Recently in the last 6 months- two types of GAs leak problems, whenever we received fresh Gas Cylinders from Indane. 1. Gas leak- not noticeable on check on receipt of gas cylinder. 2. No washer(gasket) where the regulator fits in.
The leakage is due to the fact that whenever the cylinder is delivered, the gasket inside would have worn out. The distributors claim that the cylinders have to be checked on delivery by the supplier- IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF CONSUMER! that's what the IOC claims,
- How can you know instantly the kind of leakages of the type observed above?
- what about only old people in the house as customers? how will they be able to handle such things?
- MORE THAN THE CYLINDER NOT LASTING FOR MORE- WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE IS ANY EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT???
WHY CANT IOC MAKE IT A HABIT AND INTRODUCE A PROCESS OF CHANGING THE WASHER/GASKET EVERY TIME THE CYLINDER IS FILLED = IF THEY ANOTHER Rs 2/- IS ANYONE GOING TO QUESTION.
TYPICAL LETHARGY IN SOLVING ISSUES BY THE ROOT CAUSE THAN BLAMING THE CUSTOMER.(whenever we ask the distributor, he does not take any responsibility- simply they say complaint to the 'Gas leak; phone no??
ALSO THIS SYSTEM IS CENTRALISED FOR A REGION- DO THE SUPPLIERS EXPECT NOTHING CAN HAPPEN before the problem is fixed?!- What about people who go out for 2-3 days immediately after such(leaky) cylinders are installed and forget in a hurry to switch off gas!!
-Missing Gasket when the cylinder is delivered to us is INEXCUSABLE.
Both problems can be solved if IOC is serious about the suggestion, or they can have some other "POKA YOKE" process for this if they wish to

        sir,

        I am about 76 years old lady residing at aforesaid address with great restraint. It is bring to your kind notice that your delivery man is supplying the leaking cylinder for the past so many times. On my request to supply cylinder which does not leak, he ignored my request.

        As a result of which I suffered huge mishappening due to the fire and my life could hardly be saved. When i replaced the cylinder today i.e. 24th october 2015 at 9.30 am and the fire took place at the same moment because of the leakage of gas. The aforesaid delivery man in hasty manner took the cylinder back taking the undue advantage of situation as i was very frightened at that time. He also charged me Rs.100/- for leak gas and disappeared with malafide intentions.

        I request you to the kindly investigate the matter and compensate me according to the law for harassment and endangering my life.

          " Your distributor has been deactivated from indane.co.in ! Please contact your distributor. ".
          I have lost booked for refill on[protected]. The gap is below six month.
          WHY MY REGISTRATION IS DE-ACTIVATED?, Also see all the attached files and let me know my fault.

              Dear sir/ma'am,
              Since till date I am not getting LPG subsidy on my account, The account is already linked with UID. From enquiring M/s Sharan Gas Agency Patiala, they told that your account is not linked with UID i.e fault at Bank level. I, being a Banker, linked thosands of customers account with UID and also linked my own account. I doubt that there is a problem in Agency/Co. level or otherwise. I request yourgoodself to look into the matter and ask the Agency to credit the subsidy to my account immediate for the last 8 months.

                I am a user of Indian oil domestic LPG gas last somany years, but now a days, distributor has been surveying by their field boys in houses and they charges of Rs. 75/- for visit charge &170/- gas pipe unnecessary. And I comfirm to direct company by customer care no. and they told me that this is not a company order. Kindly take a necessary action.

                  I was using the website login since long. But unfortunately my distributor is deactivated and my connection was transferred to other distribution. When I try to login to book the cylinder it shows the message "Your distributor has been deactivated from indane.co.in ! Please contact your distributor." Hence could not login

                    Tion : I took new gas connection from Anuj Indane vadodara code no 111975. The Agency charged me rs 7417 for new connection with two cylinders. On enquiring about the inflated price, they told me that new connection comes with hot plate and cooker. When I said that I don't require gas stove and cooker they refused to give me new connection. Since I was in dire needs I paid rs 7417. They called me after a week to collect the details of the bill and gas stove and cooker. The details of the bills are as follows, deposit of iocl rs 3050 refill charges rs1223, hot plate/ gas stove rs1920, suraksha pipe rs170, document charges rs100 and cooker 5 litre rs949. Also the cooker provided was of local brand Akai and gas stove was of Summet. Sir total rs 2869 was unnecessarily collected giving local materials by the dealer blackmailing in the garb of new connection. I request you to please look into the matter as I being army personnel get transfer every two years and really difficult to pay unnecessary expediture. My request to you is to please instruct the dealer to take back the items lying unpacked with me and also to refrain from such blackmailing activities. My consumer no is cx2 7684 201

                      Hi, Treat this as my written complaint. I have a complaint regarding Chandra Gas Service, Sitamarhi (Bihar) the staff who does the delivery, I am every month being charged Rs.50 by the vendor for the delivery more than what is written on the receipt. I have done many complaints to the Chandra Gas Service and Indane about this but they are not taking any action against the delivery vendor. I have made a request for the LPG Cylinder on 07th October and today is 21st and my cylinder is still not delivered and when i call Chandra Gas Service office and the vendor they say that i have to pay a charge of Rs 50 else the delivery will not be done. This is wrong and Indane should taken an action, Could the company please ensure for a speedy delivery of the cylinder to my doorstep urgently and advise the vendor to stop taking the delivery charges else i am going to escalate the matter further for the excess amount charged.                         I need your help to understand why you allow petrol pumps to function when they dont comply with your offers. I've see many petrol pumps in the past without Citibank swapping machine, which means I cannot use my Indian Oil citibank credit card.

