Delay of Delivery

Address: Hooghly, West Bengal

Consumer No.11569. Please note that I have booked my gas on 27/11/12. They have generated the cashmemo. But they cancelled the same and did not give the delivery. When I personnaly meet them they ask for another booking and told me that the cylinder will deliver within 2 or 3 days. That day was 14/1/2013 and booking no is 473541.

Sir please do the something.

I am from Ludhiana and consumer of Indane LPG at Kailash Gas agency, The agency out rightly refuses refills to be delivered at home as they cannot afford delivery man, This has been a perennial problem and has been repeatedly reported locally by many consumers. The agency was even shut down for some time. But reopened with the same attitude and simililar problem. The agency people are non cooperative and do not want to sort out the problem of home delivery

In spite of price hike etc, there is no provision for home delivery. A working individual has to take leave on a working day to obtain a cylinder.

Government and consumer forum should take note and do something.

      With due to respect to state that i am Debabrata Biswas,consumer number-sjc-00677,Vill+Post-Salua,Via-D,Chatra,PS-Baduria,Dist-North 24 parganas,( Distributer Name-M/S-INDANE SWARUP JYOTI,Harishpur,Ichhamoti Market,Tentulia,Swarupnagar,Dist-North 24 parganas.),My connection was loked,That time i have critical finacial problem after i have to contact distributor (M/S INDANE SWARUP JYOTI) and submite(29/09/2012) my all document as per your rule but my connection do not unlocked than i was contact customer care([protected]) and complaint,My complain number was 703360,712845(month of november) after few day as per feed back,i have physically gone distributor office that time he was tell me my connection did not activated after i have contact Regional Manager([protected]) & continue discuss my problem but today he cannot received my phone.
      I request to you plz solve my problem.This time i am hopeless & fastrated.plz tell me what i wiil do now?

        Complaints:-
        1. No one attends the call in their office, inspite of numerous trials regarding gas booking via telephone.
        2. Our Gas connection of 25 years and above was suddenly locked without any intimation. Hence had to go through hassels in booking a new cylinder and had to submit fresh kyc documents for id proof etc and only after that booking could be done.
        Hence plz look into the matter as its very unprofessional and not acceptable. Its an unwanted difficulty caused to customers who are aged. In this case its my parents who had faced this issue who are unwell and going through treatment from apollo hospital chennai. Due to all inconvenience caused, gas booking got delayed and then new docs had to be submitted and my mother had to arrange for alternative options of cooking which is highly inconvenient. How can all these hassels be compensated??

        Why is no one picking the call and why was there no intimation before locking the connection? Its a great inconvenience for people who are aged/sick/busy schedule, to everytime walk in to their office for booking. Also they need to intimate their customers before locking any connection, coz its absolutely incorrect taking such actions without even notifying the customers who had been a genuine and loyal customers for years!!

        IOC Indane Gas — Indane Gas Issue clarification

        Sir,

        Iam a resident of Kerala using Indane Gas for domestic use. My consumer card number is SF6776.
        Till 2 months back, it would normally take 21 days to get a new refilled gas cyllinder after booking from the distributor. But from last two months onwards the distributor has informed me that it will take 30 days to get the refilled gas cyllinder.
        I would like to know whether any new rule has been imposed by the company to change the issue the gas cyllinder from 21 days to 30 days??

        IOC Indane Gas — supply of underweight cylinder

        My consumer number is 10637 and is registered with Yadu Gas Agency Sahibabad, Ghaziabad. For the last six months the gas cylinderss supplied to me are underweight. I have informed the agency a number of times but their plea that the vendor should be retained while he comes for delivery is impractical. Earlier also the matter was reported to IOC and supply was normal for 2 -3 months.

        IOC — The Gas agencies are not working properly

        Dear Sir,

        I am Varsha Gupta, consumer number 4439 and a customer of IOC's branch in Joshi Colony, Patparganj. Our gas vendor is M/S Verma gas . I wish to inform you that it is impossible to get gas booked through phone. The phone operators never pick phone, not only this even the emergency numbers are constatntly busy. We expect you to please look into the matter, as the situation fails to improve.

