gas cylinder — Non dellivery after 56 days of Booking

I have booked the cylinder at Cherukara Agencies, Alleppey on
21.08.08 vide their booking No 10846.Delivery has not yet taken
place till this date despite our regular enquiry. Please instruct them for immediate delivery.

I am a resident from Nashik, Maharashtra.But due to some circumstances I am in Kerala from last May'2011. We have booked gas on January 11 2012. But even after 50 days we didn't get the cylinder. When i asked the lady sitting in Kottarath enterprises, kanjany, thrissur she replied that they are distributing the cylinders for those people who have booked in end december 2011. so it will take another one week. then there was strike which we can understand. we asked several people for cylinders, but in vain. after the strike was over, i again went to the office to check about delivery of gas cylinder. She replied that strike is over but they have not received the cylinders. i told them the urgency and they told me that as soon as they recieve the cylinders, they will supply our cylinder in first lot. now 6 days are over. today when in enquired, i got the reply that the supplier is not going to your area. so when the supplier van goes to your area, i will get it. How is it possible. You should deliver the cylinders as per the booking dates and not looking at the vehicles going in which direction.

    Delay in Delivery of Refilled Gas Cylinder
    Sir ,

    This is regarding the delay in delivery of Refilled Gas Cylinder of Domestic Gas Cylinder Category. My consumer no is 02985 with Indane . Distributor
    B.T.P.S. Cooperative Ltd BTPS Township, Tribeni, Hooghly, West Bengal In the past 2 years there is always a delay in delivery of the Refilled Gas Cylinder at my residence for more than 40 days from the booking date . Even after complaining several times in the past 2 yrs , I am not getting proper response, The Manager and the Properietor behave rudely with me rudely and use filthy language , They also threaten me with dire consequences .

    i have a long record of gas booking & delivery dates, witch shows the bad service of
    above said agency.

      Sir ,

      This is regarding the delay in delivery of Refilled Gas Cylinder of Domestic Gas Cylinder Category. My consumer no is 54348 with Indane . Distributor
      Ranee Gas Agencies at Perumal Nagar Nanganallur , Chennai - 600 061. In the past 2 years there is always a delay in delivery of the Refilled Gas Cylinder at my residence for more than 40 days from the booking date . Even after complaining several times in the past 2 yrs , I am not getting proper response, The Manager and the Properietor behave rudely with me rudely and use filthy language , They also threaten me with dire consequences . They also lodge police complaint and harass me physically and mentally ,

      The booking dates and the delivery dates in the past 6 months are as follows :

      For the above delays I personally visited the Area Office at Teynampet in Chennai and lodged a written complaint . on 19/1/2012 @ 12.30 pm , I spoke to Area Manager Mrs Moti Sai Vasudevan and she accepted the complaint after 1 hr .The sales officer in the office spoke to me in filthy language and rudely in front of his Area Manager . Even the Area Manager spoke to me rudely and irresponsibly . I was told that i will get the reply within 10 days, Even after 28 days since 19.1.2012 , i didnt recieve any reply either thro post or email or thro phone. This is highly ridiculous that a PSU company like Indane behaves like this to the customer irresponsibly.

      I request you to look urgently in this matter and take action immediately .I also asked for a compenastion of Rs 50000.00 since i have to spend such amount for buying other Cooking appliances because of late delivery and other medical expenses.

      lindane — very late in delivering the gas

      sir, my consumer no. is A-2315 under the name of S.S.Rama sharma
      my father we have booked for gas on 11th or 12th of september but still they have not delivered the gas till date that is 23/09/08

      please do the needful urgently

      lindane — Very Late Delivery and no response

      Indane Gas Service : I am really frustrated with this service of Sri Gurukrupa Indane Distributors (Located at 6th Phase JP Nagar, Bangalore-560078.) Its really worst case in emergencies. They dont even attend the call and I really know they keep the Phone receiver aside, the call fails suddenlly when calling. The service is very bad, me and my neighbour booked on same date(OCT 3) with one hour differences, they got cylinder in 1 week, its been two weeks since we get the cylinder. Its really goin worse, and anyone has to take proper action ot see that they provide good service to customers.

