An Indane gas cylinder started leaking at 0800 hours. Tried to call Indane emergency numbers and those were switched off. After 0900 hrs, one call got through which advised us to contact the distributors,i.e. Vikas Distributors. No one responded there also. Perforce I personally went to Vikas Distibutor's office located about seven km away and lodged the complaint in person. I was promised that someone would be sent, but no one turned up even after six hrs of lodging the complaint. I contacted again the Indane emergency number and got through and was told that it could receive complaint only after Vikas Distributor was closed for the day and was advised to call again to complain. I do not know if I will ever get through and get the service.
I thought that gas leakage is an emergency situation , but Indane or Vikas Distributors seem not to have the same view.

    SUPPLIED ONLY 3.6 KG NET WT GAS INSTEAD OF 14.2 KG AS PER BILL NO. 8645 DT 26/8/12. IT WAS DELIVERED IN THE AFTERNOON WHEN IT WAS NOT POSSIBLE TO CHECK THE WEIGHT . TODAY IT WAS NOTICED & HENCE WEIGHED & FOUND THE DISCREPANCY . IT IS PERTINENT TO MENTION HERE THAT WE ARE HAVING 2 CYLINDER CONNECTIONS . THE ABOVE MENTIONED GAS CYLINDER WAS SUPPLIED BY A PERSON NAMED AS SUJOY WHO CHECKED THE GAS FOR LEAKAGE AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY.
    PLEASE TREAT THIS COMPLAIN AS URGENT AS IT INVOLVE A LOSS OF RS 300 APPROX .

    Indane Gas home use 14.2Kg — Delay of delivery of gas cylider

    I'm a GOVT. OFFICER.I'm a prescribed user of of indane gas.Cosumer no.15437.I had booked for a refil gas cylinder and now its more than 50 days afer I had booked.I have not recieved the cylinder.There is only one cylinder distributer in our locality in thrissur.May families are facing the same trouble.the authorities are calling us names when we enquire about this matter. So I THINK WITH THIS LETTER YOU WILL ENQUIRE INTO THE MATTER IMMEDIATLY AND TAKE NECESSARY DECITIONS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

      Sub-facing the problem of irregular supply of lpg cylinder at home and misbehavior of distributor(M/S Meera Indane code 161204).


      I am smt.Alo Bhattacharyya(sangiri) wife of Sridhar Bhattacharyya,a consumer of M/S Meera Indane(Distributor of Indian Oil Corporation

      Limited),code-161204,at+post and sub division-Khatra,Dist-Bankura,Pin-722140,West Bengal.

      M/S Mera Indane always create a lot of problems for home delivery of gas.And for this every time I request for help IOCL higher

      authority and B.D.O/S.D.O/D.M/Area Manager Durgapur (IOCL),a lot of days after complain he gives the cylinder (without checking the

      weight) example I booked for gas on 29/062012,and delivery date 08/08/2012 (after 39 days).And this time I book for gas on

      01/09/2012 but till today distributor supply no cylinder.
      I and My husband is state govt. employee we are always busy at work and my old mother is sick,And for this type of irregular supply we have to face a lot of problems always.

      I requested to solve this gas delivery problem according to Indian Oil Corporation Limited.

      Indian Oil Corporation Ltd/Indane gas — Difficulty in registering gas cylinder supply

      My name is N T Mathai, resident of D 3, Tanishq Appts, 8/917, Dadabari Road, Mehrauli, New delhi - 110030. I am registered with "Sai seva gas agencieis, Vasant kunj for supply of my indane gas.

      I am finding it extremely difficult to get a request for supply of gas cylinder through telephone. The telephone numbers provided by the agency is 26134492 is inaccessable and therefore, most of the times I have to personally go to their shop and book my requirement of gas and thereafter the same is being delivered after 4-5 days.

      I want to know whether there is any other method of online booking of cooking gas which would be very helpful in resolving such inconveniences.

      I am a costumer of IOC costumer no-20015, Vikram Enterprises, Bokaro steel city, Jharkhand.As per IOC rule I am booking for re-fill cylinder after 21 days, and the concerned enterprises is taking another 12-15 days to supply gas.It means I had to wait 35-37 days to get my gas via proper route.This encourages the black marketing.

      Indianoil corporation — issue of gas cylinder

      I have booked for a new LPG house hold connection on 30/7/07, at Ramgas Agencies at Malappuram. I was alloted a waiting list no 2834 on the same day. Even now, though it is almost two years I am not issue the connection.

      I have contacted the dealer to enquire on the delay and they couldn't provide me a convincing answer.

      Please do the necessary to let me know why there is so much delay in issuing me the connection.