        I would also like to tell you about an incident that would act as an eye opener for all, our gas cylinder by the same agency developed a snag in its washer, we kept on calling and running for help but no help came for 14 hrs. Kindly, look into the matter as without the higher authorities interference this system would never work.

        IOC Indane Gas — not delivered properly

        I am a consumer of IOC gas at chennai my dealer Venkat gas agency at triplicane is not response properly.I have booked gas via phone and directly also,but was not delivered gas cylinder after several reminders.I had done the booking on 20.04.2010.On a previous occassion also I had same problem .This is not only happened to me but also happened to so many custyomers. I doubt they are selling the cylinders unauthorisedly in black market. Please look into my complaint and take necessary steps to make the delivery at the earliest .

        IOC Indane Gas — GAS Booking

        This is to complain against Messer Narsinh krupa Gas Agency,Near AKota Garden Vadodara. Although it has been widely published in the newspapers, dated 8th July 2010) that there is no restriction for booking a gas cylinder before 21 days, yet this agency denies to take any booking before the said time. His telephone lines are always busy and if you go personally to book in his office, you will be humiliated as if you are beggar at his mercy. . Indian Oil should atleast keep a tap on their agents who by the years have turned into , troubling the consumer . am scared to give my connection No. in fear of furthur harrassments from the agency.Also my earlier cylinder was weighing less and was completed before average usage by me. My phone is[protected] &[protected]
        I Jitendra Tripathy consumer no IR 4191 of sithu memorial gas agency Malda. Here is also a similiar problem in this agency . Maybe directed to agency totake care of customers.

        gas — Booking

        1. Online booking is not working.
        2. When online booking is done through telephone, they are telling the same comment that the gas is booked on 19th January.
        3. As i contacted the gas agency they said that booking is not done and there talking was quit rough.

        IOC Indane Gas — agency not responding properly

        I am subscriber ofMaruthi Indane gas agency Tirumangalam, Anna Nagar, Chennai, TN, India. the agency is not at all repoding properly for gas refill booking. They are not attending the calls, or if they attend, theya re not speaking, chatting their own stories. no proper reply for delay, and very worst customer service. Gas cylinder takes even 30 days to reach house. Lot of gas cylinders sold in black market. Delivery boys state a reason of customer not avaialble at home and sell the cylinders to clak market agents.

          There is an Indian Oil gas station located at Begumpet in Hyderabad. There are 2 Indian Oil stations in Begumpet, I am talking about the one between Shopper's Stop and the Old Airport. I fill petrol from this place like 2-3 times a week.
          Everytime I go and ask the guy to fill petrol for 500, he fills for a 100 and when I look at the reading and tell him I asked for 500 the guy innocently says he is sorry he only heard 100. Now he pretends to reset the meter and starts from 100 itself and fills upto 400 and stops. You would just think he filled 100 first and now 400 and 500 totally and I have been fooled like this a couple of times like 3 months ago.
          I started observing from then on and realized that this happens every single time I've gone for fuel at this gas station. Each time the guy is different but does the exact same thing. They definitely do this to many more people who may not notice.
          This happened to me again today morning and I confronted the guy. I asked him to show me his ID card. He immediately started apologizing and when I asked him where the manager is, he ran away. I looked around and could not find anybody who looked like a manager and was late for work myself, so just left.
          In a country like ours where most people make ends meet with a lot of hard work, if this kind of open corruption and cheating is not met with consequences then we as a country will never have a future.
          I request you to take up my complaint very seriously and if not take concrete action, atleast place some measures which prevent other people from being deceived in this manner.

            last october I have applied for indane gas and got request reference number is N[protected]

            I tried to reach hebbal indane gas agency on phone. they have not attended my phone. after trying lots of time they ask me to visit office. I went there with relevent document. they told come after 4-5 days. again I went after 5 days. person sitting on chair told come 10 days. I said ok. then again I went he told come after 5 jan 13. I went again. he tried to postpond the date. then I ask what you want from. I given all the document. he told give pan card and passport.
            I was having rashan card and bank state ment . he need passport also.