      lindane — no responce from anybody

      I am a resident of Kendriya Vihar sector-82, Noida. My connection no. is 12001, we were having the supply from "Ela Gas agency". Now few weeks ago its closed (we don't know any reason). Now after we kept calling different numbers, (including the customer care,) for gas booking but every personal is behaving like its our fault. There is another gas agency which is in Kasna ("TOMO Gas), and they kept promising to deliver the gas but still after 21 days they are responding in very rude way. I am seriously looking to take help from "consumer forum" as those people are completely hopeless.
      I am shocked to see the professionalism in those people.

      is anybody knows where to lodge a written complain please tell me. Thanks.

      lindane — Cylinder booked but not get

      I booked a gas cylinder on 20/11/09 but not get. Before 20th I tried several times to contact to DEVI GAS AGENCIES, VAIKOM,KERALA. but they didn't take the phone. My consumer No. 14949.

      lindane — cylinder not delivered which was booked on 16-2-12

      respected sir,
      i have received last gas cylinder on 1-2-12 and booked new cylinder as on 16-2-12 but have not received the gas cylinder till now. sir you tell how a gas cylinder can work for more than 1 month. please help me by solving my problem as soon as possible.

        I am residing at TNHB Colony velachery, Chennai and My consumer number is 26986. The distributor is Sabha Indane Gas Agencies, 51, cart Track Road, Maduvinkarai, Guindy, Chennai-32. The door delivery person received the cash which is extra Rs.30 from the billing amount on 16.Feb.2012.

        They do not attend phone calls ([protected] – srinivas , office :[protected], hence it has become a tough time to know gas booking status and to convey the complaints.

        If the bell is ringing but no response. If we try next time always busy.

        We are totally vexed and upset.

        Problem 1: Not able to contact agencies.
        Problem 2: Extra charging for gas


        Kindly look into the above matter and do the needful.

          Dear Sir,
          I am a LPG Indane Gas customer with Sherawat Gas agency, devli, delhi and my consumer number is s-13341. I have booked for a refile on 07th feb.12 over phone. They replied that they will Distribute before 13/2/12. In person I explained the things to the agency and my 2 cylinders are empty due to abnormal delay, but they are not ready to hear anything and they are dealing the customers very bad. Now we are searching for other option that where the services is good. This is the think not only happen for me but all Sherawat Gas agency consumers. Please take necessary action. and i also had the word with the delivery boy of the same according to him he had finish the cylinder stock when the new stock will come he will deliver. even he is talking to us very rudely and doing loos- talk with my faimly members. i am fed up with this kind of service.

          Till the date i did not received any conformation from the gas agency.......
          kindly do the needful as soon as possible..............

Now, I booked riffle on 22.02.12 but till date not received the riffle from the agency. I have given a complaint in writing on 01.03.12 to Mr. Pathak perhaps Area Manager of IOL Ltd. Bareilly Region Bareilly in-spite of this riffle is not given to me. Employee of said agency misbehaved me use to adopt such practice every time. All Customers Cell of IOL Bareilly are not cooperating.

            1. consumer No. 199 would like to bring to your notice following irregularities in supply of refill through distributor of indane gas named makripa gas agency located at mogapair chennai

            2. Refill when delivered is reflected 2 to 3 days late on their computer consequently next booking get delayed as they book refill after 21 days

            3. after booking the refill it should be delivered withing 07 days form the date of booking as per the rule but they deliver refill in more than 45 days

            4. We i contact that agency through phone they cannot pick the phone or they put computer voice repeatly

            But till date I have not received the cylinder. Regarding this I have called several times to your agency for the status of supply of cylinder.

            The dates which I have called and reply from the representatives.
            24.09.09- They informed me that the bill receipt is generated and it will be supplied by today.

            25.09.09 – They informed me to contact Mr.Ramesh and given his contact no: [protected].
            - He informed me that the supply will be done by this evening by 6.00pm.

            26.09.09 – They have informed the supply was problem so supply is getting late.

            05.10.09 - They informed me “To contact Mr.Ramesh and request him for the supply telling him that the booking made one month ago”.
            - Mr.Ramesh has informed to contact office for the supply.

            06.10.09 – They informed me that the supply is today in periyanaickenpalayam only so you will get surely.

            But till date the supply has not been made I have suffered very lot due to your irresponsibility.
            I need to know whether the supply is directed from the office or by the supplier (Mr.Ramesh)

              Sir, my consumer number is 17823. Our gas distributer is Yadav Gas Agency, Sahibabad Industrial Area, Ghaziabad.

