LPG Division — Delay and harrassment of supplying refill

I booked a refill on 26/12/2007 and was assured delivery within three days.Since no action was forthcoming, I reminded on 4/1/2008 and was assured delivery on the next day, which also did not happen.
To stay without gas in the kitchen is difficult, as I do not have any alternative means of cooking food. Buying food from outside is inconvenient and expensive.
Please let me know, whether this agency of yours is a habitual defaulter. If so, what is your future course of action.My consumer No is 607460 at Versova Gas Services Andheri(w) Mumbai 400058

Indane Gas — no supply of gas from last 10 days

I booked refill of my gas on 9th feb 2008 at Nayyar Gas agency Vikas Puri after a week long trial on phone booking which did'nt happend as there phone was either engaged or not reachable.

We were assured of getting cylender refill by a weeks time, however even after 10 days gone we are unable to get a cylender even after 3 personal visit to agency by my wife.

It is a clear case of harrassment of customer and black marketing by agency of cylenders to outsiders, and not giving service to needy consumers.

I booked my gas on 03.03.08 (9.30 A.M) at Agnihotri Gas Service Sector 37,NOIDA.(Consumer # 16646)
I was assured of getting cylinder within 2 days time, but even after 5 days & personal visit to agency I am unable to get a cylinder.
Moreover their phones are either always engaged or not reachable.
It is a clear case of harrassment of customer and not giving service to a senior citizen like me.

LPG — NO SUPPLY OF LPG

1)we are the employees of NERIST a central government Engineering Institute situated at Nirjuli, Itanagar, Arunachal pradesh. Here there are more than 1000 families are stayaing inside the campus but not getting a single LPG supply from the last 2 months.Here all have their LPG connection card but we dont no what is the problem.Befor 3 months back one person from your company came to our campus from Guwahati and promosed for regular supply but he never fulfilled 1% of his commitment. Sir please take necessary action to help us.

We would like to draw your kind attrentione that your dealer M/s.Ludhiana Gas Agency does not supply proper LPG.When we peoples are apporaching over phone they does not pick phone more over if we visit personally to their office for booking purpose.Their staff behaviour is very rude.The ladies whos sitted in there front office they always using rough and rude language and uncessaryly harrs to customer.Sir it is also inform you that my LPG gas no.46224 had booked on 2/8/2008 on above said agency but sir i am very sorry to inform you that till date we did not getting delivery our second cylinder also finished.Sir, we both husband and wife are in service due to this we face lots a problem serveal time i personally visit their office for asking about gas.But they dont bother and always commit today it will delivered but in vain .Till we are not getting the same therefore you are request you kindly look in to the matter and sort our problem on priorty bassis.

Sir.In sect.7 Rohini gas agency by name Rohini Enterprises has 4 tele. numbers but it has been found all the time with busy tone, out of four nos two are always off, other two 7044113, and 7053496 always on busy tone. It means intentionally they keep the receiver down so that they have not to make any booking and they can sell gas in black nduring this festival season.Since yesterday I have been trying to book gas but but till today I didn' get any response except the busy tone.It is their usual behavior.

Indane Gas — Non-delivery of gas and harrassment

My cooking gas distributor is M/s Nataraja Agencies, Yelahanka, Bangalore. Consumer number - 22765. I have read the articles about the RTI activist Mr. Garg, who has got reply from oil companies that there is no waiting period of 21 days for booking of gas cylinder. However, my gas distributor still insists that he will not book cylinder until completion of 21 days. Worse, this distributor takes into consideration the 21 days from the date of delivery (leave alone the date of billing) of the cylinder to the house. Still worse, they take more than 10 days to deliver a cylinder from the date of booking. Hence effectively, my distributor takes a minimum of 31 days for supply of gas. I request the appropriate authorities to look into such matters and advice gas companies to properly monitor and issue guidelines and also to initiate strict action on such gas agencies.