            2. passport
            3. rental agreement
            4.bank statement
            5.pan card
            6. aadhar card
            7. affidavit

            I have produced all documents but was not have aadharcard. he denied to listen any thing. as per rule there is no need this much documents.

            again I went today ( 15jan 2013) I have taken all the document then also he was not treating me properly. after above 7 document produced he told we are not issueing any new connection. I requested him then he told give me all the documents with two copy each with 3 photo. I have given him. he taken all the document. but he has not given me any proof of that. I am not sure what he is going to do. i am already waisted more then 1000 rupees for auto ricksaw and xerox and affidavit cost.

            dear sir I am suggesting you that these kind person should remove from service on the spot.

              Recently I applied for a new LPG domestic connection with Ref No. N[protected]. When my father went to the distributor (Name: Bokaro Flame), he was asked to deposit an amount of Rs 7,800 which is way higher than original price of Rs 3,500 (estimated) and Mr Rajesh who claim himself manager of that office clearly informed that he will be giving receipt of only Rs 3,500.

              When my dad asked about the reason, he informed that the same fee is applicable to everyone comes here for new connection and without it no body can get a new connection. He also said that the decision of taking higher amount is imposed from top and he cannot do anything about it.

              It's highly frustrating to see and experience this kind of scenario where one have to bribe people for having a day meal at your home. It is an essential commodity for every household now a days and bribing authority for this tells us the kind of society we live in.

              After having this experience my father came back home without knowing what to do. Now we decided to take this matter to the concerned person just in case if somebody still has the heart to understand our or others plight facing the similar issue.

              IOC-LPG — Over-charging of LPG

              Dear Sir,
              I am an LPG consumer (Customer No. 20317) of Ever Green Gas Agency (Indane Distributors), Shop No.6, Gulabi Bagh, Delhi-7. For the last two days, i.e. on 2nd and 3rd June, 2008, I dialed several times for booking of lpg. But the phone lines are cut off . Next day i.e. on 4.6.2008, I personally visit the agency, I found that all the lines are died. Then I booked gas on 4.6.2008 vide Cash Memo No. 945, who assured me that till today evening you will get your LPG. But I did not get the gas in that day. On 5.6.2008, when I get the LPG, the price was overcharged at Rs.346.30 by handwritting over the computer printed receipt.
              I hereby complained that though I booked lpg on 4.6.2008 at 9.55 AM and though the price hike was effected from 5.6.2008 I was overcharged with Rs.50/-. Kindly look into the matter and revert me about this injustice.

              Lpg Gas Cylinder — unnecessary charges claimed while getting a new cylinder

              Hi,

              I went for a second Cylinder from the dealer named ShreeLalji in Kandivili(E), Mumbai. While getting the new cylinder they charged me 1822/-.
              1250/- as deposit, 336/- for the cylinder, 25/- stamp duty and 110/- for TEA. When i asked them i dont want TEA they told me that i have to take it anyhow and they charged me 110/- for that. When i came back and checked the price of the TEA in the packet it is mentioned as 49/-. So my concerns are
              1) Even though i dont want the TEA packet they asked me to take it compulsorily
              2) the price of the TEA packet is mentioned as 49/- but they charged 110 for 2 packets (i.e. Rs 55/- for each packet).
              This is very irritating that how could they force a customer to take the tea packets compulsory. Kindly check with the dealer if they are charging illegaly.

              Indane - LPG Cylinder — Overcharging

              I have booked a cylinder on 20th June, at 9.30 a.m., vide booking no.
              [protected], as a normal procedure it will take 2-3 days delivery time,
              but they have not delivered after 05 days, as the government announce
              price hike on LPG, soon the next day they delivered on 25th June.

              it is clerly called unfair trade practice by the Indane Gas distributor.
              they must have returned my overcharging amount.
              LPG Indane TUCS alandur, chennai, Tamilnadu .i have contacted on 18th March 2019, for new connection, he replied 2 cylinder to get to pay Rs. 7850, single connection to pay Rs. 6400 . i Really shocked . because Indane Mentioned in web site, from March 1, 2019 on wards, Single cylinder Rs.1450, regulator Rs.150 and 2 cylinder Rs.2900, Regulator Rs.150
              both iam calculating from website breakup come under Single Gas without Gas stove (Gas stove not Mandatory) as Rs.3051 add GST 5% 152.55 totally Rs.3203.55 . Double Cylinder is Rs.4501 add 5% GST 225 Say Total 4726.05

              Then Why TUCS Alandur, chennai Distributor ask More charges for getting new connection .