              Sir, It is to brought to the notice of concerned officials of Indane Gas, that we are continuously getting less quantity in fresh cylinders we receive. The delivery boy comes with an autorickshaw fully loaded with fresh cylinders but none of the cylinder weighs more than 28 KG. Range of weight which these fresh cylinders carry ranges from 26 KG to 28 KG, out of which some are lin leaky condition, which the delivery boy forces us to receive on every delivery.
              On the slip we receive with the cylinder, the mentioned weight is more than 30 KG always.
              The empty weight mentioned on the cylinder is around 14.6 kg and gas we should receive is 14 kg for Rs. 395/- as mentioned on the gas receipt.
              This conveys a clear message that there is some gap in what is mentioned on the slip and what actually we are receiving.
              Gas rate on papers comes out to Rs. 28.214/- per KG (395 divided by 14)
              Gas rate we are paying assuming 26 kg cylinder comes out to Rs. 39.5/- per KG (395 divided by 10)
              Gas rate we are paying assuming 28 kg cylinder comes out to Rs. 32.91/- per KG (395 divided by 12)
              However we shall pay Rs. 338.57/- for 28 kg cylinder (saving of Rs. 56.428/- for us) and
              we shall pay Rs. 282.14/- for 26 kg cylinder (saving of Rs. 112.857/- for us)
              Thus you can see that paying Rs. 56/- more or Rs. 112/- more every time we receive a cylinder is an extra cost to us.
              The distributer was contacted several times for this problem, but the persons receiving my complaints have not properly registered but simply write on a piece of paper.
              We are totally annoyed by the attitude of delivery boy who raises his eyebrows on our objection to deliver 30 kg cylinder. We also do not like the no-action policy of the distributer and misappropriation in the gas deliveries.

              Please take necessary action.

                  Status of refill booking

                  Got the booking no as 283008 & Cash memo as 492

                  Itz been a month , i dont know the status of the same .. when i try the toll free to check the status/complaint -it say no service available for this .
                  Even itz webservice is not providing the status details ..says in construction

                      dear sir,
                      all leading petrol pumps in the counter owned by IOC (indian oil company),was promoting a luck draw announced to be held after 31 st feb2012 .
                      the name given to this promotional lucky draw scheme was "CAR IN A TANK''[protected] DRAW.
                      BUT TILL DATE NO SUCH RESULTS ARE ANNOUNCED NOR THERE IS ANY PROBABLE DATE MENTIONERD ON IOC WEBSITE .
                      I DOUBT THIS WAS A HOAX LUCK DRAW AND IOC FOOLED THEIR CUSTOMERS FOR THE SAKE OF PUBLICITY,,,....

                      I request you to please find out the genuinicity of this scheme and winners of the same ....filing which the company should undergo disciplinary action and penalty for fooling its customers and running fake schemes for promotion.

                      I agree with the comments of Dr Vijay Sharma. I beleive this shoudl be investigated at the highset level since i suspect involvement at the higher levelin iocl to make illegal money out of this scheme by fooling customers accross the country.

                      If it is a hoax then it is a cheap trick by such a big company, they will lose credibility and I will personally stop buying petrol from IOC bunks.

                        My consumer no is 12527 with Mahendra gas agency of INDANE a Indian oil corporation concern.
                        The agency is allowing to book gas refilling after 21 days from the date of last delivery and the gas
                        refilling is done again after 20-22 days. So it takes approximately 42-44 days total time between refilling .
                        This is too much time taken by gas company to provide refilling.

                          Sir, My LPG gas connection falls under your authorised dealer : M/s TEJ ENTERPRISES, Gopalpura Byepass, Jaipur.

                          My Gas consumer number is 244839. I was regularly getting my refills on time and reasonably right time from booking date.

                          Recently they have started a new gas booking system on mobile number [protected]. On doing so i am getting the feed back from computer connected to this mobile number that my refill has been booked by IOC / Tej Enterprises on 31.01.12 vide booking no.15843 and the same has been delivered to me on 21.01.12.

                          First of all how is it possible that as per the computer feed back, i am booking for refill on 31.01.12 and i am getting the refill supply on 21.01.12 ????????

                          Secondly, the computer do not take fresh booking on my consumer number ????????

                          Lastly, when contacted TEJ ENTERPRISES OFFICE, they after seeing their computer, advises me to book for my refill on this mobile number [protected] else they do not hear my any grievances?????

