[Resolved] Indian Gifts Portal / Intermesh Shopping Network — Unauthorized charge | |||
My friend has sent a parcel from London to India and after that i had received the call from virendra singh who introduce himself as custom clearness officer . Called from the number -[protected] and asked me to pay Rs 24000 and than it will dispatched to my home . And has provided the account number to deposit the cash . I had deposited but again next day some other person called from the same number and he asked me to pay Rs 45000 which is very surprise to me The person is a fraud . I would like to inform you that any extra charges that are being levied on the packages are not coming from our end... Certain exigencies may require you to pay additional charges over & above your order value. There are several interstate charges like Octroi and certain international charges like custom duties, which if levied, will have to be borne by you. These charges are usually very rare but are not in our control. They are not levied on all orders and are occasional in nature. But if you order is stuck with the interstate authorities or custom authorities, you will have to bear these additional charges. This is something that is beyond our control unfortunately. | |||
