call again. He tried convincing me stating that the child has 75% (a ridiculous lie) burns with this I was astonished because yesterday they had told it was 30%.

People, please be aware!

The same thing happened to me today. When I tried to open the website informed by the person who called me(the india rehab centre), the very first suggestions, I found on search results was that it's a fake NGO and advised me not to fall trap in to their emotional blackmailing. In fact, I'm receiving so many such calls in the recent past and I don't even reside in Delhi. I wonder how these buggers could get my contact details and are trying to be-fool people. There should be some strict enforcement against the rising number of such kind of fraudsters, who with their innovative way of deceiving people are resorting to open looting of naive people.

Yesterday I received such calls from Dinesh, they are fake I am submitting 2 numbers beware they starting sending emotional messages and even said "I will send the dead body to you house just wait and watch". How ### they are just imagine !!

I have received similar call from Mani [protected]. They are kind of forcing me to do pay money for a girl child name:Manvi of similar 3rd degree burn case. Different ppl are talking from the same no. I dont know whether they are real???

I too received the call from [protected] on 9 th May 2018 - for the kid Manvi Kumari(Patient name). volunteer name is Shwetha Yadav. Not sure whether this is true or not.

This my second time getting such call. 3 months back(Volunteer name: Alishajaya-[protected]) also i got a call like this. that time i donated 1000rs.
I don't why... these people talks very rude. and they will be in a hurry. they are not giving time fore us to think or google.

I tood faced this 1 or 2 days back. I got two calls, they are literally threatening and making us feel guilty so that we can donate. Dont trust them. Just disconnect the call without even talking one word. Even if you say that you are in meeting, they wont listen and they continue talking which clearly shows their unprofessional attitude. The number from which I got call are +91 [protected] and +91 [protected].