                          Kindly do please look into the matter and resolve this automatic computerised booking system in more consumer friendly manner OTHERWISE THIS IS JUST A HAVOK FOR THE COMMON PUBLIC.

                          I trust my matter will kindly be looked into immediately or else i will be left with no other alternative to approach CONSUMER COURT and LOCAL DAILIES.

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  I am a Indane Domestic Gas User registered with Saheed Major Sudhir singh Chinkara Indane Gas Service ,DLF,sahibabad my connection no.is 1927, Today on Dt. 12-02-12 I had received a Refilled Gas cylinder against refill voucher no. 1947 dt.08-02-12 through the above said firm by the delivery boy named satish. The cylinder was delivered to my wife in my absence, when I return back to my home & checked the weight of the cylinder it feel that the weight was not up to the mark,to confirm my doubt I have done its weight in weighing scale & I was surprised after seeing the result, The weight comes approx. 26 Kg. including the empty cylinder weight. actual declared weight by indane was 30.2 Kg.(16+14.2 Kg).

                                  It is the clear case of cheating approx 4 Kgs of LPG was short supplied by the above said firm.

                                  Its really a fraud with the innocence users,being a aware consumer I had checked but it should not repeat with anyone in future & an enquiry should done against my complaint & they should compensate me.

                                    I am an Indane Gas (PC Gas) customer and i have booked my cylinder 3 weeks ago (on 27 Feb.) but it had not reached us yet. When we call , our call is not attended.

                                    indian oil gas — DELAY IN DELIVERY OF CYLINDER

                                    HI,
                                    I am a customer of Indiane gas for the last 25 years this really hurts me regarding the quality of service that the company is providing me.For the last 24 years there were some minor problems regarding the delay of gas cylinders but they were worse this year.Last month we had a change in our address and the new supplier M/S Alka agencies was our new supplier.After much waiting and several phone calls the change of address was possible,although it took a lot of time.but even after booking our request for a gas cylinder we were always said that there is strikes,trucks did not arrive in time,system slow all this and a lot of other things were said to us.Finally we decided to visit the agency and demanded an explanation in this case,but to our surprise we were intimated that the gas has been delivered to us some 2-3 weeks earlier,but we had never received any cylinder and when we demanded the receipt the gentleman over there said that we should book a new one instead of querying about the one booked earlier.BUt when we demanded the one that was booked earlier he told us to come the next day and collect the cylinder which we did and got the cylinder.
                                    Here it would be necessary to mention the black marketing of gas cylinders and i am sorry to say that the staff of indian oil responsible for its distribution are the ones involved in black marketing,otherwise how is it possible that gas cylinders with indian oil seals are always available at black market rates where as we are unable to get our booked cylinders in time??
                                    in the same region there are other companies like bharat gas and HP,which are providing there customers with cylinders in timebut this is not the case with indain gas why is it so??

                                    It really hurts that such great companies are full of corrupt and ill mannered staff and the company still does nothing about it.
                                    I know that nothing will ever happen in this regard but still it gives me a satisfaction.

                                    I have a Indian Oil Consumer No 32573 in the Name of Dhrubesh Kumar Mukherjee and the name of the Gas Agency is Kalkaji Gas in Kalkaji, DDA Flats, New Delhi.The main problem is that the Kalkaji Gas Agency is not picking up the phones and when i went to complaint to them they gave a number of Indian Oil Corporation to book on phone. The booking No is-10449 and Cash Memo No -10612 and date of delivery is 27.3.2011. But till 28.3.2011 at 1.30PM no cylinder is delivered at my address. Kindly look into this matter and ishall be thankful to you for your kind cooperation.

                                    I am ranjit roy from chennai.My consumer number is 32832.I have booked an gas cylinder on 26 september 2011.The name of the gas distributor is shoba gas agency in nugambakkam.Up to date i didn't get the gas cylinder.I have gone there and asked them when it would it come.They told me your gas has already been delievered on 24 october 2011.But i didnt recieve the gas cylinder so far.I recommend you to take neccesary actions for deliever the gas cylinder as early as possible

                                      My complaint against Shri Ganesh Indane Gas Service, i have booked gas on[protected] against my customer. At that time they informed me that the delivery will be within 10days. Today I called for status, the person is telling that it will take another 5 days and the way is talking to the customer is very manners less and rudely. He is blaming the customer that he is going to cancel the booking. Is the to handle the customer and why this big companies are hiring this type of people?