                I have applied for transfer of LPG gas connection with our Gas distributor, ie M/s BVS ENTERPRISES - Gayathri Devi Park, Bangalore- 03, and aslo given all the documents as desired by them on 20.12.2012, I went and asked for the status of the same today, they informed me that still they are yet to receive any
                confirmation from IOC.

                  Dear Sir/Madam,
                  I applied online for a new INDANE LPG Domestic Connection on dated 19 September 2012. My New Connection has been registered at Booking Number (SL69) : [protected]. After that I went to Numdeepmala Enterprises distributor of Indane LPG in Sector-16, Chandigarh on 24 September 2012. They also booked our connection in their register and they gave us register serial number 261-A. Then they said that come after some days because new connections are closed. Then again many times I went there but they kept on saying New LPG Connections are closed. Then yesterday ( 11 January 2013) I again went there to check New LPG Connections are open or not then they told us that New LPG Connections are open and they checked my documents and said that they are complete. Then I asked them to give me a Connection but then they said that they will not give us the connection until and unless we take the GAS STOVE from them. Then I told them I am already owning a Gas Stove approved by ISI and don't want another. But they kept on saying that we will not give connection without GAS STOVE. They also said that they will only give connection if we take GAS STOVE only from them and after saying this they gave back my documents to me.

                  Then I requested them I don't want GAS STOVE and I want connection without it. They again refused my request. Then I said that taking of GAS STOVE is not compulsory and it is also not said by the Government. Again they said that they will not give me New Connection without gas stove. And they said to me that "We don't give New LPG Connection to anyone without GAS STOVE".

                  I request you to look into this matter and help me and solve my problem. I will be highly obliged.

                    I had registered for supply of gas cylinder and the same was supplied. But when the supply boy who drop the cylinder in home he has demanded more than the cylinder amount, my wife refuse to pay. For which he threatened that if you not pay the amount demanded the cylinder taken away by me and I will see no supply of further cylinder to your house. Further he entered to my house and took the cylinder and near by people resisted. It is came to know that it is his routine practice to threaten the people living in our colony. Though the agency was called and registered the complaint, they does not answering properly.                       Hi,

                      I am residing in Flat of Berry Developer, in Bhiwadi (Rajasthan). Berry Developer has provided Gas Pipe line, The per Kg cost of Gas is nearly 60-70Rs.
                      Which is too high, now Builder has asked Indane NCR Gas Agency for not to book Gas for resident of Berry Developer Society.
                      Today, since my gas booking was due, i asked gas agency person to book my gas, then he refused to book my gas, by saying that Berry developer has asked us not to book Gas.

                      Since, Indane Gas agency is a govt. concern, how can they work according to a local builder and harrass their own customer.

                        Respected sir/madam,

                        Am a customer of Sri Jayashree Gas Service,Denkanikotta(Krishnagiri District). The goverment announced to submit KYC application form by fiiling their details. Actually The appilcation is free but here they are charging 20RS for the application. Since i got application by paying money. When i submitting the application form, they are forcing me to buy either gas tube or gas lighter. costs around 200Rs. The quality also not good. Its totally unworthy. however we recently changed the gas tube and i have brand new gas lighter too. Then Why i want to buy this products? They are forcing all of them to buy because of sales manner. If anyone not buy they wont get their application. What is this? Where is going our country? We are in india or anything else? Sir Please i kindly request you to take action on this. However most of them are uneducated in our town. Please help the poor. Is these a way to cheat the poor? Hope u will make favour for us.

                          Reference to the above consumer number I have booked a gas cylinder on 10-Nov-2012 with M/s.Latha Gas Agency, Ambalapuzha, Alappuzha - 688561. But unfortunately I didn't get my booked new cylinder till this date and when I contacted the gas agency and they replied like "cylinders not available for distribution", but this agency is selling the cylinders in black market with higher profit.

                          I am a family with 8 members and we find it very difficult to cook daily food without enough gas.

