I had made an order for cake and chocolates from the site to be delivered on the midnight of Dec31st, 2015.
- The place of delivery being far from the city, I had talked to the customer care TWICE before ordering (mentioning the full address, along with the pincode number).
- The first time I was told that the delivery would be made for extra 150rs for midnight delivery.
- The second time I was told that the delivery would be made only on Jan 1st, as no same-day-delivery could be made for an order after 2pm. But said they could try.
- so I make an order 2300rs from the site to be delivered on Dec 31st or jan1st with no extra payment for midnight as i wasnt given a confirmtion for it.
- I get a call from the representative at night saying the delivery can be made only with a payment EXTRA 500rs.
- I get another call from another representative (who was totally unaware of the earlier call) 15mins later saying I will have to change my order of cheese cake to chocolate truffle.
What kind of service is this ? If payment of extra 500rs is needed it should be mentioned before making the order and not after it!! Or atleast the customer care representatives should have been sensible enough to inform people of this charge when the customer asks (i had asked twice with full address of the location). I have screenshots of all the chats i have had with the representatives.
I just want IndiaCakes to be kind enough to refund of the 2300rs i paid in cash. I dont want any coupons as I dont have any more things to deliver anyone in the near future.
One piece of advice for IndiaCakes:
Please dont make such sites to fool people. When you make one, make sure it has provision for :
1) mentioning extra charges of delivery
2) cancelling a cake from the list if it cant be made.