      IOCL — Misbehavior & wrong information

      Dear Sir / Mam,

      We had been to IOCL retail outlet at Pimpri, adjacent to Hindustan Antebiotics Limited.

      The staff there was extremely unfriendly when we asked them to serve us with regular Petrol and NOT Xtra Premium. They said, that they didnt stock Regular Petrol as the IOCL didnt send them any stock.

      We had topped up our petrol tank with 39 Litres of fuel and had to hunt for cash as they refused to accept credit card even though we had seen the swiping machine at their office.

      I was with my whole family and the staff there was joking and mocking at us paasing comments just because we asked for Regular Petrol.

      You claim that you have high standards in serving the customer but my experience was exactly opposite to that. I felt humiliated visiting your petrol pump. Hope some one will read this and take action rather than thrashing it as you do at your Gas stations.

      my self deepak R/o 280 Y/12A MAHALAXMI ENCLAVE KARAWAL NAGAR DELHI-110094, MY CONSUMER NO; IS 2623 and my gas agency is AKASH GAS SERVICES AND THIS AGENCY DONOT DELIVERED THE GAS CYLINDER ON THE PROPER TIME AND ALWAYS ABUSING TO THE CONSUMER.       We booked for new LPG connection in JSR gas agency, colachel on 15/05/2012 and the running serial no is 28152. They told like we will get the connection within a month but we did't get it till now, it was nearly 70 days. When we called JSR the response was extremely bad.

        I am a consumer of Indane gas, I booked gas thru chandra gas agency ambattur - 2 months back and I received a acknowledgement from them stating that "Refill booking made booking no# 439827 - Cylinder will be delievered shortly on 03 Sep 2012" - But I didnt get the cylinder yet even after 10 days of acknowledgement.

        Whenever I tried contacting the gas agency - Recorded voice was put on after a single ring and When i tried for Indane customer care - there too no response. I wonder how can such a reputed company still have a very poor customer service management?

        No need to mention that cooking food everyday - is very essential and We are suffering a lot since most of the people are working.

        We are trying to call since 2 monts on your given 2 numbers. But always getting it engaegd.We are facing this problem since very long.Neither the new number has been updated on site as well as on the 191 service.

          Indian Oil LPG — Delivery problem

          After 20 days of bokking against my service no. 19316, gas cylinder not delivered. While enquiring they said that, 2/3 days time will take to delivery.

Always we used to get the computerised reply......I have already complained about this to IOC........ If in future the same conditions occurs, I shall go through the CONSUMER COURT......

                1. I booked a gas cylinder on line against consumer book no 15556 at Debai/Dibai under Bulandshahr district o[censored]ttar Pradesh Indane Gas agency on 21 Aug 12. The allotted booking number was 244. On further inquiry, I was told that the booking of cylinder to rural area is applicable only on completion of 30 days and issue of cylinder after 40 days from last delivery of cylinder. The last delivery of cylinder was made on 12 Jul 12.

                2. On 25 Aug 12 when the consumer reached to the gas agency with empty cylinder covering 10 kms of distance by peddling the cycle he was bluffed by the staff by telling that no cylinder has been booked against the ibid consumer book number and the consumer was forced to re-book the gas cylinder on date. I was contacted by the consumer and reported the shameful act of the gas agency staff available there. I gave a call to the staff of gas agency and wanted to know the fact about what has gone wrong.

                3. The staff on line without disclosing his identity bluffed me also by stating that current booking serial no is 133 and how can be your booking no is 244. After lot of hue and cry they succumbed and conceded the fact but continued with nonsense by telling that issue of gas cylinder to rural area is made only in the morning hours and now it is after noon. Ultimately the option left with the consumer was to carry the empty cylinder back to the village while peddling the cycle.

                4. Now, I request to know the type of action required to be taken against the manager and the staff of this gas agency so that in future no one of my super democratic country dare to do the mockery of on line booking facility provided to cater the consumer in a better way. The name of the manager understood to be Mr Triloki and telephone no of the gas agency is [protected].

                    Indane LPG Consumer No 02360 under distributor M/s Best Flame Katwa.
                    Consumer Pankaj Kumar Saha, my father-in-law died appointing me as Executor of his registered Will involving the property of house and all fittings and gas connection gifted to my minor son Sourav as my husband is mentally not fit at all.
                    I prayed to dealer to treansfer the said LPG connection in my name inplace of my deceased father-in-law as I deserve so as per law, but the distributor refused to do so .
                    I am unable to submit KYC form supplied by I O C to all consumers as my father-in-law already died and my name has not been mutated in his place .
                    I am helpless please help me to get my name mutated in place of my father-in-law (since deceased) as early as possible

                      I am Amit Prakash and my indian oil gas consumer number is 75212.I have taken the connection from sridhar gas agency in Alandur.The problem is whenever i book the cylinder for refill,this agency never deliver to my place.Usually i get the message that it will be delivered shortly but it never happens.I always keep calling them to deliver but they never respond.after two months only they deliver.they get the cylinder under my name in the first month but they sell it in black money and i never get my refill cylinder.please do the needfull.we are suffering a lot.thanks.