                          So I request you to kindly look in to the matter urgently.

                          I am a customer of jalaram gas agency idar[gujarat]. there is a lot of difficulties for riffile. one day we go for booking. and then second day we get cylinder. distibutors sell a large part of cylinder in black.

                          I have connection of domestic gas from Satyam Gas Agency, Panchkula. I took first filled cylinder from them in July'08 and when i tried to contact them in Sep. for refilling, they didn't pick up the phone, i tried to call them several times but no response. So instead of wasting any more time, i borrowed the filled cylinder from my landlord and now again when i need a filled one (as lanlord's given cylinder's gas is used up), i have been calling them from last one week, first two days they didn't pick up my phone and from last 5 days, i have been able to talk to them (THANK GOD) and everytime they are saying they will send the filled cylinder by tomorrow. But their tomorrow seems to - won't come.

                          I was booked a Indane gas at Thrissur, Sainik Gas Agency on 15 th December 2008. My Gas Con.No, is 4989. Till to day 29/01/09 they are not supplied the gas. They are are not receving the phone. What i can do the Indane gas (IOC) will tell me the solution.

                          I have a gas connection with double cylinder with Surya gas agency, Pachalam,Kochi Agency code number 118419 .My consumer number is 930706 . I have booked for a cylinder on 10/12/2009 ( register number is 2767 ) and I have not received it till date , inspite of several reminders. The agency is not even lifting their phone . My second cylinder is now getting almost emptied . Please help me . Urgent

                          Indane(panchkula gas agency) — leakage of gas

                          supply of gas cylinder on 19/07/2010(mon)...after that there is a constant leakage of gas from more than 24 hrs...complaint is not booked on mon because of holiday... .emergency numbers were also not working...on 20/07/2010(tuesday)..compaint is booked thrice but no one has come to change the cylinder..........
                          I'm totally frustrate from late delivery of Indane gas it takes minimum 10 to 12 day to deliver...to my house...Ram harakh..

                          Indane Gas Cylinder — delay in getting gas cylinder

                          My consumer number in Revathi Gas Agency at Medavakkam Chennai 600100 is 2221(Uma Maheswari). I booked my cylinder over phone on 23.12.2010. When enquired on 8.1.2011, they told that the billing will be done on 10.1.2011 and it will take 20 more days to deliver the cylinder. So totally I will have to wait for above 35 days to get the cylinder. When the Petroleum ministry is saying that there is no time limit for booking gas cylinders, why is the Agency taking that much time ? Without LPG how a middle class family can survive? I request you to kindly look into the matter and ensure that the cylinder is delivered within a week as was done earlier.

                            My husband Late. SK Faiazuddin quadri was the holding the LPG gas connection vide consumer no:4682 at Ordnance Gas Services, Ordnance Factory Estate, Yeddumailaram, dist: Medak(AP) Ph:[protected]. The same was transferred to M/S shreya agencies gulbaraga during May-2006 . At the time of transfer after completion of formalities Ordance Gas services had issued a transfer voucher which was submitted to M/S shreya Gas agencies, gulbarga. Since then continuously I am getting gas cylinder refilling.

                            But recently, the agency management changed. The new management is asking me to get a fresh transfer voucher from Ordnance Gas services, which impracticable and irrelevant. On his insisting I brought a letter from gas agency certifying that my gas connection is transferred. But they are not ready to accept it and threatening to stop the gas supply.

                            Sir, I am a widow. I cannot make to rounds of different offices further. Due to none of my mistake I am being harassed. Kindly instruct the concerned authorities to instruct gas agency to stop the harassment and continue the supply.

On dated 07.1.2013 met the Agency,computer operator showed himself helpless in this regard and asked me to talk Owner of Agency,at 09:48 am ranged
                              mob.no.[protected],On informing the problem to owner he told ,It is not possible to deliver the cylindr in subsidised rates as computer shows delivery on 14.9.2012.
                              As effective date of new circular is from 14.9.2012,Kindly resolve the issue accordingly as per rule to save the rights of Consumers.