I have booked for refill cylinder on[protected] via online booking on the tel.no. 25611031 from my landline number which was registered with 25611031 a fortnight ago. We had a death in the family (my father) so both gas cylinders got consumed during the 13-day ceremony. Till today[protected] we didnot get the gas refill cylinder and when I rangup to the gas agency I was aghast to know that the gas is not booked at all. Whereas I was even given the booking number of 129 by the online booking people. We still have relatives staying in the house and we are facing a real problem.

Indane Gas — NO NEW CONNECTION ALLOCATION

I am new to Bangalore, I have obtained a new Rationing Card as well to comply with the law and regulation.

Our nearest supplier for Indane Gas is Sheela Gas Agency. I requested for a new connection on 19th Nov 2008 to Sheela Gas Agency, in response to the same they told us that I have to purchase a gas stove, without which they will not issue a new gas connection.

I explained them that I already have a gas stove with ISI mark, so they emphasised upone getting it supervised, to which I agreed, day before yesterday only (2nd Dec 2008) one of the supervisor came from Sheela Gas Agency.

Yesterday - 3rd Dec 2008, my wife went to meet the owner or incharge of the Sheela Gas Agency office to know when will they issue a new gas connection, they said that, since, I have a stove which is out dated we have to purchase a new stove then and then only they will issue a new gas connection.

They are forsing me to buy a new gas stove if I want to go for a new Indane Gas connection ! is it fare ?

I want to go for a new Indane Gas Connection, pl help me.

I am a frustrated customer of Radhika Gas Service. Customer No 3669 in name of Sh. Manubhai Patel. I am completely troubled and irritated by the Dealer Radhika Gas Services, Baroda. None of the booking numbers responding, half a time getting phone engaged & if phone connected then nobody is pickup the phone. If you can believe, i'm getting headache by trying phone for booking contineously. Booking of Cylinder by phone it is too tough for this agency. This type of service is disappointing the people.

This is my second complain lodged at the same subject but nothing is changed so far. I am Sandeep Srivastava a resident of Dr. Subba Rao ' Lane Shastri colony KATNI (M.P.). My Consumer no is 7162 and the name of distributing center is The Central Railway Employees Co-operative Credit Society Ltd.(Gas Services) Marketing Complex, New Katni Junction, Katni. They neither attend the telephone nor give the booking no and even not supply cylinders. they may be involved in black-marketing, so they deliberately creates shorting. I have booked my cylinder at about one month ago. Though the phone was attended by some one but the booking no was not given and again when i inquired on phone, Mr YADAV attended .He assured me but it has passed about 15 days more but the cylinder was not supplied. There must be going on some thing wrong. Later I will take this matter to Consumer Forum and concerning District Administrative Authorities too. So look in to this matter. Thank you

For the last 15 days whenever I am calling the agencies they say that they're sending it the very day, but nobody is showing up. If I ask the person who is delivering the cylinder, he says that he didn't get the slip. What's the use of this kind of harassment? Consumers like me feel so helpless. I had booked for my household gas cylinder on 3rd January 2009. Today is the 51st of day of my booking and still now i have not received the cylinder from your agency. The agency is M/s. Coastal Gas, Ajantha Road, Pandikudy, Kochi - 682 002, Ernakulam, Kerala. I have only one gas cylinder in my name and as per rules, you have to give me cylinders in 40 days gap. I and my family are deeply suffering because of the non-supply in time.

Kindly take remedial steps to supply the cylinders well in time, at each instances.

My Gas connection No.SGA 2244 formerly at Shri Griha Agencies, Tambaram and now looking after by Pattammal Gas Agency Tambaram.
Gas booked on 15.06.2009 and they said the cylinder will be delivered within four to five days.
When there are no response on 25th June contacted them and they said it will be delivered today itself.
Fro m that day onwards I am calling them and they are telling that it will be delivered today, today, today but till date not received the cylinder.

I have an LPG connection from Indane.I am served by M/s Natraj enterprises.
Though I booked a refill on 20th October,I have not received the cylinder,though other consumers who booked their cylinder on 26th were supplied today.

