I have ordered cake through Indiacakes.com for PIN code 638312. While making the order, there was no mention about delivery charges and I placed the order (id - 1725***). After sometime, I got mail saying delivery charges 250rs I need to pay to deliver to this location and followed by another email asking for 350rs as delivery charge to deliver cake worth 500rs.
Decided not to go with and called in for order cancelling, and after so many calls to customer care, was told I'll be issued with coupons which I can use only in Indiacakes.com it seems. As per their policy, refund to original payment mode is not possible or they just don't want to do it.
Issues to be addressed -
1. calculate the delivery charge before taking order
2. if you are saying 250/350rs as delivery charges, then I bet customer would expect (at least I would) expect explanation on why its so much and how its been arrived at.
3. customer care service needs to be improved upon on the aspects of attending calls, answering during the calls, not to drop calls in-between a conversation etc.
4. Finally, (most important) I want my refund to my original payment mode, not coupons Was this information helpful? |