                        As of now, I would like to highlight two petrol pumps which are within 5 Kms of Pimple Saudagar:

                        1) Pimple Saudagar Indian Oil Petrol Pump, near Govind Garden chowk.

                          I am filing a complaint against Zirakpur Indane services. It has been more than a week I had booked refill request on 13th Oct, 2015. My booking request # 218390.

                          The service agency put the phone down and it is always showing that the number is busy.

                          The entire staff there is useless and team is doing fraud with Indane company and many of the customers are in trouble.

                          Indane organization should conduct some surprise audit and inspect their services and cancel their licenses.

                          The agency name is 'Zirakpur Indane Services, Dhakoli, Zirakpur in Punjab. This was in zirakpur and recently has been shifted to Dhakoli.

                              19/10/2015, ARASU INDANE GAS AGENCY, CHINGLEPUT, KANCHEEPURAM DISTRICT, CONSUMER NO.:CX2732184 (NAME - G VIJAYAKUMAR). I'm S Varalakshmi, wife of Shri G Vijayakumar. We are working in a nationalised bank. When I went to the agency on 19/10/2015, to enquire about my cylinder status, I was harassed to the core using un-parliamentary words.We both are working and we'll be available at home only after 08:00 PM. Also we'll be starting from home before 08.00 AM. We will not be available at home for receiving the cylinder. I requested the staffs that I'l take the gas cylinder by myself to my home and I had also taken with me the empty cylinder. The staffs then informed me that they'll not give the cylinder and that I've to be there in home and receive the cylinder when it comes. I booked the cylinder on 02/08/2015, ref no.321753 and received a message on 06/08/2015 that the booking stands cancelled.Again I booked the cylinder on 12/10/2015, ref no.348723 and got a message that it got cancelled on 15/10/2015. On enquiring all these with the agent he was not at all ready to hear me. Instead he blasted me with the following words: 1. U should give the empty cylinder to neighbors and receive the cylinder. 2. U should call the delivery person of that area and ask him when he'l deliver, (I)So I asked, why dont he call me so that I'm working in a local branch and I can come to receive the cylinder within 5 minutes. For that, THE AGENT IS ASKING ME THAT "ARE YOU CALLING A CUSTOMER WHEN A CHEQUE GETS RETURNED?". When I'm a customer for IOCL how can they target me with my organisation. In fact, I've never seen these persons before 19/10/2015. (II) Also they informed me that the delivery person has called me. U can very well check that for my bookings on 02/08/2015 and 12/10/2015. I've received the cancellation messages on 06/08/2015 and 15/10/2015 respectively only. But I've not received any cash memo generated message. I asked them how can I call the delivery person if I've not received the message reg cash memo generation, for which they dint respond. 3. The agent is asking me like this: " Its leave for bank After all this I requested them to kindly give me the cylinder then itself so that I will take it home for which they refused blindly that they'l not deliver to me. With all due respect to all of you, what the hell that agency person is thinking about me? How can he say that I'm not in good terms with the delivery person? Why should I be in good terms with him? If I've booked a cylinder they should deliver me at my convenience during working hours. They would call me for which I will be there at my home within 5 minutes. But they say they'l not call. Then how would I receive my cylinder? After all I'm the customer of IOCL. Who the hell is he to question me that whether bank calls to customers on cheque return? When I'm a customer requesting for a service, who is he to question me again with my organisation, instead of resolving my issue? On enquiring in toll free whether we can pick up cylinder at our convenient time, they said yes. If it is so, why this agency person is harassing me?He's saying that I should stay at home on 2nd and 4th saturday to receive my cylinder. What the hell he's thinking of me? Is this the only job for me? Don't I have personal works. Who the hell is he to order me to stay at home for getting a cylinder? Please do the needful for they have mentally harassed me.                                 I have received a mug from DZ- IODBTL Your connection has been blocked as multiple connection detected Aadhar based de duplicate. I have a single connection in Delhi I am working With Govt.PSU. Kindly look into the matter and release/open my gas connection. I am already register complaint No. 2336185 dated 16rh Sept 2015 . I am facing lots of problem without LPG gas cylinder.

Consumer #: 01381. I booked the Indane gas on 27-Sep through phone at [protected]. The booking confirmation # was 607875. On 15th Oct, I called them up to enquire my status of gas booking. They informed that my booking was cancelled. They could not give a valid reason as to why it was cancelled. I am under a very difficult situation right now as my gas cylinder is about to expire (I have a big family of 9 persons to support) & yet they had cancelled my booking without any rhyme or, reason. I have already re-booked another cylinder after I came to know about the cancellation but by the time this cylinder arrives, I might face big trouble for having no cylinder at all for sometime.