The firm M/s Natraj Enterprises,Yelahanka,do not answer the telephone promptly.Their phones are either engaged or no body answers.After about 15 minutes they say that the cylinder will be delivered tomorrow.

We (Consumer No.UG721) have booked Gas through telephone online booking o[censored]nique Gas Services, Chandanpukur, Barrackpore, West Bengal on 04th November'2009 at 0820 hrs and were given C.N.No.1. But after non-receipt of Gas cylinder even on 12th Nov, we again checked with Unique Gas Service on 13th Nov but unfortunately the reception informed us that our online booking dt 4th Nov could not be traced and so it has to be re-booked again and now it will take another 10 days time to deliver the Gas cylinder.
This is very unfortunate that the Gas Services are using Telephone Online Booking system which is non-operative and moreover these are misguiding consumers and also helping in malpractice by local staffs employed with the Gas services.

gas cylinder — delivery not on time

We have following complaints against the agency from which we buy gas cylinders:

1) not supplying the refilled cylinders on time. they take their own time and not on specified or promised time

2) telephone numbers of agency is always busy. I understand they might be getting many calls, but they should have either Q system or more telephone numbers to give service.

3) the staff attending the customers call are not at all proffessional. They dont listen to what you say but keep repeating their say.

4) Every time we approach them we get a feeling that they are doing some favour in supplying us the cylinder...

5) Last time my gas cylinder got over on 14th november and when i tried to replace the cylinder i found out that agency has supplied a damaged cylinder to us and after repeated phone calls they have sent their person after one week. meanwhile i had to borrow cylinder from my neighbour. The agency care nothing for customer safety. Infact i am at home alone with 10 month old baby and my husband comes in the evening from office. what if there is a leakage or any problem. inspite of explaining my problem also they sent their person with replacement cylinder in their own time on 24th nov. the matter worst than this is they did not take my booking on first week of december as they have noted the date on which replacement cylinder was given us ie., 24th nov. but we have got the delivery of damaged cylinder more than 1 and half months back.
6) last week after an hot argument they took my booking and now today after a week when i call they cooly say we will get it next week... What do we do if the gas gets over?

Please let us know why we should go through such harrassment?

will be greatful if someone can please attend this complaint and help us to use the rights given to us in right way. this is the first time iam complaining to your forum trusting and anticipating that some one will surely attend this complaint!!

Dear Team,

I have an LPG gas connection with INDANE Gas Company, connection number PG-19308 (PRITHVI GAS SERVICE c-116 LIG flat, East Of Loni Road, Delhi CODE[protected].

I have changed my address from previous one to D-543, Street No-10, C/o G S Singh Ashok Nagar Delhi 110093 and before two months back same has been intimated to PRITHVI GAS SERVICE for updation. I have recived two deliveries of cyllender on new address on Dec 11, 2009 and Jan 08, 2010 respectively.

Now I booked my cyllender on Feb 02, 2010, and till date same has not been delivered and the behaviour of the concerned staff is very irritating even they neaver picked the landline number.

For the same I went to the PRITHVI GAS SERVICE, now they are saying that it'll take 7 to 8 days for the delivery by having the ascuse that we will make the field investigation.

Now my question is that if they people have delivered two times at new address then what is the need of taking 7 to 8 days for the same.

Non delivery of cyllender My family is facing lots of problem and taking the food from outside.

Please look into the same and make some action against the staff of PRITHVI GAS SERVICE as they neaver listen the problem of the customers.

it is submitted that I am in possession of LPG connection with two cylinder with M/S Sunder Shyam Enterprises, DDA Market, Janakpur, A1, New Delhi. Usually I go for booking of gas when LPG gas of one of the cylinder gets exhausted since it takes more than 10 days to deliver the gas. This time I got LPG gas booked on 26 Feb 10 and finally delivered on 20 Mar 2010 after several request made to the Agency. Also at the time of booking, registration number is not being given. This sort of attitude on the part dealer put the customer into harrasment. The said enterprise also do not attend telephone and the customer has travel a long distance just for booking the gas.

i have not received my cylinder till date.
so kindly solve my problem as soon as possible.

