On 10 Oct., I had registered for a refill of lpg cylinder under ref: 631835. Till date there has been no supply. On contacting my Distributor Poppat Jamal, Chennai, 2 days back, I was told that they have since surrendered their dealership and a new Distributor has been appointed [ph:[protected]]. P J also kindly gave me my new consumer nbr CX 29388031. Strangely enough, there has been no communication about this change either from parent company or the new distributor. When I tried to contact the new supplier on the phone, first there was no response and when finally the call was answered, the response was most unbusinesslike. Without wanting to pay any attention to my problem, I was curtly told to re-register and call disconnected. Yesterday I tried to
Register my requirement again ( I had no choice) and after completing the drill, waited till the evening for confirmation message to come, which normally has been the practice. Nothing came till this morning. On checking with the new Distributor, I was informed no such booking had been registered. Hence fresh request has been made again. Therefore, my question to Indane is
- why customers are kept in the dark about any changes in the distribution system
- what happened to my earlier request made on 10.10.2015
- would I be getting the refill in a day or two, in view of the inordinate delay on the part of supplier
- we realise, change is the only constant factor but it should for good!!! Not the other way around??