                          Dear Sir,

                          I had filled in Petrol in my Ritz and wanted to fill tank full of petrol and reached out to Sri Amman Agency, Indian Oil Co. Dealer, Velachery Main Road, Medavakkam, Chennai 600 100 en-route my office. I am sorry to say that I had very bad experience from the staff of this agency, they not only behaved cordially and but made loss to me. Before filling the petrol for full tank, I asked the lady who filled the petrol to lock the dispenser, so that it automatically stop the petrol flow once the tank gets full. but she told me the lock is broken and started arguing with me stating that I have gone to a wrong place to fill in the petrol, they never told me this prior to this incidence. At last she did not know when the tank was full and spilled about more than a litre outside and the petrol was flowing out for more than a minute. Even I told that I would not pay for full, still they charged me for the full. It was card payment.

                          I tried to call the manager in the telephone number specified in the bunk, the manager answered the call when I told the problem, he cut the phone. Second time when I called him, he said this is a watch company.

                          I urge the company to take necessary action so that such agencies maintain their equipments appropriately and deal with client with dignity and respect and compensate appropriately

                            I am a user of Xtra Rewards Card since last 3 years. on 26th April 2017, I called up customer care to change my registered mobile no. as I lost my sim card. I was told by the CC Executive that it may take MAXIMUM 7 DAYS to change the reg. mobile no. & after repeated follow up POST 7 DAYS, I received an answer "We are having a Technical Error since last 20 days" which was really funny & very much predictable looking at the PATHETIC Customer Service . I tried calling CC on 18th May 2017 to know whether such a huge company has cured its TECHNICAL ERRORS or they still have it the guy who picked up the call, Mr. Aheem Pir, from very first second was trying to make me feel as if he is doing me a favor talking to me and informed that 7 DAYS time is the MINIMUM time to change the mobile no & cant commit the maximum time & it may also take 1 more month. On asking him to transfer the call to the floor supervisor, he rudely answered that we do not have a provision to transfer the call and disconnected the call. Only 1 Suggestion to INDIAN OIL, If you cant serve what you have committed please shut off the fake services like XTRA REWARDS and attempts to insult the Customer.

                                  I am a consumer of Indane LPG and my distributor is Manikamal Gas Agency. Its address is Rabindrabithi, Bypass More, Bolpur. My consumer no. is 11496. I am having problem in receiving gas refill on time despite booking on proper time. This has been happening for long and each time I have to pursue the dealer again and again to get the refill on time. The last refill I got was on 4th August, 2012 and according to rules I booked after 21 days on 25th August 2012. I am waiting for the refill till today which is 5th of September 2012. This means that I am not getting a refill in a month. This is creating huge problem. And why do I have to pursue the dealer every time over phone or in self?

                                  I wish that the matter is probed as it violates my consumer rights.

                                  We have booked a request for LPG refill through phone on 21st March for Consumer number 7547 and the booking reference number given to us was 23. It has been almost ten days and we have not received the refill cylinder and when we call the same number, it says that the request has already been submitted on the 21st March. Please help

                                  I Ashok Jain, consumer no. 3840, of distributor Chauhan Gas Service, by-pass near model town, Hoshiarpur having code[protected] have booked a gas cylender on[protected] memo no. 771. Till today yet, i have not received my gas cylender. After 20-25 visits at their Chauhan Gas Service, they have refused to give the cylender with the excuse that gas is not available with them.
                                  So please, tell me the reason why gas is not available for us. There are some persons around the agency. They say that you can take the gas @Rs.550 per cylender. We are facing many problems since last 2 weeks due to these cylenders only. So you are requested to take some strict action against it.

                                  Indane LPG — not received after 20 days also

                                  Dear Sir,
                                  I am a harrassed customer of Indane Gas the harresment is being done by their distributor Shiva Gas Service, Ajabpur Kalan Bypass Dehradun.
                                  We booked a gas with them on 9th October 2010 & was told that the gas will reach us within 10 days. To our surprise when the gas did not come within the stipulated time we went to inquire about the position of the gas we were rebuked in a very rudly manner by their staff & were told that we can do whatever we want to as the gas is not available. The way they spoke to us was very rude & uncalled for.
                                  These agency people are selling their cylinders in BLACK as we know a couple of people who have bought it from their cycle delivery men.
                                  IT IS TOTALLY UNCALLED FOR THAT THEY CAN SELL THE GAS IN BLACK & THE CONSUMERS STAND IN LINE FOR THEIR GAS CYLINDERS TO BE DELIVERED. WITH THE LANGUAGE THAT THEY SPEAK WE FEEL THAT THEIR AGENCY SHOULD BE TERMINATED. This agency has said that they will book the gas only after 21 days of delivery of the gas & thereafter will deliver the gas after 15 days of the booking date. It is to be understood as to how one can survive with one gas cylinder for 45 days.
                                  This is for your kind information and immediate action.