Sir, I had booked for refiiling of my cylinder vide automated booking number 1526966 thro mobile number [protected] on dated 25.08.2011, but had not received refilled cylinder.
My gas service station is Babarpur Gas service- [protected]-, according to whom he is not gettingb regular supply from back. But this is regular scene , we have to go to office, meet them personally and request them and then only after two/three days of our request 12-15 days ater booking we gat our refilled cylinder. Kindly look into the matter for early refilling.

Indane LPG — Non-delivery of LPG Cylinder

In reference to above subject, undersigned booked a LPG cylender vide booking no. 15720 dated 30.01.2012 in Shastri Nagar Gas Service, Agency No.130, Ram Nagar Shopping Center, Shastri Nagar, Jaipur 302016. but the above cylender not received till the date in this reference. So many enquries and personal conversation, communicuated by undersigned to the Shastri Nagar gas agency staff but no proper responce given by them and always says "AAJ AAYEGA, BHEJ DENGE" and this is the routine words of the agency staff. While enquiry on phone it is surprice to say that most of the time phone are busy or non working... no responce given.

I request the matter should be examine by the highest aurthority because this is repeated complaint of this agency but surpricely no action taken by Indian Oil Corporation or concerning officer which shows that some mismanamgement done on the part of the investigation officials. I agian requested please go through the matter and necessary arrangement made immeiaely to dilver the cylender ASAP..

agency,Alandur,Chennai(Taminadu).I believe there is some malpractise in gas cylinder delivery.

Recently I booked my cylinder on 17 feb 2012 with booking reference number 286241.

On 18 feb cash memo no 4678 was issued.Since there was no delivery for a month i went and enquired with agency

officials and it was told that it will be delivered same day evening or next day.

But gas cylinder not delivered so far as on date 14 April 2012,almost two months over.So its humble request to

look into the matter.For your information if you will visit at agency you will find lots of cunsumer are like me

are strugling to get gas cylinder.

Indane LPG — non-delivery of Cylinder

My Gas Connection No. 10477 is with M/s Nairs Gas Agency, Vikas Puri whose contact number is[protected]. I have booked cylender on 12th June on centralised contact No. [protected] under complaint No. 8329037 dtd 12.06.12. After not receiving the gas I again contacted the number in which I have booked the cylender on 20.06.12 and got information that the cylender has already been delivered on 16.06.12 but delivered to whom is suspence. Now I m regularly contacting the agency every time they are assuring for delivery within 1 or 2 days but still after about 20 days I have not received the gas.

For your information I have also complaint to Consumer Court vide registration number 537431 dated 28.06.12 as I am facing lot of problems due to the negligence of this agency. More over If we dial the agency's contact number right from morning to evening only then, after the efforts of 2-3 days we can contact them.

Kindly do the needful. I request not to give me the mail that my complaint is sent forward for action. All my problems due to this - the Nairs Gas or Indian Oil will be responsible.

IOCL Petrol Pump — Defraud in Quantity

Dear Sir/Madam,

I've filled petrol from IOCL petrol pump which is runned by M/s Unique Retreads Pvt. Ltd. which is located at Opp. Ashima Mill, Khokhara, Ahmedabad.

The Cash Memo No. is 7781 dated 11 August, 2008.

The Quantity for which I paid was Rs. 500.00 (9.24 Liters) but when I noticed my fuel meter it indicated half of what I had paid for i.e. around 5 Liters and also the average of my vechile came down to 5/liter from 12/liter because of improper quantity. This has happened for the second consecutive time.

So I request you to take a stern actions against this retail outlet of IOCL and protect the rights and hard earned money of innocent customers.