                                Today Once Again Gas Leakage Occurred during Changing the Refilled Cylinder because While Delivering itself delivery person not checked the rubber washer fiitted at the mouth of Cylinder,but Delivery person not forget to take Rs.20/ extra for each cylinder,, This is 2nd Time,

                                Respected Sir/Madam,
                                I have a gas cylinder connection for home from Indane Gas(Indian Oil) through it's distributor Dikshit Gas Sewa at Dedha Market, Main Road Village khichripur, Delhi-91. Distributor was providing me with a cylinder which had a lesser weight of gas than what it should be having so I complained against the same to the Indane Gas company through it's website. But instead of getting any reply what I got from distributor is that my connection has been made inactive without giving me any intimation through mobile(as we get intimation through sms whenever we book a new cylinder on company website) or through e-mail when you can give intimation for even a new booking why can't you give intimation for suspending or cancelling a connection. What does that mean that I do not deserve to get a cylinder from the government of India what crime have I committed that they won't even let me know what is my mistake when your website responds that connection is inactive shouldn't there be a place where you get your answers. Such distributors they have stopped giving subsidised cylinders to people like me who complain against them, I am not even sure if they would be even obliging by giving a commercial cylinder to us. Why can't more people be given distribution-ship of such gas agencies, why such people are allowed to run their monopolies, has the government ever survyed or analysed as to how much customers is such an agency providing connections or are they working on a fair play policies or they only exploiting their customers there is hardly any use of giving subsidised cylinders if the subsidisation is only being used by such agencies to their own benefits. A gas connection is the basic need for every person because you require it to cook your food as cow dung cakes or even kerosene oil are not available now there are hardly any other means to prepare your food which is basic requirement which even criminals are provided with in jail. Is it necessary for every person to fight through court to get it's right and such basic requirements. Please don't let your population being exploited by such people at-least provide us cylinders that are not subsidised but at least easily available like other things of necessities such as wheat, rice, vegetables etc.

                                    I had experienced a serious foul play on last Christmas day at INDIAN OIL Pump Dealer at HUSKUR Gate, near Electronic city Phase II.

                                    I requested for filling petrol for Rs 500. I came out from car to check the petrol meter reading. The reading was zero, and the staff started filling fuel. While filling the fuel he distracted my attention by making much hurry in asking for money and asking for some rubbish casual things. In between when I was checking my wallet, the meter reading went to 500 immediately. Then I noticed fuel quantity display is not working. When I asked about this, they told like meter reading was set to zero before filling fuel and so...and liter display is on repair. They were enacting like not knowing Hindi or English, they spoke only in Kannada. I left out there without arguing much….what to do if you don’t know language :(

                                    Not sure how many fellows were CHEATED BY THESE FRAUDS….

                                    Please be careful and cautious when you fill fuels in Pumps.

                                    Indian Oil — Indian Oil Fuel Pump Frauds

                                    Hi,

                                    On Sunday 28 Mar 10, I had been to Kodihalli Indian Oil gas station and asked him to fill fuel for 400.00 INR. As they started filling the gas the guy who took my debit card for swiping to my surprise started asking for PIN number for my debit card just to deviate my attention and within that moment the person who was filling the gas stopped filling the gas and changed the meter reading to 400 INR where as it was only filled for 320.81 INR. To my luck i noticed what was going on and started asking him what are you trying to do and why did you change the reading? but, he started saying the power went down and some crap which i wasn't ready to believe.

                                    And I want to bring to your notice this fraudulent activities carried out at many Indian oil gas stations and please be very careful when you fill fuel at these centers (Most corrupted ones).

                                    recently i working with Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation (GSPC GAS) company.
                                    Sir yesterday (14/05/2011) when i went for fill up my car for full tank. The petrol pump dealer at Visnagar named "M/S D. Patel & Co." said they don't have stock of petrol because price will be rise. but sir they already have much stock and that is not fare.
                                    second thing they never use digital system for fill up tank every time they fill up manually and each time they fill less petrol means (if anybody fill 200.00 rs. petrol they fill only 199.02 or 199.67 etc..) and they cheated everyone.
                                    third thing quantity of petrol & diesel per liter is not proper follow measurement & gauging rules. they also cheated in Quantity ...

                                    Sir your Quality is always excellent but dealers are fraud.
                                    Please take immediately action against dealer.