                                  Indane LPG — Refill not recd.

                                  Hi,

                                  Refill for domestic LPG was booked on 13th March but the cylinder has not yet been delivered. However, status on the automated booking system ([protected]) is updated to delivered vide bill no. 12365.

                                  There seems to be a misappropriation of refills here. This is the second such instance for this consumer no., earlier the same had happened in May 2011.

                                  Booking & Consumer details given below:

                                  Date of Booking = 13/March/2012
                                  Consumer No. = 21477
                                  Consumer Name = Arvind Kumar Somani

                                  I have also logged-in a complaint on the toll free customer care no. ([protected]) on 30/March/2012 vide complaint no. 386080 but no action has been taken till date. Also, when I tried to know the status of resolution thorugh the same no. the tele-call person (Mr. S. K. Rehan) has said he cannot provide any information because he is not authorised to do so and also cannot take any further complaint on this.

                                  On 13th Apr.'12, a refill was brought for delivery but I had not accepted because the delivery person did not have a cash memo / bill for the delivery.

                                      I had filled petrol from Indian Oil Dealer near Mc Donalds in Janpath Delhi on 27.8.2012. My car had just come in reserve mode. It was raining heavily and I did not want to get stuck in huge trafiic and hence I paid Rs 500 for filling the petrol. Approx 7.31 ltrs of petrol should have been filed. After a while I noticed that even after the petrol was filled, the reserve light did not go -off. Since the trafiic was huge, I could not return. The phone number given in the bill was incorrect. They use manual system for filing in the petrol. The dealer had definitely comitted fraud and I urge to take strick action against the said dealer.

                                        I have requested to fill 1000 rupees petrol in my car. The petrol pumb is in Marathahalli Bangalore (Amar Service Station) and the service person is not willing to start the filling instead was insisting to give the cash/card. When I stepped out and asked him to start filling the digital meter is set for 1000 and started it. In few minutes, the card is returned to me and another person said the petrol is filled. Having a digital meter in the car, I have got doubt on it and parked the car and asked him to give the online report for the petrol filled. There was no other vehicle waiting to fill and it is noticed that only 724 rupees petrol was filled. When complained they suddenly started apologising and said it was a power issue. In reality there was no such issue and it was a well co-ordinated fraud. The supervisor was acting as if he is not aware of it and this is the first time it is happening. It is clear case of planned fraud and this type of cheat should be punished to the core..

                                        The bill number is : 11127 (August 28, 2012, 16:30 hrs).

                                        amar service station — Free air filling

                                        Dear Sir,
                                        In bangalore i had seen many petrol pumps filling air for free if you had filled petrol from them. But "Amar service station" in marathahalli, bangalore is charging 2 rs for 2 wheelers and 4 rs for 4 wheelers to fill the air even after they got the petrol from them.
                                        I argued the same with the air filling guy that i had filled 400/- worth of petrol so i will not give 2/- for air fill. But he started arguing to me that even if you fill for 1000/- you need to give 2/- and had taken that.
                                        The management was well known about this air filling robbery even though they are supposed to fill the air for free.

                                        Please do some thing to stop this robbery as i feel it is stupid to charge for air and they are getting thousand's of rupees on this air filling apart from the petrol.

                                        This is a serious issue. I think you should mention the oil company name(IOCL/BPCL/HPCL). Please contact the concerned sales officer whose number is displayed at that particular petrol pump.
                                        You are absolutely right. The same thing happened with me.
                                        Amar Service center is fraud petrol bunk in bangalore. They have done the same thing. when i questioned about the quantity with the manager.He is defending and protecting his employees. He is hand in glove in crime.

                                        I went to AMAR SERVICE CENTER, IOC limited, Marathalli for Rs:200 petrol for my byke. Within a fraction of second they make the Rs 200 get displayed on the machine, but my byke fuel indicator shows just half, if we could have the 2.65lts.
                                        I claimed to the delivery boy what is the amount of Petrol has inserted in the byke.
                                        Directly informed 2 lts.
                                        Again delivery boy had give some extra amount of Petrol without any charge, but that amount also does not help my byke fuel indicator to indicate the same amount, which it should be, 2.65lts.