Indian Oil Petrol Pump — Petrol pump fraud in indian oil petrol pump velacherry chennai

Dear Sir MAdam,

FOR THOSE WHO RESIDE IN VELACHERRY chennai.

BEWARE OF INDIAN OIL PETROL PUMP (IOCL) NEAR GURUNANAK COLLEGE, OPPOSITE OT WESTIN HOTEL.

i use to get very low mileage in this particular petrol pump. so today i need to check them extra carefully. and you know what ? today i caught them red handed. i gave 100rs to fill petrol. other attendant try to distract me . suddenly i turned to see the nummber. he was causually typing 36rs in number pad. i asked him why you typed 36rs even after telling you to put 100rs petrol. he said "no sir it was in zero. you dont need to worry blah blah blah". he started to put petrol. asked him to take his hand. and you know what . it stopped at 36rs. and then he "machine problem ." he tried to start the pump manualy remaining 64rs of petrol. i stopped him. asked him to give remaining 64rs. i told them i not going to come back here again.this happend not for the frist they did it again and again to me some 4 times. something cheating going on.

this is new kind of fraud. if ask them to fill 100rs. they type 40rs. when you are not seeing meter. then they show you zero in counter. meter stop at 40rs. then they manually fill remaining fuel until it comes to 100rs. sometimes they set it to 100rs. purposely stop the fuel manualy and then start it again to fill the remaining fuel.

so friends.

1. if anyone try to distract you . dont take your eyes off from counter. answer him without taking your eyes off from the counter.
2.if you want to fill petrol 500rs... attendant filled only 200rs. then never tell him to fill remainig 300rs of petrol. just leave the pump station with 200rs of petrol. he is definitely cheating.

GOOD PETROL PUMPS I FOUND OUT IN VELACHERRY REAGION:

1. Small bharat petroleum petrol pump in 100ft bypass road. its located on left side of the road when you travel towards velacherry. here quality seems to be good. i can feel the difference. quantity also 100% good. only one guy will standing and pour fuel to your vehicle. another interesting thing i found out is. they opened pasted banner mentioning they have quality checking tools here to check quality of petrol.

2. HP petrol pump in velachery by pass road. its on the right side of the road when you travel toward velacherry vijayanager. quantity is 100% same. quality some what good. my bike gave good mileage.

3. IOCL pump in taramani link road. quantity is 100%. no cheating. but quality also some what good. but i can feel the difference in quality between these two pump and small bharat petroleum pump in 100ft road.

So friends BEWARE OF IOCL PETROL PUMP OPPOSITE WESTIN HOTEL NEAR GURUNANAK COLLEGE.

NOTE: This is was on JAN 2013. so i will try to update periodicaly which petrol pump is cheating and which is not.

On 5th March, 2008 I gone for personally in the company and booked the refil on 5th March, 2008. Gas Agency's authority persons are telling that I will get Gas Clyinder after 20th April, 2008. becuase from 26th Feb., 2008 I have got Gas Clyinder on 13th March, 2008 means after 15 days deliver of Gas Clyinder. then counting 21 days from delivery of Gas Clyinder.Total days become 15+21+15=51 days. Means Every cusmter is getting refil after 50 days so it is not good for domestic Gas connection. Pl. help me and guide me how I will get gas clyinder within 25-35 days.

There should be severe punishment on top beaurocracy and also minister for his inefficency in getting the things in proper manner. There is no facility to remind that the failure of cylender supply. Since I am facing all hastles for lack of gas and it is purely mismanagement and I shall be paid compensation at the rate of Rs 100/- per day till the supply of cylender.

It is pathetic that IOC had adopted a new methodology and it is utter failure; catvch the fellow who is responsible and penalise the person.

Cooking gas is most essential item even this could not be handled properly by the authorities. Consumer shall be paid compensation for non delivery for such a long duration.

Today, we are celebrating 61st c of India ( independence day ), but the consumer of indene gas agency in year of republic LUNKERNSAR, BIKANER (RAJ) are PRALISED with their fundamental rights of riffling gas facility, on account of distributors unfair practice of system by systemizing the telephone booking unoprated and moreover not booking the cylinder with one or the other pretext and otherwise supplying regular problem to the consumer, as the LUNKERNSAR GAS AGENCY, LUNKERNSAR, BIKANER (RAJ) . It reflect the systemize their connection target above Indian guide line moreover lunkernsar population increase of manifold also resulted and other cause of system obligating to the hotel, restaurant & black gas suppliers . ( sare villagers ko gas godawen se jaker gas cylinder lana parta h. home delivery nahin deti.)
How the Indian inspiration and other staff of the indene gas company considering the public grievances, witch shows that indene gas company staff also obliging in the networking of riffling systemize unfair with hidden bargain exercise and to which might be the distt. I have booked a gas cyclinder through my email "[protected]@rediffmail.com" to M/s. Chahal Gas- Sector -70 Mohali (Punjab) on thier email id "[protected]@gmail.com" on 25th Feb'10. Since then there is no confirmation of acceptance of the booking. When contacted to all the 3 given landline no's of Chahal Gas, either the phones are busy or not been picked. When raised the complaint to the delivery van of chahal gas who visited in Sector -70 today on 07.03.10, they misbehaved and refused to discuss the problem and providing the suitable solution. My gas connection is in the name of Gaurav Munjal , Connection No. 26658.

Kindly provide the solution.

Last month,I had booked a cylinder with M/S Mukund Enterprises, Barkatpura, Hyderabad. My consumer number is 34346. Till date, the same is not delivered to me. When ever i call them they say they are sending today itself.The staff is worse and not even talk to consumers properly and cut off the phone. I request you to please look into the issue.

I applied for Double Cylinder on 3rd March 2009 but Unfortunately till-today Ihave
not received any reply from their side. Several times I went to their office but, always they said that the double cylinder issue was sttoped .
When I will receive this connenection ? and where I communicate to solve my problems ? because here supply condition is very very poor.

Indane Gas — gas cylinder not supply

Indane Gas for not sending the cylinder in spite of booking and repeated request — Not delivering the cylinder in spite of booking and repeated request

I booked the gas on 2-9-2010, (Through tromo seva service , my booking number is 27), but till today the Dealer (i.e. M/S Sindhu Gas Enterprises, Dilshad Garden, New Delhi) did not deliver the Gas. Then I booked my compliant on helpling no. [protected] dated 23.9.2010 complaint no. is-77578, they told me that your gas will be delivered within two days but great surpirse, the dealer did not supply the gas. The firm also does not pick up the phones, Sir, please look into the matter and rectify the problem.

Cylinder booked on[protected] but supply not given even after repeated request till[protected]. Here one M/S Mini Gas Agency and their service is very poor. All the customers are doing complaints against them

I am consumer of kasna gas agency and my consumer no. 27356, Greater Noida . I have booked a gas cylinder on 8th March with Indane centralised booking and still I haven't received the Gas . so many times called up but no response on phone.

Indane gas not supplied by Kasna Indane gas service despite repeated follow ups and visits to their office in Greater Noida.

I informed to Indian Oil Sales Officer also, who committed to deliver the cylinder today evening, but I neither received any information and nor any gas cylinder.

Indane Gas — Gas Dealer provide domestic Gas cylinder to the Hotel & restaurant owner.

Gas Dealer of Herbertpur Provide domestic gas cylinders to the hotel owners and restaurants in the place of commercial cylinder. Due to this there is great shortage of domestic gas in this area. And gas cylinder is not provide at home of customers. So there is a very long queue to refill the cylinders for the customer.
But for the hotel owner there is no queue because domestic cylinders provided at their place illegally.
Please do some thing to save customer's time and money..

The Indane gas agency is Nicolian Enterprises, Ramesh Nagar, New Delhi-110015.Ibooked gas cylinder at Nicolian Enterprises by visiting them personally. More than fifteen days have passed but they have not delivered cylinder in spite of repeated reminders.
